Being a large family we frequently grocery shop. Dee our cashier was patient as I unloaded the basket and got everything organized on the belt. She did service with a smile and did an amazing job. The young man who bagged our groceries whose name was either Dominic or Cameron was also great he offered to help us out but we decided to do it ourselves. The manager pulled him to the side and asked if he was offering service. My cousin overheard and immediately went back inside to let them know how great our service was. Sometimes we dont hear the small conversations but its great to know theres some people do what theyre supposed to and makes your customers are happy. She didnt hear our conversation and was quick to correct him but its the decision we made. Normally I dont do grocery store reviews but in this instance I wanted to make sure they were both recognized.

This is a nice, clean Publix and the deli area is superbly set up. I wont lie, I normally dont shop Publix for groceries excepting the deli. I just cant resist those darn subs and dinner plates.That being said, I have walked around waiting on chicken to cook every once in a while and found that the aisles are clean, organized and altogether well kept.The employees seem friendly and eager to help, usually going out of their way to do so.Take it for what its worth from an individual that basically judges a Publix on its deli, but I dare say this is my go to spot for a good meal, a clean store and good customer service.

This is my always and forever go to Publix location!! Im literally in there 3-4 times a week for some thing or another. Whether its a quick $10 purchase or a full out $200+ plus restocking type of shopping trip. Its super close to my house so obviously very convenient but its also a great store. If it wasnt I would certainly have no problem going out of my way to go to another store that was better!! Luckily this location is AWESOME so I dont have to go anywhere else!! Also, I LOVE the Publix app! I cant even remember the last time I pulled out a card or cash to pay for anything!! I just scan with my phone and go!! Another super convenient thing that keeps me coming back to Publix time and again and most likely..... For life!!!

Worst Publix ever. Drive farther and save yourself. Only 1 checkout open and it was the express lane. I waited for them to open another lane and they never did. Finally went ahead and got in that lane and had to listen to comments on how I cant count. Each time I go the checkout person has an issue on how I unload. Last time I was there I got 3 teas and put them all on the belt, was told I only needed to put one up and tell them how many I had. This time, I put one on the belt and told her I had 3 and she said that Id need to pull them all out so she could check them individually. She did the quantity this time but in the future I need to pull them all out. So which is it? I have a better idea: Ill try a different store.

I just left this Publix and it felt like I was at Chick-fil-A headquarters. It was literally the best grocery shopping experience ever I have ever had. Not only did they have everything I was looking for (jumbo lump crab meat, lollipop lamb chops, etc) but the service and staff was impeccable. Literally every worker I came across greeted me, made sure I had everything I needed and was super nice and helpful. The store was clean, stocked, and checkout was quick and friendly. This will be the only store I shop at from now on. Great job Publix!

Deli section is a scam! I had a issue with the deli section that I’ve never experienced before from this store. I was made out to be a liar and was mislead by the team. I went to pick up my sandwich I scheduled for pick up at 12:30 pm. When I arrived at the store I was told they didn’t receive my order and I was at the wrong Publix. I showed them my email confirmation and they implied my order was at the wrong store. I didn’t make it a big deal and headed to the next nearest Publix location, where the ladies told me my food was. When I arrived there I was told they don’t have an order for me. Next, I searched the location I actually ordered from and it was the store I just left from. Shortly after ordering at this location instead of store #789, I called store (#789) and spoke with the store rep, she was very polite and empathetic to my situation. She told me when she spoke with their Deli manager they said my sandwich was sitting since 12:16 pm. But when I was there the first time I was lied to and told my sandwich order is at another location. The manager then continued to say the staff never had anyone come up there and ask about my order nor it being at another Publix location. I was in shock when they told me this. I’ve never had this issue before. I thought Publix was all about top tier customer service and care. I don’t appreciate the way Publix deli section cater to their customers.

Great store. Its laid out a little differently than other Publix stores that Im used to. The staff is friendly and helpful. No self checkout lane(s) though.

I went to this location on Labor Day, so I knew it was going to be crazy busy. I was so impressed by how friendly and dutiful the staff were even with how hectic it was! I hope whoever runs this store will let their staff know how incredible they are.

I go to Publix for the buy one / get one specials which are great. Otherwise Publix is outrageously high priced. Example: gallon of milk is 3.09. Same milk at Walmart is 1.89. Store is clean n employees very friendly.

I had a horrible in this Publix today. I have been shopping here for the past 15 years and today I was spoke. To very disrespectfully abs rudely by one of the persons who stock the shelves. While my wife and I were standing by the eggs and trying to decide which eggs we were gonna get, the agent comes up pulling a flat hand truck almost knocking us over. We had to move aside out of his way. This wasn’t bad enough, he then says rudely, excuse me I need to get in there. I said “hey, we are shopping. You need to wait a minute.” He’s said, “well I need to get in there”. I said that he was rude and we walked away to continue shopping. He kept on talking to his co worker who was next to him and laughing. I stood from the other end of the isle while observing his rude and terrible Behaviour and as we continue shopping he Walks over to us and ask me if I wanted a selfie because I kept on watching him. Honestly speaking, I let him have it. Because I was really upset with how he spoke to us. My wife was shopping g for someone we know who is pregnant. And when he saw the WIC checks in the cart he tried to humiliate us by saying look at what you are shopping with. I told him I wish he would step outside.

