What a great find, we were in the area caving something and found this place. The two ladys that were cooking when we first got here were very nice and helpful with ordering our dine in order. The owner Joe Joe helped us out while ordering our to go food and helped us check out the items we picked up from the store side. Chona was very nice and helped answer our questions about the location.

First time trying Filipino food. Great flavor and very tasteful. Had the Turo, pork stick, and veggie egg roll. All were great.Staff is very friendly. Place is clean.

We always stop by this store just to buy halo-halo & sometimes we buy their delicious cassava cake. Very worth it.

Good food and service. This place have the typical filipino foods. You have the option to choose and order what they already cooked or you could ask them to cook food thats not yet cooked. They also have a grocery where they sell filipino and oriental goods. A good place to eat filipino food ..

I wanted to try the food, but there was no cashier available to ring me up. The grocery store itself has some neat products, but were a bit over priced, perhaps due to importing costs, not sure. Overall, I wish I could say more and leave a better review, especially since Filipino food is such a unique treat to find. Staff was at least nice.

Found this gem on the way home and it was definitely worth the stop. The store had a good selection of items and frozen foods bit the cafe was the better part. The selection of food was great with all the classic favorites. The pancit and lechon were my favorite. Hope you enjoy.

Very good vibe with live music, first time there and not familiar with Philipino food. Everything looked like a stew except for the BBQ skewer. BBQ skewer was good, I like the curry. The black stew was strange to me, sour and kinda funky. The squid has some eggs in it? It was interesting not knowing what I was eating, I still dont but very cool experience.

The food here is great....I drive all the way from fort worth for this tasty treat!!! I highly recommend going here!!!

Go here often with my girlfriend, she is filipina and I can tell it reminds her of home. Great atmosphere, there is always someone singing and they are always good. I could sit there and eat food and chill for hours...... and I hate being around people in public.

Terrible, drove in on a Saturday at 5:15pm, place literally had no food cooked, no food on the grill, and people working their could of honestly cared less. Save yourself time, go to a place that actually has food they will cook for you, especially at 5pm on a Saturday, go to Inihaw Avenue Filipino Kitchen in Irving, TX.. (Real Filipino Restaurant)

This is a quite and nice place. The customer service is good. They are so kind. I had the BBQ pork stick and it was really good. I also asked the lady if they had Ube ice cream and she told me they only had it in Halo halo but since I told her I havent tried it before, she gave me a sample. The grocery has a lot of products as well. I was surprised that I went on a Monday lunch hour and they had live music. This is a place to come back.

Hands down, one of the best if not the best Filipino restaurant in the DFW area. The moment you step into the restaurant, your eyes divert directly towards the giant indoor grill thats full of grilled meat. Then when you pause to take in the sights, you notice the Karaoke machine, balakbayan boxes, and grocery store nearby...the atmosphere gives an authentic atmosphere of home. This is a taste of the Philippines. This is the first time Ive seen so many different kinds of food outside of a Filipino party... Our church came together as a group to celebrate a birthday and the restaurant became a party place. There are so many different kinds of soups, entrees, and desserts. The staff are friendly and the bathroom is clean. If you are nearby, I definitely recommend this place. My wife and I are definitely returning!

OMG!!! Finally a Filipino restaurant here in TX that is just as delicious as my favorite in California. It has been so long. Hit the spot. I loved it so much that I made my wife take me back the very next weekend. I ordered the meat skewer, grilled pork and intestine soup. Next time will be the Bulalo. Their vinegar sauce is exactly what Ive been searching for since I moved here in 2005. Thanks Kabayan!

I cant tell you how much we loved it, but we went back the next day (Saturday) for their specials. The staff were very nice to my daughter-in-law who is also Filipino. They didnt pay as much attention to us but she was happy to talk to her fellow countrymen. So I was happy for her. The grocery shoppette didnt have everything we wanted but we wash found something to get. The dessert sections were great!

A Filipino store that DOESNT sell lumpia wrappers?? Any Filipino will tell you there is a distinct difference between egg roll wrappers and lumpia wrappers. This store is a joke. Ill do my shopping at H Mart.

This place is something else. My boss took me here. I had no idea that Philippino food was this good. I had some pork, some beef and a chicken in soup thing. Not a fan of the chicken but the beef, pork, rice, and ox tail soup of all things were amazing. This place has a nice little set up. There is a pretty big parking lot. This place has a store and the restaurant area apparently has a karaoke night or two. The staff was friendly as can be. They have this dessert called Halo Halo. Its a shaved ice thing but there is all kinds of stuff going on in it. Theres coconut, custard, red beans, ice cream and other stuff Im sure. From what Im told Halo Halo means Mix Mix. Which is exactly what you do with this dessert. And its pretty amazing. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Philippino food or to someone who has never had any.

My favorite Filipino place! The food is amazing! The first week I discovered this place I practically ate here every day! Always something different/new on the menu! Very nice and friendly people! So accommodating! I never leave hungry! I probably eat more than I should whenever Im there. Good selection of Filipino groceries too!

Liempo worth the long trip! Owners are very accommodating, and the food is just how I remember iit from back home. The grocery store has much of what we were looking for that arent found on typical Asian grocery stores.

