The initial visit went great. Didn’t have to wait. Everyone was friendly and professional. The problem came with their failure to order my trial contacts.Apparently they were never ordered and now, six weeks later, they still have not been ordered. I contacted them after a month of waiting. The lady on the phone said there was no order in their system. She’d look into it and get back to me. Haven’t heard a peep since my call 10 days ago.Called again today - took my info and said she’d call me back. When I asked when I should expect that call, she hesitantly said she’d get back to me today. Not holding my breath. If they do follow thru this time I will update my review.

Busy busy busy... customer service is slow slow slow. They are too busy to give good attention. We got glasses here in 2020 and the price was insane. insurance made it reasonable. The selection of frames is huge.

I broke my glasses and dropped in late to the store in Park Meadows mall area. Evan was able to fit me with a new frame and a great price. He was very patient, knowledgeable and kind to work with me. Highly recommended!

I have to say our initial visit was great. The Dr was very informative and their testing equipment is nice. Me and my wife felt a little rushed but nothing major. We had concerns about the brand of contacts we currently used because they would dry out to the point were having to peel them off of our eyes. He was very attentive and suggested the same brand but a better type. Like the level up from what we had. And assured us if we had any issues to come back in and he will swap them out. Our comfort and wellbeing seemed like a priority at that point. This was Saturday he stared he was off Sunday and Monday. Tuesday I give the place a call because we have had the worst experience with these contacts and wanted to know when they closed. I was then informed I have to make an appointment. So we are almost not able to peel these ones off our eyes. They are red and hurt and the best they can do is saturday? I explained our situation to the lady and she just didnt care. I told her we cant see they hurt and the doctor said he would just swap them out. The next response is well I can fit one of you in tomorrow at 10 am. I then asked if my wife could pick mine up too. She said no I need to see the doctor. I mean is she serious? Our eyes hurt they are red we have nothing but night glasses and have to work but cant stop in to get our trial contacts swapped out? Nope. I need to wait a week. I will never go here again. Such unprofessional care. Who lets a patient or even a customer in pain wait a week to just swap a brand of trial contacts. I was seriously stunned at the treatment and lack of care this lady had. Unacceptable if you ask me. I will be by tomorrow to get my script ill be making a complaint to my insurance as they are premier members. I called 3 separate places and they all said I could come in when I want because my eyes are not something to mess with. Would recommend the DR. But the staff was rude.

Optometry visit went fine. But staff was pretty rude when they found out we were not buying glasses at their overpriced store. Even commented on my kids being to loud who were outside. Wont be using their optometry services again.

It was my first time to this location, and I was very impressed, everyone was super nice and helpful, the doctor was super friendly he took the time to explain a lot of things I didnt know about vision. Evan was so nice, he fixed both of my brothers glasses. This is definitely going to be our new location.

I just picked up two pairs of glasses. I always make sure I ask for Heather as she is so personable, friendly and ALWAYS goes above and beyond for her customers. Heather is the only reason I am a customer here. She makes getting glasses a very pleasant experience. I not only highly recommend visionworks but recommend Heather even higher.

We had an amazing experience with VisionWorks in Lone Tree. Scheduled a same-day appt online. We were greeted by Cynthia who conducted the exam for my 14-year old son. She was extremely patient and clearly communicated the entire process. Next, Dr. Johnson examined my son and explained his need for glasses. Amazing communication and compassion. It was Dr. Johnsons last appt of the week, but we did not feel rushed in any way. Dr. Johnson did a great job of reassuring my son that his new glasses would help him in sports and talked about contacts down the road. So much empathy in the communication. Next up was Evan who was so helpful to my son in choosing frames. Evan made sure we were able to take advantage of all available discounts. Never did we feel like we were being pushed or up-sold. My sons glasses arrived on the timeline promised and when we went back for our fitting, Evan was equally as helpful as before... so pleasant and friendly. This entire process was a perfect customer experience. We will be back. Thank you VisionWorks!

This store was great and helped me find a new pair of frames and lenses. Tammy was very friendly when I called to inquire about getting some new lenses for my frames, and even though I could tell she was busy as I held for a moment, never felt rushed and had my questions answered regarding those. I was a previous customer, but as I found out from her, Visionworks stopped doing labs in their stores. I was disappointed, but she invited me in to find some new frames at least still, as I couldnt send my other ones off for several weeks. When I arrived the next morning, I was greeted by her right away and shown where the mens frames were. After finding a few pairs I liked, she helped me pick out the best pair. She then walked me through lens options. As I am a graphic and web designer, I was advised that I could get blue screen glare protection added on, and would have never known about that feature had she not mentioned it. Turns out the frames I wanted were on sale too. I was told they would take two weeks, and when I finally got them I was so happy. They have a fresh new look and feel, and Tammy really made me feel welcome. Ill definitely be coming back in the future. Thanks Visionworks!

