Very knowledgeable staff here. From the people helping you check in and pick out frames to the doctors themselves. Im glad I went it, they really looked at my eyes and let me know I needed to see a specialist and gave me a referral for my doctor. They worked with my insurance and let me know of all costs and what was covered before I even picked anything out. I would recommend this place, even though its in a mall, they did wonderfully.

I ni had looked around for a new eye place when I switched insurance through work. I decided Visionworks because of how well known the brand is. Made my appointment online which was easy. I went and had my eye appointment for contacts. The eye exam was easy and we found contacts that worked. A couple of days later I noticed they werent working so I scheduled another appointment. We ended up finding out contacts werent going to be a good fit for me. I had already ordered contacts but they were able to refund me and apply my insurance to the glasses instead. I ended up ordering 2 complete pairs with frames I liked. My favorite part was I was able to browse the frames without pressure of picking right away and no nosey employees throwing frames at me saying try this one like when i go to other eye places. I will admit, it was more pricey than what I was used to but overall, I was very happy with my experience and I feel like it was worth every penny! Definitely try this place next time you need an eye exam!

They told my my prescription was expired when it was not. Their company policies are confusing and misleading. They send me a yearly appointment reminder for an appointment I didn’t make, but calledTo let me know they will cancel my appointment I made (for a botched prescription) if I don’t fill out the form which I already filled out two weeks ago. The company needs to get their act together. Everyone at the Lombard location was great except the person who said they couldn’t refill my prescription even though it was still valid costing me a hundredDollars plus in a visit.

My family of 5 came here for our appointments 8 minutes late and vision works associates told us 2 of us would have to reschedule because they couldnt fit all of us in... The lesson learned, walked out and gave our patronage to a different vision works. I believe in values of a Dr. Office should be better than a puppy mill mentality!

Unfortunately my whole family kept going back to this location and in the last 3 years they have never sent the contract lenses to a correct address. The Doctor was pleasant and very nice. The staff? Horrendous. The staff has no clue what they are doing. Worst experiences ever.

Awful customer service. They didnt provide any directions to the store which made it hard to find. Searched all over the mall to find them and when I finally found them they said I was late and couldnt take me even though there was no one in the store. Additionally when I called to check to see if they took my insurance the person said that they where busy and would call me back. Never got a call back. Very disappointing.

Had a wonderful experience at Visionworks Yorktown. Staff was very professional and friendly. Want to especially thank Samantha for her great service, calling my insurance to make sure they would cover everything, and for answering all of my questions!

Absolutely amazing place. I made a same day appointment and they let me come in early. The gentleman was awesome. I felt so welcomed and not nervous at all. The doctor was incredible. Will absolutely come back for my next appointment .

Very helpful staff and a good selection of frames. They had a sale 2 pairs of progressive glasses for $89 how could you go wrong? I admit I was suspicious but it worked out well. They just asked once if I wanted any upgrades and when I said no all was cool. Got my glasses before they said they would be ready.Fit well with a minor adjustment to one pair. I would buy from them again.

Everything went well with my appointment except that my insurance will renew the next month. The optical technician made sure to explain what was going on. I still went through the whole examination smoothly. Dr. Yasin was very informative and answered all my questions. She was very thorough, made sure I understood everything, and provided recommendations regarding what eyeglasses would fit for my needs. I would definitely recommend this location and would be coming back for sure.

My family has been seeing Dr. Yasin for many years now and we are always satisfied with our experience. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this location! Five stars!

Bad experience at Lombard, Illinois location inside Yorktown Mall. They called on Wed and said my glasses were ready, asked if the glasses for my wife were too. They said yes, We went to Sat to pick up our glasses ( wife was excited to get hers ). Well, only mine were in. Wife went to the bathroom and told her the bad news. That is how long the pickup transaction lasted. Wasnt ask to sit down, was handed my glasses, asked if I could read something on the counter and that was about it. I told the girl I needed them fitted twice, and both times she just warmed up temples and handed them back. Not even checking how they fit or how loose they are. They fall off my face. I gave up and asked if my wifes glass could be sent to another store. She did not get the hint I was not happy. I contacted visionworks Customer Service today twice and NO ONE contacted Me back. Extremely disappointed customer

I had the best experience! I couldn’t quite decide which glasses I wanted and Alondra was very nice & helpful. She helped me pick my glasses and which kind of contacts to get. I will definitely come back again.

Had a great experience! Doctor was great very personable. My optical tech did an amazing job he got to know me and what I was looking for and provided a great experience we even discussed our similar musical tastes!! Highly recommend.

