Von Maur Yorktown Center is the best! My wife had spent weeks looking for a dress and accessories for our sons upcoming wedding. After visiting numerous stores over several weeks we finally got to Von Maur Yorktown. What a great store. Theres a huge selection to choose from and an outstanding staff to assist with very gracious and professional service. Debbie (dresses), Don (shoes), Marybeth (purses) and Gwen (cosmetics) are truly outstanding! We will gladly return for further fashions needs even though we live about 50 miles away!

Quite possibly the best selection for clothes, shoes, home decor. Well appointed. Incredible staff. One of the stores where its worth going into!

I love Von Maur but I would highly recommend not getting anything tailored here. I bought a dress which I took to the seamstress and asked for it to be tightened around the bottom and shortened a little bit. They shortened the dress for me but did not tighten it. When I brought the dress back after picking it up and asked again about tightening the dress the seamstress told me she didn’t do it and doesn’t want to because “it looks fine” and if I insisted they were going to have to charge me and it won’t be ready for over a week. Sure enough I went to a tailor by my house and for a few dollars they tailored the dress perfectly and it was ready for pick up 5 hours later. Buy the clothing at Von Maur but if you need altering- go elsewhere.

I would recommend this place for anything. They have other shoes makeup and what not. They also have a mall attached to their store witch is great for buying toys or food. They have practiy anything you can imagine in the store I would highly recommend. Sometimes the prices may be a bit high although great place

They have such nice clothes for kids. We even looked in the clearance items and they had more mike things then the nike outlet and with great prices! I highly recommend going here!

I went to get a Chanel red lipstick to match one that I had but unfortunately I didnt know the color of the lipstick so the store associate helped me find one that was comparable. I asked for it to be put in a bag since I was taking a bus home 🏡 and she wrapped it really nicely. I was very happy my purchase.I have also purchased shoes 👞in the clearance and I can usually find some shoes that are great and at a great discount. Check it out.

Very friendly staff with stylish clothes and great buys on the sales racks.

No enforcement of the mask policy at all. Saw severalPeople walking around with no masks. And someone in the shoe department was actually helping two ladies with no masks and their kids and to my knowledge didn’t say anything. It was the children’s department. And we know kids under 12 cannot get the vaccine. I was there with my under two year old who cannot wear a mask. I was not happy. And one of the kids was coughing and old enough to wear a mask.

Love Von Maur! Such an all around awesome store - really nice and friendly, helpful staff. The store items are quality and they have great sale racks all the time! They have the best dress area for all occasions! This store has the most beautiful womens restroom!!!

The store was very neat, the sales associates were helpful, but to the point of pushy which I dont really appreciate.. They had beautiful dresses but they usually have a better selection to choose from.

The Von Maur store at the Yorktown Shopping Mall in Lombard, Illinois is a lovely store with an wonderful selection of merchandise. Prices for just about every budget. The staff are excellent, friendly, helpful and relatable. I have shopped at Von Maur around the country and appreciate the experience in each one.

I love the old fashioned excellent customer service! My grandmother worked for Marshall Fields for years and Von Maur is the closest I have come to finding that experience. Exceptional. Have mailed many baby gifts and the woman who works in your baby section is wonderful!!!

I love all the vonmaurs. This one is one if the bigger ones I have seen. Curbside is easy and right inside one of the doors. Staff is always friendly. Online shopping is easy. Nothing but good experiences from this store.

Living an hour away, I usually used to shop at Nordstroms which was closer to me than Von Maur. However, I had gained a little weight (menopause) and needed a suit to wear to a couple of funerals and my sister-in-law offered to take me to Von Maur. When she worked in an office years ago, that was her go to clothing store. She would walk in, tell a salesperson what she needed and head to the dressing room. Then the woman would bring an assortment for her to try on. Thats what was done for me today, so the service is still amazing after all these years! I got exactly what I needed without having to go in and out of the dressing room to choose things myself. Thank you Von Maur for having incredible sales people. Ill be back!

Shopping at Von Maur today was a good experience. But we were really sorry to hear that the gift wrapping service is no longer available. It was a big part of our love of Von Maur, You must bring that service back, with the beautiful wrapping paper . It made your store unique.I have been a very happy customer since the store opened in Yorktown Mall.Please dont make changes that will tarnish your stores image.

My first time at this location and totally not impressed. Customer service totally lacks. One young lady spoke in the formal wear department, and one young lady was very nice in women shoes-didnt get her name but associate #660548 on receipt that assisted us with our purchases. Had to mention her number because all of the ladies were horrendous except for her, they looked at us and looked away. The Orland Park location is prettier/cleaner, and offers better customer service. Bigger doesnt always means better! They are in dire need of customer service classes at Yorktown, we will not be back!! So Not impressed!!! Was so shocked, expected better!!!

Very nice store. I was surprised when a sales associate asked us if she could be any help finding what we needed. My wife told her that she was looking for dress slacks. It wasnt her department, so she took us to another sales associate and she help us. Good quality clothing and excellent service. What more could you ask for.

Purchased from the store in December 2019 was told unlimited return policy so long as tags on and receipt. Purchased 5 mother-of-the-bride dresses. Went to return three and was told they no longer honor the policy. Cant get response from corporate office. Only giving store credit. Curious how long Ill have to use the credit before they close. Ill now be faithful to Nordstrom going forward. Very disappointed in the customer service!

There is so much to love about Von Maur from the hand painted pictures on the walls to the antique furniture and Creature Comforts of a nice bathroom. The clothing is always a treat because you can find exactly what youre looking for and then some. The store is always very tidy and even live piano music makes this not only a necessity for shopping but truly an experience.

I went to purchase shoes and couldnt find a sales associate on the floor so I left the shoe dept. Went down to misses and an associate was on the phone, it took her forever to greet me during her calls. She did more watching then assisting. I made a purchase only because I saw a gorgeous blouse. They have outstanding pieces but service could improve.
