My experience with Mattress Overstock by far exceeded my expectations. From the moment my family & I walked in and started working with Jim Becker, it was the best customer service I have ever received. He was friendly, personable, experienced, and wasnt just trying to get me in and out. He helped find the perfect king size mattress for an extremely good price. After leaving the store that day, Jim was also very easy to get in touch with and was always responsive. On top of it, his delivery service went extremely smoothly. I will 100% be going back when I am ready to furnish my spare room. Jim is a stand up guy and went above and beyond for me. I truly appreciate all of his help. I highly recommend Mattress Overstock!

This is the second time in a year we have visited Mattress Overstock, and made a purchase. Rick has been great to talk to & work with. We needed a replacement mattress for our main bed. He showed us many varieties what we were looking for & prices. We bought one and were very happy! So when we needed a bed for a second bedroom, he again showed us a choice of beds. Wonderful customer service! Rick Kopsky was so caring and concerned with getting the right mattress for my 93 year old mother. She originally bought the wrong type of mattress for herself and called to see if she could get it exchanged. She had it for almost 2 weeks trying to get use to it. When she called, they said, come on in and we will gladly exchange the mattress. We want you to be comfortable. Rick patiently took the time to explain the differences of the types of beds and what would work best for her. He apologized for the first bed not working for her. Her comfort was his main concern. She chose a bed that will help with back pain and circulation. When it is delivered, the old bed will be removed and the new one set up. This was one of the best experiences in top quality service for us! If you are looking for a new mattress, this is the place to go!!!

From the minute my wife and I entered the store, we were greeted by Rick in a very friendly and professional manner. I was extremely happy to realize he was there to actually assist our needs and questions WITHOUT pushing for a sale, or trying to up-sell us, as we browsed their showroom. Rick took the time to show us around to recommendations from all spectrums on price and quality, and as we began to make a decision on what felt right for us, he showed us all the available options they had for the firmness we agreed on. Not once did I feel pressured into making a purchase or going above budget, and he shared his personal experiences with us for each type we had narrowed down to. He gave us a completely judgement-free experience, showing us the cheaper mattresses up to their more pricey options, but gave us examples of previous customers that have been satisfied OR dissatisfied by all of them. We were able to comfortably make an informed decision on our purchase without feeling like we were taken advantage of for a sale. They even went the extra mile to contact us after our sale was finalized to let us know that there was a delivery available on a the next day rather than the previously scheduled date later in the week! The delivery men were equally as polite and respectful, and all around made this a very pleasant experience for us. Rick and Jim are great. Second time we bought a vacation home and wouldnt buy our beds anywhere else. Rick helped me pick out our three beds for the family. They worked so well in our budget and delivered them out to Delavan Wisc. To them it was no big deal. The two delivery men were so careful with bringing the mattresses into our condo. Three king size beds are not easy to carry up 14 stairs and another 14 stairs to our bedroom. We love all three beds. Before you purchase a bed, go see Rick and Jim. You wil not be sorry. For anyone in need of a new bed, Mattress Overstock on Roosevelt in Lombard is the place to go. We have been going there for years and Jim, the owner, always provides the best level of customer service around. We just recently purchased a mattress and boxspring from him for our toddler daughter and once we put the conversion bed together, found we needed a bunkie board and not a boxspring. I called Jim, who said no problem, I have one in stock, and he drove it over today, by himself, to personally make the swap for us, all at no charge. He is a great small business owner that we will continue to use and I hope you will consider visiting him too.

This is a wonderful, family owned place that had much better prices than anywhere else. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating. They were also very knowledgeable about all of their products and best of all, they actually had products in store so we could walk away that day with our purchases!

Came here with my boyfriend Robert, the people who helped us were extremely kind and helped us with everything we needed even when we needed a bed ASAP! Called at 5:27pm to see if they had any twin mattresses in stock. I drove over, viewed a couple options, purchased, and had it loaded in the truck by 5:50pm. No pressure, friendly, and good selection. I highly recommend over those other chain stores. I will definitely be back.

We have bought several mattresses and pillows here over the years. Just sent my parents there for a new mattress. They tried multiple mattresses topper over the years but it was finally time to just get a new bed. Staff was very helpful.

I’m used to tossing and turning at night just thinking it was normal. I didn’t realize it might be the mattress. I did get the cool gel mattress and slept through the night, so definitely worth it. Excellent customer service and delivery. I’m very happy!

It was nice to finally talk to a sales representative that genuinely cared about what we wanted in a mattress vs. what we didnt like about the mattress we currently had. Mattress Overstock filed bankruptcy 1 year ago. Mattress Overstock once had 14 stores and are now down to 2 . Offer either manager 1/2 of what they are asking if you can leave with the merchandise. Many are waiting for refunds that didnt leave with the matt they purchased . Their business is a train wreck. Mattress Overstock is the worst place to buy a mattress unless you get it for 1/2 price and leave with it immediately.

Tom was phenomenal. Not only did he beat the prices at Macys and Mattress Firm but also included free same day delivery, setup, and removal. They gave me a great deal as well on a mattress pad, frame, and headboard. The delivery team was courteous and professional. Very pleased with my purchase as the whole team provided a phenomenal experience!

Awesome place to buy a bed. We had already tried several different beds in a box and wanted to feel like the salesman we were dealing with actually gave a damn about our quality of sleep. After stopping at Mattress Firm we got the vibe that they were just trying to makes sales on way overpriced beds.So we drove out to Mattress Overstock from the city on the recommendation of a friend and we couldnt be happier with our experience. Jimmy G listened to our experience with the beds in a box that we had returned and walked us through all the beds and features he thought would be good for us and we found something perfect for us. 2 months later were still sleeping tight. Well be going here the next time were in the market for a mattress. Highly recommend.
