I had a problem with the transmission on my truck. They said they would not be able to get it in for another 2 weeks. I said no problem I will wait. Then they told me I would have to have it towed there myself. I said ok no problem. Two weeks later I called to confirm and they said they couoldnt do it. So I waited 2 weeks for nothing.

Whoever it was who said they never overcharge in their review has likely never been anywhere else. I had a small amount of work to get done and after checking 10 other places in the area they are actually the most expensive and claimed they couldnt get to my car for a week because they were so backed up on inventory. Im not going back there and recommend you avoid it as well.

Went to this shop on a recommendation of a co-worker. Im newer to the Lockport area and was looking for a RELIABLE and INEXPENSIVE shop. Now I dont go to shops all that much due to the fact my dad makes most of my repairs. But for the ones he cant, I take to a shop. This shop is the most reasonable shop Ive ever been to! Not to mention they know their stuff! When Im discussing work to be done they describe what, how and why they have to do something. Then when it comes time to pay, Im shocked at how inexpensive and reasonable their prices are! Will be going to this shop the rest of my life!

On vacation from Michigan and the truck has issues. They got us right in and repaired in a day and half. They were very busy at the time but moved jobs around to get us back on the road. I felt their labor rate was very reasonable. Not much they can do about the cost of parts. If you are in the area, this is the place to go. Friendly, honest people.

In response to TOM SULLIVAN, it was not his truck hes talking about ...it was mine . He was too quick to judge without looking into why I needed a drive shaft.... after they carefully explained to me why it was necessary to replace a drive shaft along with the u joints... it was clear to me ...redline have been my mechanics for over 10 years they are great and professional guys ... I never once had a problem until Mr. Sullivan decided he knew what was best.... mr sullivan before pre judging find out why.... Ps now I do not have a mechanic any more thanks for that 😡

Most of the bigger jobs Ive brought them over the years comes backed with a guerrenty depending on the job and part especially transmission builds or motor swaps they stay true to the customers thats why there parking lot is overflowing with work thats proof enough for me take a look next time you drive by . First time ever writing a review. I do basic auto repairs on my own cars. My 07 impala was giving what myself and my normal mecanic thought was a transmission issue. I went online serching a transmission shop. I picked Redline because its almost across the street from GM Lockport, where I work as a Tool and Die Maker. I described to the man for Redline what was happening with the car. He spoke to me about the possible solutions to my problem. He said he would have his tech check it out and get back with me. Turned out I had a crack plastic fitting at the intake to the throttle body causing a vacume leak. They epoxyed the fitting. Fixing both problems with my car. If I had picked the wrong shop, I could have been paying for a transmission repair. We all know that would have been lots of $$$$. The most amazing part of the story is there was no charge for the repair! Thats why I took the time to share this experince with you. Im not sure their is many shops with this kind of integrity out there. They certainly have my future business and the shop getting lunch on me! Joe from GM
