Visit was great with no issues. Staff was nice, quick, and doctor was great. I noticed that my contacts had not come in yet. It had been over a week, so I called. The staff immediately jumped onto finding them. They were stuck at the post office because my address was missing my apartment number. The store manager, Tara, jumped on it and literally went to the post office to find my contacts and correct the issue!!! So awesome!!!
The 2 stars are for the supporting staff. Although process took quite a while im satisfied with the service from staff. However, after leaving I noticed I could see out of one eye better than the other. I think maybe the doctor thinks I cant distinguish putting 2 contacts in with different strengths. Not sure. But for the record I prefer to see the best from both eyes over the ease of having one prescription for both.
I went back weeks later to check and see if my overdue glasses were ready and they said that they were due to arrive the next day… They were only supposed to take two weeks two more weeks later and I still have not received a call about my glasses. Needless to say I am not a happy, yet still blind camper at this point.
Very prompt, competent and professional, from the greeting and exam to payment. Frank advice on replacing my favorite of my two pairs of glasses. Ill be going back to order them, despite the amazing adjustments they made to my less favorite pair and advice on just wearing them. ;D
We went at 3:30, finished our exam by 4:15, but the lady ringing us up didn’t finish until 5:10. Extremely slow service, it was very obvious that the lady didn’t know how to operate the register, and it took her far too long to ask for help. This was a routine eye exam, yet it took us longer than our first ever eye exam. Would not recommend. We missed an appointment due to what was supposed a quick, easy checkout.
Went in for contacts, a week later I got them and the Rx for the left eye they sent did not match what they ordered. I went back in the same day I received the wrong Rx and they reordered the right Rx that time, 17 days went by and the contacts never came and no one had a clue as to why they were taking so long. I finally had enough and went in yesterday and got a refund. I called 1800 Contacts yesterday and ordered from them and with the overnight shipping I got my contacts a couple hours ago. Won’t be going back again.
Excellent place. The whole staff is very sweet and professional. This will definitely be my new place to go for all my eye exam needs!
I would give zero star. The eye doctor at this walmart wrote my moms eye prescription that is much worse than her previous one. She cannot see things with the new glasses at all. It was a complete waste of money.
This is worst place to get glasses in gwinnett county. Walmart lab took over 2 week to make my mother glasses done, will not come here again.
The optometrist doctor is awesome! He went out of his way to give me the right contact lenses. In the past, I have gone to Dr. Paula Gorlin (near Target) and she wanted to charge me $250 dollars because she said it was a medical condition with my eyes. Well, guest what? The doctor at the Walmart Vision Center gave me softer contacts and I LOVE THEM. No discomfort whatsoever. I will be forever grateful. Thank you Doctor!!! You are the best. I recommend him highly!
My wife and I have gotten glasses here a couple of times and while it was far from being an exceptional experience, it was probably a 3 star experience. Today I went up there because my lens popped out and I could not see well enough to fix it myself. They were supposed to be open at 9AM so I got there at 8:55. At 9:40 I finally got a Walmart manager who told me they probably would be open by 10 AM but they could not say for sure since they were not Walmart but an outside company. I drove about 10 miles to another Walmart Vision Center (owned by Walmart according to the person working there) and they fixed it in 5 minutes, adjusted my frames for me, and polished the lenses. I wont be going back to the Collins Hill Walmart for anything, not just glasses.
I visited this center to take eye test and buy glasses. I have bifocal. Doctor is good natured and patient. You have to tell him to go bit slow.Lekesia and Stallia[Stacy] both were very patient and helped in selecting my glasses without progressive. They explained me my insurance benefit s etc. Over all good place to get glasses.
I recently moved and needed to order contacts by phone. It was not a difficult process and the office staff (spoke with staysha) were tremondously helpful. I called late in the evening and she returned my call the next day to finalize my order. Great customer service.
Wow a Wal-Mart Vision Center with an amazing staff. Never thought Id see the day. Ive used various Wal-Marts in the last 15 years for my eye products and exams. Ive moved around a lot in 3 different states during that time so Ive been through a number of Vision Centers. Recently moved into this area and had an apptmnt over the weekend. Staff was super friendly, smiling, and pleasant to talk to. Very courteous and professional. 10/10 would recommend.
The wait time to be acknowledged is at least 40 minutes.
There are only a few people here at a time. Its a very tedious process. However, once it was my turn my glasses were adjusted quickly.
I love the people there & I love my new prescription sunglasses 😎
I love the crew there!!! They are so nice to there costumers!!
Doctor and staff were great but the prices were high.
Very rude people!
Never went to the doctors there, but when filling my prescription for my glasses theyre Always fast, and gets glasses back same day !!
NEVER BUY GLASSES HERE NO MATTER HOW DESPERATE YOU ARE!!!!!! VERY CHEAPLY MADE AND WILL BREAK WITHIN WEEKS IF NOT DAYS OF BUYING THEM
RACIST COMPANY
