I had the pleasure of being helped by Abbie and Natasha! They were both pleasant and very helpful. Abbie helped me understand my policy more and even contacted the insurance company for me so that I didn’t have to call and figure it out. I will be returning. They treated me and my children like GOLD I will be back.
I visited this store to replace my lenses which was fully covered by my insurance, during the process I was told by the sales lady that my frame’s due as well, so I decided to get both frame and lenses replaced. However, after another week or so I got a call back from the store asking me to pay for my frame. Which was really unacceptable since I was told it’s fully covered by my insurance. I wouldn’t have gotten my frames at the first place if I had to pay form my own pocket. Now they’ve asked me to return my frame which is inconvenient to the core since I can’t do much without my glasses. Vision work really needs to sort this out for their customers. Me paying from my pocket for your mistake doesn’t make any sense as I am already paying every month for my insurance.

We got out of our way to go to this Visionworks location. Every person who works there is friendly and helpful. They work hard to ensure that the glasses ordered are the correct ones, and that they fit properly once they come in. Ive been to the other location in Highland Village, and still choose to come here, due to the excellent customer service and competency of the employees.
I went in to buy new glasses because the ones I bought from another place still didnt fit my face. I was told by the other retailer that nothing could be done to fix them. I walked in to Visionworks in Lewisville FULLY expecting to buy new glasses and Blake greeted me, asked me a few questions and FIXED my glasses!!! It is like a miracle! They dont fall off of my face! They definitely have my business from now on. I am so impressed that Im shouting it from the rooftops - not literally - but I am leaving reviews and telling everyone I know! Go in and ask for Blake. You wont be sorry!

I only came in for a routine adjustment (my glasses are about 4 years old and from my home town), and even though Amber was working with a patient, she kindly asked them if she could step away to help me and do a quick adjustment. Both Amber and the patient in front of her were kind enough not to keep me waiting long! Great multi-tasking and she just seemed genuinely happy. Maybe it’ll be worth the hour drive to come back!
I popped in today and was pleasantly surprised! I worked with a young lady named Amber and although it was just a simple repair, I could tell she really knew her stuff! We talked about her level of experience and since I have some eye issues myself, it’s good to know this store has staff like this to help me out when it’s time for my new glasses! I surely enjoyed our chat and my glasses never fit better!

My glasses broke and I took them in last week. Doris Williams was there alone and it was pretty busy. When she got to me she was so pleasant and went above and beyond to find the same frames. Doris is delightful. She is very knowledgeable and makes a lengthy process go by quickly. My 2 pair of glasses had differences so it was not the easiest order and they had computer issues to boot. Doris was kind and calm and pleasant throughout the purchase. I look forward to seeing her again upon pickup. Just ask for Doris and she will take care of you.
This is my first time ever needing glasses and so my first ever pair. The process of picking what I needed was made easy by the patient explanation of Doris and Amir. Its our first time visiting the Lewisville location. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed. They helped us very quickly. The manager explained that it was cheaper to use my insurance for both my husband and son, than use the buy one get one free as I would end up spending more money. Doris was so helpful, offered us great service. She really seem to care. I highly recommend this Visionworks!

I visited this store last month. The sales guy, his name is Mohammed SHAMIL, pretends to be polite with customers but in reality he is a very cunning and unprofessional guy. In my case, he pretended to take my pupillary distance reading with the device he had and noted that readings on a paper to send lab. After three weeks, I got my glasses. But after a week of usage, I started to feel strain in my both eyes. It kept on increasing. Somehow, I thought to visit another store and get it reviewed in case if there is any gap or so. I visited VisionWork at stonebriar frisco. They took my pupillary distance reading but they were surprised to find the discrimination in reading; because the earlier reading provided by Ridge Mall staff (Mohammad SHAMIL) was 27 & 27, for both eyes; but the actual reading they found as 30 and 29. Hence I re-ordered a new pair of glasses and waited for another two weeks.Dont trust this guy Mohammed SHAMIL ! Its for your eye, a very precious one. Try avoiding service from this guy. He is careless, also he attends multiple calls from his cell phone during vision reading, makes you to feel like neglected.

I went to have a pair of prescription sunglasses repaired the manager took care of me and my mom he was very friendly and took care of ordering the replacement for the sunglasses. Tim Mabrx was carrying and helpful explaining the process to us and the replacement were done with a few days. Definitely recommend Vision works at Vista Ridge Mall. We will be back.