Rating is for the deli/sandwich counter only. Slow, apparently new. Had to talk them through preparing a signature sandwich. Terrible experience.

I love love publix but lately this location ive had several issues with first off last week I went to get a sub nobody even acknowledged I was there waiting for a while like hello... they made one person sub and walk away finally someone came from the back to make my sub. I then had to wait for pickles as the manager run around looking for pickles to only say we dont have dill pickles at this time. Again time wasted so last night I run into the store to get something sweet for my kids and purchased these cookies and cream brownies when I opened it I seen pieces of plastic on the brownies sharp plastic it was also in between the brownies. What if my kids wouldve opened these and choked.

I was in the express checkout with a couple items, 3 people from the front. A customer behind me a couple spaces walked up to the person bagging and said something. He he left and got another person who then took her to customer service to checkout. I made eye contact with the guy, who shrugged! I dropped my stuff and left! Get your people trained!!

Convenient location. Everyone Ive met who works there is very nice. I like that if there is an item they dont carry, you can ask the manager to order it for you.

Publix is one place Im sure to find what Im looking for. I love their variety on many items, their short lines which is due fully on their quick and polite customer service. Their wine selections are really great. And lastly, their bright and delightful atmosphere always seems to set a chill and relax mood.

I love Publix I always find just what I am looking for. It a reminder of PathMark in New York.

Came in for a sub at 12:30 and the girl katiann (I think that was how you spell it) had an attitude and kept barely putting anything in the sub. Then when she helped the next person her whole demeanor changed. I’m a very calm and relaxed person. I don’t know why she had her attitude but I felt weird that she was just being rude to me. I know people have bad days but when she changed instantly once I got my food, it was weird.

Terrible shopping experience. Horrible management that claim to uphold the Publix image. I bet they dont even tip the pizza guy. 0/5 if I could. Will never shop there again.

Had a terrible experience :(. SUPER rude customer care service. Like just don’t understand how people can be so mean. Also the cashier and bagger were dumb as a rock. NEVER going back that’s for sure!! The lady at the customer care must of been a Biden supporter. I should of coughed right in her face . HA! That’s how mean/disgusting her attitude was to me anyways

Terrible service at the deli this evening. Wasn’t my first bad experience. Employees working the sub counter didn’t even acknowledge me while I waited and were too busy making subs from online orders. Since this is my second bad experience there I will not be going back to this Publix.

I was needing information on chicken and turkey sausages and your manager Hannah was very helpful.

Every time I purchase the 8 count chicken already prepared, there’s only 7 pieces in the box. Either this is a way to “cut” cost, or the people who prepare the boxes can’t count. If you purchase the chicken here, get it from the folks behind the counter.

Publix always has exceptional service and food service especially their fried chicken.

This is our neighborhood Publix and we like to support it. Most of the employees are wonderful and our experience is awesome. But, when the store has an employee that clearly does not like his job and doesnt want to help people, we just dont understand. That is a part of the job. He is grumpy, never smiles or says hello and we dont go to his dept anymore if we see him. That is a shame and I am talking about the seafood and fish dept. His name is Cal and he should not be dealing with the customers. If I want that type of interaction, I could go to our Kroger!

Stood at deli over 5 minutes while 1 man waited on customer. While two other employees talked at weigh machine. The one working told one I needed help she was rude I obviously interrupted her social time . Ended up walking out.

Store employee in deli is really slow. He works getting paid by the hour. No sense of urgency, so hope you have 40 minutes to get a sandwich made by Dearix.

As far grocery store’s go it’s not bad at all. Everyone who works their is always very helpful & courteous. Folks in the deli with hot food are especially helpful & kind. The employees in the pharmacy go out of their way to be helpful as well. Come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience anywhere in this particular Publix at anytime. I cannot say the same thing for other grocery store’s in this local area. I only add this because it can be a problem sometimes. When you’re are younger or appear to be, sometimes it can be difficult to get quality service from older people in a small town like Grayson.

Ordered a cake from the bakery over the phone, girl taking order kept putting me on hold and then saying “now what was that again?” Totally incompetent, the next day the cake was not there, the bakery personnel found it scribbled on something but was not put on an order sheet properly.... I should have gotten her name, I would have called her out! There was a very small time window to get this cake to my 88 year old mother in law in assisted living due to Covid.... epic fail Publix!

I shop here often. I am 4 months pregnant and was craving some delicious Publix glazed donuts. On 6/10 I went and purchased a box. For some reason they tasted different than usual. 4 of the 6 are gone now btw I ate two and two of my kids are 1. They tasted weird and were very stale. The box has an expiration date of 6/11 they tasted so weird that I decided to smell one. The odor was so fohl that I almost threw up. It smelled like feet and old socks smh. I hope it doesnt harm my unborn child or my children that already had theirs.
