Great vibe!! I always prefer a locally owned coffee shop as opposed to the big guys. This was a great spot to work from and enjoy an amazingly delicious latte this morning. I stayed all morning and ended up with a pot of tea and a bacon breakfast burrito. Tasty all around! Ill definitely be back and recommend this spot!

Writing this review hoping it will help this business improve their place.I was waiting too long for my two coffees which is not that big of a problem since barista was on a training.When we already hit the road I realized that both of coffees were burnt and completely undrinkable. In other words, I paid 16$ for something that we could not even consume.

Came here for the first time today, had a decaf latte with oatmilk and agave which is not something all coffee shops have. It appeared clean, with cozy touches and friendly service. They also had local honey for sale and some unique handmade soaps. Highly recommend this shop.

Oh boy what a find! Loose leaf, super flavorful tea (we had iced today) with a great assortment of pastries and sweets. They also have burritos and soup. Looks like they make ice cream, too. Some outdoor seating and eclectic seating indoors - some tables and some couch chairs. Great service, too. Winner winner

Nicest people (owner) ever. Gave me a sample of the lavender syrup to make sure I’d like it. She made a delicious honey lavender latte. Please support local. Great coffee. Great people. And they still accept cash.

Ground Up Coffee is such a great neighborhood coffee joint. The staff are absolutely incredible and sweet and it surrounds you with great coffee, friendship, and love!

I found this place while driving by so I figured I’d give it a shot. Right away I loved the vibe of this place it’s clean the staff is friendly. it’s a great place to relax and have some food and drink! I had the cookies and cream frappe and was blown away with how good it was! Give this place a try whenever you can!

The workers are so sweet & helpful and the drink that I got was yummy. Its a quiet atmosphere with great music playing and plenty of places to sit. The reason for such a low rating is because there is a constant beeping/alarm and it goes on for minutes at a time. It stops for a few minutes and then keeps on going and it is so loud that even though I have headphones on it is so distracting and so annoying.

This place has the friendliest staff in town. They serve Kaladi coffee, LaBelle pastries, homemade ice cream for affogato, and homemade soups!

I was about to go to Starbucks but my mom told me to go here so I did and the owner is so nice and I love there staff. It would be a great place to study and get work done. Overall I had a great experience here. they are way better and way fresher than Starbucks.

Locally owned business that serves Kaladi Coffee. Ro and Julie are sooo nice and welcoming. Been coming here for 4 years. Always smiling. Try a local shop instead of that large chain that starts with an “S”. You will not be disappointed!

Great coffee shop. Although it doesnt have a super cozy feel, they have done a good job with the space. The service is above average and the beverages are always spot on. Especially cappuccinos, which seem difficult to get right at other shops. I will continue to come back.

The espresso was very well balanced with the flavorings and love the fact that the 20oz comes with 4 shots standard, you have to order extra anywhere else. Cant wait to come back!

Try the cold brew! Its silky and smooth and tastes like chocolate. Yum! I also got one of the jammers but it was so delicious I ate it all before taking a picture! Its like a little slice of pie for a small sweet treat!

Their fresh daily-made burritos hit the spot every single time! I have never had a burrito heated in the microwave and then toasted in a sandwich press, but it comes out lightly crisp, just the right temp, and served to perfection. The eclectic assortment of comfortable furniture, soothing music and kind service make Ground Up Coffee a wonderful spot to work, meet a friend, or make a few new friends if so inclined.

I love this place! They have great coffee, breakfast burritos, homemade soups, and such a homey atmosphere. Theyve even got delicious pastries from local bakers. If youre anywhere near Safeway at Belleview and Kipling (Kipling Marketplace), treat yourself to something special!

Nice atmosphere and great local small business stuff. I am always greeted with a smile. The coffee is nothing special so if you are a coffee snob, you may want to venture elsewhere. There is a decent variety of tea. They have food too but its not home made, usually just microwaved of toasted stuff.

