Awseome store with all kinds of stuff for home decor to home repair or sinks and cabinets. Need a door they have a ton need a table they have that as well and the best part is the savings.
We got to look at some tile that was a very good deal. The workers were very friendly. The prices on furniture seemed better than I’d experienced in the past.
I LOVE this store and always find good stuff I didnt even realize I needed 😂🥳
Alot of handyman grabing budget priced items...
The place had a huge variety of items. I found many things i could use in my remodel.
I love restore in general, and this is a particularly good one.
Everyone was fantastic. Especially Matthew.
Great deals
I LOVE this Habitat Restore! I find new and used items here on a regular basis and it feels great to support such a good cause.
Excellent for DIYers....getting a bit proud of themselves with their prices now ...but still a good deal ....
Great place great prices....!
Very helpful staff. Cant beat the prices. To repurpose products is always a good thing.
I love shops where you can find antique furniture, as any interior designer is interested in creating his own design, and not furnishing his house according to a ready-made design, but, unfortunately, this store sells furniture that can be bought already restored and at a lower price. than theirs. For example, in the Marketplace in Colorado Springs. (I live there). Separately, I would like to note the supervisor working there (04/27/2021), it seems that he is selling his property, and not handed over to them for free in the store He spoke to me over his shoulder, making no effort to stop himself. Maybe someone will be lucky with the purchase, but Im not going there anymore.
Great way to save on home improvements...and furniture etc
Went to the store and tried to DONATE items we have had. Our table was considered an Antique even. The donation team in the back didnt act at all as if they want to be at work or try to help in any way, like I was bothering them by dropping off free items to give to the less fortunate. On the website, it states that they will take almost anything as they do restoration on older items in order to sell or put in homes. The website also states that they will take oven ranges up to 15 years old. I had a Table with 4 chairs, a wooden hutch for design in a dining area, and a oven range. They DIDNT TAKE ANYTHING...I had to drive to the nearest Arc Thrift Store which took everything. The unloader at the back took half a glance at my oven range and said it was too old, I asked how he knew that and his response was I just know. When I was in the military, we built houses for HfH and know how the process works. Either the company has changed from providing good natured service to those in need and is just for profit or the employees just dont want to do the only thing their job entails. It you want to do some good and donate items, use Arc Thrift Stores as they show that they are there for the people.
Staff was very helpful, great prices on tiles i needed and paint mask filters. Picked up some small gardening tools for my little ones to help with gardening. Special shout out to Matthew!
This place has gone a bit down hill sense it first opened. The prices r sometime laughable. I get it they need to keep the lights on and what not but for a second hand store and a non profit organization. They sure jacked prices way up from the beginning. Its a shame this place used to b one of the best.
You could easily do a gutted house with the furniture, lamps, tiles and flooring. Nice helpful people to assist you.
Hit or miss but you never know :). Some prices are too high (on things like beat-up compressors; table saws that are missing their fences; worn tools etc). But you never know and its for a good cause.
Hard to find help. Pricing was hit or miss. Either great pricing or ehhh. Would go back to see what they had if I was in the area, but wouldnt go out of my way to go back. Love the cause that they support though.
I will NEVER shop Habitat again! They changed a few years ago and have steadily become worse. They used to have reasonable prices and tested their appliances. Last week I bought a light fixture at OVER retail and asked if it had been tested... the guy working there looked like he hadnt shaved in a week and he just laughed at me and said they havent tested anything in 6 months. I took it home and installed it in my kitchen only to find out it had a bad ballast! I promise I will take EVERY opportunity to make certain EVERYONE I talk to is fairly warned, not only about their policies, but their attitude as well! The ONLY reason I gave them 1 star is that I couldnt give them less!
Very disappointed in what has become of this once great place! PC culture trying to become a corporate shill is not working. I will begin to shop and donate elsewhere. Makes me sad!
I read all the negative reviews and now have to add another. The manager and cashier are extremely rude and unprofessional. Rude to a veteran 🇺🇸 to top it off! They need to learn customer service 101 and even was told the cashier gets frequently harassed, well maybe shell stop getting harassed when she stops making rude comments 😒
Is Excellent place to Shop, Donate or Volunteer!!