After waiting for 20 min I get asked how can I help you I told by ( Nicole) im here to pick up my glasses she said have a seat.....then she took the next customer and went to get her glasses while Im waiting to get mines....VERY RUDE OF HER then I waited another 15 min before the eye dr came to ask me if I wanted to purchase some grasses .....smh I reply by saying no IM PICKING THEM UP then when I try them on they where a lil loose and she going to tell me that how they suppose to look and feel SMH ... i pay so why can I get what I pay for.....smh I WILL BE CALLING THE CORPORATE ABOUT THIS RUDE STAFF.....

This was without question the best experience Ive ever had purchasing eyeglasses. From the exam prep, to the actual exam, to the frame selection. i was greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable staff who were enthusiastic and genuinely wanted to provide a great experience. And they did. Brenton was especially kind as were the two other staff members whose names I apologize for not having. I would recommend this location to anyone who finds this process daunting because they made it fun and easy. Thanks for being great at your jobs.

I’ve been to this location about 3 times and the staff and doctor were nice but were about 30 minutes behind each time. I’m understanding and I like the location so I scheduled my fourth appointment and after they called to confirm my appointment several time, they called and canceled me two hours prior. I will not be returning to this location until punctuality becomes a higher priority

I loved everything about this place went to another Vision Works in North Riverside and it was very had a very bad experience then went to the one in Yorktown and it was totally different thats where I will go back from now on the Visionworks in Yorktown one of the workers Charles he was very nice and helpful he helped me pick out my frames and I love them

Dr Yasin always provides me a very thorough eye examination. In addition to that she goes above and beyond to educate me on health issues that in turn relate to my vision as well as providing detailed results of my exam.. I get my exam at the store in which I find frames. I walked into Visionworks at Yorktown Mall and hopefully will never go to any other place again. I’m 64 and have been wearing glasses since kindergarten and I have never had such a painless and fun time choosing frames as I did here thanks to Brenton and Samantha. They were so friendly, fun and honest and never made me feel like I was over staying my welcome. I felt like they were my kids. I honestly believe they were looking out for me and what looked best. Also, I have never had a more friendly or informative exam give by such a lovely women, Dr Unbreen Yasmin. Also, just picked up my frames after only 4 days and Mayra helped me. Very professional, have great selection, and the staff was helpful. I was not happy with the pair I picked out and was not aware of the return policy. I went in to exchange my pair, I was told by an associate that I couldnt and all sales were final. Called back a few days later to speak to a manager and they reassured me that there was a 30 day customer satisfaction guarantee. I went back in again and talked to the manager where she was more than helpful and helped me pick out another pair. Everything was awesome except that sales associate telling me he couldnt help me. #customersatiafaction

On my trip to see family I decided to stop by this place to get a new pair of glasses. I was amazed at how clean this store was compared to some other stores I went to. The Doc was super friendly and she got Emily to help me pick out a really nice frame. They really took the time to help me decide which frame suits my face. The price point was pretty reasonable as well especially considering all the nice brands they carry. Friendly and outstanding staff for sure. 10/10. Will come again next time Im in town.

Worst customer service experience I have ever had .You can never ever get help when you call in. They always put you on hold then someone new gets on the phone and ask you the same question after 5 to 10 minutes. Expect for this to continue at least two times before you actually get what you need done. This is happened at least three times. Doesnt matter if its a weekday or weekend. It seems like its more than a staff problem and more like organizational protocol problem.

Dr Yasin was amazing! She was comprehensive and thorough in her exam. She is very kind and caring, and that showed during the eye exam. I know I’ve found my Optometrist.

Had a great experience today at vision works in lombard. When we walked in we were greeted right away. Hilary was our tech and was super energetic & made my son feel very comfortable. Dr. Rowan was also very nice and professional. Alondra helped us pick out a great frame for my sons glasses and explained all the options available for us and explained the insurance benefits. I would definitely recommend vision works in lombard. Great staff!

The exam and everything went fine, no quarrels about that, I left knowing that I could call and they could order my contacts over the phone, that’s what they told me and I made sure that was the case. I won’t use names, but I called once to order the contacts and was put on hold, then I was told the purchasing person will call me back. No one ever called me back. I called another day and was put on hold so the associate could look up the price of another contact lens. The gentleman got back on the line and couldn’t hear me and after 3 sec hung up and didn’t call back (I had AirPods in so sometimes they cut out). I called back and was told he was unavailable. I don’t get it, don’t you want my business? I won’t recommend this business to anyone else, terrible and frustrating experience.

I have been going to Dr. Yasin for a few years now. She takes the time to listen to your concerns and I never felt rushed. She takes the time to make you feel like you are the only patient there that day. I have since moved but still make an appt to see her when I come back in town since I have not found another eye dr who provides the same level of care. I trust her as my Dr. and her staff are very friendly and helpful as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Yasin!

1:30 appointment made way in advance. Its 2:30 and Im still waiting. Not sure if the couple of people waiting before me still have to go, but this is ridiculous.

This location is a prime example of employees that can not conform to professional standards. Stay away if you want to save yourself major aggravation!
