I walked in with zero knowledge of guns and informed them that I was in the market for home protection. They were more welcoming than I expected. They discussed the steps I needed to take for proper gun ownership and qualified my wants with my needs. Bruce was very knowledgeable and willing to answer all my questions. I was extremely intimidated but Bruce and Dee made me feel much more comfortable than I had hoped. Although I havent made a purchase there yet, I am sure this is the place I will use for this next and all other future purchases.

One of the best family shops in Southwest Florida. My son and I have both purchased guns from Bruce and Dee and have been very pleased. Good people running a good store. Very helpful. Good prices for an actual brick and mortar store, especially considering they have to pay store bills. They surprisingly compete very well with the big name stores, IMHO. FYI, Im not related, just an appreciative consumer.

I was referred to Gunsmoke and Lead by a family friend, and honestly received better customer service than I ever could have expected. Bruce and Dee are very knowledgeable, and will bend over backwards to serve you as a customer. I was moving from FL to CA shortly after shopping there and they went above and beyond to help me find firearms that suited both mine and my wifes needs and that were CA compliant... I strongly recommend them, and will gladly shop there again when Im back in FL.

This is the best gun shop in the fort Myers area, Honest and professional. They have a great selection and treat you the old fashion way. Like a valued friend, not just a customer. If they dont have it I will bet they will try to get it for you. If you need transfers this is the place and while your there pick up some ammo or other accessories. We all need to support these mom and pop businesses,so we dont have to go to big box stores where the guy behind the counter sold shoes last week. Like I said they are the best

Great place to buy guns and ammo. I bought my first gun today at gun smoke and lead and the owners of the store made it a great first experience. They have great knowledge and they are very friendly.

Nice little gun store. The guy behind the counter was friendly. He had a good sense for when to engage our group and when to let us browse. I thought some of his pricing was high, but Im spoiled by Buds Guns.

The GSL folks are the best. These days good customer service is a thing of the past, but at GSL its like that old TV show Cheers, once a customer theyll always know your name and theyll bend over backwards to serve. If they dont have it, theyll get it for you quick, if they dont have an answer to your gun question, theyll find out and let you know. And they have the absolute lowest transfer fee in SWFL. GSL is one of SWFL best kept secret right now, but when it is discovered you might need an appointment. Stop by and say Hi to Bruce and Dee they are great folks
