I am not sure whats going on with the Looney bakery these days. Today I had a custard donut with literally one and a half tablespoons of custard. Whoever is making the custard chocolate eclairs need to put a little bit more love into them. I am writing this today because this has been happening more and more never used to be this way. Always out of the bow tie donuts for 9:00 a.m. love those donuts. Just dont understand why and theyre always sold out why they dont make more knowing that they sell out so fast. All in all still make the best donuts.

My favorite donuts ever. I love the blueberry and cherry donuts. They have a great selection of cake donuts. My husband loves the turn overs. Their service is always amazing. I cannot wait til they open up 24 hours again because I loved going for a late night snack

Very much so a donut shop. I thought they would have more pastries considering the name. Good selection of donuts, apple fritters, apple cinnamon, pumpkin, classic, etc. Service was kind. Indoor dining is currently closed. Donuts are fresh.

Great selection and good prices. My first visit here in about 25 years or so. I used to come here quite frequently when I lived less than a mile away. Nice to see that they still have great customer service!

The bakery almost sent my child into a potentially life threatening situation by sloppy and uneducated management.. My child has food allergies and it took me asking 3 separate times before they realized egg was in their doughnuts.

Cinnamon rolls are definitely a favorite, they are almost at big as my face! Service is great and staff is always friendly.

For an easy treat we drive through service with our three grandchildren. Yummy fun😁

Im from the Saginaw area, I had a boss bring these in for a big morning meeting and these are hands down some of these best donuts I have ever had. Glad they arent any closer to me, I would eat them too much! Lol

This bakery has been around for years, thankfully! I’m now a Texas resident, but I will definitely be taking a trip, or two to Looney’s each time I visit home. Please stay open forever! We appreciate you all.

I didnt like having to wear a mask but there was a young girl at the counter so it was understandable. I loved that unlike Duncan Donuts, they were letting you in to pick your donuts. I will never order a dozen donuts from a drive thru.

My cousin has been raving about this place for years. Since I used to work at a donut shop I wanted to see what she was talking about . Today is the second time I went to get donuts .The freshness of the donuts is unreal. I got a few filled ones and they actually had more than a bite of filling. If you havent tried them.i strongly suggest you do. I have a feeling Im going to be stopping in alot more

A small donut shop right next to 96 freeway it’s convenient just to stop by to the exit because they have a drive-through. Friendly staff, with a few customers already dined, it’s a cozy place to be and love how there open 24hrs. During my visit they are already making fresh donuts and the selection for doughnuts is a few they also serve ice cream here. Over all highly recommend this doughnut shop. Stopped in on a busy Sunday morning. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid with my grandma. Everything inside is the same as I remember it. The service was fast and they have a large variety of donuts. I sat at the counter and enjoyed a coffee and donut. The staff came around multiple times and refilled my cup. Even though it was super busy, the staff was patient and attentive to every customer they served. In addition to donuts, they offer bagels, and a soup/sandwich combo for lunch. I highly recommend stopping in and supporting your local bakery.

I go every weekend and have never been disappointed. The staff is always very friendly. Service and food quality are always top notch. Definitely would recommend to anyone who has not been here before.

This was the first time that I have gone to Looney Bakery. There was more people than I expected at 7:50AM on a Saturday. The bakery has a small counter area (5-8 people) to have coffee and a donut and dine in. The bakery also has a drive through. The inside was very clean. The donuts were great, too. I would recommend this bakery.

My husband and I just moved to Livonia around the corner from Looney Baker. We heard good things and decided to give their bagels a try. You guys, I am not exaggerating when I say they have the BEST bagels I have ever had (which is saying a lot considering I have tried many bagels). We are obsessed with them and have been buying them to have every day for breakfast before work. I see myself gaining some weight being so close to Looney, but their bagels are worth it!!

Prompt and friendly service. Good and simple donuts 😋 Nice atmosphere at night but youll get the most variety in donuts in the morning as they bake at night and sell out through the day. Easy to order 3dozen+ donuts at a time and theyre always a hit wherever I bring em!

No reason to serve tea so hot that a tiny taste in the middle of winter burns the skin off the roof of your mouth. The only time drinking would have been appropriate would be almost an hour later. It must come out boiling, whats the point? Its just mean tl serve it this way.

Personally, I think this is the best bakery in town, at least for donuts and paczkis. Especially the paczki. They are awesome. And they are heavy. So rich they have weight to them, unlike the grocery store ones. If you go here, you will be happy you did!

Longtime customer and loved this place. I went today to get my daily salt bagel and someone had come and purchased all bagels. I called to make a standing order for my one bagel after I confirmed they take standing orders. The girl on the phone told me NO. That’s only for donuts by the dozen. Really? After 20 years of coming to your shop? Just another place where customer loyalty means nothing.

Sad that its only drive-thru and carry out! You can still get their fabulous pastry. My favorites are apple fritters and looney bread!

Disappointing variety of donuts at noon on a Monday. Chopped peanut covered donut was really good but didnt care for Apple Cider donut, which was a heavy cake donut and flavor screamed Cinnamon.

I love their donuts - they are the BEST around! They have a great variety - just need to get there before 10:30 to ensure you get what you want. They are super friendly, but fast. Only thing I would improve is their coffee.

Solid mom & pop place for coffee and donuts. Also the only place in Livonia you can get ice cream at 4am. They make the donuts sometime between 2-5am so if youre there in the evening, just be aware that theyve probably been sitting out for a little while; still fresher than anything youd get at the store.

Good donuts, soup, and sandwiches. The people that work there are friendly. A good local business where the owner closes on holidays so that the employees can have off, which is the kind of thing that makes me like this place even more.

Ive been getting donuts here for over 25 years. Best apple fritters Ive ever had and they are as big as your face. Love the convenience of the drive through and 24 hours. Used to be my treat after trips to the ER in the middle of the night.

This bakery has been a Livonia landmark for decades. Its normally open 24hrs. There are always old timers getting coffee or sandwiches. My mainstay has been their fresh made cinnamon rolls and apple fritters. Every time I drive the I-96 corridor, I must pull off at Farmington Rd and use their drive thru and hopefully they have some Apple Fritters left. These things are the best, fresh Cinnamon, chunks of Apple, and lord only knows what else. Hell, Im a diabetic, and I always get a box of 4 or 6 Fritters for the house.

Considering the selection and we have here in Michigan this is a nice donut shop. Much better than the franchise shops we have around. And every time I’ve gone in I’ve had amazing service very friendly thanks guys keep up the Great work work

This place has THE BEST BLUEBERRY DONUT IVE EVER TRIED. Im a true connoisseur of donuts and by far this donut has the best blueberry flavor of any Ive ever tried and to be honest Ive had my fair share of donuts across the country. Some of the other donuts are mediocre taste wise but double chocolate is pretty good too. Id be surprised if anyone has had a better blueberry donut
