Absolutely massive selection of games, these are not your grandpa and grandmas games, these are the fun new games you havent yet tried. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and for being as young as they are know a TON about all the games.They are mostly known for the board games, and Magic the gathering it seems, but they do have pokemon singles and boosters as well. If you need anything for your gaming hobbies, I would highly recommend checking this place out.

I was Trading in some cards and the offer they made was a complete joke. 20% of market value. Pawn stars doesn’t low ball people like that. In the past, I have had very positive experiences here. They have truly changed. I would not go back

This shop is more along the lines of a gaming shop, in my opinion. There was little to none, in the ways of radio controlled vehicles, model railroads, or slot cars. With that being said, I would recommend it to everyone that knows someone into roll playing or card games. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the inventory and the product associated with gaming. If you have the chance stop in and check them out. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

I sat down debating if it was worth purchasing a Pokémon card for over 30 minutes in the store, and they were super helpful throughout the process. They also gave me the best trade-in value for my cards in comparison to other game stores within the area. They had my curiosity, but now they have my business as a customer.

Such a fantastic store! Tons of board games with a variety of things to look at and buy. Stuff involving MTG, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pokemon, as well as DND, Pathfinder, and other hobbies that someone might be interested in.

The people here are always friendly and knowledgable. Most of the time they have whatever you are looking for, and if they dont, nowhere else will either. The free to try games in the back are fun, and there is plenty of space to play games with friends.

Wonderful, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Great selection, and if they dont have it, they can often order it for you. During the shutdown, I was able to place an order through email, pay with PayPal, and pick up curbside.

I really like this place. Open and clean space and friendly staff. No one gives me that whole what are you buying for you boyfriend speech when I walk up to the counter. Its about a 45 minute drive from my apartment, but RIW is worth it. Just overall a great shop!

They blew my mind with the extensive selection of games, minis, TCGs and accessories they carry!! The only thing that out shinnned their selections was the indepth knowledge and courtesy shown at the front desk. Kudos to the hobby shop thats doing it right!

Great selection, definitely in the top 3 for board game selection in Michigan (my choice for going into game stores).Used to hate dealing with feeling second fiddle to any Magic: The Gathering customers around, but in the last few years since changing storefronts, theyve done a lot better job catering to board gamers/RPG players as WELL as their bread and butter Magic customers.

For a store that promises not to scalp their market, they didnt live up to that to that expectation. Charging 140 for an ETB of Shining Fates on release is unacceptable when local competitors are selling between 90-125 per box, which is still far above MSRP. Outrageous pricing and not at all a Fair market price. Disappointed to say the least.

They have a lovely covid protocol and the shop is VERY clean. I will emphasis clean again because everything has its place. The store is not messy in anyway and youll be able to find any quality gaming item that youre looking for.

Fantastic store, owner was there, she was very helpful, took time to help me pick out items i wanted. Got MTG for myself and took recommendations on a couple different Lego sets for the kids. Would highly recommend. Well sorted too. Very knowledgable about MTG.

Went in to sell some old MTG cards and the associate who appraised them was very helpful. Unfortunately many of mine were damaged, and I didnt end up taking their offer but I would highly recommend RIW if you want to sell your valuable cards! They also have very strict and clear social distancing policies in place, as well as sanitizing stations.

Everything is MSRP unfortunately, but that is the norm for brick and mortar stores.I have stopped in at dozens of stores throughout the midwest and RIW was the first to be able to give me any useful information regarding the 2018 Lookout reprint of 1830. No one else had even heard about it. That was very much appreciated.

Owner and staff are always helpful and polite. Always received good service and helpful suggestions. Store is clean and well organized. For some reason Star Wars Legion is 7 to 10 dollars more than other stores.

They have a ton of cool stuff. Staff is friendly. Pricing on the other hand is a bit high. No better than buying from scalpers. (Especially on Pokémon tcg and yugioh) the sword and shield premium box was $150. Yugioh booster boxes start at $75 . Honestly I get better pricing on collectors cache ..... probably won’t be back here until pricing is closer to msrp.

This store is so great. I love the atmosphere here. Theyre curbside pickup setup is really nice and its a great setup. The only thing I wish they did for it was post their hours for pickup somewhere like their Facebook page or on their website. Sometimes it can be really hard to get an answer about when theyre available.

Wow. Ive been to several card shops in the Ann Arbor area but have never to this shop until today based on a recommendation by a friend. Erica and Jeff created one of the best experiences I have had at a card shop. They both worked together to get the 100 cards I needed, made me feel welcome, and are easily faster than any shop in Ann Arbor. I will definitely be back thanks to their wonderful attitudes and knowledge. Also the price was fair, so big bonus. Highly recommend for any hobby or collectible card gaming needs.

I like the new location, it has a nice sized play area that is separate from the main store. They have a large selection of games for purchase and a large amount of MTG singles and supplies. Worth checking out.

If your thinking about going to RIW and buying something with the store credit which you have obtained by selling them your goods (which they have profited from) don’t bother! They will deny your “store credit” towards any sale prices(including Black Friday sales!). In other words you store credit is not the same as cash here at this store. Because of this RIW has lost my business.

Huge price gouging on release dates. Their excuse was, “that the prices online.” When you could go to target and get it for a 1/3 of the price.

This place is my jam. The people who own it have been great since day one. Recently went to game night (currently Wednesdays as of February 2020) and the selection is great! Say hi to Amir, he will help you with setting up and explaining rules for games hes played. Would go back.

Always a nice place to go. Great selection for the nerdier hobbies like boardgames, mini figures, and card games. Mostly focused on Magic the Gathering. The staff is usually nice and helpful. Clientele can be smelly sometimes, but that just comes with the territory, unfortunately.
