I worked with Hunter Story, who was a brand new salesman at the time. He was absolutely amazing to work with. He was always willing to do whatever it took to get an answer and do it in a quick. He was professional and fun to work with. I would work with him again and again!! He has the ability to go far in life with his professionalism and attitude. John, the manager, was great to work with, as well. He was a straight shooter, yet professional. He’d take my call or return my call at 8:00 at night! I’d definitely recommend this team to anyone HANDS DOWN!! I also want to mention how amazing Wanda has been! Richard, the service tech has been truly amazing, as well!! What a great group to work with from start to finish!!
They lied to me for over a year over my fluctuating credit score. I provided years of proof of employment, I owned property, plus I had savings of $ 10000. They took $2000, plus they lied and told me to pay Duke Energy $6000. They backed out and never helped me knowing I was in a bad spot. If youre an honest hard working citizen DO NOT GO THERE They will swindle you out of every coin they can...
Very nice people to work with I recommend Ellis Taylor. Lots of beautiful home options to fit your needs.
Really Nice homes but out of my price range
They were nice, polite and wanted to be helpful when in the buying stage. Even during the helpful stage not efficient with getting back in a timely manner. The price on perk test extremely over the actual cost. Was told they didnt mark up land pricing but was then told there would be a $2500 acquisition fee. Was told from day one the $1000 deposit was refundable EVEN the day the contract was signed. Just goes to show that a persons word isnt worth much these days. Life throwed a curve ball so we had to change plans. No refund no concern. Theyre just sorry theyve lost the sale. Im aware business is business but when you take humanity out of practice you become a business of greed and profit not a business of customer service. True customer service is more than sales.
Hunter was Great on helping use .
Hunter and John is 2 of the best people to work with had ups and downs but in the end Hunter helped us so much on getting our home I will tell anyone hunter is the guy to talk to at that store you want be let down
Would not recommend been over a week with no reply email and phone calls from the sales rep (darren) will be taking my buisness elsewhere
Nice people very helpful
Follow up is slow. But the houses are nice.
Houses are poorly made would not recommend.
Donnie is the bestVery helpful
They are very nice and is honest with you in every way. I would highly recommend anyone to but any of their homes. Beautiful homes all of them.
I highly recommend Clayton Homes of Lexington. John and his entire staff are nothing shy of phenomenal. They have left no questions unanswered and have treated me like I was apart of their family. They truly go above and beyond to their clients and I will be forever grateful.
Great staff! Hunter was awesome!
We have began looking for either a double wide or modular and this was the first place we decided to visit. We were given a key and told to make ourselves at home and look around. The sales associates were very nice and helpful. We ended up talking to Karen Shearer when we were done looking and she took us back to the one we liked. She went over the house and explained all the different options available. I think we have found our sales rep and our next home. I would highly recommend this place along with Karen with helping you find your new home.
Clayton homes is a very positive and caring place all around. They will help you out a lot and do what they can to get you in the house of your dreams. I talked to Darleen and she was very caring and very helpful. She helped me out a lot in finding a home that suits me and finding something that I loved and I thank her for that and I thank the whole Clayton homes family for all the care and helpful ness they have.
In Response to the false information left in a bad review by my daughter,I purchased my home from Clayton homes in Lexington NC, I am pleased with my new home. I was pleased by the professional way that Clayton Homes treated me and their customers. They were polite and courteous. That is what I like in a business. All said and done I am pleased to own A Clayton home.
My husband and I was toldFrom day one “As long as the order for your house isn’t put in yet you can get your deposit back if you decide/need to back out”We was also told “The perk test, surveying etc etc was on clayton”The family buying our home we have now backed out along with a few minor family events that came up we decided it was best for our family to stay where we are. The order for our home was never sent out and we’re now being told we can’t have our deposit back.I wouldn’t simply just make this information up on my own, This is what a employee of Clayton Homes (the employee that started the house buying process with my family and I ) told us from day 1.
Mike has been an amazing help to our family getting us everything we need for our forever home! We are super blessed and thankful for this amazing opportunity and couldnt have picked a better company to go in with! Everyone at Clayton homes have been a big big help and we are very appreciative of them all.
This is a great place to shop for a home. They have a large selection, friendly employees and are in a very convenient location.
Has great floor plan and sales opwn house events
Wonderful company. Very friendly. Welcome you like family! Beautiful homes, and great prices! Highly recommend!