When are they ever open? Not Sundays, not Mondays... And now they are closing early on the remaining days. I would really like to give them my business but they make it so darn difficult.
They mark up the price before our eyes. I found a refrigerator that was decently priced. It was clearly marked for $750 with an employees signature. When we went to get it, they wrote over the old price and changed it to $950 saying it was a mistake and they cant go that low on 20% off day. No other business would get away with this. Its essentially deceptive and false advertising. Dont waste your time here and dont expect them to honor 20% off (Im a veteran and came on a select Wednesday) the advertised price. When I didnt like that, they told me that its too bad I didnt make a counter offer. I didnt realize we could haggle and barter here. Whats the point of written prices then that dont get honored? The staff was just generally rude and I heard them insulting my senior citizen father when they didnt realize we were part of the same shopping party.
My first visit, lots of furniture, tools, lighting, etc. Things were at a good price, not cheap - but reasonable. The furniture was in good condition and looked like it would be durable. Well worth the time. I was dropping of a has cook top.
Extremely over priced, I love shopping second hand when I can, but items are well used and priced over retail for a new item. Over $800 for a table covered in scratches and no chairs no thanks.
Prices are higher than they should be. The staff is less than unhelpful and, quite frankly, very rude. I will not be shopping at this location again.
Good values. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. New and donated items. Happy hunting :)
Sale went smoothly. Generally prices are a bit higher than other stores, and staff is not the warmest, but all in all today was good. Lady I heard upset because she came from a distance to be told they didnt take donations today but hopefully they accepted items. We were patient with habitat during covid, work with us now!
Great cause and great place. Brand new replacement door for house for 20 bucks. Check here first before going to big box
Finally organized stuff. Easier to find just what Im looking for.
As someone who wanted to donate, Im very disappointed in this place. With a long line of cars forming behind me, and wanting to add to line efficiency, when I was the 2nd car in line, I got out and carried 2 small appliances (a toaster and a 9 desk fan) up to the drop off door and sat them down. As the car in front pulled forward, I pulled forwarded, and proceeded to get the rest of the stuff out of my car. The guy there rather rudely told me that he didnt want to have to pick stuff up twice, and I needed to wait in line like everyone else does. Seriously? All I was trying to do was help speed the long line along, and whats the difference in the number of times the guy had to pick stuff up from my car vs at the entrance door? Not at all the attitude you want when youre giving stuff to an organization; I ended up taking the rest of my stuff to another donation center, and they happily accepted it.
Closed on Sundays...really? That is when people have time to donate !
Great reusable items. Appliance furniture tools and much much more
I was a little surprised that the prices were so high in there. Really not the discount store I thought it would be.
The furniture used to be cheap. Not sure what happened but they wanna sell old furniture at new furniture prices. Its all donated so why price the furniture so expensive.
Would not let my wife shop who is 8 months pregnant and was ordered by doctors not to restrict her breathing, because she could not wear a mask. Both adjacent stores had no problem admitting her. They gave a poor excuse and were rude.
Nice to go in and check what they have. Have bought many items that have helped our business.
Wonderful staff! Everyone was very polite and helpful. The store was very organized and clean. Again kudos to the staff. Lots of stuff to see and some were great prices others were higher than I would expect. Still over all a great store.
People donate items for free as i have many times and you guys put rediculous prices on items.sometimes you guys ask more than home depot.
As always, this habitat is my choice for its fantastic inventory cool employees Ive made it my 1st STOP for Almost everything....Five Stars for sure *****
I Love, love, love ALL Habitat for Humanity Re-Stores! You might find exactly what youre looking for or something you didnt know you needed! Friendly staff, great prices!
First of there is nothibg on the website that said I had to clean the item. You have volunteers for that. Second your name Habitat means luvable not fancy or luxurious. There are families that need a fridge and your stuck up rich truck drivers should not make final decision. Its for the humanity community not Donald Trump way to make a family lose a fridge
Usually has a great selection of furniture, so this had always been my preferred store to go to. Drove out of my way to go to this particular store today but when I got here they didn’t let me in 20 minutes to close because their “computer was down”. I look inside and there was obviously people in line checking out. I think they just wanted to go home early.
