I really enjoyed their shaved ice. It was the fluffiest shaved ice that stays cool longer & delicious just as long. You could choose your own flavors or special. It takes a while to make but worth the little wait! I’m an ice chewer. It was a mini heaven for me. This location also has a drive thru and all the employees are extremely kind. I ordered a simple mango flavor which tasted extremely good, and my buddy ordered a birthday cake mixed with lemonade which was one of the best mixed flavors Ive ever had. They also have specialties like right now, fall flavors candy corn and caramel apple if you don’t know what to pick. They also have smoothies and smoothie bowls if not in the mood for the fluffiest snow you’ll ever have. I don’t usually have a favorite snow cone place, but Bahama Bucks is number one. I wasn’t so keen about the cleanliness of the location and their bathroom they could do with more cleaning. The tables were extremely sticky, trash was everywhere so and my friend and I had to eat outside. But if you are looking for a great snow cone place regardless of the upkeep of the location, I recommend you go here and have your fluffy snow outside or in your car.

So I don’t usually leave bad reviews because I am usually very lenient even when they mess up but today as I went to go order a paradise fruit with strawberries only with chocolate and caramel drizz, they were taking a little longer than usual and when we finally got our order, there was ALOT of whipped cream in it(which I did not order) and when I asked the girl why all the whipped cream, she said they didn’t have enough strawberries so they filled my cup with whipped cream to make it look like it was full of strawberries! Didn’t even try to cover up or anything! So upsetting, they could’ve told me while we waited or asked me if I wanted something else but instead they come and give me that.

Ive never been here when the place wasnt really busy - so be prepared to wait for a bit. Seating inside is pretty limited and it gets pretty noisy with all the people waiting in line. Its worth the wait, though. Shaved ice with so many flavor options is super yummy - especially if you get the ice cream in it as well. Prices are reasonable, too. Maybe the long lines are in part because there are so many options and its hard to choose!

I can sum it up in one word, YUM. The tigers blood picadilly was awesome. I wish they had more sugar free options.

Variety of flavors and good prices for the amount you receive. However, one day I went and ordered a regular size Princess and was charged like $5. Then another day I went and ordered a regular size birthday cake and was charged a different amount! I only come here when I get a gift card for donating blood because this is the closest location from where I live and because the prices change every day apparently!

8 people behind the counter and only 1 actually making snow cones. 15 mins to make 1. Could be a lot more efficient if they would actually assign positions. Never going back!

I always go thru drive thru. No problems, staff friendly love there shaved ice. Snow comes any flavor and you can add ice cream what’s not to like.

Be prepared to wait forever. We waited over 40 minutes for 4 snow cones. Half the kids working there are standing around doing nothing or just talking. Not worth the wait to pay $20 for snow cones.

Excellent dinner

My blue raspberry sno cone tasted like it was made w tap water or salt water. it had a really weird after taste, not nasty, just strange and not how a sno cone should be. other than that, fast service and friendly ppl.

Soooo, I would love to post how awesome my snowcone is but I am still waiting on it to be made just like the table behind us. Nearing the 45 minute mark it is getting ridiculous. 3 girls and 2 guys are working and we just now get the snowcones all at different times. We will def not be coming back!!

Great snow cones and shaved ice. But weve gone several times now and theres an unpredictable wait. In the drive thru with over 30 minute wait just 3 days ago with no explanation, no Im sorry for the wait, nothing. Very disappointing customer service.

Waited 17 min for a total of 3 drinks. Kids working there were literally throwing scoops of ice at each other in between taking time out of conversation to make the baby ice cones we ordered. So much as ice to when we ask for napkins for a second time, the napkins were soaked. Not a single person in the lobby to excuse the wait. Not sure what’s going on....

They amount of flavor used is very small compared to most other snowcone places. There is a lot of flavors to choose from, however.

