Dont particularly care for the one in League City, everytime I go, can hardly get help, if Somone come, they are not usually knowledgeable! Ill just stick with Lowes.

Most of their primers are out of stock. Staff is friendly and helpful. Every time I go though, something I’m looking for is usually low or out of stock. At least it’s clean and well laid out. Prices are to be expected.

Store is unorganized, staff are not knowledgeable in any department and the final straw was after searching the store for the better part of an hour we collected our list of items that were not in the correct departments (roughly $275-300.00). Only to stand patiently in line at one of the only two open registers….This one happened to be “Pro Checkout” which I have been loyally forever only to be told the when it was our turn that line was for Phone and Online orders only! We walked out! Never will we do business at League City or any other HomeDepot. Y’all should be ashamed at yourselves for letting your service and image forever be tarnished. Shame!

Prices of wood go up and quality keeps going down. I have been seeing the same pile of 2x4x10s for over a month. Isle 17 bay 03. Its getting ridiculous that I have to dig through the same pile of wood trying to find in wood that isnt bent. Im about to switch to Lowes or a lumber yard.

Im a nurse and have no business doing some home repairs, especially running a new water main line. (Just not in my skill level.) But a young lady named Kay saw me struggling in the plumbing section and asked if I was ok. I said no, and from there she directed me to what all I needed to do the job. I havent started yet, but she gave me some confidence I needed to do it. She gave me a few tips too. Best experience so far Ive ever had in Lowes or Home Depot..

Ive been shopping here a few years now and find their prices reasonable, stock and selections reasonable, but most of all I like this Home Depot because they rarely give me any trouble with returns. I’ve had a few issues and supervisors seem to just be there to justify the actions of subordinates.Overall I’ll definitely keep shopping here unless they get rid of cashiers and go solely self checkout. Shopping local creates local jobs and supports our local economy.

Chubby light completed about 54 Hispanic lady with black curly hair at customer service/return dept. was giving attitude towards me just because I was returning a plumbing item I purchased and it was labeled wrong,and had asked her if she could check their system if they had the right one.wonder how she got that job.smfh

My husband and I wanted our kitchen remodeled. We saw on-line Home Depot has a designer who will work with you to achieve the kitchen of your dreams. The designer we worked with gave us nightmares.After Home Depot gets your money they don’t want to hear from you again. There was a question I had on our cabinets. I tried calling the designer. I left 3 messages. I finally asked to talk to a manager. He told me she was with a customer and she would call me back. I asked for an estimate of when she would call. The manager told me the batteries were out in his crystal ball. I told him he worked at Home Depot and should get a set of new batteries. True story.An independent delivery company calls you to get a time to deliver the cabinets.You call Home Depot and tell them the cabinets were deliveredAn independent contractor calls and sets up a time that is convenient for them to install the cabinets.An independent contractor installs the countertop.A final slap in the face is that the countertop installed is not what we ordered. There is a 2” gap between the back of the stove and the wall.What was going to be my dream kitchen. The Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter feasts. The dreams of baking cookies with my grandchildren. Baking birthday cakes. It has been spoiled by Norma the designer and Simon the store manager.

I went to this store fir the first time ever on the 16th of September 2021 and it’ll be my last visit. I usually go to the one in Kemah but I was near by so I decided to shop there. I went in a little after 7:30 pm and left there after 8:40 pm having been completely ignored and not helped when I requested help twice. I’m a disabled veteran with a recent foot surgery and couldn’t stand or walk on my foot and searched the plumbing isle for what I need but couldn’t find most of the things I needed and although several employees passed by but offered no help. Eventually I went to the pain section and asked the gentleman there to call fir help which he did but 30 minutes later no one showed up so I went to the cashier and asked again to call for help which he did. Again 20 minutes later no one came to help so I started to leave and right there by the door at least 5 employees standing together talking and laugh, I mentioned I was dissatisfied with customer service and waited for a long time with no help, no one said a thing and I kept on walking outside.I’ve shopped at Home Depot in many states and dozens of cities and never had such an issue before.I ended up making it to Lowe’s before they closed and despite me coming in late they helped me until I got every piece I needed.

The Home Depot has got us by the !@#$%. All their merchandise come from China, which is taking away from American well being! And to top it all off...THEY NEVER HAVE ANYTHING YOURE LOOKING FOR!!! No one wants to help you. Their training is futile and you could be standing in the aisle with an overwhelmed look on your face and see that orange apron coming toward you, you hear angels sing, and the little b@#$%d walks right past you! I wish there was an American alternative!