Ive been coming here sense I was in my early middle school years up in the mountains. It is now my senior year of highschool, and this place is still as amazing as it used to be. If you want a layed back, and welcoming place to get coffee come here.

Sadly realized this is not a family friendly place.I thought it was a great place, great location and awesome coffee. However, I went in there with my grandkids, bought my coffee and a drink for them. They were playing with the table decorations but not breaking them. We took some fun pictures of them doing this, I felt it was not out of line what they were doing. I got a phone call, and was distracted for no more than two minutes. The lady (assuming owner) walked over, grabbed the table decorations from the boys and put them away. I had every intention to do this myself. I hung up, shocked by her actions, cleaned up our space and we left. I will NEVER return to this shop. This was my third visit, I was very excited to have a coffee shop so close to home, but will not be treated like my kids are unwelcome. Starbucks is down the street and my money spends just as well there.

I went in to this place many times. My work even collaborated with this owner to ask about how we should proceed with our new coffee shop. I went in yesterday to ask for a coffee, the owner was extremely rude and refused to make that because it calls for a lot of heavy cream (long story, but I get it). I then asked if I could get a totally different drink, she rolled her eyes and said I guess I can make an exception... I then said you know what, you dont have to. I took my money and my business and left. She was SO rude, and it was like I was bothering her... I loved this place, I was there to support you in your small business... but never again. Ill go pay double at a location across the street!

I have only been here a couple of times, but the coffee is great and the owners are very nice. You can tell that they really care about making you a great cup of coffee. Prices are very reasonable as well.

The woman was approachable and easy to talk to. The man is the same exact way! Its very homey and relaxing with the variety of tables and couches available. There seems to be WiFi there. There are baked goods that even looked to be made fresh. Burritos and soup is also available. There a lot of flavors of syrup and tea and the whip cream is homemade! The coffee is so yummy and only after one cup I am sold and will be coming here again when I visit! The frappes are so smooth! Their espresso tastes really high quality! Come here!

Found it through google, we ended spending there a couple of hours, it has such a food vibe to it and their drinks are great!i would highly recommend it.

I loved absolutely loved this coffee cafe until this morning. Absolute rudest gentleman in the world was working today. I couldnt be more sad.

Call ahead to verify its open!Ill give it a 3 rating because thats just a little less than the average so far but to alert you to call before you try to go there!I never got in, at 8am on a Tues morning because it was closed, when its hours begin at 6am.We had about 5 inches of snow the night before but all businesses were open. I had to take my meeting to the Charbucks a mile down the road. Another customer came and went away during the couple minutes I was there.That is my one and only experience with this shop. My wife liked it the one time she was there and it was actually open.

This place is a charmingly practical cafe, with a chill friendly atmosphere with tables large enough to share with a small group or a stranger. Chai and pastries are tasty, the latter appears to be homemade given it was served from a tupperware. :)The woman who helped me was easy to chat with, and later joined a group of older women who seem to be having a great time chatting. Its like a big friendly living room with tables.

An independent coffee shop. I want to support the independents and this one is really very nice. The owner has several groups that meet there, so she is supporting the community where the shop is located. The coffee is from Kaladi Roasting Company which is located in Denver. The shop is open Monday thru Friday at 6:00 am so one can get their coffee on their way to work. The owner is always pleasant and the shop has a very warm feel to it.

Coffee is from Costco along with all the pastries. The owner has been extremely rude to us Everytime we have visited as well. This place has so much potential so its a shame it doesnt live up to it.

My firsts visit to GU was with my 4 yo. daughter, where we hung out and colored in the John deere. coloring book, I felt like I was at cheers. it was my first time there but everyone there new everyone who walked through the door. we had a great time.my second visit was tonight, again with my 4 yo. daughter it was GU had closed 20 minutes ago. As I began to walk away disappointed, Jake came to the locked door opened it up and said, hey I could still make you a latte if you would like Sir, come on in. ...I found the awareness of community I was looking for.