Strawberry banana smoothie is great but ordered a small açaí bowl and if not only took 15 minutes for us to get it, it was absolutely disgusting. Felt like I was eating sand and the açaí was melted. The fruit inside of it was hard and also gross. 10/10 DO NOT recommend.

The boy at the window Thursday night was polite. That was about the end of the good service. If you pay for something, you expect to receive that. I ordered a regular strawberry colada snow cone and an açai berry breeze. The smoothie was fine. The cup the snow cone was in was 3/4 of the way full when it was given to me which would not have been accepted by me if I had been the one to personally receive it, but my fiancé didn’t bother to question it. The ice was chunky in some parts and melted in others upon receiving it. There wasn’t enough syrup and it wasn’t even the correct flavor. I wanted a snow cone, not to get ripped off. I didn’t even get a receipt to find out who the cashier was that night. I’ve been to Bahama Bucks in Texas City, Tomball, and Atascocita. Never have I received such poor service. The consistency of the snow cones were the same. There’s no excuse for the way things were conducted.

I wish the drive through line didnt take over 30min. It was nice when they came out and took everyones orders like chick-fil-a, but we are boxed in because of they way they made the curb behind the building not able to exit without going to the drive through window.

Went 06/19/21 around 12:30. Did not ask for for flat top but that’s what I received, we asked for cone when they asked what we wanted. They refused to remake it and gave a lie that the specific snow cone I ordered only comes in flat top. I’ve ordered this same snow cone over and over again and it’s always come in a cone. The person making the snow cone waved the girl at the window off like she didn’t want to remake it. The other 2 snow cones hardly had any syrup. Worst location, never coming back.

The customer service was absolutely horrible. There was young lady standing at the register, when I walked up to the register to place our order she threw something on the counter and very rudely walked away without explanation. We just stood there for 5 mins until finally one of the other girls took our order. I also asked what time they closed as it was about 8 when we placed our order. I was told they do not close until 9. We went outside to wait for our order and they locked the doors at about 830, refusing to take an order from a person in the drive through. Also, y’all need a trash can outside. We were locked out and had no where to dispose of our trash. We will not be back to this location.

Bahama Bucks is a great place. The employees are always so nice. The flavors a good and its nice to be able to get a snowcone any time of the year!

Place is cool but service sucks, we are not in a coin shortage. Next time just give me my change and Ill decide weather I want to give any of it to you.

The snow cones are good, but overpriced. The service is also terrible, usually very slow. Its not uncommon to wait over 30 minutes when its not very busy, forget about going if it looks busy.

Ive been here in the drive thru for about 30 minutes on my lunch break and I am NOT happy. The line is not moving and a few days ago I came in and waited 20 minutes for a small pineapple sno cone. Im not one to complain I have somewhat decent patience but I saw around 4-6 people in there and it really makes me wonder what the hell everyone is doing . Quality wise theyre delicious but if i was able to be in and out alot sooner Id find myself visiting this place alot more often.

I have been to Bahamas bucks before and didnt receive the best snow cones because it was good but not enough syrup and mainly just ice towards the bottom even though theyre ice is what makes them so good. Although I believe it was due to the lack of employees and how busy it was.**Update: I went today for another try and they gave me 2 snowcones with the perfect amount of syrup throughout. The service was great a little slower than most drive thrus, but all in all. I would definitely recommend Bahama Bucks anyone for a craving for some luscious snowcones. 🍧😋

First time customer went there and ordered 2 items..my snowcone seemed more like an icy, or a slushy, and I ordered also a pina colada smoothie and found a hair on the drink.. posting a pic with the hair on the straw, I didnt mind the 30minutes waiting in line,just bad experience.

Bahama Bucks has quite a few options, but I stick with the traditional flavors. Great snowballs. You need to update your hours on Google Maps. It says 10:30pm on Saturdays, but it is actually 10pm. I came in at 9:55pm, and was asked to leave at 10:15, claiming that they close at 10pm.

