Update: The owner, Gus, reached out and explained the pricing. I appreciate the quick and clear communication. The lanes are per person per 30 minutes, which makes sense.Original: Service was nice enough but I feel like we were overcharged an extra hour to use the range. We were charged for two when we used it only one. Maybe there is a minimum two hour charge I didnt see and if there is, Ill update the review.
I walked in to see if they had the parts I was looking for on a new purchase. Unfortunately they didnt have the ones I needed in store but the employee that helped me was friendly and answered my questions while telling me what parts they carried. I wanted to come here and post a good review based on my experience since some of these reviews make it seem otherwise. Hope to do business here in the future with these guys in the local community.
Walked in and was welcomed. Gus was amazing. Nice and friendly. Helped me with what I was looking for. Been to other places around the area and I felt like I was bothering them. Not at this place. Thanks Gus!
Awesome shop they have a assortment or custom firearms for sale. The have all different kinds of parts to choose from
The store is very nice on the inside. But I found the store clerks to be short and snippy. They weren’t very helpful and seemed as if I came off as a nuisance. Also the prices are very high, they’re charging $50 for blazer brass 9mm. That same box is easy to find right now between $18-20 a box. And after seeing the owners responses to multiple reviews on here it makes since why the employees come off as rude.
Husband called to ask about having item, they had it, husband asked price was told, I dont know and given a ballpark figure. You want people to come to you to buy, please give them what they ask for. Not driving out of way for it not to be what we are looking for, simple customer service. Lost our business.
The hours of operation arent convenient for your average 9-5 m-f working joe.I was interested in buying a gun from gunbroker.com and paying the transfer fee to have it shipped here. I showed the associate at the counter the gun listed for sale and I was intrested buying. He found the ad on his phone then told me they no longer do transfers but he just used his FFL and bought the same gun we were just looking at and told me hed happily sell it to me for a $600 mark up and laughed.Thats just petty and a dirty way to do a repeat customer. Ill go to PSA or Shooters choice from now on.
I’ll say it like this ammo outrageously expensive! I still bought it ammo came out to be $1.01 per round for 50 9mm target rounds. The store is nice as hell and kinda of a shame I really like the place but the prices will keep me from coming back.
Everyone here is incredibly knowledgeable & eager to help. They take their time making sure to thoroughly answer your questions and guide you honestly and according to what your needs are. And if you’re not the most knowledgeable and experienced with guns they don’t make you feel stupid. Very classy & respectful. I look forward to visiting their firing range often until I become sniper expert level. Highly recommend.
C2C has been a wonderful place to purchase a firearm and we also enjoy their range. It took us several months, with several visits and lots of questions before we decided what to buy, but they were always so helpful and patient with us. We never felt any pressure to buy anything until we were ready. They are also always so kind to my teenage son. C2C is his favorite place to go! We will definitely make future firearm purchases with them.
Went into the gun store after it was suggested to me by a couple of friends and was impressed with the modifications made to both the outside and the inside of the building, but once I contacted the staff all that stopped. The owner was very obviously not interested in making small talk or trying to impress a self-admitted first time customer, and he gave me the impression that he didnt want to be bothered. I then heard a salesman talking to a customer about a CCW pistol for the customers wife, and heard the salesman flat-out lie to the customer in regards to how many times a pistol brand had been recalled. He told the customer the pistol had been recalled 4 times when in fact the pistol hasnt been recalled ONCE. He then proceeded to continue his efforts to steer the customer towards a pistol that was much higher priced and obviously the salesmans favorite brand. While I was looking at the pistols in the cases I saw a Beretta 92FS 9mm that was priced at $799.99; MSRP on this pistol is $675. This visit was a total waste of time, and I wont be back.ADDENDUM: Id like to thank the owner for his response to my review. He has completely validated my comments, and has proven to the world that he knows less about customer service than his staff does about firearms. So no, I wont be back - neither will my friends. Neither will the two friends who suggested this place to me - and neither will THEIR friends. Thats called the Ripple Effect, in case you didnt know.Lastly, and just for the heck of it, Im a registered Republican and voted for Trump 4 years ago - and will vote for him again in November. So you apparently know even less about human nature than you do customer service.Have a nice day.
