A very good shop that has worked on 4 different bikes for me. From complete tweeking on my old 650 Yamaha, too brakes on my vintage 83 goldwing, to oil change on my 03 r1100 bmw. Now, new wheels on my 10 Honda st1300, thats a shop.

First experience with EBR today. Josh was super helpful and got me the parts I needed to get my kid back riding same day. Solid dude. Highly recommend.

Had a flat tire off the interstate about five miles away on a Monday when most bike shops are closed. Pulled bike into a parking lot and ran into a sympathetic soul who offered me a ride to get the tire repaired.I took the front wheel off the bike and called EBR. Said they were very busy but seeing I was broke down was told to come on down and they would work it in.Went a short distance to a restaurant to buy my ride and myself a meal. Before we were finished the owner called and said it was ready.He showed me where the tube was folded over and pinched from a new tire that was mounted at a nearby store a few weeks prior.Was very impressed with their facility. They have many customers from outside Texas and are very knowledgeable. Am restoring an older Katana and will have them rebuild and set up my suspension components.

Great shop. Yes they are very busy but they keep you informed while your bike is being worked on. I would highly recommend this shop for their prices and professional attitude.

OMG…. This place was AWESOME! D Yami is the mechanic that worked on my bike, he is the bomb. When it comes to my babies(bikes) I trust no one… D Yami is a Perfectionist! He is honest, very very very thorough and goes above and beyond to get the job done right. This place treats everyone’s bike like it’s their bike. Great communication, honesty and great work, I could not ask for more. I will recommend this place to anyone that needs honest good work done on their bikes.

Not happy with service.. dropped my bike off here... had an intermittent electrical issue, turns out the stator was bad I got repaired elsewhere within 3 days.. The guy Josh had my bike over a month I would call, never get a call back I eventually had to leave a msg saying I would get the police involved bc I felt as though they were gonna keep my bike... Totally unprofessional shop here

These are some of the best people around in the south Texas area. They killed it on the engine and suspension work on my Kx 450 2019. They are extremely knowledgeable, pretty shocked how fast they got everything done.

Worst customer experience ever. I enjoyed doing business here when Katie was on staff but ever since she left the place has gone down the drain. I would rather drive 30 min away to another bike shop than give them my business anymore.

I don’t normally do reviews however after reading some of the negative reviews I had to respond. Now I will say I’ve never sent foot in this place in person so any interactions about desk or counter experience however I have sent them an engine and here’s how it went. I sent the engine in before Lorettas mistake on my part I was hoping to get the engine back before then but that didn’t work out. However literally the day they got back josh called me and not only worked on the engine but also made sure it was shipped out immediately. Fast forward a month keep in mind I already have my engine and they already have my money josh emails me asking if I got the jetting correct etc. so those saying he was rude or didint care I don’t know that’s not the experience I’ve had. My son isn’t a team rider or anything just a normal paying customer and they treated me great I will be back thanks guys

My first time shopping at EBR Performance. I dropped off my shocks to be rebuilt on Monday hoping but not expecting to get them back on Friday. They called Friday afternoon and stayed late so I could get up there. Excellent service and very knowledgeable. I will definitely be back.

This guy does amazing engine and suspension work. I couldn’t have completed my bike build without them. Due to COVID-19 the wait time might be longer than you hope but that is to be expected I guess. Josh is extremely smart about everything to do with motorcycles. He did a lot of work on my bike.

Horrible company to deal with. I had a set of wheels dropped off to get new tires mounted. Was told they would be done that very day. Never received a call on them being done, but the gentlemen wanted to argue saying that he did call. How ironic that I have no voicemail from the shop or a missed call saying EBR( I have caller is on my cell). I decide to pick them up on Saturday just before noon and I was told they are closed. Even though the shop doors are open and people inside. The gentlemen would not give me my wheels even though I paid for them in advance. He said the lobby was closed and he had no way to get in there. It seems odd to me because how would you open the garage doors? I will never do business with this place again. Now I understand why there review rating is sub pair with a 3. Stay away from this place.