$79 for an exam and they claim they didnt measure my PD. I currently dont have insurance and cant afford the $300+ for glasses, so I was going to get a more affordable pair online. Called to get the PD and they didnt even measure it! I waited over an hour after my appt time just to see the doctor, paid my $79 and they couldnt even give me this. They want you to buy their overpriced glasses! Slimy business practice. STAY AWAY.

Was hesitant about going to a chain eyecare place but didnt want to wait for an appointment at a private office. Was going to have to wait 2-3 weeks. Im going to go here from now on! Great service and Dr. Johnson is super knowledgeable and patient to answer all my questions. Took the time to explain why behind my eye care. Great experience 👍 Highly recommend! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because when I tried on the many frames they were noticeably grimy and cloudy. They would do well to take some time to keep the frames clean. Otherwise everything was great!

Not punctual and seems understaffed. I waited 45 minutes after the time my appointment was supposed to start but was given no indication that there was a delay or how long it was going to take. Had to leave on my own after cancelling the appointment.

This is the best place to go for eye care. To summarize, they were not-pushy. Both the doctor and the desk ladies were very honest in working with us to get the best deal possible. They laid out all the various options and prices of glasses and contacts and did not, I repeat, DID NOT try to up-sell the expensive options. Ive never had that experience before and Im very pleased with the service provided at this location. Ive been to several eye doctors around the Denver area and this is by far the friendliest, most honest, and over-all best one out there.

I had a wonderful experience at Visionworks in Lone Tree. Everyone was super helpful and informative, from the associates up front to the doctor. I was able to get in for an appointment very quickly and their extended hours are wonderful to accommodate those of us with 8-5 work schedules. The doctor was very helpful in answering all of my questions and providing solutions for my dry eyes at this high altitude. He ordered me samples of a few new brands of contacts and I was given a phone call within a week letting me know they were ready to pick up. Overall I have been very impressed with my experience so far!

I doctor was great. Sales person was a different story. The tried to make me pay for anti glare coating that was covered by islnsurance. Even after calling Vsp the insurance provider that owns vision works and conferring that I should not have to pay for even the top level of anti glare protection.

Dr. Johnson is as thorough as it gets, and takes the time to explain every aspect of your eye health. Shane is the only eye doctor my wife and I will go to. The staff are always extremely friendly and willing to answer any questions you have. Great Place to go for all of your vision needs.

Dr. Johnson is one of the most **honest** doctors Ive ever met. Two other Docs said my boy needed glasses to put on to see the board and take off for everything else, I just couldnt believe it. I met Dr Johnson and he took the time to chat with my boy get him to relax and turns out he didnt need glasses AT ALL!!!!! He was just a late reader and I could have ruined his eyes if I hadnt met Dr. Johnson. Ive been going to Visionworks ever since, going on 15years. Simply speaking, Doctor Johnson is the best!

I have had wonderful experiences here twice. I am majorly afraid of touching my eye, but the staff here has taken time with me - not just once, but twice - to try to help me figure out this whole contacts thing. Doctor Shane Johnson is amazingly kind, patient, and friendly. The office staff was equally kind and helped me to find what I needed while sticking to my budget (thanks, Lisa C). Ill be back!!

These guys saved me in a pinch. I called and they said they could get me a pair of glasses same day as I had broke my other pair and we were heading out of town. I went in and because of their sale, actually got two great pair the same day. They really took care of me. The staff is always friendly and the main doctor always takes his time and explains everything. In and picked my glasses and ordered within a half an hour. Picked them up an hour later.

My family of five has been coming here since we moved to the area because the location is convenient and the prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, every time we come - even though we have an appointment - we end up waiting for over an hour Pat or appointment time to even be called back for our first screening. Another 20 to 30 minutes after that, we finally get to see the doctor. This location seems to put walk-ins ahead of appointments without remorse. In addition, we have never seen the same doctor twice. We seem to spend more time at this location than any of the doctors who have worked here. Customer service is lacking most times, as well. Avoid at all costs!

Called in and talked to Lisa. I told her I had several questions and she rudely answered the first and then hung up on me. I called back and no one answered. I wouldve been a new customer at this location having just moved from out of state, but I will now be taking my business elsewhere.

AVOID IF YOU EXPECT THIS BUSINESS TO BE WORKING ON A SCHEDULE!!!Only go to this location if you have a lot of time to spare. I scheduled an eye exam online and filled out their information ahead of time to help speed things up. My appointment was at 12:15, and I got there early in case there was any additional paperwork.. They didnt have my information in their system that I filled out online so I had to fill out the information again...and then proceeded to wait until 12:50 to get my initial tests done. I was then brought to the exam room at 1:00 PM and the doctor didnt come into the room until 1:20...and then it took another 10-15 minutes just to pay for my exam that took all of 5 minutes. Avoid this place if you are trying to plan your day out because it will wreak havoc on your schedule that you try to keep. And Id say this place is pretty questionable even if you do have the time of day.
