We purchased a 2021 Expedition Max from Chris. I called on the phone and told them I wanted to do the transaction on the phone so I didn’t have to drag my kids into the dealership. We worked everything out over the phone in about 20 minutes and I filled out the credit app online. They delivered the car to my house and spent time going through the whole vehicle in my driveway. The transaction was super simple and much less hassle than the typical car dealership experience. Thanks!

This is the second one I bought from him and service department has been great as well. Plus the management team and finance department do everything as well. ALWAYS ASK ABOUT PRICES BECAUSE NO ONE TELLS YOU THEY CHANGE UNLESS YOU ASK.First time at this location in Libertyville for Ford.Where to start…Dropped off my car for a simple oil change. Which is no biggie. I get a call stating that there are issues with my car. First they want to charge $60 to change my front windshield wipers because theres a tear… LOOOL. Second was $190 to clean oil spillage. My car is an 08 but in excellent condition.Third, they stated both my tire rods were loose. So loose that they cant event tighten them, and need to replace the entire part. Costing over $300.Last summer, my family member, an expert mechanic changed those himself! Brand new!!!! I was there!!Lastly, come to pickup my car and pay, and the oil change would’ve cost me $100! For a ford, escape, 6V. What????? 3 months ago I paid $45 for an oil change!! They discounted $15 bringing it to $83.When asking the cashier about why so much and since when, she asked to talk to the technician.I asked the cashier how much an oil change is, and she said $69.99. But when asking the tech, he said $79.99 so which one is it? And when asking why it was increased he said due to the oil pipeline being shut down, and oil prices increasing all over.Which I truly understand there are shortages everywhere But, if thats the case, where is it posted that prices increase? Ofcourse no one tells you either. You find out at the end. Anyone who does work on their own cars know my frustration.I know they don’t care, but will not be returning to this location. ( No im not a “caren” btw, I paid it ofcourse.) But every time i drop my car off to get a simple oil change I ALWAYS get a call that there are issues with my car! Come to find literally nothing wrong with it at all.

Placed an order for a Bronco First Edition back in March with Chris Policarpio and agreed to a purchase price. After many delays with FORD, I finally get an email that my Bronco was built. Few days before delivery I had an updated purchase order with a $10,000 mark up for market adjustment. This was never mentioned to me previously and I reached out several times to Chris during the build process. I also spoke with Kevin Gordon the General Manager and he was pretty much couldnt care less about the customer. If you want to spoken down to, lied to with typical bait & switch tactics....buy somewhere else where they stand by their word.

I bought my car, my wife bought her car, and my sister just bought a car at Napleton Ford because of Jim Mueller. Hes so great! Patient, funny, charming, fun to chat with! Hes a true problem solver and he always goes out of his way for his customers! I will probably buy my next car there, too-- and I hope Jim Mueller is there to help me. Car repairs and and financing and signing all those forms is stressful (and sometimes I get a little cranky) but Jim is the best. Highly recommend and dont forget to ask for Jim! DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT take your car to be serviced by this dealer. They have had my car going on 4 weeks. Absolutely zero update, we constantly have to call for any updates on my car. Each and every time we call, we are given the run around. The service advisor Patrick can’t keep his stories straight. Management is a joke when escalating. They won’t give us a loner car, they won’t offer a rental. They still have my car, when I asked to take my car out of there and bring it somewhere else, they said it’s all torn apart, and I can’t get my car. So I stand with my hands tied. So please DO NOT, for your sanity and piece of mind, DO NOT take your car to this dealer for any service, not even an oil change. Extremely frustrated!!!!!

Although I was their first converted online order and was told it would be one price there was a miscommunication as to the final selling price.Update.They have agreed to sell at the agreed upon price as discussed in January. Kevin the GM resolved this issue in a professional and timely manner. I am now looking forward to getting my bronco from them again.

If I could give 10 stars I would. The stars all aligned when we were led to stop here! Sounds dramatic but its true. Car shopping can be intimidating & stressful, however our sales consultant Jim Mueller made it such a pleasant experience! He was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. It felt good to put our trust in his capable hands. We drove away very happy in our like new 2015 Ford Escape. I plan on being a repeat customer for years to come. Service Side is terrible. I booked an appointment online and then called in 5 min later to change the time. Someone picked up and said they made the change. Then when I got to the service location they said my original time was still valid.... They do not have their commutations on their side up to par. Will avoid from now on.