We’re from Maryland and went to Dallas to help a local franchise for disaster restoration. My buddy and I were craving for Filipino food and went to google and found this place. They served the best food especially on the weekends. From thereon we just bought a lot on weekends and eat it daily at our room in the hotel after work. The singer is very nice and always smiling as well besides being pretty. The staff were very friendly I really mean it friendly they are always “ano po yun kuya”. I really appreciated their top service. The owner I guess he is the owner is very accommodating and knows a lot of music equipments. Thank you Kabayan Restaurant and your staff. Holy mother of holy cow, this place is phenomenal. My wife is Filipino and I have had many a Sunday diner, and about every other day of the week, eating fantastic Filipino food made from scratch, and it is always the best food I eat all day. I never thought for 1 second of all of time that I would ever find a place that made food on par with his, plus it has my wifes favorite dessert, Halo Halo.

Very hospitable service, delicious meals, and really great ambience.

None of the staff were wearing gloves. There were boxes of gloves and not one person was wearing them and neither were the staff in the back who were prepping the food. We confronted the girl about not wearing gloves and she just smiled and continued to prepare our food. The fact that she was working in the front dealing with money and cards and didn’t wash her hands before handling our food was pretty gross.

The place was neat and smelled amazing when we walked in but the area where you ordered has a bunch of exposed unappealing food. They should just put metal coverings over the food until someone orders some instead of just leaving it out to get dry and for everyone to see. We almost walked out and didn’t eat.

It defiantly scratches that itch of some Filipino comfort food and with a selection of childhood favorite snacks.

I take my Dad and my Filipino stepmother here. They love it. Its a little store with a cute little cafe. Filipino pork, chicken, fish and some beef. Roasted whole pig and fried whole fish. The crunchy pig skin was so good. My stepmother removed the fish bones for me. Im used to fillets. She likes the sides, some sort of greens cooked down in coconut milk and Asian type orange noodles flavored with shrimp sauce I think. I just liked the rice which I sprinkle with soy sauce.

This hidden treasure is the place to go. We dont live close by, but it is well worth the drive. When ordering your food, make sure to get some Bicol Express. ❤

Its a very nice and welcoming place, felt welcomed the second I stepped in. The food is great and it also has a store inside with many Pinoy products. I really welcome Filipinos or even others to come check this place out. It so not so big but just enough for everything it needs. I highly recommend to come give this place a try. God bless

We love hanging out. Yesterday we arrived in this delicious place which friends told us about. We had a delightful time there with great food and an efficient crew and a professional chef. We added this venue in our list and we shall definitely visit again very soon. We highly recommend.

Super good food and very friendly, helpful staff. We went here with a large group (12) and ordered the Boodle Fight menu. Our table was laid out with banana leaves as the table cloth and we had all sorts of BBQ meats, fried fish, rice, fruits and desserts to share. You eat with your hands, which was very fun. And on the weekends, they host karaoke--so fun 😁

ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK! Placed an order to be picked up at a certain time for a get together my wife and I were going to - 2 days before the party. They called me 4 hours before the party and said they were closing early and told me I could pick my order up two hours from the agreed time for pick up - so the food would be cold. Lady told me she forgot to tell me when I order, unacceptable!

Delicious food and the friendliest staff who are willing to teach you about unfamiliar dishes on the menu without any awkwardness, even on a busy Saturday! Order at the counter and then go find the tables in the back of the store. We tried a little of several different dishes and everything was unique and very delicious! We skipped the pulled pork from the enticing whole roasted pig behind the counter (Saturdays only) and the lovely skewered meats because they were familiar, but we will definitely be back to try them on another weekend. As great as the food is, the staff is even better. Friendly, smiling, welcoming and sincerely eager to help you discover what you like from the many choices if you are a newbie like me. A little hard to spot the entrance from the road because its tucked into the back corner of a shopping center on Business 121, but absolutely worth looking for!

Was invited to a birthday party and dined in their very large party room. It was my first time having Fillipino food. The buffet gave me a great sampling of many specialties. All were tasty. (The live Filipino rock band was awesome too!)

Live music on select days and a well stocked Filipino store. For Filipino goods this is likely the best in the area. While there is a lot of room for improvement on the restaurant side the food is still OK. I am sure as time goes by things will improve. Visit with your Filipino friends and enjoy a bit of the Pinoy culture.

The store has a good selection of Filipino products and delicacies.Compared to other Filipino restaurants, they have a better selection of entrees. However, they are expensive! If you eat a lot of rice (like most Filipinos), be prepared to pay premium.

Good food I would say if u order some, it did take forever for my order to come since they werent busy they only have one lady cooking and taking order then more people come still one lady cooking and taking order their so many people working there finally some help came around. The lady that made the sigang cooks really good. They should just have her cooking instead of taking orders too.other than the wait the food is good. Food tasted great, staff was very friendly and personable. For my first time, they made me feel like i was a long time customer. Only criticisms was more food options and it was a tad expensive. But for how good everything was, it was worth every penny.

Kabayan is a fantastic place! I was happy when they expanded the restaurant section, which is always good. And the grocery side has plenty of fil items that the Asian markets dont carry. Its almost a 30 minute drive for us to get there, and still well worth it!