Line takes for-ever!!... They just cant seem to take an order correctly at the order station/person, but will usually fix it at the window. Overall tasty flavors and friendly folks. Just seems like they need a better ordering system. Starbucks prices!! Cmon its just sugar water on ice!

I wish I could give 0 stars 🥴 we’ve been waiting for over an hour for 1 small sno-cone 😳 We have continually witnessed the employees wiping their noses with their hands, then continue working without washing their hands or putting gloves on. The boy working the drive thru line was wearing gloves but he was running his fingers through his hair with his gloves on 🤢 This place is very unsanitary. One of the girls took the trash out, brought the trash can back, then made a customer’s order without washing her hands! 🤮 Probably need to call the health department on this place 🤢

So the first time I came they were close Google said open at 12 and then 1 girl came and was rude to say ummmm we open at 3 so rude the way she said it, next time i went at 8:40 and they were already closed when clearly they close at 9, and Last time I order a pickadily and had harly pickles and no chili flavor

It was a horrible experience that young lady in the window was being rude to my friend talking over him when he was explaining the order. She gave us one of our orders and was talking to her coworker for like 8 mins and has the nerve to say WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR. Really we are waiting for our rest of our order and she finally gave us an order my son bomp pop ice cream and it was melted horrible never coming here again.

The drinks were good but at 5pm the drive thru was packed so my fiance and I went inside. Where we waited 50 minutes for our beverages.

Showed up at 12:20 and the doors were locked what a shame.

I love snow cones they have soooo many flavors, and ice chips so soft I thought I was eating snow.

Terrible location. They never answer the phone and my order is always wrong.

This is the second time in the past couple of weeks that they have been completely under staff. I dont know how the scheduling works but at this point its outrages. It looks like an employer who wasnt on duty had to come in help, which helped a lot, but she should have at least been scheduled and not have to come in that late. I know that not everyone can work right now but I feel like it needs to get better before summer comes around. Just writing this because my kids love coming here but its not worth that long of a wait.

You might want change time on the door. Voicemail says 3-9 but times on the door says 12.

Super awesome customer service!My reason for the 2 stars is because my last 3 visits, Ive ordered a piccadilly and berlie get any pickle slices. Each time Ive visited they are swamped and I understand its overwhelming, but if Im paying full price for my order I would assume I should get what I pay for. Other than that, the staff is very polite and friendly.

This place is pretty average. The concept is cool but my sno- cone was extremely bland and had zero flavor as were the ones of many of my family members. The girl at the register wasn’t super friendly and for just ice and flavored syrup 4 dollars seems like a lot. It is nothing special and not really worth going since the taste isnt all that exceptional. After eating about 1/4 of my passion fruit one I ended up throwing it away because it simply had zero flavor.

Drove 30 minutes away just to find out they open at 3pm not 2pm like their website says, should really update it especially if you can update your phone lines to tell you

Love Bahama Bucks! Great customer service in the drive thru. Reason for 4 stars because Ive visited a few times recently and theyre out of flavors or ingredients to make things from the menu. Its a bummer when you make the drive there to not be able to get what want because theyre all out. Wish they were better prepared.

Just went to Bahama Bucks to cap off our date night. We drove 40 minutes to this area because I’m pregnant and have been craving a good shaved ice. Google said they closed at 10:30 and their website says 10. We arrived at 9:32 lights were on, so we drove around to the drive through and waited. After no answer, we drove back around to the front, lights were off, and they were closed. We checked the time on the door, and it appears they re-wrote the hours to 9:30 in Sharpie. I’m very upset that we drove so far just for them to be closed with no way for someone to know since this info. Isn’t updated anywhere online. Very disappointing from chain business.

