Closes earlier than what is posted. Store hours say on the store door as well as online that Sunday it closes at 5pm. I arrived 4:45, store was already closed. That is waste of my time coming here just to go back. While I was outside writing this review several other customers came and were also disappointed.Also I have following complaints:1. Staff is usually neither friendly nor helpful, Torrance store staff has both these qualities, but that is extra drive for me.2. Staff is also not very knowledgeable. They dont even know what is in there store and what is not.3. Online orders take forever to pick. It would be faster for me to come and just find things myself then waiting for the workers to find my order.If they are competing with Home Depot or Lowes, but they are much smaller, at least they can provide friendly and efficient customer service which the big stores are missing.What a waste of Sunday... 15 minutes drive + 10 minutes writing this review.

I called on the phone asked if they had a particular product and let him know it was a certain type and not the other. He said that they had it, so I went over and they had the one I didnt want. Wasted my time. They have some good products there, but ignorant employees.

Had a wonderful experience with Josh. Was having concerns about a neighbors window screen they needed replaced. He took the time to explain what he would do and reassured me that it would fit properly. I must also say the price was very reasonable.

All Ace hardware are not the same, it not the place of helpfulness, no one here knows anything about anything. Go to the one in Long Beach CA.on 4th St.

This ace is the place to go and how they tend to costumers is very helpful and professional. But the one on Carson st is a different story. Its literally ruins the whole experience one would get when visiting Aces stores.the store in lomita they tend to you and genuinely try to help you out but the one in Carson st and not all staff just some short chubby Hispanic that works there doesnt want to do anything and follows you around like if youre trying to steal something.. very rude and unprofessional individual . But lomita service is exceptional.

I have to say, I had my doubts. But amazingly, instead of making do with whatever the big box store carries, I got what I needed by coming here! I even found upgrades to my weed whacker that I always thought SHOULD exist, but never knew *actually* existed because, again, Big Box doesnt carry it. If you have specific needs that Big Box doesnt meet, dont just settle, make do, or modify something they carry. Ace just might be the place to get what you really need.Oh yes, the parking lot spaces are small, just like everyone else says. Its best if you enter from the non-PCH crossstreet (I think its Narbonne?).

Avoid getting lost in a big box store - come here for quick service! Also the place for small, loose parts, or the closest equivalent. No other hardware store can match the variety.

I have been to this particular Ace Hardware a couple of times and both times, the girls working their are on their phones and just talking to each other. No help whatsoever! You ask for something and they just blurt out an isle number. Yesterday I waited to pay for almost 5 minutes before someone came up front. I would have left, but needed the item I was there to get. The other employees have been very helpful!

I went to the ace hardware store on Carson then another on Lomita Blvd. 12 minutes away. They were both out of Turpentine but the price difference was insane The one on Carson Blvd was 4 to 5 dollars less costly for all their inventory. So if you live in any area that reads this check for inventory and more importantly prices.

I love hardware stores anyway...but this one is quick and easy and the employees are helpful and patient...plus you can find some unique items there

Great service, you would have thought the sales associates were there for years. In actuality it was both their first day. Manager had to special order my paint. I love good local service. Way more professional than the big box hardware stores.

Very well stocked hardware store that takes you back to the days of smaller places of business with more personal service. Prices on most items are reasonable. Not crowded so you can shop without the hectic feeling of the larger home improvement stores. Plenty of parking on the back side of the building.

I went in for a box cutter and two people helped me to find the perfect one. Each time I go in Ace Hardware I am pleasantly impressed.

The one on PCH is better than the one on 25th/Western. They carry more goods, are friendlier & happy to help out. Also the prices in SP run a few $$ more than the store in Lomita on PCH, & PCH has the sales prices marked (ex: 75% off), where the SP location does not. Just picked up $105 in Christmas lights for $26 in Lomita! 👍

Friendly staff, just about all the basic stuff for construction repairs under one small shop. Well organized, parking is kind of limited.

I like to shop local when I can but they never seem to have what I need. Dont go if in a hurry.

Been in here about dozen times over the years and they never have the items needed that should be stocked.Update: downgraded to a 1 star due to fact that they showed 3 pcs in stock of a flush valve and when I went there was none. The staff there is also completely clueless.If you want to shop at a local ACE, recommend the one of Sepulveda & PV drive. They have good selection and staff are very friendly & knowledgeable.

Large selection of items; helpful staff

I love Ace Hardware in general and this new location is no different. Other hardware stores overwhelm me when Im usually looking for a few items or simple things. This stores layout is similar to other Aces except the lighting seems to be brighter here, must be different types of light bulbs.This location just opened so everything is brand new! They make keys here as well. I usually go to Ace to get keys copied, quick and easy, not to mention affordable.Located next to Wells Fargo, shared parking lot in the back.
