Bonnie and another seamstress worked very closely with me to make sure this dress was tailored by the date of my wedding. They were diligent, very supportive, and produced great work. I bought the only sample they had in the store for a discount. Even in a small two month time frame they hemmed the dressed, did a little nip and tuck in the back, and redid the bustle. I would highly recommend them for their dresses but also for their expertise. Thank you!
Allure Bridal Salon is the absolute best!!! Quality dresses and great prices! But above all the customer service is absolutely amazing!!!! Rita goes above and beyond to see that you are happy and she really cares about all the details! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!! Love my dress- but the alterations were incomplete. The ONLY hiccup in my wedding day was my dress not fitting properly, and I brought up the issue at every one of my fittings. I was very surprised by this because of the attentiveness I had received during my four fittings. Feeling like my concerns were ignored after so many wonderful interactions made me even more disappointed. Over all though, the experience was pleasant, the staff is kind and make you feel comfortable. My husband and I loved my dress.
All sales are final even if it doesn’t fit after alterations - wish someone told me that before I paid $500! I bought a dress two days ago and at first I was really happy. It was short and fun, a little out of my price range but I was in a hurry as I get married tomorrow and the dress I from ordered somewhere else didn’t fit! They rushed the alterations on the dress for me which I was super grateful for but when I had a small problem with the dress (it started to rip when I took a deep breath because it was still too small.) the woman working on the dress got visibly upset and started yelling. I have no memory of their seamstress taking any measurements with an actual tape measure and when I asked if they needed any they told me she already had them so I guess that should have been my first red flag. I have anxiety so when she started yelling I got really uncomfortable and decided to just leave. Unfortunately, they make you pay for everything before doing any alterations and now I can’t get a refund. I have no money for a new dress now either because this was so out of my price range. I hoped when I asked for the cups to be smaller because I have a small chest they actually adjusted the dress because it had built in boning and it makes my tiny chest disappear completely. So disappointed.
Nice people only issue was communication is went last week to pick up my dress thinking I could then when I got there they said I couldnt Because not all the alterations are done and id have to come back knowing I like on the west coast of the state
Seems dishonest.Ordered and paid for a bridesmaid dress in full in November. The bride decided to postpone her wedding due to covid until 2022 and we cant get a refund. According to an employee the dresses havent even been ORDERED yet (its January FYI, so I dont know what they are waiting for since they have had my money). According to the owner they have been ordered and cant make changes.Then the owner said she can refund half of my money?? Not sure what that does if my dress doesnt fit by then.She also asked if I wanted to change the size of my dress. I thought it was ordered and no changes? She said she has 7 days within ordering to change the size of the dress. So again, what she is saying - isnt making sense. Also not sure why a dress that was paid for so long ago, was just ordered this week.After this wedding, I will not be back in this store and will not recommend.You would think with the state of the world right now, they would be a little more understanding and accommodating. But its mostly the constantly changing story that makes me have a bad taste for this place.

I found out about this Bridal Salon on The Knot and made an appointment to try on Wedding Dresses. When I arrived, everyone greeted me very nicely and Bonnie immediately started helping me pick out dresses to try on. They have some very beautiful Wedding Dresses, but the reason Im giving them 3 stars is because they were pretty busy and needed some help. While I tried on Wedding Dresses, I was left alone a few times and needed help getting in some of the dresses I tried on and had to wait for someone to come back and help me. I also felt a bit rushed and unattended to as I had certain questions and they would just give a bland answer at times. At the same time, they were nice and tried to do their best I believe, but Ive gone to other Bridal Salons and recevied much better customer service so I guess Im a little spoiled. Maybe if I went through the week, it wouldve been better, but if you go on the weekend, just be prepared to work alone.
The girls here are wonderful! Bonnie helped me and was so nice and accommodating. She understood exactly what I wanted. Their selection is great with the most stunning dresses even on sale. Prices were great, the girls were great, the selection was great.. EVERYTHING was great and I’d give them 6 stars out of 5 if I could.Thank you for not only helping me find the one; But also picking it out for me Bonnie! After purchasing my dress at a different bridal salon, they abruptly put a sign on their door that they were permanently closed. I found out the dress I fell in love with was an Allure dress, so the women here helped me find it and reorder it. They were amazing! I was so happy to get my dream dress and it was all thanks to Allure Bridal Salon. I highly recommend them!
This place may not look like the most glitzy, over the top bridal shop in the area, but their amazing dress selection and laid back atmosphere completely and absolutely make up for it. Going here after multiple more high strung bridal salons was like a breath of fresh air. My consultant made me feel relaxed, listened to what I was saying, and helped me find the perfect dress for me. They are not pushy, let you make your own decisions, take your time, and scheduling with them is super easy whether it’s just to try on your dress with new accessories, or go in for fittings. We ended up buying bridesmaid dresses here as well, since they have an awesome and large selection as well. They take care of you from start to finish! Plus their pricing on dresses and alterations are super reasonable. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for their own wedding dress or a bridesmaid dress!

