The three providers at the House of Hearing with whom I have worked over the past five years have been professional and friendly at every appointment. Their treatment has helped me maintain my hearing. They have been conscious of my financial concerns and done their best to keep my hearing aids operating well for all these years. I believe they are seriously concerned about helping me enjoy the best quality of life possible as I get older. Kenzy Ivory has worked with me the longest of the three, and I recommend her to anyone who wants to improve their hearing health.

I went in for a hearing test. The experience was professional and painless. The staff was welcoming and Kenzie was easy to work with and walked me through the entire process.

They were very helpful when I couldnt change the rubber dome. They accepted my insurance and adjusted my hearing so I could hear my husband speak who talks very softly. I enjoy hearing the birds and my grandchildren better and they even made the earpiece to match my hair.

This is a great place to get hearing clearly. I had a hearing test done to get the right diagnosis for my problem. They put together a set of hearing aids so I can understand what people are saying. The staff is really friendly and helpful.

The House of Hearing is perfect for my mom who lives at an assisted living center. Kenzie will come right to the center to change her hearing aids when we can’t get out to her appointment. My mother passed away less than halfway through her lyric hearing aid contract. Since these are replaceable hearing aids every so many weeks and not permanent hearing aids she only received half of the service she paid for. We simply asked for a partial refund of the amount that she paid. This was a significant amount. I was told that since she was over six months of her year contract there would be no refund. I wrote a letter pointing out that she was short of six months. Their reply was you’re not going to get a refund of any sort. We’re not asking for 50% just a fair settlement. I worked in the service industry for years and frequently gave refunds when they were justified. This has become a matter of principle for me now. Don’t buy from them, there are others providers in Logan that have the same technology at a significantly lower price. And don’t listen to their claim that lyric manufacture causes this. It is a smokescreen.

After being referred by a friend, I bought hearing aids from the previous owner (Card) in this office and was served very well. Later I took in each of my two sisters at different times and they also bought hearing aids from House of Hearing. After wearing mine for several years, I received an offer in the mail for some that dont need batteries and give better hearing. I tried two different kinds. I purchased the Phonak brand and love the overnight charger program and hearing different things in my aids, like phone rings and music. I am hearing better. I have more to learn on how to use all their features, but I now remember to wear them every day and put them in the charger overnight and they always working well for me.

Its been 5 years since I got my new hearing aids from House of hearing and it has been a great experience. They have really been a joy to work with and they have stayed up with my hearing needs with quarterly check ups and any adjustments if needed. On my last visit she was able to get me some new hearing aids that were a upgrade and which would help my hearing considerably at a price that my insurance would cover with no cost to me.

I was very sorry to have Mike Knoll leave the staff of House of Hearing because he had become a dear friend, but the new person, Derek (sorry I dont know his last name) is equally caring and concerned that I receive the service I need. I wear a Lyric hearing aid, and there has never been a time when I needed assistance or a new hearing aid that they havent found an appointment for me on the very day I call. I love Logan House of Hearing. They couldnt be more professional and caring!!!!

My current hearing aids are my fourth set and I have hated every one I have ever had with the exception of my current ones. They are amazing. Finally some aids that really do work well. I have never been able to have in aids in while driving due to the loud air noise. My new ones adjust automatically. They are a major breath of fresh air to have. It is so nice to be able to hear people better now that I have been fitted for my hearing aids. I like that they are small and it isnt apparent that I am wearing hearing aids. The folks at The house of hearing were able to make me see that waiting till I was older wasnt a good idea because of the way our brains work with our hearing. That is what convinced me sooner than later was better. My husband and I both ordered our hearing aids that day and we both have been very satisfied with the results and the continued service that we receive.

A few years ago I lost most of my hearing in my right ear. I was standing at a viewing/funeral talking to a friend and in about 5 minutes I could feel my right ear Closing. I had lost the hearing in my ear. The next day I went to the Dr. and they said it would take surgery to repair the hearing with no guarantee it would work. I lived with it for a couple of years but it was hard to listen to conversations in the car (road noise and my wife sitting on my right side), restaurants, and in general anywhere there was background noise.I went to Hearing for Life (now The House of Hearing) at the suggestion of a friend and was set up with a hearing aid that has a remote control I wear around my neck and is blue tooth enabled.According to my wife this is the greatest thing that I have done in the last 10 years. My hearing is not perfect but I can now hear conversations that I could not hear in the past. I have volume controls on the remote and can adjust the volume up and down as needed. The hearing in my right ear is not normal but improved enough that I can talk to my wife will driving and hear the conversation above the road noise in the car. I can also go to a restaurant and hear the waitress and the table conversation above the restaurant noise.Since the hearing aid is blue tooth enabled and the remote has a microphone on it. I can connect it to my Cell phone. I can answer the phone and talk without taking the phone out of my pocket. This comes in very handy when driving. If I answer the phone in a store or in public people think I am crazy because there is no visible phone or device. People just think I am talking to myself and think I am crazy. I also have the ability to connect to my TV and can watch and listen to the TV with the volume on the TV turned off.I am very pleased with the Hearing Aids and for the service and assistance I have received from Michael and the rest of the staff at The House of Hearing. I highly recommend them if you have a need for hearing aids.

I have been working with the staff at House of Hearing in Logan for more than four years.They have made suggestions that led me to use different combinations of hearing devices, including the Lyric. Of late, I have gone back to two external aids, in order to create balance. I prefer the Lyric, but cannot use it in one ear because of two surgeries. I was able to get the latest version of the hearing aid technology for the same price as an older version of this hearing aid. I was able to get a blue tooth compatibility with my old flip phone. I did not have to get a smart phone to get the blue tooth compatibility with my current phone. This now enables me to hear telephone conversations that I could not hear before.

After previously purchasing hearing aids from another company I was total dissatisfied with the result they provided. Subsequently I tried a few other hearing aid providers but was still not satisfied.I eventually went to the The House of Hearing and worked with Mike Knoll. This has been an interesting journey. I lost what seemed to be the high pitched tones in my hearing when I was working for the Fire Department and it has only seemed to have gotten worse. Working with Mike at the House of Hearing has helped me hear things that have been lost for some time. I met Mike in Logan several years ago. He fitted me with aids for hearingbut also feel I met a friend. He answers all my questions treats me like we are lifelong friends. He takes his time with me. When I was teaching, it was hard to communicate because I couldnt tell where the sound was coming from--being able to see helped fill in some of the gaps. I would try to repeat questions to see if I heard them correctly and it got to the point where I was wrong more times than right. My tinnitus certainly didnt help either. I dont know how many times passengers told me my turn signal was still on or I had to ask someone what was just said. I didnt know if hearing aides were the answer but the trial period took the pressure off. After getting the hearing aides programmed and operational, I was startled several times on the way home the first time, hearing things like turn signals and some construction I didnt hear on the way in. The folks at the office have been great with fine-tuning, adjustments and cleaning. My ears itched at first, but most of the time no one, including me, knows I wear them. Easy to wear--just get in the habit of putting them where they will not wind up in the laundry!

Their new front office girl is lovely and so helpful! Keep her around.