Theyre only interested in getting commission! Not your wellbeing. Such a joke.My husband has an eye disease that causes blindness, and to help postpone that, he NEEDS anti blue light lenses. Becky said that they offered it, quoted him etc. and when my husband looked into it further, he saw that its not offered. She lied for a sell. And while she was busy with other customers, and he was waiting for help, other salesmen were offering to help him and she basically told each of them to back off. Hes her sell.She said shes worked there for ten years, so I can only imagine how many people shes negatively affected. To think that his eyesight would get worse all for a few dollars makes me furious. Do not go to her.
Tim did an excellent job finding a frame to replace my broken one while I was traveling. Will definitely use Visionworks again.
Today was my first time in this location and for sure its not going to be the last. Prices are really good. My husband and I loved this place! Great customer service. Doris was very nice with us and our baby girl. She was very kind and helpful. Well be back for my husbands contacts lenses next time. Oh! And I loooove my glases!
We went to Visionworks in Vista Ridge mall to fill an eye prescription as they had a buy one get one deal going on. We picked up a pair of Guess frames and one pair of Guess sunglasses. The associate who was helping us, didnt ask us for our prescription, and just quoted a price out of thin air for the lenses, it was $350. So the total cost to get the buy one get one was $500. I told him that weve filled prescription from them in the past and it wasnt this expensive. He smirked at me and asked me if I was expecting cheap lenses in expensive frames? Who is he to decide that? How can he quote a price without knowing our prescription. We went to Costco, and got a designer brand frame and lenses in 1/4 the price we would have paid at Visionworks. I am never going back to Visionworks every again.I spoke to a friend and she said she had similar experience with this location too.
Staffs are super awesome specially Doris and Ambar. They gave me enough time and explained me well. They handled my 4 years old daughter pretty nicely. I would recommend this store.

I did my homework before coming here, as I do everywhere else. I saw several complaints about one worker, Becky, who is still employed there currently. First, please explain why a company would keep a worker who clearly doesn’t show a good customer service ethic. It makes the company look like it doesn’t care. Anyway, she attempted to help me and she was RUDE. I am a person, not a dollar sign. Overall just a rude individual, which the company doesn’t seem to mind. What’s the deal? I did see another woman, I believe she said her name was Doris? She was nice and wanted to help me too, but I was already so done and moved on to Pearle Vision.
My first experience at this location and it was terrible. I kept receiving different information about my glasses, no one knew where they were at. Nobody, could give me a certain timeframe on when I should have received them neither. I kept calling and consistently receiving different answers. It’s always a wait, you never get greeted when you walk in the experience was horrible. Not, to mention I was informed that I would receive a refund for everything I had went through. Well, the associate stated that she forgot (interesting) and nobody else even knew about it. If I wouldn’t have called the location she wouldn’t have called me, after the general manger said he would give her the message. Not to mention when I was the phone with her she said “Well, let me clock back in because I was walking out, oh also the reason for my refund was because she cursed when she was on the phone when she was talking to me. The general manager couldn’t even help me because he didn’t know what I was talking about. So then the associate told me to come to the location and bring my debit card, well I went their and the associate that assisted me then just put the funds on whatever he wanted to and didn’t even ask me. So I’m just giving others an FYI I’m not a complainer but I do expect atleast good customer service and this was definitely not the place to get it.

We came back here again for new glasses and were not disappointed. We were greeted by Mr. Amir, the general manager, and he was friendly, informative and very accommodating. Once we found the frames, he explained all our lense options and the insurance coverage thoroughly before purchasing. The supporting staff was excellent as well. I will definitely recommend Vision Works under Mr. Amirs management.
Amber is very nice and has lots of knowledge and i see many years in her craft. Very pleased to meet her and talk about my needs some days ago. I unfortunately only wear Oakley but it’s ok because she was very nice and I could come back to her. Did not like elderly woman Becky coming to us over and over with her two cents and trying to sell me things. Every time Amber would speak she would interrupt us and keep talking over us. It is rude. I see many complaining about her on here. I will come see Amber some day in the new year I hope the other woman is not there or leaves me alone