Thank you C2C, you saved the day! Yesterday at our CWP training we go to the firearm portion of the testing and we were originally supposed to shoot at Kilo Kilo Charlie however after a poor business decision on their part we ended up at C2C and I was really impressed. The young man at the counter that helped us was super nice and got us on the lanes quickly. The facility is extremely nice and very clean. Since Kilo Charlie has shown its true colors, we will drive right past them to come shoot on your range for sure. Thanks again!!
This was my 3rd and final attempt to spend money here, Ill highly recommend everyone I know go ELSEWHERE! Myself and my husband have been treated very poorly every time.Staff was very rudeoverpriced
$90 for 2 people to shoot on 1 lane for 1 hour and 15 min. Albeit, I should have checked the cost of the range before going in, but I have been to many gun ranges in the area, and all are priced about the same, so I did not look at the pricing on the wall. This really should be brought to peoples attention before they enter the range. You are charging basically 3 times the amount of similar ranges. And before the owner retorts, no, your range is not better or cleaner than others in the area, nor does it justify the price. Its just a standard 9 lane indoor range, and you are taking advantage of people.
Rude. Very overpriced on firearms and ammo. Also don’t be there within 30 minutes of closing time because that’s the “time to close the register for the day.”I see why they have ammo in stock and can advertise for it. Very nice display of firearms that are not for sale. Thanks
Price gougers on ammo!! Charing $1/round for 9mm practice ammo. Can buy name brand ammo online today for .50-.65/round. Look elsewhere. I wont patronize this company again - ever!
New ownership has definitely turned this place around!! Before it use to just be a building where you could get something here and there. Now they have pretty much everything I need and more. Even gave the parking lot a huge upgrade and turned it into a parking lot! Definitely going to be going back!
Excellent, was looking for a Ruger lcp 2 that I couldnt find and all though they were a little higher in price it was worth it. Very friendly and helpful. Easy transaction. In and out with the only one in the state. Thanks !
Look at other reviews before going here, they are totally professional cussing and arguing with customers every time they dont like a review. Avoid like place like the plague besides there are other places cheaper and more customer friendly.
So on the website it says this place is open till 6 and theyre even running an ad on the radio right now saying they have all the ammo you need theres a giant open sign on their front gate that is locked and two days in a row now Ive showed up to the place and theyre closed but their website Google and their ad on the radio and theyre open sign says theyre open but they are not. This place is a huge waste of time
I love this place! The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable...not to mention they have a great selection of weapons and ammo. Definitely the best gun store/range I have been too. Keep up the great work (oh and awesome job with he remodel)!!!
Very nice store and availability to a rifle range. Met the owner and staff. Very nice guys. They even gave me a small spring I needed for my AR 15 build. Customer service is great and will using the range regularly. Go check them out.
I recently bought an AR15 from another shop and was told about c2c. I went there and bought a AK 47 . The guy there, (Chris) was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I went back the next week and bought a 45 with (Trump special 😀). The young man was short in nature and rude. I had a problem with the function of the gun and a week later, it’s not resolved. Gus told me to come back the next day for a refund because the computers were down. I intend to do so. I am in the process of building a gun collection and c2c is convenient . I compared prices online and c2c is a little higher but I would pay the difference for convenience, however because of the attitude I will not be a repeat customer. The guy wouldn’t let me finish my question or comments without interrupting me. I will find a store to assist me in the lengthy collection that I intend to do. The store has a lot of knowledgeable people but when you’re spending the kind of money for these guns, I would expect a little curtesy. Everyone has bad days, but not like the visit I had. I had already made the purchase when the malfunction was detected, or I wouldn’t have went thru with it. I gave them a chance to correct the misfortune but they just seem like they don’t care or need my business. It’s a shame because I really like supporting local businesses.
Best range in the area by far!! They have a great selection too! I went in to pick up some shells and found the rifle I had been trying to find for months, just sitting on the shelf. Friendly and professional staff also. I recommend this place to everyone I know!!
Nice guys and a great place to get your CWP but they are price gouging and they admit to it because of “what’s going on right now.” I was going there for a while until I went back to another gun store and they had much more fair prices. Don’t have as much stocked but I’d rather wait and support a place that’s not taking advantage.
