Had my lawn mower picked up for service. It was returned today and is NOT fixed. Cost $140.00. I dont think anyone even looked at it. Service department phone goes directly to voice mail. Still waiting for a call back. Very disappointed in this company. UPDATE: Since I didnt receive a call back I went to the store where I learned my mower needed a new engine and was not worth repairing. The $140.00 was for diagnosis -- pick up -- delivery. I understand mistakes happen, but it would have been nice to get a call with the diagnosis instead of the phone call I received, saying my mower was fixed and ready for pick up. I raised my rating 2 stars, but feel customer communication needs improvement.
Went everywhere around the city for a small lawn mower part. This place was well stocked and had the part on hand.Friendly in Detroit? Yes it happened. They came out and checked. Didnt have to unload the mower.If a part cant be found here then it is not in town. Thanks guys.
Bought a trimmer a Redmax... A simple transaction took too long. Dan has a lot to learn but its not his fault... He needs more training! Its always Managements fault.. always.. always..

Brought in my stihl trimmer that was 3 months old because it was bogging out. Guy at the counter said no problem, it is under a 2 year warranty and we will get it fixed for free no problem . Explained to him that we tried to fix it ourselves and adjusted the valves, etc. Still said it was covered by warranty. A week later I came back to pick it up and was charged $116 because they said working on it ourselves voided the warranty. No phone call saying the warranty was void, they just went ahead and did the work and charged me. The service manager offered me $30 off and said you know sometimes these things happen and we just gotta deal with it and move on. So you take my money and I’m just supposed to deal with it and “‘move on”. Shady, predatory business practices. I have spend countless thousands of dollars here and will not give these scammers another dime!

I was told 10-14 days before my lawnmower would be serviced and that was on 5/6. I’ve left voicemails with two different people regarding my mower not even being assigned to a tech yet and it’s 5/22. No one returned my phone calls. I am totally unimpressed with the lack of customer service at this location. At the bare minimum someone could have returned my voicemails to status my mower. I will take it to a different location for service.7/27 Update: I’m pleased to update that Weingartz contacted Echo about my mower so I will receive a new one this week. This has been a rocky process since May, but due to Tim’s tenacity my issue will be resolved soon. I think contacting Echo on my behalf was going above what I expected. Thank you Tim!

Great service and good pricing! They picked up my snowblower next day as promised for a reasonable price serviced it and returned it witin 2 days, the cost of repair was fair.
My snow blowers belt broke the afternoon before we were supposed to get slammed with snow. I checked in with the hardware stores in the area, none of which had the part I needed. Called Weingartz 20 minutes before they closed and not only did they have what I needed they were very accommodating considering they were minutes away from closing when I got there. They are definitely my go to place for lawn and snow related purchases.
The repair of my Boss plow was done timely and professionally. While I had found a few issues and mentioned them to repairs. My 84 year old father took an older snow thrower in for repair. When he took it home, it wouldnt start. So he took it back and gets a call from someone there who says its not worth fixing.Were expecting 4 to 6 of snow tomorrow.Thanks for nothing, and a whole lot of inconvenience Weingartz.Were buying a new machine, and it wont be from you.
I called the Livonia store to see if they had a certain brand available. I asked the sales rep if he could highlight any differences between the two as there is a price variance. Wanted to see if they felt the extra fee was warranted for what I do. His response was, are you in front of a computer, you can read about it. I even said earlier in the conversation that i was willing to give a credit card to reserve purchase. I am sorry but if one of my sales guys spoke to a customer like that they would not have a job. I couldnt believe this type of response, especially after there are clear buying signs.Awesome job ACE, you just cost yourself a sale and a future customer at your establishment.

Perfect place for my needs. Had what I came for and more. First time there today and was not dissatisfied in the least. The line was long meaning all the other people knew they loved this place also. Price was spot on with the market. Online quantity was off a little bit thats to be expected with just about anywhere. And they were open till 7 today. Cant beat that with a stick. Expecially while everyone else closes at 5. Ill be going here again.

I may have given more stars for the service if I had actually been able to speak to someone to get service. Over the course of a half hour, I called 3 times trying to order parts for a machine. First I called and used the automated system to get the parts desk. I spent 15 minutes on hold, hung up. Called back and immediately on hold for 5 additional minutes. Called back immediately, spoke to the operator to be connected to parts. Never spoke to a person immediately on hold for an additional 10 minutes
Don’t worry about coming here if you’re at all concerned about masks or CoViD-19 protocols. Drove from the east side. They definitely advertise that they want YOU to wear one in the store but the two sales people who did have masks (out of four) were hanging them off of their chins. Maybe that’s just a Livonia thing? Probably why it’s so bad there. But I went to Zerbo’s right after and everyone there was super chill and safe. Kid didn’t know the difference between amps and volts either. Nice store, too bad. Got my power shovel off the Toro website shipped for free from a different dealer.

