Huge ACE with a friendly and helpful staff! I will drive 30 minutes to this location because their inventory is usually fantastic! I bought a bunch of great wind chimes here. Everyone loved them! I’ll be going back for more soon.

I have been here several times for odds and ends while doing home improvement projects. Every single time I have left impressed with the excellent customer service. It’s a small store but they’ve got quite the selection when you’ve forgotten something and need to find a random screw, etc. Someone usually greets you at the entrance to see what they can help you find and if not, someone will swing to help by if you’re looking lost. Haven’t had to ask once for help. Love this place.

This is a great place to shop for your local hardware needs. The service is 10X what you would find at the bigger box stores. I have always been amazed at the above and beyond attention I get when I walk into the store. Professional and fast service you can count on. The ownership is great and the employees are trained well.

Clueless staff, it took 4 people to find the price on an item and after all that wasted time they still got the price wrong. Although it is conveniently located on my way home, I will not shop there again.

Durning the recent freeze the owner of the store went above and beyond to open the store. He recognized the importance of keeping our power plant running and let me get supplies needed to ensure we could. Can’t thank him enough.

I was very happy with customer service and the quality of the product, but their merchandise is expensive. For a Benjamin Moore paint sample can, I paid 10.99 a can, where Friendswood Ace Hardware sells it for 6.99. To me, that is too big a difference. Friendswood will have my business due to better prices.

As always, ACE has it all. Skip the big box stores, and get what you need in the neighborhood!

If I could give them negative stars I would. We recently purchased some items and ended up not needing them. When we went back to return them, we were told we could not return the items as they are considered hurricane/cold weather items and can not be returned. We were not told this when we bought them and it is not posted in the store. To me it is shady business when you put a policy on your receipt about a return with out letting your customers know the policy. We will not be going back! I suggest you think twice before using them!

I called looking for something and they took the time to find it for me. At the store they were attentive and helpful but not pushy. The store is small but very clean and nicely stocked.

We went to 4 other stores (not ace) to find one specialty hinge, and we could not find it anywhere. We came here and they also did not have the hinge, but the guy helping us gave us an alternative solution that would work perfect. He saved us from having to wait on a repair to order online, and he was super helpful and knowledgeable.

Never been to the location.Called first to see if they had a particular Weber grill. In stock, same price as anywhere else.Rolled up, greeted when I walked in the door.Immediately led me to the product, they carried it up for check out and to my truck.Great customer service, highly recommend.

They are my “Go to” store when I don’t have the patience for the big box stores.

Its a nice small and cozy location that meets most hardware needs but one of the older employees was rather rude and not very helpful when i was searching for help. He explained the obvious and was very sarcastic. I was under the assumption that ace hardware did rentals but i learned that it depends on the location. Would have liked to have learned that in a much nicer way. One of the younger employees had to apologize for the mans rude tone. Probably wont do business here in the future.

Went in for something their website said was available for in store pickup. The only one they had was being used as a display so the manager said I couldn’t buy it. Apparently he said it was showing 4 available but he hasn’t done inventory so that’s why it was off. I’d call before you drive up there even if it shows in stock.

Needed two keys quick so I stopped in. Such nice people and the service was excellent. Met the extremely kind owner as well. Will definitely be going back.

Absolutely NO efforts from ANY of the staff of 6 people I encountered to social distance even slightly, and NONE of them wore masks. When asked about this they said masks and distancing precautions are “personal preference.” That means THEY MAKE ABSOLUTELY NO EFFORT TO PROTECT THEIR CUSTOMERS or try to avoid spreading COVID-19. They sell masks and hand sanitizer, so they want your money to profit from this pandemic—they just don’t care if they get you sick. It was disgusting!
