Its the best polish market in Michigan!Its small,but they have everything for your needs. We always buying sausages and smoked meats from them.No one other stores have so delicious ones. 😋Cookies and cakes are so fresh and so good, especially with farmers cheese. Perogies and crepes with farmers cheese are outstanding.Staff is extremely friendly, polite and knowledgeable.

Seen this place in passing several times. Been meaning to go and check it out finnaly did today. Staff very friendly love all the European food and cakes and candy. Very reasonably priced. I will definitely go back... best selection of perogies around.

Polanka Market is the best spot for sandwiches in town! Also, amazing fresh fish options and in general great community vibe. Always a treat going here!

Small friendly family type place. They make fresh Polish favorites at a decent price.

Most of the good is precooked & delicious! Great for busy families. My favorite soup is their dill pickle soup or beet soup . The potato pancakes are out of this world.

The meat pie was so delicious. I also liked that they took great precautions and had masks on. Made me feel safe eating their food.

Wonderful, authentic, family owned shop. Large selection of kielbasa, pierogi, sweets, cooking mixes, juices, and more. I always feel like family when I go there. Highly recommend!

Super friendly old fashion personable service that will literally add 25% more taste to your cold cuts. For real!It’s not a very large store, doesn’t have every single version of each and every variety but it’s clean, tidy, organized and everything tasted fresh.It’s fairly well positioned, not too far so it gets credit towards their overall rating for this reason too.As far as decor is concerned it’s not updated but not like any of the other European markets and stores in metro that I’ve been to are either. I think it would help to have a more modern store front in terms of attracting attention but in my case I wanted European cold cuts so I googled the closest in the area at the time and wasn’t concerned with a modern look.

Best market to get truly authentic Polish food in Livonia! They have a wide variety of sausages, baked goods, and Polish supermarket staples. Plus, they also carry candies that you will not find anywhere outside of Hamtramick. Our family has come here for years. Be warned though, it gets extremely busy right before the holidays. The line will stretch almost out the door.

Second time in here. And got the chicken cutlet,stuffed cabbage and some wafer carmel cookies. All great! Went in looking for their city chicken but wasnt out. But also i hadnt asked if they could make some up. That was another of my favorites last time. Also got a multilayered cheese cake that looked amazing but the bottom layer was like a lemon cake and top was fluffy, so the lemon taste took over the whole cheese cake part. It was still tasty, just not what i thought it would be.

Stopped in today for the first time to check it out and I am so happy I did. My daughter was so excited to try all the goodies. Employees were nice and they have a nice little selection.

Clean and friendly little market. Found a, big selection of frozen pierogies. Not sure where the fresh ones are .

They say the store closes at 5 pm, but in reality they close earlier. I got there at 4:55 pm and they told me the deli is closed.

So, this place rocks. Their deli meat is reasonably priced and high quality, their prepared cold food is amazing, and that apple pie-thing is to die for. Were regulars and this place deserves more love! 10 stars!!

Nice clean place..the one thing I came in for they dont carry....homemade pierogis..they had some packaged but I wanted homemade. Owner was there and very nice and pleasant. Nice selection of products from Poland.

Great location for Polish food

Just went here for the first time.Bought city chicken, beet salad, smoked kabanosa and poppy seed roll.The city chicken is excellent. No fat and tasty. Beet salad is just like moms.Ill be returning and letting my friends know of this store.

I went in hoping to find seeded rye bread on a Sunday but they didnt have any :( . I live in Washtenaw County & was in Livonia visiting my in laws. Paris bakery & Joywiew meat market are closed on Sunday where I usually get kielbasa & bread. I thought Id try Polanka for bread. I decided to try their smoked kielbasa this time. Havent cooked it yet. I froze it for another time.

The only market in the area offering Polish food. Good quality, homemade salads and soups and other ready to reheat dishes. Small deli department, but it has all the basiscs. I wish it would have better assortment of prepackaged items, not much of variety compared to simular markets in other parts of Detroit area. Great pastries!!
