We just moved from Philadelphia and had a really hard time locating a store that sells all of my husbands favorite Russian Delicacies, luckily we found Prime Foods Market that has EVERYTHING! Including Freshly Baked Russian Breads, Caviar, Salads, and very wide range of Packaged, Dry, and Ready To Eat Foods.We are very happy and will definitely be back!

I moved to North Jersey last year during the pandemic from Brooklyn, and its been hard trying to live without Netcost or Cherry Hill nearby. This is what I was looking for when I went to Prime Foods Market. They are like a mini version of a Russian supermarket, and their food quality is great. They bake fresh black bread and it tastes amazing. I also enjoyed their beet salad with garlic, samsas, blintzes, and medovik honey cake. They have so many foods they prepare there fresh, and I was impressed. I also found a lot of candy I had been looking for for a while, like Georgian Churchkhela, and the little chocolates like mishka kosolapy. I was happy to be able to see and buy these things easily again, and Ill definitely be back. What would really round this place out is a produce area, because I miss the produce selection at Russian supermarkets, but I understand that there isnt much space and it limits the selection of products.

Wide assortment of eastern European food. Exceptional service. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Perhaps, the best store of the kind in at least Essex and nearby counties. Highly recommend!

If youre looking for Eastern European and Russian food, this is probably a place to come by and check out. They have a lot of different kinds of ethic imported food. While its a bit quiet on a Sunday morning, that let us ask a few questions. I get the feeling youre probably have better service you can speak Russian.

If you let your people go and close the store earlier than 5pm on Sunday or any other day then go ahead and change the working hours accordingly, otherwise you confuse people who live nearby and may consider coming even if its 15 minutes before closure! It has been several times already when I arrived just to kiss the lock of your store! Cmon, its not an appointment practice or any other professional office when you can just close doors earlier when all of the work is done, you must stick to the schedule!

Its my first time reviewing this place but not the first time shopping there and being stuck with some spoiled and rotten food. Mostly, its the prepared meats and the food they cook on premises.This had happened to me several times: rotten cold cuts, moldy feta cheese, sour smelling chicken liver salad, etc. The list goes on and on.The deli meat I bought yesterday had a foul smell as soon as I opened the package at home. How can a person serving me could not detect the rotten smell is mind-boggling. This is just not acceptable.I wish I could shove that piece of rotten and disgusting meat under the owners nose but its way too far to go back there to return.Why do I continue to shop there, you may ask? Well, it does have some unique imported European delicacies that my family loves, and the store is located within a relatively short distance from my work.I believe we had issues with the prepared food practically every time, either on the same day or the very next day.If I could rate this place a negative 100, I would. There, I said my piece.

Have been visiting the store on and off for over a decade, perhaps even longer. Like their consistent selection of typical Russian food items both hot and cold. Turnaround is good so the food items are usually fresh.Experienced a few minor hiccups in service but nothing that would cause me to leave a bad review or avoid shopping there. Things happen, we are all humans.Overall the service team is very friendly and offers help based on availability. Cold cuts section gets busy at times but never too long.Prices are higher than average in Brooklyn but not by much, still beat a trip for me.Access to the store is easy and well marked off the rt10. There is lots of parking in the back so I never even once had a problem getting a spot.

Ive been coming here with my parents my whole life. It has gone through many changes, from a store redesign to a complete staff change, but it still has wonderful products from Russia, Ukraine, and other European countries, and the staff is friendly and soon enough youll be calling everyone by their first names and chat like old friends. There is a large selection, decent prices, and products that you probably wont find anywhere else, or at least anywhere near here.

Nice, pretty decent size store of European and Russian delicacies with a large selection and friendly service. Salamis, cheeses, salads, pickled and cooked food, desserts, fresh bread, canned items, etc. - list goes on and on. I’m a long time customer of this store.

This is Russian grocery and deli store. They have amazing Russian cake called Kiev and I also like their cabbage salad. They have other yummies too.

The worse place ever. From not training they employee; to the people from kitchen trying to tell me how to eat my food ( Frozen is not a option); to the manager, that dont know how to handle anything. She dont know how to teach the menu, neither know how to check food or teach them that frozen food is not appropriate. And they talking BS from kitchen, SMH!!! Shameful place. Not even coming back, NOT EVEN for a CUP of COFFEE

Excellent prepared food. On the pricey side of ethnic food

Earlier this afternoon, I went and bought some of their pastries, known as strudels. After I got home, I peeled off the crust and noticed a huge piece of mold all over the crust of the strudel. My family and I already ate 2 out of the 3 pieces there. We both had upset stomach hours later. Also I went to this market a few weeks ago and noticed one of their staff ripping off an old price tag of a food product before attaching a new price tag with a new expiration date. Another one of the staff rubbed his nose while handling the food without wearing any gloves. I wished I had remembered what I saw before deciding to buy their foods today.This market is highly unsanitary and disgusting! I hope my family and I dont need to go to ER tonight after eating that strudel.

It was our second time at this store. And another bad experience. Weve been waiting 15 min to pay bc the lady was talking to another co-worker. We found items which are already expired. If you wanna get some candies for your kids think and check twice before make a purchase.