My wife purchased 3 water hose spray nosals just before the shut down due to Corona, they were defective product after trying 2of them. They wouldnt give me a store credit for the. That shocked me, since I was about to buy 2appliances for 6himdred, bad business, lost a customer and donor. Now thier price Ms are getting ridiculous for used appliances. Look to Craigslist for better deals.
My favorite Habitat location. Great team,.Michael runs a great store and has a friendly crew at all times.
Cheerful helpful staff! I love the selection, I always find something I cant live without. Great bargans! 😉
Helpful staff, variety of products, great prices, and a great cause!
Great selection with decent prices. Kinda a Goodwill on steroids with furniture and fixtures. Will be back soon.
Customer service was good, really all there is to it.
Everything in this store is very nice, but not very second hand which defeats the purpose of the store. The most expensive habit for humanity ive ever been too
Whoever they recently hired to price things is out of their minds. This used to be a good alternative to buying new but now their prices are 10% below retail for most things. Store is packed so tight with overpriced merchandise you can barely walk down an aisle.
No loud music, helpful associates and great selection of items.
This store is full of treasures at great prices for a worthy cause. You never know what youll find there. The employees are friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic.
Their prices for flooring or tile are exactly the same as Home Depot, Floor and Decor etc., but without the warranty or selection. Total rip off.
Employees in such a hurry to close the store we got rushed out before 6pm. Absolutely rude.
This is definitely a good cause.
Super nice, helpful people! And benefits Habitat for Humanity!!
Great place to recycle your used items and pick up lightly used household items. You just have to look through the inventory yo really find good items.
The Littleton store is outstanding in customer service, cleanliness, and quality of merchandise carried. Thanks to this store I was able to purchase a new kitchen stove, and living room furniture in mint condition. I went to the downtown store in search of the stove and was very disappointed. It was very dirty and the stoves were horrible. We are lucky to have the Littleton store!
Great place to volunteer! Thank you so much. We had an amazing time.
I think they have raised there pricing strategy. My if the tools seem to be about half, rather than their usual 90% mark down from retail. I have cut my spending from there in a big way. For that price difference I will gladly buy new.
Used to be a 5 star place then someone decided to raise all the prices. Now its terrible. Literally trying to sell used stuff for $1000
I find the store a little pricey, for some people that are looking to spend less. Otherwise the staff was great. Just know you can spend a few bucks more in most cases and get brand new. You get what you pay for!
This store has most everything! No kidding, furniture of all sorts (sofas chairs tables sideboards entertainment centers recliners ALL IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE) washers dryers dish washers lighting fixtures mirrors pictures and frames AND all sorts of building supplies knobs handles nails plumbing supplies sinks tubs kitchen and bathroom cabinet... have I missed anything? They really have it all. I always see independent home builders getting supplies. All in good shape! You really do have to check it out. All the profits go to Habitat for Humanity. Thats the organization set up by Pres.Carter. They build houses for needy people. Not only Nationally but Internationally. And the houses are built completely by Volunteers, as well as the person who the house is being built for. Pretty awesome! Anyone who wants can be a part of it. Its not only fun to do but rewarding. Nit, back to the re-store... Check it out. Its clean and well organized. People who work there are knowledgeable.
Wonderful, refreshing customer service. We live in the mountains and the restore in Summit should not even be connected to Habitat for Humanity. This was a welcome change. Thank you!
I couldnt believe there was no public restrooms. I left
Ive volunteered here before and the staff is awesome, they kept me busy with organizing the store. I have been back here to do some shopping for projects at home and found some great deals. If you have items to donate they will take your leftover building supplies and household items at the back door.
With a wide selection of ever rotating inventory and super affordable tool rentals, this should be your first stop for any renovation project. Their recent changes to improve organization and cleanliness have not gone unnoticed. Staff is friendly and always ready to lend a hand. Prices are always right.
Much smaller than a previous Re-Store than Ive been in before but, they have a pretty good selection of the things I was looking for. Please support these stores because the proceeds go towards helping others.
Most always find what I want or need
Very well staffed and friendly. I was surprised by how expensive everything has got. Found several items that came from Lowes with clearance stickers for half what Habitat wants for the item. Little overpriced for a second hand store.
Cool store you can find almost everything for small projects at home, the best part the profits go to habitat for humanity. Some of the stuff is new or gently used.
