Target Optical always provide outstanding customer service to their guests. First, I needed an exam and contact for my new job. I wasn’t happy with my previous optometrist. Even though I had to pay out of pockets, the prices were reasonable. Their first impression was their agent Lawrence, he was amazing very friendly, welcoming, informative about your concerns and needs. The pricing was reasonable there was a sale on glasses and contacts. In relating to the products and so on. At the end when finally meeting Dr. Nina Masi she was phenomenal. She makes you feel at ease ask questions and answer question about your concerns. I find her to be very informative and knowledgeable. Even though this is the closest Target Optical in my area. I don’t mind driving 10 miles to their location.
Was far better than I expected! Eye doctor was very through and informative, but was open and friendly. Selecting my eye wear was a painless experience, I highly recommend Lindens eyecare at Target.
The staff were wonderful-friendly, professional and accommodating. However, the website said most major insurance plans were accepted. Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal Employee Program is a major insurance plan. Their vision insurance was accepted for the glasses. However, the medical insurance was not accepted for the eye exam. Thankfully, the staff was kind enough to check when I arrived. The $50 I was offered as a price for the eye exam was acceptable to me, but would not necessarily be feasible for everyone. Your companys website needs to be more explicit about which doctors accept which insurance.
Dr Masi is Amazing!! What can I say shes the best and honest and will tell you the truth. I would recommend that all come and see for yourself also her staff and excellent as well. Target optical is the 👌

Had a very wonderful experience with all of the employees and the doctor! My husband and I were both getting exams while also juggling with our 5 month old puppy in the store and the entire optical team was soooo understanding, helpful and patient with us. Everything was explained in detail. The doctor and the employees make genuine conversation and again, are extremely helpful in figuring out the best price/discounts and even choosing glasses. Will be so glad to return every time. Thank you Target Optical for making what I thought would be a stressful situation into a breeze!!

I will never ever recommend Linden branch optical.They take a lot of time and not attended properly; the front desk allows people to meet doctor irrespective of appointment . I had to wait for more than an hour from my appointment time and seeing people meeting doctor earlier whoever came later than me; when I inquired with front desk, just got a lethargic response and am completely not satisfied with their approach.

I asked to place an appointment the guy in charge of the optical place said he was closing in 15 minutes and I got there5:15pm, the website says you close at 6pm . I guess optical from target doesnt want anybody else business 45 minutes before they close . I told him specifically just wanted to place and appointment. So bad :(
Maybe it was weekday, 01/23/2018, staff was of no help at all.optical store staff didn’t even knew- how to check give cost of glasses with Insurance- she told all metal frames are titanium frames ( they are NOT )- She would pretend being busy and would go inside opticalstore room.Hopefully target management starts keeping good staff over weekdays too or provide some basic trainingHowever overall this store has Good range of glasses, knowledgeable/ helpful staff is what required.

After seeing some of the bad reviews i was a little skeptical but there is a new doctor there and he is wonderful. He has great manners and does a wonderful exam. Made me feel comfortable and i saw really clearly through my new glasses. Would definitely recommend them.
I highly recommend target eye doctor and team for anyone that needs glasses 👓. My visit was super friendly and the doctor was super nice and she really took her time examining my eyes. Am very pleased thank you. Customer service was owsome. I wish there were more places like this one.
The doctor was excellent however when it was time to pay the exam was over $200. Yes it was a progressive contact exam but I should have been told ahead of time it would cost over $200. When I asked the staff at front desk neither one knew anything as far as an explanation they gave me my script & I guess I’m suppose to go somewhere else to get my glasses & lenses...Not happy at all with the communication skills at target in linden nj
The Good - no waiting for our appointment. My insurance was accepted. Prices were pretty good. Location was clean. Selection was fairly well stocked.The Great - My daughters doctor was Dr. Nina Masi. Great personality. Thorough eye exam. Answered all questions politely. Our desk rep - CAROL - fantastic personality. Very warm, friendly and super helpful. The kind of customer service rep you hope to get.The Surprise - They have Coach, Armani Exchange and Versace... seriously at Target! And their prices were not terrible.The bad - not a thing.Ive gone the cheap end with W-Mart in the past and the higher end boutique shops too. I would definitely go back to Target before I visit anyplace else... for selection and customer service.
By far this is the worst experience Ive ever had getting glasses! My daughter and I had an appointment for contacts & glasses on Oct 26. The stand-in eye doctor was rude and initially had an attitude. After telling my daughter who is 30 years old, she would have to spit her gum out before he examined her, he then debated her about her wearing extended contacts in the past. Told her there is no such thing. All the while huffing and puffing while speaking with us. He then stated that in his opinion, they are not healthy and that even though they advertise them as such extended wear, they are not. When my daughter went back for her 1 week follow-up for the contacts and to place her order, they lost her file. We waited for an hour while they searched all over the place. Eventually we were told that original doctor who is on maternity leave had the information on her laptop at her home. As for me, Nov 18 and I still dont have my glasses. After my calling for the last three weeks, I was told they forgot to submit it to the lab. They later changed the story and said that there was a defect in one of the lens and the lab had to order more. If I hadnt kept calling I never would have found out. I called today to find out the status and I was told someone would call me back. That was early this morning and I haven’t heard anything. I will never do business with them again.
Best eyecare Ive ever gotten, very thorough exam, all my questions and concerns were addressed. Excellent doctor and staff. Will be coming back with my husband!

By far the worst experience ever. The doctor there lost my script...twice...and now I have to pay $200 for another exam. Terrible, incompetent people. Also, the people that work there are rude and take zero accountability for their mistakes. They also dont like doing their job, and get upset when they have to.
If I could give you half a star I would! The receptionist is beyond incompetent! Would not even check my ID cards and quickly dismissed me. Was rude & unprofessional. I had to call and check my benefits.