This salon is amazing. The staff are so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. With all the wedding stress, they sure know how to put a brides mind at ease! We dont have a lot of time until our wedding, and just ordered our bridesmaid dresses. They were so accommodating. We called them an HOUR before close, and asked them if they had a dress I was looking for. By the time the 7 of us arrived, they had it pulled and ready to try on. They measured 5 girls quickly, and were already able to tell me an estimated arrival time (we just placed the order on the 31st). They even gave me swatches of the colors so that we could match the tuxedos and accessories. If i could give more than 5 stars I would!
Purchased a special occasion gown from here for an event I had and everything turned out perfectly. Great service and Rita does everything she can to ensure you look and feel great in your gown! They are professional and upfront about possible alteration costs and go over sizing before ordering your dress.
I absolutely love my wedding gown from Allure Bridal! I was referred to them by a friend who bought her wedding gown there, and I was so pleased with their dress options and service. I ended up having my dress customized by adding straps and a belt, and they did such a wonderful job with alterations as well. They were super helpful and accommodating and allowed me to have several fittings to make sure that everything fit perfectly. For my wedding, I received so many compliments on my dress, and I truly felt wonderful in it throughout the whole night. I highly recommend this bridal salon!

What a fantastic experience!! I found my gorgeous wedding dress here at Allure Bridal after 2 other stores failed to impress. Do not let the lack of curb appeal distract you from this shop. The women working inside have a heart of gold and are more than willing to work with you within your budget. I tried on a dress that was WAY out of budget and they graciously discounted my gown so I could leave with the dress of my dreams. Simply Wonderful! Excited for my gown to arrive.
Amazing bridal salon and service. I’m very picky and still haven’t found “the dress,” but this salon has an amazing selection of gowns that are reasonably priced with phenomenal customer service. Bonnie was very patient with me as I tried on about a dozen gowns and actually listened to my feedback and would bring back gowns tailored to my needs without pushing her own agenda on me. She was very polite the entire time. And although I didn’t find my gown, her and Rita were kind enough to write down the exact style and designer of gown that I was looking for (they had just sold it to another client) and encouraged me to call around to other shops for it. That just proves they care about the customer and ensuring they get what they want. I would recommend anyone to go and search here for their perfect dress!!!
I can honestly say that I don’t have enough words to even begin to explain how amazing Allure is & was for me. It was the first store I went to, to look for my bridal gown & it was also the only one; because by the 3rd gown I had tried on there I fell in love. Bonnie was so sweet, helpful & found my dream gown in a matter of minutes. Then I had the opportunity of working with Rita, who made sure every stitch was where it needed to be for my figure. Their patience, kindness & outstanding professionalism never faltered. Not even when I thought what I needed was what they had already suggested, but I initially resisted. When all was said & done, every suggestion they made, I went with & am so glad I did; because they were 100% right! My dress was breathtaking, I was getting compliments in it all day & night, & it made me feel beautiful! I highly recommend Allure & trust me when I say that you won’t regret it.
I go to Allure Bridal for all of my special occasion needs. They have a great selection! Everyone there is so helpful. I especially love dealing with the owner she is always very helpful and seems to really care about her customers and making sure that they are fully satisfied. She’s very genuine and that means a lot to me.
My mother and I were around the area yesterday and walked in hoping to try on some wedding dresses as a walk-in. The bridal salon did not cause a fuss. They were so welcoming and accommodating to us. I had a good experience at Allure bridals in Livonia. I had 7 bridesmaids and we found and ordered dresses from there. I ordered my wedding dress from Allure too. It was absolutely beautiful! I loved it. We got all the dresses back in enough time for alterations. Most of my bridesmaids and myself are out of state, so they were helpful in accommodating us and payments over the phone, fittings when in town, etc. They steamed my dress and veil, which I got from there too, and made sure the alterations were perfect before I left with it. Bonnie and Rita were especially helpful. Thank you!

