I have only ordered through Grub Hub, but when there was an issue with my order they gave me a call to make sure they got it correct. The next time I ordered they owner gave me a call personally just to say they had what I wanted and to thanked me for ordering again. Very friendly and the food is good. I will be order again.

After seeing all the pictures my friend Richard R. posted of this places, I was craving their food BAD. Im Venezuelan, so our food choices are similar to Dominicans for sure. Rice, and beans? Yes please! My first impression when I came in is this place was it is a Bodega, literally. For us, hispanics, a bodega means a mini market, usually owned, and run by a family where you can find the essentials, but not everything youre looking for. Here you can find essential Dominican spices, candies, and more. This was kinda surprising because I was expecting a dining in restaurant, but this wasnt the case.Besides the bodega, they have a food bar on the side kind of buffet style. According to Richard R. their menu keeps changing depending on availability, but when I visited they had pork, chicken, white rice, yellow rice, noodles, plantains, yucca, veggies, and beans.I ordered roasted chicken, yellow rice, and noodles. The chicken was very dry, unfortunately, but the rice and noodles were DELI! I loved that they use a lot of olives to condiment their food.I recommend this place if youre in the area, but have in mind there isnt a lot of seats, so it might be better for take out.ESPAÑOLDespués de ver todas las fotos que mi amigo Richard R. publicó de estos lugares, ansiaba su comida MAL.

I will give this place 6 stars if I could. The taste of the food is authentic. I can recognize the Dominican home cooking due to the flavors and seasoning. You cant go wrong with whatever you order. Everyone is friendly and will answer any question you have. They are open 7 days week. Monday through Saturday from 8am till 8pm and 10am till 5pm on Sundays. They sell pastries and other stuffs, I took pictures for you to review and enjoy. I am lucky to have this place close by and let me tell you it is a Gem! El lugar y la gente son super chevere y te tratan con cariño, excelente lugar!

So happy that I found this hidden gem! I was throwing a sweet 16 for my daughter and was in search for catering, the minute I walked in the store, I felt like I was back in New York. Maria and her husband are really nice and accommodating. They were reasonably priced and on the day of the event the food was delivered on time, hot and delicious! I received so many compliments on the food and people wanted to know where I got it from. Thank you guys for helping make my daughters party a success!

A little piece of New York City and Dominica Republic in Lawrenceville. Probably the only place in Georgia where you can order a chopped cheese and I highly recommend it.

Wow!!! That describes the food and service that I received! Everything was fresh and the owners were extremely kind and helpful. Go here if youre looking for anything related to Latino cooking/supplies, or if youre looking for a delicious meal. Seating is really limited (there are about 6 chairs at bar seating) so plan to take your food to go unless youre dining alone. This is a treat to have so close to our home and we hope they will be around forever!

Being from New York there are bodegas on many street corners and I’d go all the time after school. Since moving here to Georgia there haven’t been any that I’ve seen. When I found out about NYC bodega I was excited and went to check it out. DELICIOUS !!!!! Walking in felt like I was back home in New York in aBodega. John and Mary are friendly and makeyou feel like family there . So so happy they opened this place because I love the food and it taste like Dominican food back home.

Love this place. Service it’s outstanding and always willing to go the extra mile for me and my family. My daughter loves her “samwhich” as she calls it and we love our Sunday morning “Mangu”. It’s a little stop but made with a lot of heart! We really needed a Dominican spot in this side of town and we finally got it!

This is one of the best little shops around. They have awesome products and the best premade foods around. Their alcapurrias are on point and the relleno de papa are all well. Ox tails and Sancocho are killer as well. My favorite part is how kind and welcoming they are. Oh and they have arepas and jugo de guanabana. This really is an exceptional place.

I had the pleasure of patronizing NYC Bodega this past weekend. The establishment is clean and ALL staff are extremely friendly. The food was AMAZING and the prices reasonable. The smiles were so bright upon entering that it felt like home!!! The food tastes authentic and is exactly what we needed in the area. They will even be bringing the traditional Bacon, Egg and Cheese once the right rolls are located!!! My daughter and I were extremely pleased with our visit and can not wait to return!!!! The only thing missing was steak with onions but I will tell you that the stew chicken and empanadas were TOP NOTCH!! I will be trying the AUTHENTIC Sancocho sooner rather than later!! Thank you NYC Bodega and from a fellow New Yorker, welcome to Georgia!!! See you again soon!!

This place reminds me of a small bodega in NYC. They carry a very limited of Spanish products, but has a good selection of ready to eat cooked foods. My favorite is their Pastilillos which is also known as meat patties. They just open and I wish them well.

Their food is excellent, but the only reason I gave 2 stars is because the young lady who runs the register grabbed my empanadas with her bare hands and put them in the fryer and I didnt see her wash her hands before doing so. shortly after she wiped her nose with those same bare hands and still didnt wash them. thats very unsanitary, I see success in this business but if you guys keep allowing that practice then you wont be there very long. Sanitary is key to all food places I wont be back for a while due to that. WEAR GLOVES I DONT WANT TO SEE YOUR BARE HANDS TOUCH SOMETHING THAT I INTAKE!!!!!!!
