The shelves are starting to become bare in places, due to the shipping and labor crisis were experiencing, but Meijer is doing the best that they can.Our cashier today was new, her first day. We thanked her profusely for choosing to work and for helping to make it possible for us to purchase groceries.Support all local business, big and small. This store is alright, though it could be a lot better. A lot of stuff is out of stock, but its always this particular store and not other locations. Can be a little unorganized at times. Staff here are friendly and do their best to help, though sometimes it doesnt always seem like they know what theyre doing. Getting help with things has been iffy or confusing at times when I do ask. Not too bad of a store all in all, could easily be improved in my opinion. Bonus for some fairly good deals on their clearance sections on the end caps too.

This Meijer unlike some of the other ones was fully stocked staff was nice able to walk up to somebody asked a question and actually get an answer Hallelujah finally but for the most part they were full of every product that I need it and this would be a welcome trip to come back to so if youre visiting in this area check it out

I am very ipset. I scheduled a Covid booster shot today for 11:10 am. I got there and people had been waiting since 10:20 am. I went to get my card back and was told they are working on it. There were 5 or 6 people working and no one was giving shots. They were all filling prescriptions!!!This is unacceptable!!!

Nice clean store. Pretty much well stock products. Great also on there online order and pick up at the store. My main go to store.

They serve organic and locally sourced fare. Everything youll need for a grocery run is all in one place. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

Layout different from one store to the other. Does not stock the items I was looking for and needed. Most of all the line at checkout out was horrible you need to have all the check out lanes open for peak shopping days hours and times.Clean store with very helpful knowledgeable personnel on staff.

This location is always slammed, it doesn’t matter the time of day or day of the week. There are never enough lanes open, the cashiers have NO SENSE of urgency whether it be on regular lanes or at sec checkout. The workers are not very friendly and the parking lot is super dangerous, people drive way too fast. Getting out of the parking lot and back onto Middlebelt Road is a nightmare too.Being a Shipt shopper and a former cashier, it’s incredibly disappointing to see no sense of urgency for the customer. I spend at least 2 min in line when there is only one person ahead of me.

Saw 2 very nice comforters with MY NAME (BROOKLYN) on them and both were just my type of styles I like. That suit me PERFECTLY 🤠. Which one should I choose 😏🤔🤩???

Groceries arent the issue - traffic is! The store has a good selection of items and good produce. The store is located right off I96 and getting in and out can be very difficult. Traffic at this intersection is nightmarish. Often it requires numerous red light cycles to turn into the parking lot.

Staff always great. They try to stock a lot. Never a mess. I just wish they would open back up to 24 hrs cause I work at 4am sometimes but I get they probably cant get the staff. And Im sure they enjoy not being 24 hrs. >.

I certainly understand a shortage of employees Walmart as many other business need to step up their starting pay, you get what you pay for. Unfortunately the employees that they have now are grossly overpaid and I blame the majority of that mess on management and the lack of qualified staff

Another better than the other meijers in the metro Detroit area. This store has some management with a little pride. They are not outstanding but would definitely rate them higher than Detroit and Southfied stores.

I go here regularly.... its clean and well stocked. The People who work here are nice and helpful. Its best to go as early in the day as possible because it can get really crowded later on in the day. All though not as crowded as the Meijer in Southfield. I hate that one. BUT even though THIS Meijer can get crowded you still can get in and out fairly fast anyway.

My experience was good at the store! I was greeted at the door and the COVID-19 protocols were in place and being followed. I felt very safe and comfortable. I just wish they had an Express SOS machine.

Ashley Stewart needs to get a hold new line of fashion that the full size women likes and looks good on them. 3/4 length sleeve tops and tees Also everything in sizes for every women size 12 and up. Big girls do not want to look bigger in their clothes. All them big sleeves and wide pants, no.

I love their coffee section with local, Michigan coffee!

This Meijer has been declining since before the pandemic. Parking lot and store are very dirty, messy, and disorganized. Many items have no price to be found. They are going the way of Walmart with more and more self checkouts and much less cashiers which means long lines. Middlebelt and 96 area is just horrible with overcrowded traffic, poor traffic control, and construction that never ends. Stay far away if you can.

This place is great! Good quality food locally sourced and good prices. Thats as good as it gets for my money.

Nice. Never have enough register opened. Ten register 3 open. Self checkout full all time. Not good for handicap. Have you tried standing with a cane being supportive by a grocery basket. Because only three register opened?

Love the shop & Scan features, but due to the employment issues the lines have been really long and not customer friendly. Only one self checkout area has been open.Overall though the store is clean, organized and always has what we need.

Best bottle return spot around, constantly monitored by a friendly Meijer associate, lots of open bottle machines available every time I visited.