Horrible customer service. We called ahead of time to check to see of they had what we needed in stock and to find out when they closed. Arrived at store ten minutes before closing, and door was locked. After knocking on door for five minutes, someone finally answered and refused me service saying they were closed. I stated The sign says you are open til 6. It is not 6 yet. He said Maam, we are closed and pulled the door shut. I live over an hour away and this was extremly frustrating for me. I will not be coming back. Not sure who is running the store/range now, but I never had an issue when it was Hwy 378 Armory.
I live close by C2C and when I became interested in a handgun I stopped in. I explained to the staff what I was looking for and they gave several recommendation. I ended up with a Springfield Hellcat, which I’m very happy with. The staff are all gun guys, knowledgeable and easy to interact with. Our right to bear arms has never been more precious to me and I’m thankful these guys are close by. No better therapy right now than 30 minutes at the range. Thanks so much guys
The team at C2C is awesome and very knowledgeable. One of the BEST dealers Ive dealt with in over 20 years. I highly recommend them. And their range is great too
Price gougers 40 dollars for 100 rounds of cci 22lr. Overcharged my son 300 dollars on a handgun stay away !
The staff is extremely rude and condescending, making customers feel like beaten dogs for asking simple questions. They are also price gouging guns and ammo between 50%-90%. For example, go to the store and look at the prices as they sit on the rack. Then open up google and look for the same item that is in stock at other shops, and you will clearly see how bad they are trying to rip people off. To prove my point, I went to check on their 9mm and 45acp prices. They are selling steel cased 9mm for $50 and brass for $62 a box. I went the same day to Shooters choice in West Columbia and they are selling brass cased 9mm for $32 and have plenty in stock. Shooters choice is also selling the same AR for $1200 that C2C is selling for $2,099. Let that sink in. Drive 15 minutes down the road to Palmetto State Armory or Shooters Choice and give them your business while still supporting local shops. And before Gus begins his illegible, grammatically incorrect tirade of insults for this review, I am retired military and currently a federal firearms instructor with the distinguished weapons expert award, and am also not a “liberal”. *Sits down and grabs the popcorn
PRICE GOUGE GALORE, Seems like a nice place, they have a range, selection is acceptable but Ive never seen price gouging like this. They want $1000 for a case of 556 green tip (1000 rounds) and $62 for a box of cheep defensive 9 mil (50 rounds). This is plain crazy and I cant support a business that would take advantage of a bad situation to screw over its customers. I understand prices going up but not 300% . I cant recommend or support an organization like this, shame.
Goggle says they are open on sat but they are not just drove 30 mins to come here and got shut down with three boys that are very un happy
Best range in the area! Climate controlled and clean. Super staff, very knowledgeable. Firearms well stocked for collectors or home defense needs (like me).
I’ve been here several times to use the range as well as purchase some products. The attendees are always very helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you for a great experience!
Great store with tons of inventory despite the Cervesa Bug panic. The gunsmith Gus was able to help me with an impossible fix and did a phenomenal job. Anything you need worked on just ask for Gus. If you havent met these guys you are missing out.
Hands down the Best Gun store in SC as far as I’m concerned. Best firearm and ammunition selection. Plus one of the only ventilated ranges in the area.
Was able to find what I wanted at price within what I wanted to spend. I am planning a second purchase soon. I have been using the range always good experience all around great place.
I was treated with respect by a very knowledgeable representative. I love the gun. It fits my hand and I can handle it easily.
Great service from all l dealt with. I purchased 2 weapons one a Henry rifle which l love. They looked at another gun l had that needed repair. They fixed for free. Dont go anywhere else.
Had a pretty abnormal experience to be such a nice store. Maybe the guy I talked too was PMSing. But he was very rude when asked if they had a generic AR part he answered “yeah I have no clue” maybe because he was working the range side. but I’d assume even the range counter guy who is adjacent to the AR parts would be knowledgeable in a basic weapon system. I observed many other respectful customers challenge him with a general question about the store or even just attempting to ask his opinion on something he would immediately attempt to dominate the conversation and humiliate the customer like he was Eugene Stoner himself.
What a great experience in purchasing a new firearm! The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, I’ll be backThanks again Julie 🙂
Havent really had a bad experience, however prices are on the higher end. Make sure to shop around before pulling the trigger.
I have purchased a rifle and a shotgun from C2C. The prices were fair and the staff very helpful and friendly. A good store to do business with.