Horrible experience overall with customer interaction. Katie was very rude and dismissive while not seeming interested in earning a potential long term customer. Expressed my grievance with the owner allegedly that I’m seeing now from the reviews. He seemed to make excuses and not take a honest complaint seriously. While my service request was small and my grievance was a tip on how I felt after my first experience I feel a little more attention and less attitude from a manager/owner was deserved. I would not recommend this place based on this experience.

Called ahead and asked for a specific oil which they said they do have after speaking to a rude girl. When I get there they DO NOT have what I specifically asked for. Nice work guys. Never again!!

Took a couple bikes here to get repaired some years ago. Couldnt get them to answer, had to drive up to location a bunch of times and the person who knew was never there. Months of this. They failed to my parts back to me and acted as if I was inconveniencing them for politely requesting info on my bike after months. I tell people to avoid them at all costs and I ride everyday so I tell lots of people. Use at youre own risk!

This used to be a decent shop. They were the only ones that I would let touch my bike. Today, 3/15/2016 changed all of that! I had them change my front tire back in November 2015. They balanced it, installed it back on the bike, and all was well. On 3/9/2016 the tire started to shake a little, so I paid $40.00 to have it re-balanced. I noticed that the weights fell off so I took it back, to have weights re-installed and the tire re-balanced. The technician took my bike in the back, and within 3 minutes, had the bike back in front for me to take and leave. The girl at the counter told me, well if it still shakes just bring it back! Really??? This is the service you offer?? I will never come back. There are too many other shops that will treat you right.

Got my crf450r and crf150r serviced there. About a month ago. Had a clutch basket installed and valves checked. Got home with the bike and was going through it and found out that they completely forgot to put oil back into the bike after the service. So i called and spoke to one of the techs (a lady, not sure of her name) and all she said was, was the oil fill cap on tight? Which it was. And “oops”. Never mind the pesky little fact they already charged me for the oil. Her response was “maybe he just leaned the bike on its side to work on it”. Sounded really fishy I asked her what they were going to do to remedy this, since i live over an hour away. She had no clue. Told me she would have someone call me. Never did. So expect this kind of service from this place when you go. It might be good, or it might just blow your engine.

2019 yz450f - I scheduled an appointment for dyno tune with Josh 10 days out, since I’m coming from 3+ hours away. Called the day before to confirm. Showed up and they checked the bike in at 8:50am. They said it would be done by 1:00. They called at 12:30 to let me know it was done. I read the other reviews and had my reservations, but planned ahead anyway. Josh and Katie were great and everything was as promised. Great experience.

They work on American and metric bikes. Full service. Even have a dyno. Knowledgeable and helpful. You will have to be patient because they are always busy. Too busy to listen to the customer, but not too busy to feed this knowledgeable customer a line of BS. I let them diag my 2014 FXDB. They did so correctly and quickly. When I questioned the estimate Josh, who will tell you he doesnt work on HD, tried to tell me that replacing the voltage regulator/rectifier is more complicated than it seems. I assured him that it was 2 electrical connections and 2 screws. He tried to pass himself off as knowing what he was talking about when he clearly didnt. I quit discussing the point because I dont argue when I know Im right. They seem to do good work but the customer service sucks.

Josh seems to be to busy every time I talked to him I felt rushed.He did not want to answer some of my questions.

Has one good employee there Katy(Katie) other than that the shop sucks. The managers(josh) attitude blows. Called and asked for some help and he just plain didn’t have the time to help out a customer(who has been coming here since it was x-it cycle) and completely blew me off told me I would have to wait for Katy to come back to work the next day without putting any effort towards looking for my part. Second off I have had my forks rebuilt here for them not to be done in time and to blow out on the first ride so I Decided to do the seals myself and found that they didn’t even change the freaking oil in my forks it looked chalky and smelled like rotten fish. Decided to give them another try and let put some new tires on my rims got it back with a popped tube and a bent rim that they couldn’t even point out to me. Simply the worst shop in the area needs to decide between being a “sponsor only” shop a “customer only” shop or open 2 shops to actually treat his customers properly and have their jobs done on a timely manner. Would highly recommend looking around before deciding to let them work on your stuff.

GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!! Worst shop ever. They will have you bike for ages and then charge you like crazy. A couple months later I had to fix the front break master cylinder they replaced at my cost. I took my bike to Iron Mikes instead. Even though they are not a sport bike shop they do better work on my GsxR. Had Iron Mike change my clutch for a good price and it was done really quick. Also had to warranty the battery EBR replaced. Save yourself time and money and dont go to EBR Performance. THEY SUCK!

Fast and efficient, especially if you need to order items.

Very poor customer service. Waited around for 30 minutes for someone to deal with only for Josh to determine it was to close to closing in order to finalize a deal. Disappointing.

I strongly reccommend READ all of these reviews before considering to do business with EBR Performance. I live in west Texas, and we do not have many motor shops for dirtbike performance. I saw EBR and Altus Motorsports had joined to create a 250 east Supercross team and thought this would be a good place in Texas to send my 12 year old son’s KX85 motor to be built. We do not race. We are avid trail riders who like our equipment to run its best. I spoke with Katie Young about what we needed. She told me to speak with Josh Rodgers, the owner, about what we wanted. When I spoke to Josh, he didn’t answer much except to send the motor in a cooler; and once he looked at the motor, he would call me to discuss options. I sent the motor via UPS with insurance. They received it two days later. A week past without a call. A second week past, and I called. Katie told me they were busy and I should receive a call within three more days. After the three days I called to ask about it, but got no answer. At this point, I was nervous about my property being there. I attempted to reach them for a week with multiple calls, emails, and voice messages. NO RESPONSE! I know at the end of week four I needed to go to League City to get my property. I drove ten+ hours one direction to be at EBR Performance Friday morning at 10:00AM. I saw my cooler behind the counter. Katie was on the phone. It was amazing to see their phone was working! She hung up and greeted me with, “Yea?”. I introduced myself and told her I would like to pick up my motor. She said, “Just a sec.”, and she went to into the service area. At this point the tension was high, and I decided to get my motor from behind the counter and put it in my trunk. This was a feeling of relief to know I had it back without this nonsense needing to continue! I couple of key things learned:1) They DO NOT care to serve customers.2) They DO Not have integrity for good business. Simple communication is essential for trustworthy relationship.PLEASE DO NOT willingly send your equipment to this business. EBR Performance was a second rate facility, once I came there in person. They DO NOT live up to their internet presence and Supercross team persona. I hope this helps others to not make the same mistake I did. I ended up taking the motor to another Texas motor shop where I was greeted, shown the facility, and told they would not be happy until I was happy. This is how service is supposed to be performed. I found out wbat the EBR stands for EVERYTHING BUT READY............THIS PLACE SUCKS...... I have 2 motorcycles and should have learned from the first one I brought there. A 2 hour job took them 2 days to just put on headlights. Then brought my other bike there Friday for them to lower it and change the kick stand, called Tuesday and they said it was almost done. Thursday after work I went by and they never touched my bike and said well we should have it ready by Saturday. Im still wondering how I came back home with parts that should have been attached. BEST ADVICE..... do it yourself or pay extra to have it done somewhere else. A good friend of mine had his bike there for 2 weeks to just change out a stator........

