Installers did a great job, and my new counters are beautiful.
Very disappointing experience. We selected a color and paid the deposit. A day before install date they called us saying we need to go and see the slap because it is different from what we selected. This slap does not work for us. So, we looked around and found another slap as a compromise. However, they wanted $1000 more. The office lady called the owner who refused to match our original agreed upon pricing. We decided to take our deposit and go somewhere elseNot to mention that we dropped off the sink so they can use for cutting sink hole and they did not even know they have it. They called the day before asking for the sink template.Again, very disappointing.,
Terrible customer service. The job was done very poorly and they cracked the counter top while laying it. It took 5 weeks to finally get them back out to replace it and this was after several calls, emails and messages left. Once they came to replace the counter top and fix the job the installers had no idea it was a tear out also. No one was ever on the same page as far as the installers and the office personnel. Called several times to talk to the owner or boss and never received a call from them. The communication was lacking. Don’t waste your time!
Such a wonderful place to do business with . Wanted Granite Kitchen Counter Tops for quite a while. First went to Hard Rock Stone Work, a true nightmare. The price had increase three times. By Shopping at Granite Planet, I was able to save upwards of 2500 dollars. The staff at Granite Planet were very professional from start to finish. Choosing a high quality stone, nice back splash, and a very nice sink. Thanks Granite Planet, still smiling.
Terrible. If you want cracked counter tops shop at granite planet.( Granite planet dodged my calls for weeks and refused to help)Inexperienced installer had to change drill bits 3 times while cutting our quartzite countertops for the faucet and soap dispenser; radiating cracks from both holes. They are so deep that it snags your finger nail when touching the counter tops.Owner refused to replace the cracked piece saying that it is normal and not cracked, even though you can FEEL and see the cracks.Currently having to dispute the charges because i am left with no options for help.Stay away, if you want the job done right and a company that actually cares about quality and the customer.
We ordered a kitchen countertop from this company and the overall product is good, but their customer service is not that great. The wait time for the counter-top was not that long and overall we are happy with the counter-top, but would not do business with this company again. We were told by the company that we would need to provide some type of wood supports that the countertop could rest on. Needless to say that we provided the needed materials and the counter-top was installed, but found out after it was installed that some type of bracket that is used to affix our dishwasher to some part of the cabinet that the counter top sat on was not done and when the installers were out to our home, they never mentioned this bracket, so we went up to the company and were given this bracket and advised that our contractors could put on this piece. Of course we were not happy that said piece was not installed at the time of the countertop installation an we questioned why this piece was not put on when the installers took the time to move the wood supports, adjust the dishwasher legs and left the final adjustments to our contractors upon completion of the work. After several attempts to reach the owner of this company and several messages left with a female employee who advised that her boss was notified and that he was out of the office and would get back with us regarding our concerns...we still did not get a call or a response.
At first I wasn’t to sure about this place, my friends had recommended it to me when they heard that I was planning on redoing my kitchen and bathrooms but when they showed me to the warehouse I was in shock! They had any kind of granite imaginable I was so impressed and in love the choices it took me about 5 days to decide what granite I wanted and then I went back and told them the granite I wanted and then they came to my house to get the correct measurements and installed it a little less than a week later. There was some residue after they installed the granite so I called to ask about it and they told me to wait overnight and told me it was a finishing polish so that the granite wouldn’t scratch and it seems to be working just fine considering the fact that I cook a lot and am constantly dragging pans and cutting veggies on the counters, and the staff was incredibly nice and treated me like family! Overall Granite Planet is amazing and i am 100% coming here again if I’m going to instal granite again! (10/10 recommend)
I have used this company 3 times and my mom has used them twice. They are easy to deal with and have great prices. We have fallen in love with some slabs in their warehouse and they have steered us away from things due to their ability to splinter and not hold up well for day to day use. I had two counters installed today and they are gorgeous. Its finished really well. I couldnt be happier. When in doubt, be sure to ask them what stones and edges will hold up well with your usage. We have boys and I am always sure to tell them that we are hard on stuff in our house. 🤣
I am extremely disappointed with the lack of service and professionalism that I received. I chose a piece of granite for a vanity countertop. Prior to leaving, I set up an appt. for the measurement and installation. When I received the estimate, not because they contacted me, I had to contact them. I drove to GP to pay for the countertop and upon my arrival, I was told the granite had been sold and was no longer available. There wasnt an apology and the guy that I had been dealing with took no responsibility and just shrugged it off. I sat there for 45 minutes waiting on the owner to arrive and he never did. I asked for the owner to call me and he never did. A full week went by and I did not get a call from the owner. I am in customer service. I am appalled by the sheer lack of customer service! Apparently, they dont need my business, or my money. Consider doing business with a reputable company that will appreciate your business and give you the level of customer service you deserve.
They did my granite in my kitchen and all 3 bathrooms. I picked out my granite and they came out and measured within a week and installed all of it within 2 weeks. They were fast..reasonable..great selection and did a fantastic job. That was 4 years ago and my granite is as perfect today as when they installed it. Great people and I was really impressed with them.