Alot has changed since I was in this Meijer last. I like the way things are laid out. The associate that helped me was friendly and had a positive attitude. The store was cleaner than I remember it but still a little disorganized but manageable. I didnt have any trouble finding anything and check out was fast. All in all not bad

Mask free at Meijers now. The sign says if vaccinated. Good variety of heirloom tomatoes and fresh herbs. Also their smoked canned seafood selection is above and beyond any other store.

Never again will use the Meijer curbside pickup at the Middlebelt/96 location in Livonia! Ill go to another location. They should be ashamed here. Pickup in the back of the store, no lights, no security. No signage to tell you its in the back, they have a curbside lane in front but I guess thats just for pickup in-store loading. Unbelievable! Look... I only gave it 2 stars because the Manager who brought my food was so apologetic. She said she told corporate already and shes scared doing this by herself. This is downright outrageous! Meanwhile, the parking area next to Floral/Gardening is brightly lit with dozens of empty spots. SMH

Always a classic experience at Meijer. The fresh fruits, fresh baked goods, parents yelling at children, barely stocked clothing shelves, fresh deli products, delicious frozen foods. All of these make Meijer a go to tourist experience!

Meijers I have to say is a Great and wonderful place to go and shop. They always have what you are looking for.Plus they have wonderful deals. The food is always fresh.Meijers is like a shopping mall. You can get clothes, cell phones bikes,etc.on a scale from 1 to 10, I give Meijers a 10.

Nice Meijers, and is surrounded by other great stores like Home Depot, Menards, and Costco. So this is great for if you need to hit a bunch of stores in one day. Nice layout with plenty of space to park and shop.

I go here for my grocery shopping. There are a few problems but I think COVID is responsible for them. Overall, Its a good place to shop.

Bought some fish and they were all sick and died tanks where super dirty, most are filled with ich. I asked whats up with that and they said someone comes in once a week to feed and maintance them because they are understaffed. Meijers needs to step there game up and hire some ppl and pay better salary to they dont go understaffed.

Middlebelt store one of the best. I question wht its SLIPPING! See attached photos. GARBAGE OVERFLOWPAPER TOWELS PLACED IN AN ATTEMPT TO SOAK UP WATER FROM THE REFRIGERATOR UNITS .NO WET FLOOR SIGNS IN PLACE!TOO many handicap scooters OUT OF SERVICE PER DOOR PERSONNEL.This was a premier store at one. I do hope it returns to one.

Workers were courteous and helpful, but like always many sale items were gone. Some shelves were wiped out.

Busy, every time I go. The reason for the 4 star is, self checkout is either, card only, or cash only. Makes it confusing and difficult for people, and causes more wait time. Recommend opening them up for all forms of payments. Covid is really no longer an excuse.

This is my go-to Meijer and Im not generally disappointed. Then there was today. We looked all around the store and couldnt find any Pride merch. There was about 30 feet of 4th if July products but I didnt see a single Pride shirt or anything with a rainbow. If they have a display, it is hidden well. I wont stop randomly shopping here but Im pretty disappointed.

This was my favorite location until they changed the self check aisles. I buy too much stuff to use those little platforms. Now I have to find another store

I love Meijer. And in Particular this location. Perfect store for me. Buy fresh produce, golf balls, a good book, pharmacy and hardware. All under the same roof.And buy gas on the way out.

I buy Lego and beer here. Sometimes I use the bathroom. Always a good experience.

Well they were low on there meat section from chicken to steak it might be because it was close to closing time. And self checkout was the only thing open and it was credit card only. That would have suck for people paying cash. But I usually have a good experience there it was 11:00 at night.

Love how clean this location is, and the produce section is always well stocked, and yes some things do run out, in parts of the store, but aside from late night hours, I Always see employees on the store restocking shelves every time I go. They really try to stay on top of things! 💯

I have been frequenting this Meijer for 5 years now and each shopping trip whether large or small has been a success.The Organic/Non-gmo produce section at this particular location is usually stocked up with fresh produce and has a vast selection of it.The Organic/Non-gmo food selection (frozen produce/non produce) is excellent. I now need to find a new place to shop. Half the time, this store is out of stock of what I need. I shop on Thursdays to avoid long lines but lately there have been fewer and fewer lines open so the wait times have been insane.

I have been coming to this Meijer for almost 20 years now and have to say that the employees are all great, nothing but helpful and kind but where are all of the employees though? This past year has been TERRIBLE with the wait in those lines. I spend more time in line than actually shopping. I understand how Covid-19 has affected business, and have patience for the overworked and very few workers actually there but there needs to be more cashiers. Bottom line. I overheard the Manager explaining to a customer about call offs and no shows (not his fault entirely but...) As a manager, I would have been opening up a line myself instead of having 30 people staring at me for wasting their time. I think Meijer has just assumed that we wont take our business elsewhere.

The only reason why this Meijers got four stars instead of five is because they did not have something that I needed. But they did have something that I actually really needed so thats why they got four stars Also the customer service with the employees that I encountered was very great as well as I want to say a supervisor that I encounter and she was very polite as well So I would definitely return to this Meijers
