My first time visiting this eye doctor left me with a very good impression and that was about three years ago. After my second visit this year I must say i was not disappointed. The staff is very polite and welcoming. It is a great customer service experience and the doctors are very skilled and knowledgeable. Last year I went elsewhere for an appointment that felt very general and did not provide me with the in depth information I was looking for. It’s important for me to know how healthy my eyes are, not just get a new prescription, personally. Coming to this doctors office I’ve been explained things regarding my eyes and sight that has never been brought to my attention before. Vision care is super important and coming here puts me at ease, knowing that my questions and concerns will be answered. Prices are reasonable and worth it, if paying out of pocket. Great work! Thank you for your service.

We have been going to Family Eyecare for past six years and never ever in these 6 years we have experienced something unpleasant . Dr. Moyshelis is a great doctor and makes sure that every patient feels special. The staff, especially Ms. Aman knows her job pretty well. She is quite helpful and patient. We always make sure not only to get the eye checked but also to get the glasses made from there. I strongly recommend them.

Everything was a smooth process. Walked in for a eye exam. Staff and doctors are very professional. Give you their honest opinion on how or which brands will work better for you.Definitely a clean place and sanitized place.

Small waiting room especially when crowded with patients. When requested to come alone. Dr is fun to talk to and great at what she does.

Safe-ish & quick service. Went in for a yearly check-up, as a new patient. Pre-filled forms werent available and I had to fill them out, and then the wait for the doctor wasnt long. Ended up needing glasses, tried on a few pairs but was refused the names and styles when requested unless I planned to but then and there. Tell me youre overcharging, without telling me youre overcharging.

Family eye Care only cares about your money! They sell you contacts when you walk in the door before youve even had an eye examination. The contacts dont work and then when you return them they sell you more expensive contacts that dont work. Then they say the issue is store credit but when you go to use your store credit they say that all of your money was used for your eye exam. I recommend that you stay far away from the family eye care in Linden New Jersey.

Horrible !! I called to schedule an appt and then they informed me they dont take my state ins. ok, no problem I have Federal Ins. now BCBS Vision medical and dental. No we can take your medical for the visit but not your vision plan for your glasses. So, Id have to pay for my glasses out of pocket when I have a vision plan ? Im confused my vision plan is suppose to pay my glasses ?? Your an eye doctor that doesnt accept vision plans ?? Ive been going here for years and now they do this craziness. Im done with this place !!

The office renovation is nice but my daughter told me during her exam that the doctor told her to get a job while discussing fees with my husband. Now if she would have told me this at the time I would of set her straight in the face. My daughter is a college student and has two jobs, this lady had no right to open her mouth about jobs. She is an eye doctor and just stick with that not a counselor. We are not a welfare family and we work just as hard to pay what we give our kids when is time for glasses. She has no character and looks aggravated and is not a people person. This is going to be our last visit to this place it’s too bad a doctor like this has the nerve. You people ask for reviews well here is mine I would just stay away from this doctor M.

First of all they dont comply with the CDC guidelines its way too small in there to properly maintain 6ft distance between each other and mind you theyre in a building where they test for COVID next door. Second of all if you chose designer glasses which you end up not liking they will make you choose something else in the same price range because thats how greedy they are and you wont get reimbursed. The girl will also convince you that the most expensive ones looks good on you. And lastly when you dont pick up your glasses on time they will send them back for destruction and you loose your deposit. I came from dahlias down the street (not in my network thats why I tried family eyecare) and they made me feel more comfortable and took their time to pick out glasses with me.

Subpar customer service from front desk. Poor communication at this optometrists office. Proper training and etiquette is highly recommended. My advice for the owner of this practice is to not offer services that you customers that you cannot guarantee. Train your staff on how to adequately handle escalations as a result of poor communication at your practice. I am very disappointed and will take my business else where.

I finally bit the bullet and decided to get glasses again. The staff was friendly and helpful even during a pandemic. 2 weeks later got my glasses and was having vertigo and motion sickness. Came back and the doctor dilated my eyes for a more accurate eye exam and didnt charge me for the dilation. I appreciate that! Go here for good service!

Dr. Moyshelis was excellent. Took my 8 years old son for a consultation and she was amazing with him. Very thorough and nice. My son actually enjoyed the visit, thought it was a fun experience.

Friendly and welcoming staff

Ive been going to this practice for some time now and have always been pleased with the level of care and knowledge available here. Dr. Moyshelis and her team always listen to their patients concerns and take them seriously.They offer a full retina scan for an additional 39 USD, while its not a required service its very nice to have this option available. As someone that requires corrective lenses for distance this helps put my mind at ease that my eyes are being fully examined and cared for. This scan keeps photos as records and should be useful if new issues crop up in the future.The only issue I see is sometimes the lenses and frames are very expensive, but they have never pressured or forced the sale of glasses on me. I also dont have additional insurance for purchasing glasses so your mileage may vary in this regard.Whenever I bring up a new issue with my vision they provide clear and concise information on what could be the cause. I would highly recommend visiting this practice for anyone involving preventative eyecare. Ive even encouraged my family to switch to them, and they all love this practice as well.

1st time visiting the eye doctor in 3 years. The doctor was Extremely nice and very informative in advising me the test that she was admistering and how I would feel about what she was about to do. Hello, this review solely reflects on the Dr who attended my parents on 12/19/20.When I scheduled the appointment I scheduled it with Dr. Moyshelis due to her excellent reviews. When my parents arrived to their appointment on time, they were sent to be seen by Dr. Beckford.Dr. Walter Beckford, as my parents described, to have been rude and have horrible bed side manners. He rushed my mother and when she claimed that there was something wrong in her vision, he said well I cant do anything about it and itll go away.The lady at the front tried to fix the problem but it was too late. My parents were seen and treated bad by the Dr. Beckford.

First eye exam where I knew I needed glasses, the staff was quick and easy with my exam. Why did I wait so long to get glasses, I can see now! The technicians in front also helped guide me to my favorite glasses, they were great!

Family eye care is one of the best eye doctors I have ever been too. The staff had a great attitude and were very nice when trying too accommodate for not just me but all the patients. I am very pleased with the glasses I bought from them and as well as the contacts I ordered through them. The wait time was short and I was in and out within 20 minutes. They are great and I will be returning to family eye care for my next appointment and I also will be letting all of my friends and family the best place to get eye care is Family Eye Care!!!!

Initially spoke with Nataly about bringing in my own prescription for glasses. Went in and she along with the rest of the staff were amazing! They assisted me with choosing a new frame and it was ready for pickup two days before the time window they promised. Very pleased, looking forward to getting my future exam here.

I arrived to the office immediately greeted by two very nice young ladies at the front desk. One explained my insurance coverage and out of pocket expense. I was then given medical forms to fill out. Once that was completed I seen. My visit from scheduling my appointment on line to various follow ups, up to the day of my appointment to my actual appointment day all was professional, comfortable and very organized. I would refer Family Eyecare to my family and friends you will feel very much taken care of.
