I did not know what to expect from a luxury brand dealer, when buying a cargo van. - I am totally impressed.Mark Saltzman put over a dozen years experience to work for me, so I can leave with the best deal possible - and I did shop around...The finance and service team is all on par as well. Put this place on your list when buying a Mercedes for private use, but especially commercial. There was zero pressure, and totally low key from start to finish.Just because its a luxury badge, does not mean its not actually more affordable (especially long term) when buying a work van. I was trying to purchase mercedes metris here i was quoted $3,000 above msrp for the car that they dont even have in stock yet... Now you have to go outside chicago area to buy a car for a fair price... dealers 1-2 hours drive from Chicago are not doing that....

*Not sure why this review was deleted butPosting it again!*Do not purchase a car from them! I purchased a used 2016 S550 from Loeber in March. Car seemed to be in great condition and only had 48,000 miles on it. Two months after I purchased it, things started breaking on this thing. I contacted the salesman but he obviously got his commission so he doesn’t care about me anymore.Luckily a lot of it was covered under the extended warranty I purchased. But now I just found out that they replaced my brake pads but did not replace the rotors so now I have to replace the rotors which comes out of my pocket. Dealership out here said the rotors needed to be replaced a long time ago.Thanks Loeber!

Poor fit and finish on a brand new C43 AMG. Brought back immediately to dealership. Too bad for me, Im stuck with it. Nice folks however buyer beware. Suggest bigger dealership with more pull with Mercedes. Take a GOOD look at your car before rolling off the lot. I suggest MDs go elsewhere.

This is a review for the service department. It is the worst dealership and I cant believe they represent Mercedes. I brought my car for the recalled air bags, when I picked it up car my heat/ac was not working at all, and let me tell you that driving in the middle of the winter in Chicago without heater its not only uncomfortable but dangerous as well. I called and spoke to Chris who was servicing my car, right off the bed he told me the air bags had nothing to do with my heater not working and gave me completely different reason. Long story short, after long visits to my mechanic (I was not offered to bring the car and this point I didnt even trusted them) a wire form the AC was not connected back! When I went back and spoke to the manager Joseph trying to get some resolution, he showed zero interest or accountability how his employees handle my situation starting from customer service to the actual work. He said he will look into it and contact me with resolution, well he never did even after I called and left a voice mail. All the circumstances let me believe that forgotten wire was forgotten on purpose, so you can bring you car and spent more money.

I found what I wanted online. Mark Saltzman was the one to answer the phone and answer my questions. I drove 3 hours the next day to test drive it and take it home. Mark was very friendly, honest, and knew what he was talking about. He was not pushy and seemed to care more about making a customer rather than just a sale. All of the other staff members I encountered were also very friendly. When I went to go sign the dotted line, Mike was very organized, welcoming, and friendly. Overall it was a wonderful buying experience. A great selection of vehicles too. The facility itself was very clean and well kept, and it is easy to find. I can’t thank these guys enough for such a good buying experience!

Honestly the worst experience of my life. I brought in my conversion sprinter van (that I live in) to the dealership initially to fix a fried wire and update the emissions system. The first time I brought it in I was upcharged for the parts by approximately $500... After confronting the service management I was able to get this discounted and the repair was finished for approximately $3200 (2700 after removing the $500 that was attempted to add as an upcharge). After the repair was complete the van sat for a weekend and when I came back the engine immediately started smoking and had to bring it in again. It was diagnosed that the DPF flex pipe was cracked and more replacements needed to be made again. It was obvious that this was an issue from the initial fix but I was still charged another $700 from the dealership to get this fixed. After this I had the van for another week and the check engine light came on....again. I read the code myself and it showed an error with the DEF/emissions system that was replaced originally and brought it in to the dealership for repair......again. The dealership confirmed this error and replaced the DEF heater.Throughout this whole process it was conveyed that it was important to get the van fix done right the first time as It is my house as well as my car. I also had to spend over $1000 in airbnb and hotel fees because of the inability of the dealership to fix the problem the 1st and 2nd time. I was hoping that they would be able to reimburse me for these heavy expenses accrued from not fixing the problem correctly but the dealership did not seem interested whatsoever in correcting their mistakes or making their customers happy.I find it also important to add that because of this, I have completely depleted my emergency funds and have used all of my personal time off (PTO) days at work.

