We had not been to a JCPenney for a long time, but we were so glad we went here. After searching so many places it was the only place that had a dress in the right color and size. Not only that, but the very friendly cashier helped us find a coupon online that we could use right then and there, saving us a significant amount of money.

Never again will I step foot in a jcpenney. I ordered a bed on Sept 4, and was just NOW told my account is being issued a refund. My bed was supposed to be delivered by Oct 14. NOT ONE TIME did jc Penney call me to notify me of anything. I had to call 4 separate times, just to be told that I will be receiving a refund....which they also never notified me about until I CALLED THEM. So two months later I still have no bed! I have never been more angry or dissapointed with a retail establishment. I do not understand how any company can operate like this. NOT.ONE.PHONE.CALL. I spent over $600 and nothing. Absolutely nothing but frustration.

Love this JC Pennys at Wood field Mall. My boyfriend and I purchased a 1carat diamond ring and 1/2 carat diamond necklace! Absolutely love them. The sales associate, Wyoming, was so helpful and very patient with us while trying to decide. We just loved her. Her kindness was so appreciated!❤❤

I love coming to this JCPenneys because its never crowded and always have a large amount of clearance items. From clothing to shoes. I also get my hair done here at the salon Im African American and love how the ladies who arent my ethnicity try to do my hair and do a great job and how they want to do learn more about my peoples hair. At this location they have a very friendly saphora cosmetic store where they will also do your make up and give you tips. As far as the salon i did stop going because they charge extra for blow drying African American hair. $6-$10.00 now thats not good. Just find people who can do our hair not charge us more. Anyways, the store is cool.

I have not been to this location in over a year. While the staff I did see were friendly, the overall condition of the store has seriously declined. The floors and bathroom were dirty. Stock in cosmetic department non-existent, which is the only reason I went there (Sephora product). Finding staff anywhere but at a register was impossible. The word that comes to mind about the experience is shabby.

Ill write when I get to JCPenney to buy a California King bed. Talk to one of the JCPenney employees he gave us some good advice but he didnt work in the area that we was in so he went to go get someone for us.Me and my wife was standing there looking at the lady when the gentleman told her that we was looking for help on buying a bed so when she was on her way to us she went to another person and started helping them. I was truly in disbelief that the person that work in the bed area walk over to another customer an started helping them an never come to us who requested for her service. So we left and went to another store and got our bed

For decades, I have always loved JCPenney. Right now there are some killer discounts and yes I did shop. I got womens sweaters, ladies long sleeve tees, knit pants and boots for a fraction of the price. I found out that this facility is not closing down - yet so I am happy. The only downside as with most stores, no more trying on items (damn Covid) but at least you can do returns if it doesnt fit right).

I cannot rate the inside because I did a curbside pick up. I call to let them know I am there to pick up my order and the girl hung up on me. My first time there so I called back and a nice lady told me I have to drive around to the back to pick up my item.

My hair stylist Lana did great 👍job on my hair. She is the truly a great stylist.

Im a gold member.. I was just there 2 days ago and spent almost $300. I was never asked if I was a member, if I had the credit card, etc! Very unfortunate how the quality of customer service has dropped so drastically. (Especially being there are half the people that are shopping due to Covid!) I am aware of the decline in service being I used to work at this location in 2004! Tip of the day... “Customer service is KEY in retail!”

Actually thought they werent?Nice items nice deals.Definitely shop there before they are gone..One prob, I walked for 15 min before closing time and did not see an employee either?Just heard over loud speaker ...: we are closing in 5 min ...ect. They had the prettiest Easter dresses for my granddaughters first Easter.

Totally dissatisfied with there pickup in store location. I understand wanting and hoping that by walking through the store may make you buy something you didnt intend to buy. When exhausted, you dont shop. Bring your pickup closer to middle of the store, not all the way at the rear entryway by the loading dock.

