Archery in the Wild is a phenomenal shop. To start I live on the Western Slope and was interested in purchasing a Prime bow; the only dealers I could find were in the Denver area. I emailed 5 different shops to inquire and Boyd was the only shop that gave me the time of day; he called to talk me through the purchase and help with every aspect of the process. He went above and beyond!I just purchased the Prime Nexus 4 today and it was a great experience. Jackson did an awesome job setting up my bow; just got back from the range and was amazed how well the whole setup shot. I cannot say enough good things, I would highly recommend Archery in the Wild for your archery needs!

Boyd got me fixed up with an awesome bow setup! I walked in with a general ideaOf what I wanted, so he rigged up several different bows, allowed me to shoot all of them, and helped me find what felt right. After I picked one out, Boyd and his employee Jackson fine-tuned my bow to fit me perfectly. Boyd’s expertise on the different products was very helpful, and he showed genuine interest in me and my hunting pursuits. I was impressed by the Vast selection of top-of-the-line bows and accessories. Don’t shop at Scheels, stop at Archery in the Wild where they care about their customers!

Went in to see if I could get my bow quieted somehow. I have/had a little twang in my string. I wish I had gotten the names of the fellows that helped, but failed to. When I walked in, I was immediately approached and asked if I needed help. I explained my situation and he pleasantly offered to listen as I shot the bow. He grabbed another fellow and they stood on either side of me to listen intently. They both thought it was pretty quiet, but still offered a solution. To make a long story short, I left there with my bow quieter and a happy man. I was provided very quick and outstanding customer service. They were as friendly and nice as can be. Unlike most archery shops....especially Denver area shops that make you feel like you are not welcome. Thank you for an outstanding experience. I will be sure to take all my archery needs there in the future.

I recently purchased a new bow from Archery in the Wild. I will say that the staff was extremally helpful in getting my new bow setup in time for a league that was happening that same night. When I experienced and issue with one of the accessories I chose the owner stood behind the products he sold and made it right.I find this shop to be one off the most inviting shops n the area and really enjoy taking my wife and kids here to spend time on the range and socialize with the staff and other archers. I have no problem sending my wife or kids to this shop without me as I know they will be treated with respect and dignity. This shop has built a culture that welcomes new archers into the archery community. I would not hesitate to send someone looking to get into archery here.

Boyd and staff are great. My father and I first entered the shop on the suggestion of a close friend. We walked out with two new bows, new sights, and everything else you could possibly want. But more importantly, we walked out with smiles on our faces. Boyd sold us exactly what we were looking for. We told him our budget and our needs, and he met our needs far before our budget. We have been back in several times, for one huge reason. Honesty. I have visited several pro shops since I got into archery. One in Fort Collins and two in Denver, and none of them have come close to Archery in the Wild. If I can say one thing, do yourself a favor and visit Boyds shop. You will not be sorry.

I really needed a new string on my bow after travailing to Colorado for an elk trip from Florida. My string was showing odd wear after tuning it up before the hunt. I called a few shops and they all said we would have to order a string, it will take a week. Well I was due to leave on a hunt in 2 days and did not want to go out with a questionable bow. I called Archery in the Wild and the shop said the could make me a string and it would be done the next day! I could not be happier with the service and the work that was done. Great shop and great people! Customer for life!

My bow of 12 plus years broke 3 weeks before my archery season was to happen. I told the guys in the shop that I couldnt afford a thousand dollar bow but wanted a bow that would last me and be a good western hunting rig. Boyd and Gary directed me to a Hoyt Charger and got me shooting. They also showed me a couple of real well maintained used Mathews bows for about the same money. They let me shoot them as long as I wanted to compare without any pressure. Chose the Charger after numerous shots and couldnt be happier! Boyd tuned the bow and worked with me till we were both satisfied and I have never shot this well. New technology, what a concept, My groups are much better and my confidence is through the roof. Thanx for the great customer service!

I went in today for the first time with my 13 year old son. I purchased a bow from another store and needed their expertise to get him set up since I am not a bowhunter (I know very little about them). I expected to get some grief for not buying the equipment there but they didnt say a word. They were just super helpful, informative and took the time to make sure that the tension was right, the draw length was right, and the arrows were cut down to his size. Then they gave him some pointers on proper stance and technique. Overall it was just a great experience.

Boyd and the team know their stuff because they love it. From day one, they took the time to lead me through the process explaining everything as we went. As a novice, I was not pointed to all of the top of the line equipment and each piece of equipment needed was described by brand (pros and cons) so I could make informed decisions. They are very friendly and easy to deal with and sell high quality archery equipment and supplies. The indoor range is outstanding too for practice or tuning. Are they the cheapest store in town? Probably not but the level of expertise and service far outweighs the difference in my opinion. If youre into archery whether it be target shooting or hunting, stop by and check it out.

I bought a used compound bow from a friend, and took it out to AItW for tuning and set-up. These guys did a great job doing so. They had me shoot and then fine tuned the bow even more, until it was perfect (well, as good as my shooting allowed!) Then they quickly assembled a dozen arrows for me (for a very reasonable price) and I was on my way. Going back tomorrow to have my recurve set-up :)Update; I did return with my recurve, thinking it would need a new string, full tune up etc. Boyd set it up (with my existing string) new silencers and what-not. Shoots GREAT now. Cost was VERY reasonable, much less then I expected :)

You only have to screw up someones bow once to have them never come back. The guys at this shop dont really care about their customers and it shows. I spent a couple hundred dollars getting new limbs, cams, string and string stop installed on my bowtech. Turns out that Boyd ordered and installed the wrong cams on my bow. When i picked it up, the draw length was 2 inches longer than it was supposed to be and Boyd tried assuring me that I was wrong and the draw length looked correct. The problem is the draw was so long that my arrows wouldnt even touch my rest anymore.Final straw was when i drew my bow the string was rolling out of the cam and riding the top edge of the mod (seriously dangerous) and you could see where the cams were making contact with something because the paint wore off the edge. So i drive back to the shop and they tell me that is how all bowtechs are and i needed to shoot my bow more and it would go away... WRONG ANSWER proshop. I had them put my old cams back on and they wouldnt refund my money for the wrong cams they ordered. They would only give me store credit, which i think is crap because it was their fault that they ordered the wrong cams not mine. They finally admitted that the other cams, just werent right for my bow.

I brought in a couple arrows recently to have the fletching re glued. I was told that if I bought the fletching, they would put them on for me. They didnt mention anything about a labor fee for applying the fletching (which seems reasonable). When we went in to pick the arrows up, the total was almost $20 for just fletching on 2 arrows. Seems to me I would have been better off buying a couple new arrows for that price. I settled the bill and called later to inform the owner that I was a little disappointed with the overall cost and that I wasnt told about the labor fee. I didnt ask for a refund or a discount. I was plainly providing feedback.Sadly, I didnt even get a simple apology. Not once! I am a small business owner and that was a real shocker to me. It is very unlikely that I would return to a place of business where the owner isnt sympathetic to his customers concerns.