I ordered a carb I thought came with gaskets. My bad. The parts would fit in an envelope, but the parts department wanted to charge me a minimum fee to ship. The manager stepped in and graciously corrected the situation, much to my satisfaction. Thank you, Tim.

I highly recommend Weingartz. My parents have used Weingartz for years and recommended I do too. I didnt listen initially and bought a machine elsewhere and that was a mistake. But I took that machine to Weingartz and the staff helped me get that machine running on the spot and didnt even charge me. I will be using Weingartz moving forward for sure! Thank you Weingartz!
Needed a part for my ECHO trimmer and was quite happy with the parts personal -- there was difficulty in getting the right part but they gave a really good effort in the search for it. I seen customers looking to purchase equipment worth thousands and l received the same service for a $6 part

I went into the store to purchase a Stihl product. I stood there for a long time and nobody came to assist me while there were 3 associates standing behind the counter talking to each other. When I finally purchased my product, 1 of the items was not in stock. I was told it would be in the following week. At this point, I am almost hitting 3 weeks with no product. I understand the COVID delays for product ordering, however, when I call the store, I cannot speak to anyone. There is a minimum hold time of 10 minutes and I have waited up to 25 minutes on multiple occasions before I just hang up without speaking to anyone. If I press 0 to speak to a receptionist, I get into the same hold queue where I just end up hanging up. Setting up the voice message telling me about high call volumes is fine, BUT, what are you doing to improve it? Just seems like a generic statement while nothing is being done to make it better. I am looking to purchase additional equipment, if I cannot get a hold of anyone to speak to, I may just go elsewhere to make the purchase. I have been on hold for 22 minutes while I write this and I am about to hang up again.
First time going there, figure big shop would know how to fix ridingmower or not worth it. Took it in week later pick up got home died in 3min. Took back up, cut lawn first time still not running strong, did second time felt worse, and cut it today does the same thing. Think gets hot and dies. $150.00 parts I put in such as new cap, blades, belts, and carburetor also was charge $170.00 there. Not even going to go back, Ill find little shop that will go through whole mower or buy new one. Figure Id make it through year and go buy another since only 7 years old.
I went looking for a new trimmer edger. The salesman was very nice and knowledgeable. I ended up buying an echo value pack. He helped me through my purchase and even carried it out to my car. Very impressed

I would actually give 0 stars but Google wont let me. Dropped off mower on a Thursday and they said it would be ready for pickup the following Monday. When I called, I spent 10 minutes on hold before calling back and being put on hold again. Gave up and called the next morning. They said my 5 year old mower was not worth fixing, (!) Then they put me on hold again and after a few minutes hung up on me. So sad that Weingartz bought out Commercial Lawnmower Repair. I would not recommend bringing a lawnmower here to be serviced.

Phoned to see if part was in. No one answered phone . It rang for over 12 mins while I was enroute . Walked into the store. Still not a soul answered. I had a staff member ask if my phone was on. I said Im calling this store for the past 12+ mins and not a soul has answered. He was dumbfounded. No apology from him or explanation why

My husband just bought a brand new 0 turn lawnmower from Weingartz Livonia. He bought it on April 23 so literally a week ago. He has cut 3 lawns and the mower sits in the garage when not being used. He was out washing it yesterday and noticed that there was a bite mark like on the belt, he knows there is no way that his cutting three lawns would do that. He has been trying to get a hold of someone at Weingartz Livonia to see if they can replace the belt. I mean weve only owned it for a week. But DON the sales person has been giving him the runaround and now not answering his calls at all. Now my husband has to go and find a new belt, since DON doesnt want to help out. We will not be a returning customer, thats for sure!!!!
The manager made my repair bill right, after i was quoted $98 and then was charged $156. Will definitely be going back!!!

Great place to buy new equipment, get your equipment serviced and buy parts. They have everything from the big commercial equipment to the small stuff. I have the small stuff, never a problem getting tune up equipment. I bought an inexpensive mower years ago as a stopgap, that Snapper is still going. Sales, service and parts all know their stuff!
Friendly and Fantastic group of sales guys with top of the line products at reasonable fair prices for the same or better mowering equipment youd get at Lowes or Home Depot. Plus they have trimmers,chainsaws,snow blowers and riding trackers and lawn mower s. A real mans heaven. You just gotta go and check it out.Not to mention trade in on old walking lawn mower for $20.00 bucks.Awesome place.