Employees here dont seem to know what they are doing, and they never have anything in stock like it appears on the website. This is the only home Depot Ive been to where its like this, management definitely needs to be retired and replaced with someone new.

Norma in cabinets, Samantha in flooring, and Lydia at the service desk were awesome. Customer Service Exceptional Experience like Ive never seen.I found what I was looking for for months,set up appointments and was finished in 35 minutes. I recommend all 3 for a raise and a vacation. Looked up what I needed on line. Copied down the isle and bay number. Went right to it in the store, sweet ! Check out was fast and easy too.

Always my go to for a choice of things. But only had 1 type of hanging shoe racks. Thought there would be more. Looking for a certain thing works nicely too.

Frist time there after just moving here from South Florida and curbside picked up and the gentleman was very polite and great customer service and excellent customer service, 1000 times better than anyplace in Florida by far, brwat being here and my family are happy to here, glory goes to God.

Came here to buy a Duracell button battery because its cheaper than anywhere else. Rather than wasting shipping I figured Id just show up. Turns out batteries on the shelf (same batteries) are pricier and in order to get them Id have to do ship to store (different stock I guess) which I didnt have time to do. Ship to home was free too but was trying to be good about packaging. This would make perfect sense for online item or not in stock item but for a battery that Im literally looking at, its a gap in their system.

They always seem to have everything I need, friendly staff, and if I cant find the product I need...they locate another store and make sure its held for me. Great service!

Its one of the better home depots. The Lowes next door is pretty bad. This home depot has good people at customer service desk and the pro desk. The line moves quick in outdoor garden. I will say, the paint department is particularly slow. Overall, its a good home depot.

Very good service. I tried the order on the internet and deliver the order to your car service this time and it was perfectly done. All I had to do was drive there and park in the designated parking spot and a worker quickly brought my already paid for plumbing parts.

Everyone, from customer service, floor staff to checking out, courteous, helpful and great attitude. I had to take 2 trips in one day and both times, morning and afternoon, great experience versus the 1 trip to the Lowe’s down the road which, no good things to say.

Heaven help you if you ask for help at this store told them I could cut the wire myself if there was an issue. Waited around for twenty minutes had three people who never seem to work in that section call someone. Waited more said I would be more then happy to cut the wire myself and mind you this is he first time I’ve had an issue like this and plus you don’t even check people out at the store anymore! Who freaking works here and what are there jobs!?

Poor Customer Service........again. This time I was trying to buy a Werner ladder that I had shopped on Amazon. I went to the aisle and it was blocked off so an employee could move pallets of shingles around. I knew which ladder I was after, I only needed him to hand it to me. I understand why customers cant be near the forklift, it is unsafe. I tried to get his attention for awhile. He finally looked directly at me then turned his back on me and continued working on the pallets. I went to the front of the store and asked two employees for help. They told me it was a safety concern. I told them I was in a hurry could someone please bring me the Werner ladder I wanted to buy. She tried to radio the forklift guy but apparently she couldnt get him to help her. She told me that she could not go past the safety barrier either. So I left. Dont blame Amazon for the demise of brick and mortar sales. I will order the Werner ladder from Amazon and it will arrive in a week. It will cost me $7 less than buying it from Home Depot. For me this is the second time the store came ahead of the customer. I have bought many large and small things from this Home Depot since they opened including alot of appliances. Not anymore.

I found everything that qe needed and much more that we just want! Home Depot is still my first stop when were planning on doing improvement, maintenance and even replacing some plants! There are even online options to order and just pick things up without touring the entire store. Get your mask on your face and walk on through. Exercise through a good walk is possible in Home Depot.

Its difficult to find a staff member whenever you need help and when you finally catch someone they are not very friendly and act like they are too busy to help you. Besides that this location has a great variety of items and the prices are not as expensive as Lowes.

Dont do the curbside, I made the mistake and took over 30 min. To get it. The app works great as a guide to fine for a quick trip through the store.

I try to shop local Mom & Pop shops whenever I can, but when they dont have what I want or need, HD is where I go.

Had a customer service issue over a defective, three-week old $30 product and spent 30 mins arguing with management about it. I’m not inclined to shop somewhere I have to argue over a defective return. The store manager didn’t want to return it because she couldn’t resell it. Who resells defective products???Who risks losing a lifelong customer over $30?I called corporate and they were as careless as the store, but thanked me for being a “valued customer.” I laughed out loud as we got off the phone. I would give more stars, but corporate definitely reduced this to one.I’ll buy from Lowe’s and Amazon where I know they aren’t selling me junk and stand behind their products.