Great place for just about anything, no matter how small or eclectic, they probably have it at one of their stores.
Beggars and choosers here! A desk that’s scuffed and more 43” instead of 40” or less. New buildings supplies that aren’t something they know how to classify. Checked to see if a fan works. Asked me where the wall mount holder was for a set of screw drivers. I could’ve just thrown it all away to begin with. I won’t be bothering with these guys anymore.
I love this place they have such great deals and the people are so friendly that work there I always end up spending way too much time there and more money than I intended on but I always get way more then I could anywhere else
Great deals and lots of stuff.
I love the restore. ..if you are crafty or handy or just like looking for bargains on home stuff it is the place to shop.
From bath vanities and cabinets to light fixtures and dining room furniture, the restores are an excellent way to support the community and get outstanding deals on most home improvement stuff. All of the staff at the 4 Denver area locations were so helpful as well.
Employees dont bother pricing out items before they place on shelf but no worry because the front cashier just googles the item and sets the price at 50% off Retail, no matter if the item is in good or not so good shape. Good luck purchasing any power tools because even though their entire inventory is donation based (they dont pay for it, not a cent) but they turn around and sell it back to the public at 50% off Retail brand new?!?! What a rip off, but very lucrative business model. You know youre poor when you cant afford to go to the habitat for humanity resale store to find the tool you need. I use to come to this branch twice a week and talked them up to customers of mine in the service industry but no more as they have lost my trust 100%
Always friendly staff. Great deals. Love this store.
Meh. Overpriced stuff thats kind of junky and dated. Not vintage, just out -of-date. You wont find any mid century modern, but theres plenty of cheap mass-produced stuff from the 80s and 90s. Think Golden Maple particleboard. If youre looking for a few decent quality cabinets, there may be some here sometime, but Ive never found any! I look every time I go to Costco, which is twice a week or so. There are way better pickings at Extra Building Materials off I-25 & I-70. Or even at yard sales.Dont get me wrong, Im sure this is a great cause and all, but part of me is starting to wonder. I mean, do poor people get free houses, Or do they end up paying high interest and too many payments? Im not curious enough to really care, but I do wonder.
The last time I set foot in this location I received a very informative explanation of the pricing model that habitat uses as well as a whole bunch of bad attitude from the MOD as she explained that people donate items and then they determine the items condition and more times than not price it at 40% of what they find it priced for online new. Bear in mind that if they feel it is whorth more then they go higher. Think about that when you’re 5 bucks short on a donated sofa they are selling for $100 dollars (all profit) and because they wouldn’t negotiate with you or after the snooty tirade, extend a hold on the item and the person behind you buys it instead. The MOD proved her point and proved that Habitat for Humanity like all non-profits and intact profit seeking entities and the people who manage them are bottom line focused only. Either they are diehard serious about building houses or they are receiving incentives to maximize profits on 100% free uses items at as close to MSRP as the customer will buy. It’s a sad day in America
For the handyman its like Disneyland
I love this place. You never know what you will find
I was looking for a little coffee table and their stuff was surprisingly expensive for how dated and beat up it was. Im sure you can find good deals in there somewhere but that somewhere is not in the coffee table section.
I love restore! Great friendly staff, good selection (varies), clean, fun !
There are diamonds in the rough. If you have patience and keep showing up you can find great home improvement material
Great people amd great service 10/10
Best place to pick up households things...
DO NOT buy upholstered furniture there. I bought a lovely sofa that looked like it had sat unused in gradmas formal livingroon. I pad someone to deliver it. Apparently they use some kind of deoderizer/disinfectant it stinks. So far, I steam cleaned it and have used a number of professional deoderizers an even tried vinegar and baking soda. It still stinks of what they used. I feel scammed as with the added expense for deoderizers it is now a $200 dumpster candidate.
Great way to do a project on a budget!
Helpful if you dont mind hit or miss on what you are hoping to find.
Great place for cheap but great quality home construction needs.
Wish the coupons were for a longer period of time. Issued on the 3rd, expires the 11th - sometimes the extra money isnt available that quickly
Horrible. Checked the front doors and nothing posted dogs not allowed. We were less then three feet in and asked by associate if our girl was a service dog. Not cool