Very disappointed in customer service. I dont get off in time during the week, so I made it to where I could get off work early Saturday to take a tour for purchasing first home. I called Saturday morning to see if I could come in earlier than 4. To my surprise, the person helping me was out sick. Another person offered to help, thats not the point. A simple call from someone there saying that would have made a difference. For this particular reason, Im looking somewhere else.
Do not go thru these scam artist!! My father purchased his home back in March, and he has been making his house payments every month, but he isnt able to go inside!?!? This is bull$#!+... I have had enough of this, my heart breaks every time I talk to him and he is sitting outside his new home and cant go inside!! I will be seeking a lawyer about this! He is hard working and these jerks dont deserve a penny of his hard earned money!!!
My daughter and son in law were guaranteed approval, ( countless text to verify) paid their 1,000$ deposit, land surveyed, deeded and had even chosen the colors/materials for their new home. Just before their home plans were to be put into production, they was told clean up your credit a little more devastated, they decided to postpone until they could do just that. Countless ignored text, calls and even a few hang ups, their $1,000 deposit ( for a home never put into production) is no where to be found. Personally, its hard for me to believe how unprofessional the entire process has been.
I cant say enough about the great associates at Clayton Homes. Everyone one of them has always been friendly, helpful, and attentive. I personally had the pleasure of working through my whole home buying experience with Pat Golden. What a tremendous asset is is to their company. He worked very hard and always keep me updated. I dont understand a lot of the terms and procedures about home buying and financing, but he took the time to explain anything I didnt understand in a way anyone can. Thank you Pat, John, and the rest of the team. Moped-ed
Could not have asked for nicer staff totally dislike the language other unhappy customers use, if your not happy I can assure you its not Claytons fault. They will bend over backwards to meet your needs. I am not the easiest person to please but they managed to do just that and more. Highly recommend 5+ stars. We are blessed. Thanks again Clayton Homes of Lexington.
Pat Golden is the man! Hes very nice and helpful. Looking for a home ask for Pat!
My sister is still waiting on her home has waited 6 months. Her home that has failed two inspections now the electric first now the grading is not done right so now the site coordinator is asking for more money for the drainage problem that they created.Every quote given was low and up to1200.00 off per item the septic the clearing, the plumbing, the electric, the survey, money was added to all quotes paid 500 for trenching the plummer charged 250 for drenching.Grave was suppose to be 1350.00 paid 1800.The back door needs replaced the refrigerator had dents in it the contractors cut into vinal siding busted hole in wall at front door. This has been a total nightmare. I would advise any one buying not to use their site coordinator you will be broke for sure .Paid more for set up ECT than the cost of the house.Get your own people to set it up because otherwise you get ripped off
The homes are beautiful and affordable, and the staff is welcoming and treat you like family!
Ive been home shopping for a while and found that Mike the Sales person at this Clayton lot was very knowledgeable and helpful. I had many questions and concerns regarding a home I have chosen and he made sure they were all answered and I was satisfied. I will be purchasing my home here.
They did an awesome Job!!! The bank had some issues and delayed us along with bad rains but the sales people at the home center said 3 to 6 months and had us in in 5!!! The sales people went to bat for us when the lender dropped the ball. Thankfully the lenders do not require mortgage payments until 30 day after you move into the house.
The salesman I spoke to didnt want to take my trade even though their motto is they take all trades.Even asked me if it would come apart on moving. Not very impressive. But nice homes on lot.
Though they were not able to help me do to my current credit situation, They bent over backwards to try to find something that would work for me. I highly recommend them and once I have my credit fixed will be buying from them.
Best place to buy a home in Lexington and surrounding areas. Greatest staff youll ever want to meet!
I would not advise anyone EVER dealing with these people unless you enjoy an extremely high interest rate/financing charges. Not to mention to quality of the homes. A cardboard box would be nicer...no joke. Save your money and dont piss it away to these people.
If you are not in a hurry these are the people for you,but they are great people, its just that the process takes some time but they are there for you from beginning to end and they stand behind their products
Wish theyd sell used mobile homes and for a decent price been looking for a couple of years
Darren is the guy to go to helped me a ton fast and easy process
Less then 1star Getting out of the car with 2 kids in the rain the salesmen where on the porch smoking didnt say anything about the doors being locked so passed putting the kids back in and ask them why they didnt say anything well thought u had bn in already. Really bad sales bad ppl Clayton should look into they have
Friendly people. Beautiful homes. Afoordable.
Great place working with us to get a place
Good place to buy a home the people are great
Incredibly rude by first asking Are you just kicking tires or you really in the market? Then wouldnt show me any homes if i didnt give they my phone number and other information. Ill just buy from someone else if youre that rude up front.
