Unfortunately i went here and was told a price on 2 rings that I purchased from another pawn shop and was told a price and that they would honor that price if I came back. I came back and drove from far away just to have them say they changed their mind . I understand if they didn’t want to buy the items but to waste my time and not hold on to their word is what the problem is. If a reputable business feels the need to lie to their customers others should be warned before wasting their time as well. Staff was not professional and I was not impressed with their inventory whatsoever.

Went in to the shop today to look at some jewelry for my boyfriend and david there helped me figure out wat kind of chain and gave me a price at about 1/3 of what I have been seeing all over the place. Thank u guys so much he really liked it

I went down to this place today with my wife to get an anniversary gift for our 10 year. they had a very clean and organized assortment of merchandise. we found a nice ring that she really liked and they gave us an unbeatable price including sizing!!!! needless to say the people who work there will go out of there way to make sure youre happy when you walk out the door.

Went here to sell not get a loan, and the guy offered me an insulting 12 dollars for my ring!!! I went down the st to second hand rose and was treated fairly and offered a more reasonable 80 dollars for my ring. These guys are a rip off and I recommend taking your business elsewhere

Here is my explanation for giving them 1 star - The owner seems to be a nice guy. My problem is with his worker. The white guy (I didn’t catch his name so that’s the description) has horrible customer service. When I went in with a chain I wanted to sell, they valued it. I came back because the buyer wanted to have it checked for it’s validity in person, the same guy got an attitude, was very rude, and refused to value it in front of the buyer solely because he was mad I was not selling it to the pawn store. Awful! Second time around I take a watch in for my friend, the watch is brand new, a well known watch amongst business men and retails for $1100. As soon as I placed the box on the table, he started making comments about how it could be fake BEFORE even seeing it. Then he insults me with a $50.00 offer for a flawless $1100 watch. Not even a year old. The reasoning? Because it’s not a Rolex or expensive watch someone comes looking for. Because there are more expensive watches out there it means this watch doesn’t have value? Because people aren’t aware of a certain brand it means it loses its quality? So you want to buy this $1000 watch for $50 because you don’t know anyone who will buy it because everyone wants a Rolex? Horrible business etiquette. If you don’t want to purchase it because you don’t have the clientele & don’t know anyone who is well rounded in watches.. then just say so. Don’t demean someone’s property because your inventory won’t move. Lastly, I asked to have a Diesel watch fixed & he says “it’s probably not even worth fixing” how rude! You don’t decide what is something is worth to someone. It turns out it’s $50 to fix a watch that was 300 something odd dollars. Well worth the fix. You work for a pawn shop buddy, maybe you should humble yourself until you make some career moves. Whatever your name is you’re ruining the other gentleman’s business. And brush your teeth... Im sure my friend will continue to do business here, but I will not.

I cannot believe this place is allowed to be in business! I brought a couple pieces of jewelry here to get a loan. They took one of my pieces and completely tore it apart! When I told them I was not selling it and only wanted a loan, they argued with me and said they had to do that in order to make sure it was not fake. Are you kidding me?? You have to destroy my jewelry that I was planning on coming back for because you werent sure it was real??? What kind of business is this that the workers cant tell the authenticity of something without ruining it? I told them I wanted to be compensated for my broken piece and they offered me a ridiculously low price!! I said no and went to the police station to file charges against them. Apparently, this method of doing business is nothing new. The police officer told me that they have received several complaints against this place. The officer then told me to go get my jewelry appraised at a reputable place and then sue them if they dont pay it. I went to another jewelry store first to see if my piece could be fixed and they said it was beyond repair! They told me that I should go to Secondhand Rose downtown if I wanted to sell it as they were not interested in buying it. I went to Secondhand Rose and the lady quoted me a price that was higher then the pawn shop! So not only did they destroy my jewelry, they wanted to screw me on the price for it as well! I will be demanding a payment from the pawn shop and if they do not comply, I will certainly take action against them. Either these people have no idea what theyre doing, or they are hoping that by breaking it I will not want to come back and they can buy it from me for next to nothing. Regardless, this place needs to be shut down.

NO STARS! (Had to click on one star in order to publish my write) Some friends and I have had uncomfortable experiences in this. One too many, which has led me to write a review. Each time I left feeling looked down upon, embarrassed for even trying to get a loan. As if it isnt humbling enough to even walk into a pawn shop to begin with. Where I come from it is not a proud moment to ask anyone for anything let alone in trade for money! Yet here is a business offering trade for money as their business. Yet leaving customers feeling sorry to have ever entered the building and thinking they solely for the take. Business owners and their employees in Lodi that do not have a friendly welcome, cannot even FAKE respectful conversations or lack any signs of humanity at all. DO NOT SURVIVE THIS TOWN! And whats with all the guns wallpapered on the walls without any electronic door security to enter or leave? Guys, if you remain looking down your nose at customers, interact disrespectful and without security doors for the safety of yourself and the public, just know that word of mouth in this small town is more powerful than the most expensive advertising available. Having said that, I have no doubt in my mind that without some adjustments with your customer handling, this place will not be around too long. Employees packin pistols on their hips gave me a sense of security, not enough to go back. No security, No respect, No Thank you. Just Sayin,,,,

Been here many times they act like they are your friends then they rip you off. They took all my nice Snap-on tools for pennys on the dollar. Ive been going thru rough times and had to sell a lot of things. Today went in with a New Samsung Tablet. Verg nice and very popular and they treated me terrible. Would not take the tablet and the owner simply told me he was not interested. Beware only go here if you have high end and expect to be ripped off.