Definitely tried to take advantage of me writing recommendations for thousands of dollars of alleged fluids and things they said needed to be done. My Bill invoice was over 4K! I took it somewhere else to verify the recommendations and was charged $60 for the assessment to verify their work and they arrived back with exactly what I thought: I did not need any of their recommendations at this time. They wanted to charge me over a thousand dollars to mount and rotate my tires. After I said that was outrageous they attempted to clarify with an explanation that I needed new tires and my pressure was off. I just bought new tires a couple months ago and I had put air in all 4 tires the day before my appointment with them. Absolutely untrustworthy.

Had a great car buying experience with Vitas at Loeber. I knew what I wanted and they were able to save me time with going elsewhere and worked with me. The process was quick and efficient. We were in and out of the dealership under 3 hours, this is with valuing my trade, reaching out to the GM, completing financing and moving everything over to my new car! Mike with finance is very knowledgeable and the process took minutes and we were done. Vitas even helped me with customizing my car inside :) my daughter loves the pink ambiance! This is the worst place I have ever been. I got agreed on one price on a Sprinter over the phone, so we drove one hour to the dealer Beeing told they sold my choice and they were asking for extra money giving me a van color that I dont like for a lot of money.Stay away from this place you just gonna get frustrated and ruin your day.

Erica at Lincolnwood MB service promised to make it happen alignment is done thanks to technician Heisus job is well done great customer service and top quality they stand behind their work. Dont get your car serviced here. I went in for an oil change and a few days later I notice oil leaking on my garage floor. I took it back and they told me the tech had spilled oil all over the gearbox. They were very unapologetic. They cleaned it up and I took my car home. A few days later I opened the hood and discovered they left the air intake disconnected. I had to take it back for a third time to have it reconnected. They are very careless and I no longer trust their service.

I recently leased an E300 Mercedes.This dealership is the third closest to where I live.I had been to two other dealerships before contacting Loeber.Several weeks ago I called and left a message for Joe the sales manager. I told him my current lease was about to end and that I was interested in an E300 4matic demo.The very next day Mark Sarros called me.He told me he had a car that met my requirements. Later that day I want to take a look at the car and it was exactly what I wanted. As the price was significantly lower than two other quotes I received this was the car for me.Both Joe and Mark were aware that I had about three weeks left on my lease and they confirmed that this was no problem.About 10 days later we arranged the date and time for me to pick up the car. Upon coming to the dealership the car was in the service area, Mark directed me to the finance manager, the car and the price was exactly as they had described.Mark / spent a great deal of time with me explaining all the facets of the car. Before leaving he made sure that I had his cell phone number and said to make sure that any problems I deal directly with him. Joe also came over and thanked me for becoming a customer of Loeber.Several days later I had a few questions about some of the features of the car I was in the neighborhood so I went to the dealership and everyone I dont with was very helpful. Even though it was JOEs day off I left him a message and he called me back immediately.I am absolutely thrilled with the car. I regret having used Loeber for two vehicles over the last 6 years. The only reason I would go here is because the Schaumburg Mercedes service seemed too far. Won’t be making that mistake again.Within 2 years of a brand new 2017, they told me all four tires need to be replaced because they were damaged due to wear and tear. That makes no sense for a car that’s minimally used on suburban roads, so they looked into it a bit more and told me that the tires had to be rotated once a year and that hadn’t been done. When I asked them why they hadn’t rotated the tires during the annual checkups, they said (in all seriousness) “it’s in your car’s manual so you were supposed to ask us to do it.” So, I was told by a professional who handles car maintenance that *I* was supposed to ask for one of the most simple vehicle maintenance tasks to be done. I had to replace all four tires on a car less than two years old. I called Mercedes and complained and they were able to offer a discount (mind you, not Loeber but Mercedes). It still cost me nearly a grand.I should have learned my lesson after this experience but regrettably I went there again recently. I remember distinctly every time I went there for maintenance over the last three years I complained about breaks squeaking - it would happen excessively and not just in the wintertime. They didn’t find anything and/or they supposedly took care of it. But it never really went away. And it’s a disappointment to think you pay for the comfort of driving a Mercedes to be dealing with squeaking breaks. I took it there again because of engine problems and mentioned the break again recently. They said “the back breaks need to be changed immediately.” You can imagine my surprise because the car has been sitting home since March due to the pandemic. So from October (when I last took it and there were “no problems”) to March, the breaks were somehow SO DAMAGED that they need to be changed immediately. But of course this had to come up as “wear and tear” after my 3-year warranty expired on the car. I requested a copy of every service report they had on file and I saw breaks mentioned once or twice when I distinctly remember complaining about them every single visit. So now, I’m left having to pay nearly $800 for breaks that I’ve complained about for nearly four years.I gave two stars instead of one because at least they make the loaner vehicle process easy.