The place is clean and organize, which I like. There isnt a lot of good deal though, buy one retail price and pay the second one at 60%. Even at 40% off for the second one is great.... but after getting my receipt, they didnt apply my 40% off. They couldnt help me at that instance, told me I have to go to the exchange & return downstairs. When I found the return spot, I asked for a full refund.

JCPenney at Yorktown Mall in Lombard IL is the best department store the staff are very friendly to me. Store is very clean huge great selections different department. Sales are great bought my frame for my photo fits pants for my work fits and stuff fits on me. I like their socks and shoe. Customer service check great very helpful mangers are wonderful. I lived in Algonquin IL fourty five minutes drive to the store it worth a trip. I used have JCPenney store in Spring Hill Mall same looks they closed their door 2011 in Spring Hill Mall in West Dundee. The JCPenney in Harth Mall in Vernon Hill Algonquin on Randall Road very small but Penney in Yorktown is very huge place to shop and great men house shoe and jewerly department to shop and friendly store. I gave this store rating 10 and five stars for the great serivce frienldly department store in Yorktown Mall than Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg. I wish them well.

JC Penney is a great store. Good prices on almost everything. They dont change watch batteries or take links out of watches anymore. Its a real clean store.

JCPenney Photos Studio: Poor service I paid almost $200 for pictures that wasnt professional at all...it was very rushed because you only get 15mins...she took pics knowing my shirt was out of place. My husbands shirt Collar was up on one side. She could have told us so we could fix it. She had no toy or something to help the baby focus and to help the baby smile. Oh and FYI they do no editing.

Hadnt been here in a long time. Surprised by large selection of Pokemon toys available, more than what ToysRUs used to have. Was hard to find an open register, seems a bit limited in some apparel. Not bad overall.

The coupons are horrible to use! They say its a few $20 but you have to spend $50 & a million restrictions! The sales people who get paid to work there offer information that is incorrect! Kohls coupons are way easier. Kohls cash is just that, use just like cash!

I love Penneys. The store where I shop is beautiful, clean and prices are great, as is the quality of the merchandise. I do wish they still had a catalog sent out every year and especially at Christmas.

Horrible service. The store is short staffed so it was impossible to find help, however Sephora has their section well staffed. I saw an item online, but JC Penneys website would not allow me to purchase the item and pick it up. I had to actually come in the store and shop (Im still traumatized from the ancient practice 😂). Well, after searching for 10 minutes, I finally found the item I came to purchase, but it wasnt clear if the item was truly on sale. The only salesperson in the department was with a customer trying on an old school herringbone chain from the 90s, a Kangol hat would have completed his look. I ventured to the register and took a chance. Now, there are six people in line. 🤦, two cashiers and six customers. Wait, one cashier the other person who resembles a manager walks away and leaves the brave young lady by herself. When I left, I promised myself I would never shop in this store again...if the store refuse to ship it and the item is only available in the store, forget it, its not worth it.

Still like Pennys but seems like theyre understocked right now.

I love jc peeny

I love this store, especially their plus size womens clothing. However, I went there today to buy some Jeans and I found that they have moved the plus sizes to the upper level and mixed them in with the smaller sizes. I found it difficult to find what I was looking for. I liked it much better when the plus sizes were all together on the lower level.

Before the Coronavirus Shut down JC Penny use to have a nice selection of things I liked. But since they reopened it seems as if they are trying to just sell off what was still in the store before the shut down. Which I understand but as hot as it is selling winter clothes in the summer wont get shoppers in your store.

We go here for the photo sessions. Were always lucky to have good experiences. Our son has gone through every emotion with the staff here and they are always accommodating and understanding. The staff goes above and beyond to help capture the best shots. Jinx and Lisa were two of the photographers who have gotten the best shots of our little guy. I recommend giving them a try.

What a great store!! I worked today as a UNION contractor and really got a behind the scenes look and what I found was a very clean well organized store with clean backrooms and employees that are polite and helpfully even when there is no management figures around. A wholesome throwback to when people were well mannered and considerate. I hope they are around for a long time.