I was told a price online by Chris Policarpio for the Bronco that I reserved online from Ford. I agreed on that price and put a deposit down and agreed to the order. No communication was given to me concerning that price until today when I walked into the dealership to pick up the just delivered vehicle which I was told will now be $5k+ more than what was agreed upon. Chris and whoever he acted like he spoke to in back did not seem to care whatsoever and informed me that this was fair given that they would be charging walk-in customers 3 times that markup if they would like a Bronco.I also spent some time with Dave Melamed. Seemed like a real person who had genuine interest in the Bronco and was very friendly and helpful going through features and his experience with the vehicle and off-roading in general. After purchasing the vehicle at a still marked up price than agreed upon, Ive worked with Dave on a couple small issues and he has been nothing but helpful and accommodating.I am still very unhappy with how the transaction went, however, I will be contacting Dave as my go-to guy for anything at the dealership as he treated me with respect and honesty.

If I could give zero stars I would. I had a car in for clutch service and 4,000 miles later the engine fell out of the car. When looked at by another ford dealer they said it appears that the motor mounts on the drivers side was loos because the holes that it mounts in were oblong from wear of rubbing back and forth. When I asked the Napleton service manager about this he says that they needed to loosen the mount to do the work that was done on the car but is sure they tightened it back up and he cant account for what I might have done to the car over the time since the service. The service manager also told me he would look into this and call me back but never did. This is a great way to treat a customer especially one who has purchased 5 vehicles from them in 6 and a half years. I will never give them any business in the future and am just glad there negligence didnt hurt anyone when the motor came loose causing significant damage to the car.

This is the only place I will bring my Ford. Great service and good prices. If I dont have a coupon with me but there is one available for the service I am getting they will automatically apply it. Very honest also went in for a tune up and fuel service was quoted about 550 a few weeks before. When I brought it in for the service to be completed was prepared to pay the 550 I was quoted but after the discounts they applied and work was completed the total came out 100 dollars cheaper. I used to bring it to Gillespie Ford in Gurnee but had many problems switched to bringing it to Napleton about 3-4 years ago their service department is top notch.

Purchasing the car went fine, but the service of this dealership afterward has been my worst experience in car ownership. From the terrible attitude of their service center to how long it takes for them to communicate with their own extended warranty company, they are terrible. Really bad record keeping on repairs and takes way to long to look up an account to get simple information. If you are buying a car Id recommend you spend the money elsewhere, this place isnt worth the hassle.

We stopped in on a Saturday and met with Shawn. He identified that they didn’t have the car we were looking for, he told us if we put a REFUNDABLE $500 deposit down, they could bring the car down from Wisconsin for us to look at. If we didn’t like it we would get our money back. They ran our credit and gave us a quote for payments. We filled out the credit app and thought things were moving forward. For the next five days we had initiate every conversation. We were told there was an issue with my credit and an issue with the managers who needed to make the trade. On Thursday we called another dealership. They got me approved at a lower interest rate within the hour. On Friday we were told the car was finally there and we could come anytime after 5 to see it. My husband stopped in at 2. The car was on the lot and dirty. We went to the other dealership at 3 and bought the other car. On Saturday morning my husband stopped in to get our refund. He spoke to Paul the manager. Paul rudely told my husband that we LOST OUR DEPOSIT! My husband tried to explain what Shawn had told us, Paul’s response was yeah I’m sorry you lost your deposit. So my husband asked for his manager. The GM was rude to say the least. When he realized how upset I was, he did nothing to deescalate the situation. He actually insulted me and stated that he was “sorry you bought an inferior car”and informed me that he “doesn’t need your $500”. After justifying to me how much we put HIM out, he finally agreed to refund our money. The arrogance of the leadership was appalling. They simply lost the sale due to a lack of customer service. I truly believe this dealership tried to rip me off on two sides.