Sid is probably the best car salesman you could ever ask for. He’s honest, listens to what YOU need, and does his best to take care of all your questions and concerns when buying or leasing a car. He showed me the cars I was looking for and was very clear and upfront about the features on the specific models I was interested in. Was in the market for a new c300 since mine got totaled a couple days. I go online to look at a couple c300 and A c300 2016 catches my eye from Loeber motors but when before my arrival it got sold but Steven explains there is a newer and better one they have so I go in to get it checked it out. Stay away from this place - Incompetent and Negligent - Took our E320 CDI in for a sunroof recall last Wednesday. No issue was found with the sunroof but they pointed out a few items that required servicing and left with a ~$400 bill. I specifically asked the service manager to ensure that they properly bolt on the bottom engine shield after servicing the vehicle as they failed to do this on another car that we took there a few years back. This almost caused an accident on the freeway when it tore off.Fast forward to incident after recent recall service: We drove the E320 CDI on the freeway today, three days after being serviced at Loeber and the exact same thing happened again. The mechanic who worked on the car did not properly bolt on the bottom engine shield.I will never take any car for service at this place. This is just plain incompetence and negligence!

I had a very bad experience. We spoke to a lady named Raina and she was very hasty with us and rude. I thought it was super unprofessional. This use to be a better place and the workers were more understanding and competent. Now, theyre giving hidden fees for things I never had to pay for before. Theyre giving Mercedes a bad reputation. The supervisor didnt do anything for us either. I had high hopes for this place but unfortunately I wont be coming back here again.

I waited in the showroom for a very long period of time—-this after my having previously registered online. The sales associatewas pleasantly accommodating. The credit managers aloofness, however, leaves something to be desired. The way he treated me reminds me to be cautious in conducting business with Loeber Motors in the future.

Saturday we went in to look at a car, after working with Mark who seemed like a decent guy turned out to be the biggest pos. He said the car would be ready on Monday, calls two hours before closing that It won’t be ready until Wednesday. On Wednesday he called again a couple hours before closing and said that the car is almost ready and that we can come in on Thursday. However, Mark was off on Thursday so we made plans to come Friday afternoon. 10 minutes before we were suppose to arrive Mark called and made up some bs about the owners friends borrowing the car. Before I could call my wife and tell her that I spoke with Mark she was already there and Mark told her he sold the car two hours before we showed up. Worst dealership with terrible customer service I would not recommend purchasing a car from here. If I could give zero stars I would.