I honestly have not had a shaved ice this good in a long time. they mix up what ever flavors you like and even have some creative ones there just in case if you want to change things up

I love this place! The first time I got my hands on a snowcone from here, i was in love. They have a amazing variety of flavours, the ones I have gotten were delicious! Have been to this place ever since. ^^

Outside, you are stuck in League City, Texas but when you step through that door you are instantly transported to the Bahamas. The whole place is decorated with tropical themed objects from bamboo wood paneling to surfboards on the wall. But then you look at their menu and you realize why you came here. They have every snow cone flavor ever made and then some. It took me a full 5 minutes just to read all of it. They have your typical flavors, strawberry, wedding cake, root beer; they have the atypical, Jamaican Rum, Margarita; they have all natural flavors, pineapple, banana; they have flavors dedicated just to being sour. So now youve picked your three flavors, yes three, and you have to pick your add-ons. Thankfully it isnt quite as expansive as their flavors but it does boast a good variety, they have different kind of sprinkles, creme/milk, chili salt for those look to add some heat to their ice, and they even have an option that lets you put ice cream underneath all your flavored ice. Now I dont know how many of those you can put in, but your masterpiece is sure to satisfy any craving you have. But be warned their sizes run a little big, I got a small which ended up being about six inches tall. They do have some of their sizes on the counter for you to look at, but you need to factor in how tall they pile the ice on, which is a little extreme in my opinion. But by far the best part of their snow cones is that the flavor goes all the way through. Im not sure how they do it but it isnt just a lot of flavor on top and regular ice on the bottom, the flavor is equal and very much there all the way through your treat. Now Ive told you about the snow cones but they do have more than just that. It is all still cold drinks/treats, but it is nice if you want to drink something instead of eat it. Their food is top notch and so is the service, I walked in and asked, How does this work? and the lady explained everything to me clearly and with a smile. Even have a drive through if your in a hurry, but even if you want to sit down and enjoy a cold treat it is still very quick.

Way better than a snow cone. Ask for cream.

This place has the BEST sno-cones EVER!!! The ice is extremely soft but it doesnt melt quickly. You can even sample choices to help you decide on a flavor (They have TONS of flavors and combinations). Very fun atmosphere and cool staff. I have absolutely no complaints. This is our new summer go-to

This place was wonderful when they opened. The last 5 times I have been my order was wrong and I was charged for things twice.

The girl at the register was EXTREMELY slow. If she was new, she needed more supervision. I asked for a new punch card and she gave me one and didnt punch it. I asked her if she was going to punch for what I ordered and she only punched ONE TIME for the TWO shaved ice cups I ordered. It definitely seemed like she needs more training if I have to ask her if she is doing her job correctly. Other than that, the overpriced shaved ice was delicious.

Last 3 times over ~3 months, the store has been out of most and the last time all of their thin ice flavors. On prior occasions quality and service have been inconsistent. I will not be returning.

Fast service and great atmosphere but the taste of the shaved ice that I ordered was very bland and had a bad aftertaste. The prices are a little high for just ice and flavoring. The ice was light and thin and melted quickly which is a good thing compared to other shaved ice places I have visited. I cant see myself even wanting to go back to try a different flavor though.

Great selection of flavors. Ice is shaved perfect melts in your mouth kinda like m&Ms. We shall be returning. Try the with coconut with cream and the ice cream scoop. Its.the best.

Whenever Ive gone (which is often) the place is always clean. The staff is polite and courteous. They have even opened an online ordering system. The ice is cool, refreshing and soft enough to feel like snow.

No flavor over priced deer park is better

It’s a snow cone shop so don’t ruin your experience by expecting gourmet beverages here. Everyone deserves an umbrella in their drink at some point throughout life. And if nothing else you get a spoon that changes colors to remember your trip by. Life is too short to not have a snow cone in this horrific heat and humidity.

I took my 4 yr old here to get a tigers blood snowcone. I handed it to him and he said it was yucky. I tasted it and got a huge hit of cinnamon lol! I called and it was replaced... by the way, Thank you so much BB... and I was informed there tigers blood flavor consists of half strawberry and half cinnamon. Its an interesting flavor. Like rhe taste of fall in your mouth!!