WORST PLACE EVER! Took my 07 yamaha to put a power commander and 2 new tires. they told me it was going to be ready withing 3 days I called withing that time and they told me they that they finishing another bike and then theyll start working on mine. Then after 2 weeks I kept calling them and never got a response till like the 3rd time I called, and they told me the spark plugs needed to be changed. 3rd week past by and they never called back so on 4th week I called and they had not yet touched my bike, then I told them to cancel everything amd I was going to pick it up, when I got there they seemed very confused and didnt give me any helpful info of my bike. They handed me they keys to take the bike and it wouldnt even start. I complained and they told me that o had brought it in working poorly which is dumb because I drove 30 minutes to just take it there. So I had to leave it there for another 2 weeks just for them to change the spark plugs. So basically I took my bike for 1 month and a half for them to change the spark plugs. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. SONT GO THERE

HORRIBLE service experience...!!!Took them ONE MONTH just to test/replace my Harley’s Regulator/Rectifier & change the Oil & Filter..!!! Wouldn’t call me back - had to either call them or go there for updates myself... *****NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN..!!!

Had my bike for 9 weeks after they said they would have it out by the end of the week that i brought it. Lame excuses, lies, mysterious disconnections on the phone. Place is run by children and it shows. Frank used to take care of me there until he passed away a while back. He would roll over in his grave if he knew how i was treated. I picked up my bike in pieces without an explanation or apology from anyone. To add insult to injury, my bike was posted on a mechanics Facebook page as if they had worked on it. I suggest you take your bike ANYWHERE but here. Anyone who disputes this review is a bold faced fkn liar.

Horrible communication!!! They have had my bike for a month and told me numerous times that they would call me and then don’t. I have had to make all contact with them and still don’t have a diagnosis for what’s wrong with my bike. The lady answering the phone has no clue about what’s going on in that shop.

The girl in the front is very rude, every time we have called to look for a certain item she will tell us to call back, and when we do she ignores the calls, or just still hasn’t looked. We were quoted a certain amount of time for our work to be complete, and every time we call it’s another excuse to why it’s not finished.

The parts department and service departments are very diverse in knowledge and abilities. Serving customers involved in Championship Level MX, Drag Bikes, Custom Builds......and your every day riding service needs for your cruiser or transportation bike. Even a dyno room to do baseline performance profiles right on up to full on race tuning and programming. No downloaded maps, each map is unique to the bike being tuned. Your tuning data can be retained for future testing and performance upgrades. Not cheap on the wallet, but if you want to get that wheel ahead of your competitor....come to EBR

Husband purchased a tire over thanksgiving holiday amd went in friday as they told him to just dor the mechanic didnt show up, so they told him to come back Monday after work. Low and behold they STILL refused to put his tire on because he didnt have his receipt, however was told it would be in their system and no need to bring it back with him! Worst customer service ever. Will not be going back

Sold me a bike, went smooth. The bike had a slight issue with a leak but they fixed it up for me in no time free of charge

I took several bikes into the shop for simple things,BikeA: needed a re-jet for the carburetor, took them 3 months to get the bike back to me and the bike was not running at the end of the three months.Bike B: install handle bars and re dyno- they called me and said the handlebars wouldnt work and i needed new throttle cable and i had to but some other parts... turns out when i got up there they had the handlebars on upside down. after correcting that problem when they dyno-ed my bike they literally molested the plastic screws on my power commander fuel controller.... then broke the intercooler and gave the bike back to me with the HANDLEBARS LOOSE.... glad i didnt ride the bike off, when i realized they were loose i had had enough of their shop... they charged me $600 and did more than $1200 in damage to my bike..... i rarely spoke with their owner who would ignore me in the store, walk off when i would hollar his name, or run to the back room very quickly when he would see me. the children that ran the front desk were embarrassed for him and didnt help at all. i feel bad i ever took my bikes here it cost me more money than it was ever worth and would strongly recommend to stay away from this place .....DO NOT TAKE YOUR BIKE HERE!!!!!!

The guys at X-It / EBR Rock...we have been using them for a couple of years now and they treat us right. They know their stuff when it comes to bikes and they dont knock your head off when U reach for your check book.

Took almost almost over a month to machine my cases for my bike stripped out two head bolts then trys to charge 180$ to assemble the motor but I have to take it back apart to re thread the head bolts they stripped out dont say its gonna be done one day an then extend it a week worst customer service ever!!!