Marc Sarros was our sales representative and we purchased the car from out of state on Christmas Eve. The car was better than expected and no hassling back and forth with pricing and a fair price was set. The car was detailed, filled with gas and Marc took the extra time to go through every button and option on the car. Marc is an excellent salesperson along with the finance person. Took the car for a drive, handed them a check and we were back on the road in no time. We just purchased a brand new 2020 0 meter Mercedes Benz SCLASS. My mom has taken her car for the carwash service 3 times and was refused carwashes all 3 times. THE PROBLEM IS THEY ARE WASHING CUSTOMERS CARS. We see it every time we drive by the dealership they have cars pulled in getting cleaned. Why can you not wash our car as promised? DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP. This is not the right way to TAKE CARE of your customers who have spent a lot of money and have continued to do for years.

Im not shocked to see so many negative reviews about the service department. For me is started with the scheduler on the phone who didnt seem to know her head from her ... Fast forward to the end of the day of my service. No call from my service advisor. I had to call to ask for an update. He later called to say my car was done. OK... I review the invoice for the service I had done. (I have a pre-paid maintenance plan) The one thing I asked them to look into for me while it was in (auto shut off) was not listed anywhere on the paperwork. When I picked up the car in the morning, my advisor wasnt even there, so I was handed to someone else who didnt know anything about my car. I got a bunch of I dont knows and let me check with the tech... No one could tell me anything other than it wasnt looked into because it wasnt listed on the paperwork. Thanks Captain Obvious... So I could either wait a couple hours or reschedule a time to bring it back. Great... So I go to get my car in the garage, no one there. Im wandering around aimlessly looking for my car. Then someone walks in and said they will bring my car around. The car comes, and I ask if they no longer wash the cars before bringing them to the customers like they used to. The guy tells me it was washed. LIE!!! He said he would drive it through again and wouldnt you know it, the car came back clean. Shocking! I cannot believe how much the level of customer service has dropped off since I have been coming there. They used to seem like they actually cared about their customers. If I wasnt locked into my service plan, Id take my business elsewhere in a minute. Hope they get their .... together!

I have had several instances of terrible service at this location Angel is not the best representative in my personal opinion. The service I receive every time compared to the amount of money I spend on my car is unacceptable. This is a last resort when it comes to getting car serviced. I’ve also been quoted a price then up charged when I went to pick up my car and was told they will keep my car and the loaner vehicle basically holding my car hostage. I don’t appreciate the type of environment this Mercedes dealership provides. Save your money and go to your local mechanic or the actual Mercedes dealership downtown. This again is unacceptable service for the amount of $ being overcharged in the first place for simple services.

I only gave it one star because it is required to post. I bought my vehicle at another dealership and brought it here for convenience. I had take my vehicle 4 times because what seemed to be a tire sensor issue, turned out to be a nail in the tire. Theyd see my car, fill air and let me be on my way, saying it will adjust itself on the pressure with air.Thank God for run flats that the tire kept going, but nonetheless, my familys security and well-being could have been compromised. Eventually, i demanded to leave my vehicle overnight and have the car checked thorough. Lo and behold, they found a nail and replaced it.That should have been a tell-tale of what to expect for their Service Experts, but again, convenience factor kept me going there.They had to do a brake line flush and it costs $199 for just that, and I had other work done on the car. The next day when i drove the car, i noticed a shuddering, when braking. Apparently, my brake pads are need to be replaced - at $1600 plus.What I dont understand is, why did I not feel the shuddering before the brake line flush? Why only after?After the flush job, i was told brakes were at 5mm. So, I should not have been feeling the shuddering. According to them, im at 3mm now, and shuddering is something that would occur. But again, why was I feeling at 5mm only after the flush? Something fishy...Ive been reading other reviews here and see that Joes name is dropped here and there and that he could help. Ive tried him multiple times, left VM and the young lady took my information so he could call back. Still waiting.Im done spending any more money here.