He told me what the repair would cost and said I would get a call when the van was done.The work was done within a few hours and the estimated cost was what I paid. Purchased a 21 Ford Explorer ST. My sales consultant was Tom DePasquale. Sales manager was Paul Bochenek. And Ryan helped us in the business office with Finance. All were very professional, courteous and pleasant to deal with.I shopped a couple Ford dealerships and ended up at Napleton. They had a decent selection to pick from. I was originally going to go with a Ford 150 Platinum truck and wound up getting the Explorer ST. Tom was understanding and patient while I was making up my mind. Great experience at Napleton Ford! I was looking to upgrade my vehicle and had been scouring the internet. I didnt expect to find my dream used Honda at a Ford dealership, but off I went. Gio Pina greeted me right away, was friendly the whole time, and went above and beyond to help make a deal that worked for me along with the help of his manager Steve Potts. Ryan in finance worked with me to add on a warranty package that didnt break the bank. Not once did I feel pressured like I have at other dealerships.During the test drive I had a concern with the alignment, and off it went to service the next morning. Service advisor Kirk kept me updated via text message that morning, and I went on my lunch break to pick it up. My husband was called on four separate occasions to come pick up his work truck. The first time he went to pick up his truck, they mechanic who was supposed to have worked on it wasnt in the office and hadnt worked on the truck at all. The next two times that he went to pick it up, it wasnt ready. Fourth time is a charm, though. I wished they would have completed the work first before calling to say that the truck was ready. Isnt that usually how it works?

I just purchased a vehicle from Napleton Ford. I brought my Ford Edge in for a factory recall and ended up buying a new Explorer, though I had been seriously thinking about buying an Explorer recently. My salesman was Jim Mueller. Jim was very friendly and low key and was extremely patient. After a very thorough test drive we returned to the dealership and I mentioned one of my concerns was if it would fit in my garage. After checking with the general manager he said let’s go check that out. I live 25 minutes from the dealership so it was no quick trip. Fortunately it fit so know we need to talk money. I believe they made a fair offer and reasonable trade-in offer on my Edge. So after very little negotiating we came to an agreement. I took my new car home that night and returned the next day to finish the deal. Jim took another hour plus to go over all the gadgets and operating nuances of the new Explorer. Jim even paired my IPhone to the new car as well as connected me to the new Ford app. I can now start my car using my phone. I highly recommend both Napleton Ford and especially Jim Mueller.

Unbelievable service! The transmission in my sons car was having some problems. Right away I was full of concern because thats not a cheap problem. We did not have a Ford dealer here because we are military and move a lot. I called and talked to Kirk on Monday morning. He was reassuring, helpful, and pleasant! I had the car towed there (through Ford roadside as he advised) and he got a mechanic on it the same day. By noon, I had some answers. He found warranty fixes that needed to be done and a problem I had to cover out of pocket. But Kirk was very diligent in explaining exactly what was going on and I felt like I was treated fairly and honestly! We were fretting about transportation, but my sons car was done by the end of the day! I did not expect that. The service was absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend Napleton Ford! When we went to pick up the car, the staff that greeted us were friendly too. Give them a go!

Purchased my 18 Focus ST here from a great sales team. I always come here for any maintenance needs and they get it done quickly and correctly, and are always true to their word. The entire service department is very friendly and no matter how busy they can get, they always pay attention to the customers. Service advisor Shane Holmes is very respectful always takes care of me. He is always straightforward about the processes that the technicians and the department itself go through. Had a completely unprofessional experience with this place today. I found a vehicle on the website I was interested in, so I called and made an appointment to come in after they verified to me the vehicle was available. I walk in the door only to have them tell me the vehicle was under deposit as of 30 minutes ago. I get they will always take money first but I never received a call to tell me and after leaving work early and driving an hour to look at the car, it was extremely frustrating and disappointing as I had planned to purchase had everything checked out.

Always stressful when its time to buy or lease a new vehicle. I finished my lease this month and decided to check out cars . I went here this Saturday and got this car lease at a price in comfortable with. Unfortunately it has 1880 miles on it already for 2020 fusion SE ? Looks like its been driven a lot somewhere and far already. Test drive usually is 15-30 miles per customer. Would have been better if it was only 100 miles . The car is okay with the amenities it came with. Gio did good . Just got a bit irritated when theyre pushing the lease protection for additional $20.00 a month. Money is not that easy to have.