The lack of customer service and support is insane. Granite planet installed $3200 in quartzite countertops into my home last may. After several blemishes and dull spots were noticed after installation it took almost a year to get them out to address the issue. I was told by the owner that his employees did not apply the sealer properly. After a 10 month game of phone tag he sent guys out to re polish the tops. When they left they applied a product that they referred to as a sealer and told me to leave it on over night. I took a photo of the can that the employee used and contacted the manufacturer the next day after I could not get the haze and dull gray appearance off my tops. THE MANUFACTURER OF THE PRODUCT SAID, DO NOT LEAVE ON FOR LONGER THAN 5 MINUTES. My counters are now dull, hazy, dirty looking, and it has been 5 days, over 20 attempts to contact the owner with no return calls. I told the office staff I have found reviews online regarding the poor communication with the company.. the response was well those people are crazy very rude, they are uneducated in the product that they applied and now it will not come off, with no contact from the owner.
Great experience. Friendly staff. Their prices are unbeatable. I shopped 2 places and got Quartz counters 15 dollars a sq ft cheaper. Highly recommended
So everything started out great. The sales guys was nice, had a guy come to our house to measure, he was nice. We pick up the granite and the sink hole is cut wrong and actual piece is too big. So we go in and talk to the owner to see what can be done about the mistake and he says...IT’S MY FAULT.....I should have checked the office paperwork. I’m not quite sure how mismeasuring is my fault. And to top it all off the owner says he’s going to figure out how to make it right and is now not returning our calls. Yes it seemed like a great place, but now I’ve spent a lot of money on something that isn’t right. And it’s sad that they don’t seem interested in making it right. Don’t spend your hard earned money here!!!!! Go somewhere where they value the customer....and want to make it right.
After shopping at three different businesses, I went to Granite Planet. They had a huge selection of marble, quartz and granite at very reasonable prices. I purchased quartz for my kitchen and bath and love them! They were easy to work with!
Nicest Owner and they make you feel like family. Not rushed at all and installation was within one week. Seams are beautiful and perfect installation. Price was 1/2 of other 4 stores we went to for quotes.
I wish I could grade them higher because they do have a very nice selection and people were helpful. But its not in how you start rather how you finish that matters most... and this finish was messy. The high gloss we expected on all pieces - per the material we purchased - was missed on several, as though the cuts were made from a mix of glossy and matte finish materials. This led to a need to polish the pieces after they were installed leading to inconsistent surface look and feel. The shower curbs in both applications were angled out of the shower rather than sloping into the shower. Furthermore one of those curbs was actually wobbling in place, leading to a discovery that it had been installed with 4 spots of silicone, period. On the 3rd visit to complete the work I asked the installer about the wrong direction of the curb slope and the material wobbling atop 4 squirts of silicone. His response was not comforting, including that he has to make the caulk and other such materials on the truck last so he is sparing in how much he does use.Really.
Horible experience with this company. Long story short if you want quality work done, run as far away from this company as you can I paid them to measure and install my granite they cracked one piece and refused to replace it just wanted to repair it and the other piece was incorrectly sized, they set it anyway and refuse to correct the problem. The owner of the company wants to cut me a deal, for $600 he’ll come out and fix his mistake!!! Completely unprofessional hacks.
G.P. is awesome! Very friendly staff & service!! Referred many & getting ready to use them again. Installation was excellent as well❣
Very good experience. No complaints. Nice selection and prices. Also purchased my kitchen sink here and they beat Home Depot and Lowe’s prices.
Iv went too 3 different locations to shop around this place was my favorite!! Experience was great and my wife loves her counter tops, have to keep her satisfied lol thank you guys
Just received our new countertops. We had a great experience with Granite Planet. Nice selection, friendly staff and good prices. Very professional with call backs, appointments, showings etc. Definitely recommend!
Buyer beware!! Not only are they unprofessional but the work quality is very bad. I ordered three large kitchen countertops, the first installation they said there would be 1 seam, they showed up the day of installation with 3 seams in the material. I sent the countertops back, picked out others that they could install with only 1 seam. They made ALL my cuts wrong, the cooktop was too small, and the holes for the soap dispensers were also too small. Lastly on my island they sold me a piece that had a dull spot/ looked like it was etched. I complained at installation - as when i picked out the slab it was dirty they assured me that it would be cleaned up and would have no imperfections but it did and I did not see them till they were installed. They told me the sealant would smooth it out. This was a lie, my kitchen contractor, and two other reputable natural stone fabricators indicated that it was not honed or polished well and this should have been done prior to installation. I complained they did not get back to me for two weeks, and then shuffled me from owner Mari to the manager Aaron who was none responsive. I told them I was having someone else hone and polish the stone and charging them - so they are refusing to pay the $600 extra dollars it costs me to fix their issue. I will definately be taking them to court. Do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere else these people are not reputable, honest, nor do they do good work
Great prices and great staff.
We use them all the time. Great to work with
