My 2nd time being there it was very busy. Clean everything in its place, the hot food was good, i had the jerk chicken & noodles. The staff was warm & accommodating. Great place .

This location is updated so nice, spacious and clean. Shelves are well stock, food always fresh and packed out neat. If you in the area or want to take a nice drive away from home stop to your neighborhood friendly Shop Rite Livingston, NJ.

From outside the back looks like an imposing, brick red warehouse. With a packed parking lot. Lots of groceries inside and clean and well lit, with a few things missing (out of fresh brussel sprouts) and a few areas a bit disorganized with cheeses in three places. Well, at least checkout was fast. Meats, a reasonable selection but not as good as the Shoprite in Jersey City.

Overall, the workers are very nice management included and have manners. The customers however dont like to say excuse me they just expect you to move. Also, there arent many hand sanitizer stations around the store. Very dangerous. Risks contaminating yourself and your belongings. Other than that one health issue I enjoyed my visit!

Second year in a row ordering some sandwich platters for my kids birthday. It was an easy pick up and everything looked and tasted great

This is where I do the bulk of my grocery shopping. Do not go here during lunch time. It is a total zoo. I don’t know why so many people go here during lunch time! I usually go early in the morning at 8am or after 8pm. There are so little people at that time you feel you have the store to yourself and you can do your shopping in peace!

Great selection BUT if you need lobster or clams steamed, they dont do that. Go to Caldwell or Morris Plains store.

The selection of products is good. The customer service has room for improvement.

Very neat and clean. So many different options from cooked food to uncooked but prepped.

All the employees are kind, considerate and always take the time to help whether to answer a question or to show you where you can find the product you are searching for. The cashiers get 5 stars for putting themselves in harms way so we can do our shopping knowing that everyone has put our safety and well being first and foremost. We should never take anyone for granted for making our life easier. They are among the many heroes that in a different time most likely were taken for granted.. Bless them all!!!!

One of the nicer Shoprites in the area. The store is well-stocked and everything is neatly displayed. There are several entrances and checkout areas. The fresh produce section isnt quite a large as the ShopRite in West Orange but things are displayed neater.The fresh foods area is nicely decorated and provides a good shopping experience. I come here occassionally and the service is quite consistent.

I appreciate Alex in seafood! She assisted me in picking the best seafood for an awesome family gathering. My husbands family was pleased with what I was able to provide and if it had not been for Alex, I’m not quite sure the meal would’ve been as pleasant. Everything was clean & she was quite knowledgeable of the large variations of fish and crabs available. Thank you Alex!

I usually go her when Im in a rush. While the prices are reasonable, I dont like have to double check what I pick up to purchase. Purchased what said crumb cake.. only to get home and have something with nuts in it..smh.. meats are also often close to expire date.. this is a last resort location only.

Smaller shoprite compared to the others, but I personally dont mind. Food is normally fresh and employees are kind and helpful. I have been going to this location for years; definitely my favorite location.

Stopped at this ShopRite to pick up Balloons for a Childs birthday. There is no one in floral so I asked the first store employee if there was anyone to help in that dept., she referred me to the employee walking up behind me who then told me to ask the woman she pointed to thats picking up stray items at the registers. Her response was no one is in that department I can help you but you have to wait I am helping the employees at the registers I asked how long and got you will have to wait I put my balloons and other items back and left. I will not go back here, this was my regular store when I lived in town years ago, things change and not for the best always.

Good if youre planning on shopping for yourself or picking up an order you submitted online. If youre requesting delivery from here, be aware it will take forever.Their process for their party companies doing delivery for them is outrageous. I showed up almost an hour and a half early for deliveries scheduled for 1pm-2pm & 3pm-4pm. I had to speak to 4 different people to finally get helped and it only took me 50 minutes to get the orders that I needed to deliver. I spoke to an employee about this and she said well your order is for 1pm-2pm pick up so we wont start making it until at least 1pm. I told her no, thats my delivery timeframe that my third party company gives me to deliver each order. They didnt care. They said ...come back or wait but it wont be made until 1pm. Finally when I returned, I went through the exact same process. After 40 mins of waiting in my car I went to their office and spoke to them personally. Their response was we have nothing slotted for Spot 1. I was parked in Spot 1 for 40 MINUTES and it didnt occur to them to ask me why I was parked there or if I was waiting for anything. Extremely unprofessional and overall made my job extremely difficult. I will no longer return to this shoprite to do deliveries for them.

I have been to a number of different ShopRite. I have to say this one is my favorite. As many of you know, all ShopRites dont carry the same things. Its all base off of what sales in that area. This ShopRite carries everything I like, and even things that I may try in the future. I literally pass three supermarkets two of them which are shoprites to go to this particular one. Its not just what they carry, but the employees as well. This is a great all around supermarket.

I Love shopping there. They practice good safety measures. All the isles are identified with nice big signs.The produce and meat is always fresh.

Honestly really disappointed. My foreign mother was not used to the function of COVID-19 shopping. She didn’t realize there was a line and mistakingly cut through. Later she was scolded by the employees managing the line. I overheard the employees gossip about the incident too. Shoprite employees are usually very kind, but these few showed no respect to my mother. I understand it’s to keep the community safe, but there were many more ways to let my mother know her mistake. I’m honestly disgusted.

Shopping at Shoprite on Livingston Avenue is much comfortable for me besides that the staffs are friendly .

I dont know how this place accepts payments but it seems like they will take something as simple as a card number for purchases. My wife and I live in North Carolina and we do not know anyone in New Jersey. We have the only two debit cards linked to our checking account and yet somehow a purchase was still made from our account at this location. I just wanted to reach out to inform local customers of this.

Beware of the seafood dept! I went there to get salmon which was fresh. But something else there was spoiled/rotten and had a really bad smell. I literally gagged and wanted to puke. I told the attendant but he just shrugged his shoulders.

I love this store. I live 3 mins away, so it’s always my go to. I love Novelette. She’s been there since I lived in Livingston. There’s a new girl who is very rude at self check out. She always approaches me and asks me did I scan everything and it very annoying.

Because of my disability, carts are available and charge for Shopping. Only Shoprite I have visited with this standard of returning carts and pluging in socket when finish.

ShopRite of Livingston - small store, great selection and ample parking. The staff is helpful and efficient. Checkout is always a breeze, and with the addition of a few new self checkout kiosks, its now easier to get in and out in a jiffy. The food from the hot bar isnt bad either.

Great store! Everything a standard grocery store has an more: actually good made foods, a huge kosher section and large plastic bags (I always use reusable bags but those in ShopRite are just large enough to use in my trash baskets) I drive extra 20 mins just for this store. Love it.

Well stocked. Has most of the same things West Orange ShopRite does. Its a little brighter aisles feel wider but I didnt measure them. I think the deli lunch area is bigger and feels welcoming.

Wow! recently upgraded Express Checkout line. The parking lot was full today on a Saturday afternoon, but I was able to check out without wait!!! food was always fresh, organized and wide selections. thumbs up for my neighborhood supermarket!