I would highly recommend this salon to any bride in the area! Rita and the staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. They are often very busy, but do an excellent job of making sure you are receiving terrific customer service. I brought in a few photos of things I liked and Rita was able to pull 5 dresses immediately for me that I LOVED. She chose a veil for me that was a gorgeous compliment to my wedding gown as well. I was so impressed with how wonderful the ladies were each and every time I went in - to choose the dress, get fitted, and ultimately to have it preserved. I tried Davids Bridal and felt like a number. I showed the Davids Bridal staff the same photos I showed Rita and everything they came back with was heinous. If I had to do it all over again, I would never even bother with another salon! Allure Bridal is the BEST!
Bonnie and Rita rip people off when it comes to alterations. I read other reviews about other brides and their experience with the bridesmaid dresses and I should’ve listened. If you shop here they have a nice variety of dresses but DO NOT ORDER your bridesmaids dresses from here or you will be ripped off. Make sure you get everything on paper because they change the prices from what they originally quote you.
I came in without an appointment just to look around. Rita immediately showed me around and pointed out some dresses that I might like. She offered to let me try on a bunch. I loved her opinions and I came back a few days later with my MOH. We decided to try on more dresses and she was so helpful! I really loved the way Rita went out of her way for me multiple times. Highly recommend!!
Worst experience ever! Went in for my first fitting for a bridesmaids dress. Gave my measurements, they advised I buy extra long dress. Mind you, I dont stand in weddings often so I dont know the protocol. I tried my dress on (after driving 45 minutes to get there) and they refused to do my fitting because I didnt have my shoes with me. I asked why I wasnt reminded to bring my shoes when I made this appointment. There were several shoes there I could have tried on and matched the heel length with later. They refused. The response I got was Its common sense to bring shoes and if I dont like the service I can take it somewhere else. I decided to give them one more chance, so I scheduled another appointment for a fitting and hemming was needed. This time I brought my shoes. They told me they were taking 5 inches off of my dress (after advising me to purchase the extra long dress which was an extra 6 inches). I found this odd. I came to pick up my dress 4 days before the wedding and maybe 1 was taken off the hem. I ended up having to deal with the dress for the wedding and having to hold the dress in one hand while i held the bouquet in the other (while walking down the alter). I wouldnt be so frustrated if they didnt make me pay for the extra length and then pay for the extra hem (which was never done).This place is a scam and the service is terrible! I recommend looking elsewhere.
I had a great time at Allure Bridal today! I showed Bonnie, a store associate, a picture of a dress a liked and she found one that was similar and I found a few others and tried them on. I liked the one she found the best! She was very nice and I felt very comfortable there. They had a nice selection of sample/discount dresses too.
I was fitted for a brides maids dress for a wedding I will be in September 2017. We came to try the dress on and there was some issues with my dress. Rita, the owner was more than happy to help in any way she possibly could to resolve any issues we had. I would recommend alure to anyone. Thank you Rita!
If I could give zero stars I would! They made all my bridesmaids order a size too large just so they could make money off doing their alterations. They should have ordered a size smaller for all my girls! Dresses should not full off when measurements are done correctly! Do not get your bridesmaids dresses here!

