I have gone in this store several times as i am just getting started in leather crafting. The employees have been friendly and Knowledgeable. But the manager David has gone out of his way numerous times to help me understand what i was buying, what they were used for and has given me full on demonstrations to show me exactly how something works and what something does. Cant recommend him and the store enough.

My husband and I are brand new to creating with leather. Dave was so knowledgeable and took so much time to show us tools and explain their use. He even let us try them out so we knew which ones would be best for us and our budget. We have found a new passion and Dave and the Tandy store has allowed us to take this hobby to the next level. Thank you so much that we could come into the store and get so much more help then just ordering online. We will be back😁

I walked in looking for some leather dye for some items I have. Everyone who worked there was friendly, but especially the man who attended me. He listened to me describe my project, then offered some solutions. He gave some really good advice, especially because he knew my project was not going to be easy. He was super helpful. I took his suggestions, then walked around and picked up a couple of other items. I will definitely be going back.

It was my first time visiting a leather shop and I was interested in making my own purse from scratch, David the store manager took excellent care of me and made sure I had everything I needed and provided plenty of advice! I will be a returning customer!

I called in a partial order the day before and then went in to shop for the rest of what I needed. David took very good care of me over the phone as well as in the store and he had everything set aside for me before I arrived. We were greeted enthusiastically as soon as we walked in!I have been to this store one time previously years ago and I cannot even remember what for, but it was well stocked.This time around it was very easy to navigate the store and it was still well-stocked. I will definition be going back in the near future. It was also clean and well-organized. Very highly recommended!

I went here with my Mom, shes very new to leatherwork and essentially needed EVERYTHING!David was exceptional. He knows so very much about leatherwork and what types work best for beginners, or specific projects, which rivets or grommets youll need.If youre new to leather and worry about feeling intimidated, or like theyre going to talk to you into spending more than you need, David actually helped my Mom get MORE leather than she was planning to get and she spent $20 less than she budgeted for!

I love this store. Not just because it caters to my craft, but because its a place where I can find solutions to common problems I run into while leather working. The staff is experienced and very knowledgeable and they freely offer good advice. They always point me to the right tool at the best price.Best of all, theyre honest. I can trust that if they tell me I need a particular tool, I really do need it. Because numerous times, when I didnt a tool, they told me not to waste the money.Trust is something you just cannot buy. And the team at this store has repeatedly earned my trust.(I do not, and have never had, affiliation with this or any Tandy store.)

Theres no basis for comparison, as theyre the only leather shop Ive ever been to. I have no complaints about the service. The remnant that didnt register on the scale, they threw in for free with the rest of our purchase. They answered all of our questions. They have some really interesting colored leather and some historically accurate. They have a large range of stock, from pig skin suitable for fashion gloves to inch thick cowhide to rabbit fur. And thats just the common stuff. They also have alligator hide and I forget what else.Its a cool place, which I will be revisiting the next time I pass by after Christmas. The only two complaints are being out of the way and the price, but theyve got to make a living, right?

If there was a way to give them 6 stars, I would! Chris and Dave give excellent ideas and on leather crafting.This makes me buy more goods because I feel confident in doing bigger and more complicated projects. The store has excellent product selection and when they have a sale, its a pretty big deal! I would like to see more open leather crafting time and would be willing to buy any of the supplies needed for my project. Hats off to you guys at Tandy, Illl see you guys soon, probably later today!

Cool store with lots of stuff for leatherworking. The staff was very helpful, no pressure, and seemed very knowledgeable. Also the prices were quite good. Ill be back.