I need to start this review by first saying, that i have only been to this Home Depot one time. I have seen a lot of poor reviews for this store and i try not to let that kind if thing influence the way i think about a place. In my one experience, it was a good one. I drove to this store from Galveston, only because they had a product at this store,an Echo CS-590 Timber Wolf chainsaw, which was not stocked at the Galveston location. The young man who helped me was very nice and attempted to be as helpful as possible. And mind you, if i had no clue what i was looking for and/or needing additional things, his help and advice would have not been wrong... He knew what he was talking about. No complaint about the represent that helped me. The lack in ability to get out the store quickly due to lack of check out stations is, for me why i didnt rate 5 *s. overall good experience.

The store itself is nice and Im sure the majority of the employees are excellent as well.However, I went to pick up over $200 worth of equipment. Stood at customer service in the blinding sun for online pickup. No acknowledgement that Ill be helped soon. Some tall greasy mouth breathing employee hobbled by us with a mask under his chin. Then a tall, jacked oaf and his dependopotomus wife were strutting by proudly with no mask on at all, and they knew it, and were probably hoping someone would call them out. Employees didnt care. Gross place. Took my $250, left and cancelled the order.

Great selection of tools. Dont have to buy a complete set of ratchet wrenches or standard wrenches being they have individuals wrenches if you ever lose one from the set you have. Have always found what I set out to find. This is certainly my other toy store.

Never have enough cashiers, and you always have to go through self-service after walking the store trying to find an associate to get information on a product.

Great experience here! We bought $700 worth of trimming, checked out, then headed to the tool rental to rent a truck to take it home. Get to the tool rental area and their systems were down and were unable to rent any tools to anyone. Ovi came to us while we were trying to figure out how we were going to load up everything in a Hyundai Sonata and asked us what was going on. We explained to her we had already paid for everything and now we essentially had no way to get it home. She grabbed the manager of the lumber department (I didn’t catch his name), and they were able to work with us to get the supplies to our home. They charged us the $20 fee we would’ve paid for renting the truck and delivered the supplies to our home for us! Ovi truly saved the day and we’re extremely grateful for them going above and beyond in customer service. This is what makes a difference today, is going above and beyond to help your customers. Thank you so much, Home Depot team!

Terrible Service and Incompetent.We bought a John Deere mower from them not even a year ago. Mind you, it took 2 mowers since the first one they sold us had a dead battery. The second one has been blowing white smoke and the drive belt came off. We have the protection plan and the 3 year John Deere warranty. Home Depot can not seem to produce the Proof of Warranty for the John Deere claim. Ive tried getting this squared myself between the 2 companies and Home Depot inst being helpful. I have been hung up on 5 times, on hold for recessive periods for the manager. They refuse to help me. Such Garbage! John Deere says they wont deliver my mower back until Home Depot produces the required documentation. Not to mention, I have to now pay out of pocket for someone else to mow my yard during this.

Its a well kept store and the staff is helpful. It is annoying that sometimes only the self checkout is open. Fine if you have a couple of items but not great if you have several items.

This store has lots of stock but the staff that was there today, 10/27/2020 in customer service was not very helpful, they seemed more interested in their personal conversations than getting me some help, I came to ask for help in plumbing, they picked up the phone to page and I never heard any page, and no one arrived. I had to search for 10 minutes for someone who was familiar with the department.

Went to Home Depot for soil and plants. Found everything I was looking for. Lost some plants in the freeze, needed to replace and I am so ready for spring and warm weather.

My husband loves Home Depot. He can always find what he needs. I like the garden area. They have a lot to choose from to make your yard look great!

Do not buy washer appliances here. Me and my boyfriend bought a washer and a dryer here. Had it delivered this past Tuesday and the washer does not work. We found out that the washer they delivered was refurbished and that’s why it kept giving us an error message. This store and the LG company are playing the figure pointing game as to who we need to contact to replace the washer with one that works. We still have not been presented with a solutions. Never buying appliances from here again.

I ordered from store for delivery to my house and they did not tape up the bottom of the box and when picked up everything fell out including light bulbs which are not cheap when they are LED. It was just folded closed on top and bottom. I called the store and spoke to a lady and she seemed bothered by my call and rushed to get me off the phone. She said she would look into it but really made me feel like I was annoying her. I was very polite I will say she asked if anything was broken and I told her I would not know till the electrician came to install everything however bottom line is poor experience and customer service. I appreciate all the workers for working through this situation but that does not give reason for poor service.

Looked at web site to check on things I wanted to buy. At the store they were where they were supposed to be and I didnt have to beg to get my veterans discount. One store that gets things right!
