The folks at the Rousch Automotive Collection were just the nicest, friendliest people! They even answered a question late night by messenger ! The tour was free, and the things in the store part were really really reasonably priced. The auto and vehicle collection has something for every kind of vehicle fan. Trucks, motorcycles, cars from all eras, aviation and more. It was a very memorable day! GO SEE IT!
They were out of a few items, but thats anywhere you go,alot of cool items.
Very extensive NASCAR car collection plus. Well stocked gift shop. Worth a visit if you like NASCAR.
Worth the stop. Staff super friendly. Road Crew members get discount on merchandise.
This is a nice place to see cars take the kids. Great customer service and laid back atmosphere
Fun, Free. Lots of amazing cars from Nascar and other forms of racing. Also many mustangs. Oh yeah, did I mention Free.
A great collection from someone who cares and contributes much to the automotive industry.
People are very friendly and awesome service
Great place. Lots of cars
Always great to see older cup cars
A superb private collection. Far more vehicles than I expected, and an exquisite selection of rare and unique cars.
This place was awesome for Car buffs but for American history as well. Mr Roush has done amazing things throughout his career. I actually met his wife there. The family is awesome. Tyler is a wealth of knowledge. Truly a cant miss in the Motor city tour
Awesome cars friendly service and free
One word ... AWESOME 😎
Rich in history!! Well worth the trip!!
A car enthusiasts must.
My almost 16 year old son and my 76 year old dad both thought this place was fantastic. While visiting my folks in Detroit, we were looking for something to do, and my son asked if there were any car collections we could see. A Google search turned up several options, but this one was the only one closer than an hour that was open to the public. We werent expecting a whole lot, but for a ten minute drive and free admission, we figured we could check it out. It was phenomenal! A really interesting assortment of cars, from really old (an all-electric car from before 1910) to really new (a brand new Ford GT they only got 3 weeks ago), from actual NASCAR race cars to family sedans. Its basically just two HUGE rooms full of cars that you can walk all around - we saw a couple of security people at points, but I think only the brand new GT was roped off (at about a foot from the car). Youre really on your own and you can do just about anything except actually touch the cars. A few of the cars have very interesting signage that explain the history and the significant of the car, and I think I probably read every one. We probably spent about 2 hours there, and came home with dozens of pictures. An employee even stopped and answered our questions for about 15 minutes. And they have a really cool store full of Roush stuff, and the person staffing the store was just about the nicest and most helpful person I have ever met. Definitely an excellent way to spend an afternoon.
This is a wonderful museum for people who dont like museums but love cars! The staff there are very friendly and informative. The museum floor or showroom maybe but they dont sell any of the cars is exceptionally clean especially for a place with a bunch of cars in it! :-). We took my in-laws here, they loved it! Technically speaking its not a large museum, you know compared to the Henry Ford museum, but theres a lot to see.
Not a race fan but this is all that
Fun for the whole family. Make sure to visit one of the two (or both) open houses. Race team will be there to sign autographs. Jack will sign your Mustang. Door prizes and more.
A Ford lovers dream. 1975 Mustang II with a 505! One of the first real purpose built street racers I remember from a long time ago in Hot Rod magazine. Flippin AWESOME!
A great place to stop if youre a race fan, or a performance car enthusiast. We stopped by during an open house and got to meet Mr. Roush himself!
Great collection!
WOW! What a great collection!! Some enthusiast vehicles but a huge collection of Roush vehicles. The information placards told a detailed story of each vehicle. This is a must see if you are a Mustang fan and a Roush fan!
Awesome place to see lots of stock cars for NASCAR racing and get to meet many drivers and get their autographs when theyre in town and was fortunate enough to meet Jack last year and get his autograph
Fantastic collection of classic cars and race cars. Great souvenir shop with friendly, helpful staff.
Im an employee at Roush 4 1/2 years. Staff is always pleasant here. Im putting on fundraiser for animal rescue and they are very happy to donate Roush goodies to raffle for great cause.
The museum was great, with a lot of cool cars to photograph. The gift shop has some awesome racing gear and memorabilia.
Wonderful collection of Ford vehicles and a few others. The new Ford GT is there, as well as the 2005 Model. There was a very old pickup truck pre-dating the F150. Also a high number of modified Mustangs, classic to modern, and a large number of race cars of all types.
An absolutely amazing collection of cool, unusual and classic cars. The people there were super friendly and they had a great gift store to pick up some goodies. Id definitely stop by if you are at all interested.
An interesting collection of Jack Roushs automotive history. His daughter was there and showed us all kinds of extra cool in the back. If you are a gear head it is worth checking out!
Nice collection of cars, couldve been spaced better, nice experience.
If you like cars you will love this place! Small but lots of very cool automotive history to see!
Loved the cars, watching the motor build competition..... great time
Large warehouse that holds all types of Ford cars, trucks over the years. No entrance fee! Also have a store in the front that sells souvenirs and clothing. Staff is very friendly and professional.
Great race car museum and more...go if u can.
Great place to visit and great vehicles of Jack Roush Sr. Love the gift shop to buy Roush stuff.
We came for the Roush open house and got to meet Jack Roush and Matt Kenseth. The museum is incredible especially if you are a car person. Theres plenty of NASCAR and racing history to be seen as well as exclusive modern cars such as the Ford GT. The store has plenty of Roush merchandise and signed memorabilia.
Roush Automotive Retail building also houses a large museum of cars - - if you are in Livonia, and you a car buff, you should stop by here, has many unique vehicles as well as some of Jacks NASCAR collection!
Amazing collection of cars! Cant believe its free. My daughter had a Halloween event there. What a treasure to have in Detroit.
Great Museum especially if you love Fords. Great staff, will absolutely be returning.
First time I have ever been able to walk thru a garage full of race, antique, and collectible automobiles. Some of the racecars are in untouched condition after completion of race.
Fascinating place. Great walk through time.
This was an interesting collection of cars, mostly NASCAR and drag race cars, but with a sprinkling of other vehicles. The nice thing about this museum is that one can get really close to the vehicles for detailed inspection - as long as you dont touch.
Amazing display of automotive history and a great store to blow your money. The staff was a great addition as well.
Great place. I come every year

Had lots fun looking at all the cars.
This is one place I wanted to visit ... Top of my bucket list. Wow. Just amazing! If you like Stangs like me, you will think you died and went to Heaven! So many beautiful cars that trace Jacks life. The mementos on display are informative and fascinating! The store is full of primo merch. We spent a small fortune there. The sale rack was a treat, as they were seriously marked down items in perfect condition. The rest of the store was impressive. I love the Concord store, but this topped that one. We bought beautiful ROUSH ballpoint pens (LOVE!), decals, plate holders, license plates, hats, clothes, and whatever else I have forgotten. Wished they had keychains, but none. The employees were delightful! Just like Steph and the crew in NC. Wanted to pocket them and take them home. ;o) Do NOT miss going. I would say go if you have a couple of hours. However, whatever time you have ... Even if JUST a few mins., do NOT miss it. We almost decided not to drive the 40 or so mins from the Road America track cuz we thought 1.5 hours might not be long enough. Thankful we did! Roush does Rock!I fell in love with a remarkable young lady there who took a huge chunk of her personal time to spend with us... She shared some of the sweetest memories with us. I was in tears more than once. DO NOT MISS THIS!
Beautiful cars. Tons of history.