I have been to Allure a few times now. I bought my wedding dress there back in 2013 and Im now back to buy a bridesmaid dress. They have such reasonable prices and such a nice selection of dresses in stock. I have had to get alterations in both my wedding dress, which had to get taken down three or four sizes because of weight loss, and my bridesmaid dress to make sure if fit perfectly to me(we all know its unrealistic for a dress to fit perfectly to you when they get made in a warehouse miles away). Both dresses came out absolutely perfect! Even my wedding dress that basicslly had to be completely reconstructed. I recommend this place to all my friends and I always look forward to working with them!
I am going to be in a wedding in August and the bridal party wanted to give our business to a local shop so we chose Allure. When we went for our appointment, we were given a lot of space to peruse the shelves and it was a fun experience. The selection was ok, not a lot to chose from, but enough for us all to find a dress that matched the brides vision and complemented all of our bodies. After we picked out the dress, it all went downhill. I was convinced to get a dress one size larger than what I needed (and what I thought I should get) because our consultant said that was the one that would fit best due to how the sizes ran. She measured our height and leg length so we all assumed that the dresses were being ordered with our specific heights included. One girl in our party was also convinced to pay extra for added length on her dress.Once our dresses came in, no ones fit properly. My dress was about two inches too loose in the bust, in the waist, and in the hips. It was also about 6 inches too long. When I went into the shop to have my dress altered, the staff was very rude and tried to convince me that I must have just lost weight and that is why the dress doesnt fit properly (Ive actually gained weight) instead of it being their staffs fault for suggesting I get the incorrect size. They also were rude about the fact that the dress was so long and said that all of the dresses come the same length and need to be tailored. This is totally fine and I would have probably bought the dress anyways if I had been told that up front, but the fact that it wasnt mentioned at the time I purchased the dress and then the staff was rude to me about it after the fact made me very frustrated. Also, the woman in my party that was convinced to buy extra length for her dress wound up with a dress that was extremely too long and found out after the fact that the original length of her dress would have still needed to be altered. The shop refused to refund her any money, despite it being their error, and were still going to charge her for the length alteration. They were also rude to her when she was there. We have all taken our business elsewhere for the alterationsI have now had to pay $160 in alterations to fix how poorly my dress fit. I am very disappointed in how I was treated and I feel like I was taken advantage of by being convinced by the staff to get the wrong size (with them knowing I would have to get alterations and they would be getting more of my money) and that it was hidden from me that the length was going to need alterations regardless. I will not be returning here and I wouldnt recommend coming here.
I am a bridesmaid in an upcoming wedding and because I dont live near Allure, I was told to get measured somewhere else and call in my measurements to them. When I called them in, Allure told me which size to order based on my measurements, so I did. When the dress came in it was WAY too small. I said that they must have suggested the wrong size and asked them several times to please exchange it. They refused, so I asked them what they usually do in this situation, and they said that they recommend that I just switch my dress with another bridesmaid that has the dress that I need (as if another bridesmaid would just be able to fit into whatever size dress!). Eventually I ended up calling the dress designer and they said theyd be willing to exchange it for a $50 restocking fee, which I was willing to pay. I went into Allure and paid the $50 and my dress came in about 3 months later. When I came to pick it up, I was asked for payment again. When I told the lady that I had already paid, she was rude and very insistent that I had not. Finally, I was able to pull up the credit card transaction showing that I had paid the $50 before. She didnt apologize or anything. Everyone that I had to deal with at this shop was rude and unwilling to help with anything. DO NOT GO HERE!
Nice little shop. However, they were unable to achieve the changes that actually needed to be made on the bridesmaids dresses. Cost for alternation did not reflect work done. It was the same cost whether it was a lot of change or a little.
Ldies beware this store only carries up to a size 12 JUNIOR cut in the store. Meaning if you are over a womens size 9-10 you will not be able to try on a dress in the store. They will measure and order for you. It took about 3 months to get our bridesmaids dresses back. I would much rather go to Davids Bridal.
Was looking for bridal gowns there, they have a great selection. Disappointed they would not let you take pictures of yourself in their dress. Pictures speak a thousand words, and being that those are very important on your big day, I didnt want to make the purchase without seeing what I would look like in pictures. So I tried it on at a different shop, it ended up being the dress, so I bought it there instead.

Rita was wonderful! She listened to what I was saying about each dress and was able to pinpoint the one for me. She knows her stuff!! I could not be happier that this shop made shopping really simple for me.
Make sure to check every inch of your receipt!! i was told very clearly my balance was 0 and it was written clearly on the receipt that i owed nothing. however, when i went to pick it up they pointed at a couple of random numbers and scratches in the corner and said that was what i had left to pay, even though when i paid in full they said alterations were already included. the fact that the alterations were not included was not made clear. in fact the only thing that was made clear was that my remaining balance was 0. would not reccomend because i feel i have been scammed.