I came to Visionworks around August ready for new glasses. I was impressed with the wide selection of different style frames (especially name brand) the store had to offer. Once I chose my frames, I gave my insurance information and I asked the associate just for reassurance if I was going to be charged anything more than what the insurance was planning to cover at the time of purchase. The associate guaranteed that no more charges were coming my way.To my surprise, I got a bill in the mail about a month later from the visionworks corporate office of extra charges that the insurance was not covering. I called the store back and stated that these charges were unexpected as the previous associate guaranteed no more extra charges. They stated they will bring it up to the manager and let him decide what to do with the charges. The manager, Amir Sabir, called me back and stated that the charges were forgiven and apologized for the miscommunication. Overall, I was appeased with the service the employees of Visionworks had to offer as they fantastic and very professional in fixing the charges. I was even needing my frames to be adjusted, and they fixed them to my comfort for free. Highly recommend this store!

Just used Visionworks for the second time and I could not be happier. Friendly and helpful staff and a large selection of eye glasses.
I have always had exceptional vision but time, age and computers have caused my reading vision to erode. So I have never had to wear glasses in my life. I read every day so last year (2018) my eye doctor recommended I get some reading glasses. After my appointment, I went to Visionworks (it was near my doctors office) in the mall and filled my prescription. The reading glasses never worked for me. It was very blurry when I wore them but also kinda not blurry...weird right? I had no idea if it was just me, or the glasses.Skip forward one year (2019).I go to my doctor for my yearly eye check. He asks me how my glasses are working. I inform him that I never use them because they make it even harder to read...he thinks maybe he got my vision test/prescription wrong...so he checks the prescription he wrote up, then the glasses themselves under the laser. He determines that somehow Visionworks created one of the lenses (right eye) correctly and the left eye the OPPOSITE of the prescription. The nurse then tells me that this type of thing is common with this Visionworks store. DOH!So to recap -One lense is good (right eye) the other was done backwards (left eye). At least that explains why I could kinda see...but not really!Just to be clear, I admit I was a novice at this so I had no clue that it was the glasses and not me. I take that responsibility. My doctor suggests that I g back to the Visionworks store and they will probably fix my glasses for no charge since it was such an obvious mistake....After my appointment is over I go back to Visionworks and explain the situation. Much to my chagrin. the same person who originally handled my order in 2018 is again taking this order. He CONFIRMS that it was done backwards and said he cant imagine why it was done backwards. At this point, I am expecting an apology and a quick fix. No problem right? WRONG!Instead I am getting the sales pitch to not only BUY new Lenses but to also purchase new frames (keep in mind that I had only used my glasses once or twice in the past year...they were basically brand new). Hes actually trying to sell me on getting new frames/glasses for over $200. In the end, they refused to correct their error and I had to pay $31.00 dollars for new lenses (inferior to the ones I actually paid for the year before) because I missed the deadline for returns... Luckily I have insurance otherwise it would have been well over $100 dollars!I understand that I didnt return the glasses within the 90 day time period but, right is right and wrong is WRONG. Since they ADMITTED they made the mistake I didnt think I should have to pay for their mistake not matter the time period. Just my opinion and I wanted the community to know.
I have purchased several pairs of glasses from this location. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. On my visit today I was being helped by Becky Heflin. You can tell Becky strives for 100% customer satisfaction by the effort she makes at making sure i have selected frames that fit me and that havent picked frames that dont fitl.As Becky and i were browsing frames the manager the Amir said in front of me i need to speak with before i leave. His tone was one of reprimend. It was awkward for Becky and myself. This quite was unprofessional.
I have gone to this location previously and had no issues. This last time I went there were two trainees. I understand that everyone needs to be trained, but on a Saturday when its busy should not be the day to not have a tenured employee there. The first issue I had is that the ladies did not know how to input the insurance information. The second issue I had is they did not put my husbands contact order in, I received a call from the doctor that he gave the correct prescription its just they didnt know how to put it in. The third issue is when my husbands contacts came in they were still wrong and had to be reordered, I AM ON WEEK NUMBER 3, and currently sitting on hold as they try and find my husbands order. The fourth issue is instead of asking do I want anti-glare on my glasses, etc. they just put the order in and now my glasses I cannot use, and cannot get them redone. Fifth issue is this will be the 3rd time they are ordering my husbands contacts because they are still INCORRECT. INCOMPETENT DOES NOT EVEN DESCRIBE IT!!
