We was driving and the nut fell off our tow hitch and we had to leave our trailer behind. This man went out of his way to help us get another one so we got our trailer back home safe. Saved us an hour trip. Thank you so much! God Bless.

I wouldn’t stop here again if I was on fire and it was the only water source nearby. The owner, Glenn, is nothing but a liar and a poor excuse for a human being. My car overheated on my way to work, so I pulled over at this store, on the side of the parking lot out of the way. My fiancé came to pick me up and take me to work, and went in and asked the store owner if it would be okay to leave my car in the gravel until the roadside assistance arrived to take it home. He said that was fine as long as it was out of the way, and my fiancé told him it was in the gravel area and he said okay. I left my car to head to work around 5:25 p.m.I received a phone call from roadside assistance saying they were unable to locate my car. After hours of searching it was nowhere to be found so I called the police and they reported it as stolen around 4:30 a.m.When the store opened, I gave the owner of the store a call to see if he may have known what had happened and he said that roadside assistance arrived to pick up my car at 7:30, and he told me the name of the towing company that had taken it. So I called the tow company to ask why they took it to their lot and not to my house, and they said they couldn’t locate the roadside assistance ticket that they would give me a call back after they looked into it.Two hours later I received a phone call back saying that the owner of the store, Glenn, had called to have the car removed and had signed the tow bill himself. The dispatcher told me that call was received around 6:30 p.m., only one hour after I had left the car and told the owner roadside assistance would be on their way. When I called to ask the owner why he lied to me he was rude and kept speaking over every question I asked, and said that I “abandoned” my car and it was in front of a fence gate. He didn’t wait until the store was closing to call a tow company, nor was my car left overnight. He called right after we left, when he had just said that it was okay to leave my car there for roadside assistance to come pick it up. We told him where it was pulled and he never said it was in the way of the fence opening, as there were other cars parked there. So in addition to my roadside assistance fee, I had to pay $260 to get my car back because he had it towed before my roadside assistance tow arrived.Moral of the story is the owners of this store are terrible human beings, and don’t deserve hard earned money from kind individuals. If I could give a 0 star review I would. Spend your money elsewhere. They also knowingly sell out of date items because the owner is such a tightwad, he’s afraid to lose a penny. I’ve seen several things in the store that were out of date, and even when brought to attention, it seemed as if no one cares. No one went to the shelf to remove the out of date items, just said okay. I normally wouldn’t put someone on blast that way, because accidents happen, but given the circumstances, I have no other reason to believe than they do this on purpose because they have no morals or respect for others. Please share this with everyone you know so that everyone knows what kind of man the owner of this store is.

Always on the stop by list on the way home list when out riding the motorcycles. Seems to be a favorite place for NCSHP to hang out and attempt to catch someone doing 55 MPH in a 50 MPH zone when coming off the mountain.