After searching countless days and hours for the perfect dress, my mother in law suggested we stop at Allure Bridal Salon. I had had no luck with any other bridal store in the major cities like Ann Arbor or Novi, so I was praying that Allure would have something. Especially considering we had planned this wedding within a month time span and it was almost 2 weeks away from the big day!I walked in and everyone made me feel so welcomed! I felt they truly cared about my big day and would do the best they could to help me find the dress of my dreams. After trying on their beautiful gowns, from mermaid styles to ball gown styles, I finally found my perfect fit! I knew as soon as the last button was fixated that this dress was it!The ladies at Allure really made me feel cared for. They even worked with my budget and set up payments so I could purchase the dress in time for the wedding. The alterations were also phenomenal, it was like the dress was designed that way in the first place.I just want to say a HHHUUUUGGEEEE thank you again to all the ladies who helped me. You truly made my day that much more lovely and I couldnt be more grateful!I HIGHLY recommend any bride to be, bridesmaid, mother of the bride etc to swing by this store and experience the level of customer service they have. Terrible service, bad selection. My sister, mother and I (the bride) went into this store looking for a Mother of the Bride dress. I am from out of town and purchased my dress elsewhere. When we walked in, a woman was sitting at a desk and did not look up at us. Another employee walked by us to put dresses back. She said hello and kept walking. I had to stop her and tell her what we were looking for. She pointed to a small rack of dresses in zipped bags then walked away. We looked through the rack a little but it was difficult because of the bags. Also, the dresses were very out of date. Not even my grandmother would wear anything I saw on that rack. We left, nobody thanked us for stopping in.
Rita and her crew are amazing!!!!! :-) My mother and I went looking for dresses here the end of April and we walked right in and Rita took us on!! We had been at a couple other places where we had to wait and they even turned us down. My budget for a wedding dress was more for like a clearance davids bridal type of deal and after we mentioned that to Rita she found the perfect dress for me and gave us a huge discount on it, I couldnt believe it, I was so happy! We didnt make it in time to be able to take the dress home because im short and I needed a huge alteration on it but I am so excited to go back in June and get it, I just know it will be perfect!!!! Not only was the alteration lady awesome and thorough but Rita herself came over as the lady was cutting to check everything over and make sure it was perfect!!!!!! The service here is outstanding and although allot of ladies do not want to spend like crazy on in their dress especially having to pay for a wedding, this is the place to go!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much ladies for the amazing service and the special treatment!!!!

The women were nice however I was somewhat dissatisfied with the way my dress came out. First they gave me the wrong sized cups, then they made it too tight. I could tell they were getting frustrated at me and the fact that they scheduled my next fitting super close to my event bothered me. It was almost like they did it so I couldnt get altered again if necessary. When I came back the dress did fit better, but looking at the photo albums, the white lining was showing and it just didnt look flattering.
DO NOT GO HERE!! They are awful, they hardly speaking English and it very hard to understand what they are saying. I had put a dress on layaway with them and ended up getting an offer to have a dress donated to me. I called the salon to see what could be done. They told me they could do nothing because the dress had been sitting in the back for 2 months and could no longer be sold. I asked why they could not put a dress that be better be in the same condition it was when I originally put it on layaway. I asked what they had done to it, that they would still be willing to give it to me, but not put it back on their racks!!! They of course had no explanation. I knew I would not be able to get all my money back but thought I would be able to use the money as store credit. They would not allow me to and again had no explanation. After a lot of arguing they eventually told me they would contact the owner of the store. After they finally contacted me back, they still would not help me. I repeat, do NOOOOOOT go here!
If you are svelte and you like the popular style of dresses (A-line, e.g.), this shop has plenty. If you are fuller figured and want something other than A-line, this shop is not for you.The woman I worked with, Bonnie, said that their salon has the largest number of dresses for fuller-figured women in the area. I found this shocking, as this rack contained maybe 20 dresses. And these 20 dresses seemed to be slightly larger than average. Not 12s, but 14s. If someone came in here and were above a size 18, maybe, there would be nothing to try on. If there were something, were talking one dress. Hope you like that style...When trying on dresses, I was generally left to myself in the dressing room. Some of these dresses are very complex to get into, and I would have appreciated the help and perhaps even conversation. Ultimately, I felt like I was nuisance to them and they werent excited about my being there. This contributed to my lack of excitement about being there.Between their attitude and selection, Im afraid to say that I walked out of the store feeling really badly about myself and my body.I decided to give this business two stars instead of one because Im not sure my experience represents the average experience. Again, if you are skinny and you come in here, youll be fine. If you are average-sized... hmm... probably okay? But if youre even slightly over average, eek. Im just a scotch over average--that their offerings for me were so limited, both in number and style (again, all A-line), I find disappointing. And that they didnt seem to think it was a problem that they limit larger girls to a tiny rack of cookie cutter dresses... even worse.I went from here to Bombshell Bridal. SO glad I did.

First let me say I am very anal and picky and do a lot of research before doing anything. With that being said, I had the best experience here! Rita the owner was more than accommodating. I purchased my gorgeous wedding dress from here and wanted to purchase bridesmaid dress from here but found one online instead. She ordered it for me cheaper then the selling price on the internet. Im very petite and she measured me perfectly I didnt have to change anything on the dress. Every time I went in she greeted me with a smile even though I can see she was slammed. I am pretty surprised to see these one stars but in Ritas defense she tells you before you order the dress their is no refund. Which is VERY understandable. Every dress is ordered to each individuals size. I have a business so I can understand their are somethings that have to be done the way they are in order to stay in business. Rita and her employees are very proud and passionate about what they do. They love making you feel like your wedding day is very special. They were very quick, professional and so sweet.