We purchased a used Escape just over a month ago. The whole process during the Covid shut down, could not have gone smoother. Our salesman, Jim Mueller, was so helpful. We were not sure what to expect with so many places being closed/masks/disinfecting etc... He had arranged for us to test drive the vehicle and showed us others on the lot. These guys went above and beyond to get me into the exact car I wanted and a great deal. Although it took me several months to make the final decision, I never felt pressured and they were always very responsive to my calls and emails. Vehicle delivery was quick and smooth and again, with no pressure to purchase any add-ons I didnt want. Would definitely buy another vehicle from Napleton.

I gotta say, this was a great car buying experience. My fiancé and I came in to look at a used 2013 and we worked with Bill. He was straight forward, answered all our questions, and made the process seamless. Everyone here has been so nice and helpful. We did hear some noises from the car that we wanted further investigated; sales manager Chris came up with a great plan for us to come in this Monday for a full inspection and any needed maintenance to ensure the car we are buying is in the best possible shape. Chris was so helpful and really put me at ease with buying a used car. I’m really happy we ended up here. Fair prices with no hidden fees/agendas.UPDATE- don’t want to forget to mention Ray! ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!! We were completely blown away by this phenomenal car buying experience! This was not the first, nor will it be the last vehicle I have bought from Napelton Ford. From the Salesman Randy, Kevin the General Manager and Matt the finance guy my experience was 1st. class. They went above and beyond finding me the truck I wanted, even going out of state to bring it in for me. I recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a new Ford vehicle. If your looking for a new truck, the F-150 is a beautiful smooth riding luxury feeling ride. I had a 2014 and traded it in for my new one. The difference is amazing, Ford has really hit it out of the park on this one! Highly recommend!

I have mixed Feelings about my experience with Napleton Ford. My family was looking for a specific Ford Transit passenger vehicle. We found exactly what we wanted at Napleton but living in Indianapolis we didnt want to drive to Libertyville to find out it was junk. I spoke with Alfredo and he was super nice on the phone. He answered all of my questions and also sent me a pretty detailed video of the vehicle. Based on the videos, my wife and I decided to drive up from Indy. Alfredo had the vehicle ready for us to test drive when we arrived. Weve driven so many Transits that we felt we had a good grasp on the vehicle. After driving around for 10-15 minutes, we came back to the dealership. Since there was a wait to be able to purchase, I sent my wife back to Indy and Id drive home later. The warm and fuzzies ended there. No employees(except for the employee finalizing paperwork) of Napleton was wearing masks indoors. I thought that was interesting given I was in IL coming from IN. I waited for 90 minutes for a Cash purchase where the paperwork took 5 minutes. I was told it turns out I could have been out 20-30 minutes sooner but the speaker system wasnt working properly and apparently the employee doing the purchase paperwork didnt feel he should leave the office to ask Alfredo where I was. About 20 minutes into my drive, I started to feel a shake/studder when I was reaching 60 mph. That studder was consistent every minute or so for the remainder of my 3 hour trip home. My local Ford has taken it in and determined there was Torque Converter issues. Lucky for me, thats under warranty. Unlucky for me, the repair is a 4-6 week repair. They said I shouldnt drive it because the torque converter could lock up and create extensive damage. Its been almost 4 weeks and they havent started work yet because the Ford Motor Company has yet to deliver the parts. But when parts are delivered, theyre ready to go. And when I alerted Alfredo to this at the beginning, he texted me that his manager would call me. I never received that call. So Ive lost 6 weeks of where we could have sold one of our minivans, 6 weeks of insurance on the Transit, 2 weeks of titling a vehicle(IN requires vehicle has to be title after 30 days), and money spent in a rental Transit for our trip we had scheduled for FL(Flying wasnt an option because of the virus). All of that money also comes with 6 weeks of potential investment gains that could have been captured. Should Napleton have known about the Torque Converter? Its hard to say as there was no Check Engine Light. But I can say that they likely didnt get the vehicle up to 60 mph during their really extensive checklist as Alfredo alluded to. It became pretty obvious there was an issue when I got to that speed. Vehicle issue aside, the customer service seems to be lacking. Seems once they have the vehicle sold, they dont really care anymore.

I took my Ford Focus in for service earlier this month and worked with Shane. He was amazing! He was honest and kept communication throughout the whole time my car was being looked at. I used to take my car to the dealership in another town but going forward Ill be taking it here! He made the experience so much better and really took care of my families needs and concerns as if they were his own. Everyone is great here, definitely will be going back!