Awesome staff and quality firearms.the range is very nice I won’t shop anywhere else for firearms after the service I have received from c2c arms
Stopped in with one other to sight in a rifle and shoot a couple of handguns on the range. We were on one lane for about 2 hrs, no targets, eyes or ears, just range time. Once finished the bill was 120$!!!I said you’re joking, he said no, new pricing since first of the month.15$ per 1/2hr per person. This is nowhere near their pricing from prior to pandemic.I suggest anyone interested in C2C to make sure you check current pricing, if you get that far passed the smugness and arrogance.Looks like the owner will comment on how I’m wrong, or try to justify the pricing. Say what you want, but you all are NOT the same place I frequented for several years, nor will we be back.
Very nice shop. A bit pricey.
Great selection of firearms and the lines are not long. Been telling friends and family to go there for great service.
These guys rock. They tell you exactly what you need to know. Great energy.
Excellent customer service, tremendous selection of quality firearms/accessories, and staff that are willing to share their knowledge. Would recommend for anyone, from first time buyer to experienced individuals, to visit and see what Chris, Patrick, and Eric can help you with!
Rude never going back. This place is a rip off.Update.... This owner is not what he says.........HE IS NOT A VETERAN.....He lost his legs in a car crash....
Great staff
I have come in and out this store numerous times over the past several years. Most of the time I was using the range or buying ammo. My wife and I finally decided to go with them when it came to purchasing handguns.Im going to cut to the chase. I purchased a Kimber Micro 9mm. I went back a week or so later to get some range time with it, and the Kimber had an issue whwre the slide would not recycle properly and would stay open while there was still ammunition in the slide. I cleared the gun, cycled the slide back, reloaded the weapon, and tried some more shots. The gun did the same thing a second time. I left it on the range table in the malfunctioned state and I went inside to speak with one of their range personnel. He came out and observed the gun in its malfunctioned state, and literally had to slam his palm against thr back of the slide to get it to recycle (which it is supposed to do on its own without beating on it). He then told me that he didnt see anything wrong with the handgun. He then shot itnseveral times and told me that he could not replicate the results. After he walked away, I put more rounds down range justbfor it to malfunction again. I immediately packed up my stuff and went back inside to ask for one of their armored to look at it. They took the slide off and saw some brass shaving in the hole where the hammer pin is (there shouldnt be anything in this hole). I recovered some of the bullets that did not discharge properly and noticed that there was a small dentnin the primer. I compared this to a spent shell and the dent on the spent shell was much more apparent. The staff were shown the comparisons and the rep told me that it was probably the ammo due to companies not doing quality reassurance due to COVID. They agreed to send the gun to Kimber, ad I left them the gun to do so. I left feeling as if they didnt believe me. The way I was treated made me feel as if they were just saying what they could to just get me out of the door.I received a phone call the following week saying that they had my gun still and that they figured out the problem. I went back to the store and they advised me that the gun just needed an in depth cleaning due to it being brand new. They advised that they fired several magazines of ammo through it with no issue. They gave me the box of ammo they had used and let me go try it out. The gun then malfunctions again halfway through the 1st magazine. I ran the box of ammo through my glock I had brought with me and it fired with no issues showing it was not the ammo. I advised the staff of this malfunction again. They claimed I was probably limp writing the gun causing the malfunction. This is not true as that I am trained in the use of handguns and have never had an issue with limp writing. They told me that there was nothing they could do since they could not replicate the results. I grabbed my stuff and left immediately.I will NEVER be giving them anymore of my business. They got my money and just quit caring about my issues or needs. I dont appreciate being told there was nothing wrong and essentially being made feel like I was fabricating the malfunction. I have never been demeaned like that from a place of business. I have been to numerous other gun stores and received much more professional help than I received here. If your going there to buy ammo, then youre probably safe. Dont make any big ticket item purchases from them. They will just take your money and then hang you out to dry.**Response to owner comment**I have never had issues with other Micros. I was never shown how to hold a gun by your people. Yes I do know how to hold a gun, I am trained to do so. I cleaned it again after your people did and went to another range with a certified instructor. It still malfunctioned on both of us. Get your head out of the clouds and treat people with common decency and respect. I change my mind and dont give this company ANY business.
