This is my all time favorite thrift store. I never leave empty handed. The staff are so sweet. Their prices are fair compared to other thrift stores in the area. A lot of the reviews seem very negative but I always look foreword to coming back each week to find some new amazing finds!
Amazing how I used to think Goodwill was all about a hand up, not a hand out. This Goodwill is only about outrageous prices. They refused to even negotiate with me on prices for a few pairs of shoes, which were so close to retail price as to make it not even worth it. I would not recommend this place to anyone. All they care about is money and not about helping anyone or giving people who need help a little break. Just sad.
Unpleasant experience here. The sunday evening staff at the registers were unprofessional and rude. They refused to open the glass case for a customer that stood in line before their check out cut off time. They complained about customers shopping too close to closing time and said get the frick out of here, were closed as the last two customers checked out. As we unpacked our items into our arms inside the cart area, one of the staff members came over hollering that they were closed and rushed us out.
Got to the donation area 4 minutes early and had our heads ripped off! Just tried to donate a couple of pieces of furniture that were in good shape, instead of taking them to a dump, and got the tongue lashing of the century because we were 4 minutes early and tried to help by unloading them for the worker. He literally yelled at us for 5 minutes! I dont think I will ever donate there again
I found some really cute stuff but there wasnt a great selection of size 0 jeans
This is a great thrift store. I found every thing I wanted
Couldnt tell if they would accept my donation - wouldnt even go ask store manager. I understand rejecting it if items are in bad shape, but the guy there couldnt tell what items they would or wouldnt accept based on me returning with them in 20 minutes - I wanted to know if they accepted furniture in general (subject to their picky inspection) and they wouldnt say. Such nonsense. The ARC had no problems with the furniture and were happy to have it.
They jacked their prices, but other than that, I love goodwill.
Nice place I like supporting Good Will services but they are getting a little pricey.
I like that I can occasionally find decent secondhand items here however, Goodwill has gotten too expensive & greedy. Clothes that are literally donated here for free are taken and sold for WAY too much money. Today was 50 percent off of the greens tags but there was hardly anything in the store with green tags. Terrible customer service on top of charging way too much for donated items. I now understand why there was nobody shopping in the store today. Also if you want to return something even if you have the receipt and tag you only get store credit. The worst.
This store is awesome! The employees are friendly and helpful. The drop off behind the store is fast and easy. Someone will even help unload your stuff! I try to go here at least once a month for things for home, camping, my grown kids and grandkids. And I get a Senior discount!!!!
This is the worst good will drop off I’ve ever been to. I have been 3 times now and have still not been able to drop stuff off. They are currently only open until 2pm and don’t take things in the rain FIY. Save some time and go to another location. 🙄
Good selection of products and great service
Terrible experience with staff and management, I cannot believe the rude attitudes added to the blatant discrimination against me and my family for our disability. On top of the disrespect and disregarde for Boulder County rules and regulations, this store is filthy and disgusting, the floor looks like it hasnt been cleaned since 1995, and there are people walking around and sitting on the furniture for sale with no shoes and black feet. From the looks of the reviews, Im not the only one who will be avoiding this place like the plague.
A nicely laid out thrift store. Bought a very nice kitchen corner shelf and lots of baby clothes for our new great nephew.
The staff was very very rude when we tried to drop off some stuff. Never will go there again, they need to close this one down
Absolutely excellent customer service. Slight uncleanliness, but product was organized. Cashiers were prompt and friendly. Also, I found excellent priced record albums, decor, and clothes (what I was looking for). Recommended over other thrift stores. And many other stores, for that matter.
I could not try on any clothes due to the fact the dressing room closes 1 hour before the store does. If you buy the clothing and it does not work for you then they will give you a store credit if you return them with the tag still on and the receipt. One of the items did not even have a tag. Bad business if you ask me.
Good way to shop for inexpensive things and contribute to the community. Great selection, exceptional prices, though the staff can be moody. Nonetheless, love you going there on occasion!
If you look at certain times.. there are great deals on good furniture and brand new clothes. Worth the trip.
Quite amazing. 50% off day is killer. Quite busy some days, but good deals are to be found. Majourity of articles are in good condition. No stains, rips, etc. Bike selection has fixer uppers. Quite amazing.
Dont let the store name fool you. These are the worst people to work for. They dont pay they workers what they are worth yet they expect them to work themselves to death. They are always understaffed and their excuse is always that its because there is a problem with payroll. Yet they make money off free stuff and get free volunteer help all the time. Yet they cant afford to pay more than minimum wage or get a big enough warehouse for the donations they receive. Its a corporation that someone is banking off of big time while all the hardest working employees for this company are getting chump change for pay. And they lie to the new employees at orientation saying there are monthly bonuses when the store hits there production numbers. And they dont follow there own guidelines as far as verbal warnings before disciplinary action. This place is a joke and a lie. And now i have received all my other W2s from everyone else except Goodwill. After waiting over 2 months for my background check to come back after my interview to work for this horrible company.
So I picked up some awesome chairs at a really great price. They color code their tags and have a few different sales on those color through the week. I also like the people that work their, very kind hearted people.
Very expense bad service
The staff aren’t the most friendly at times but I do find a variety of great home decor items here! Like any Goodwill, items are decently priced.
They have a great variety of useful items the reason I dont put five Stars because the clothing selection is another story if youre a large or XL or 32 34 waist dont feel prepared for a large selection I didnt find one item but if youre looking for tools vehicle accessories and probably toys this is the place to go cheap
Called ahead to ask if they accepted stoves, they said they did. When I showed up they said they dont accept stoves. I asked to speak with a manager and told him what the story was, he said the girls who work up front are idiots then walked away.
Wheres all the stuff? There are far better thrift stores around the area. If you need clothes, Goodwill is decent. Want anything else and you wont get it there.
I love this store! Picked up a Coach purse today and a very cute dress. Prices are fabulous and the sales are even better!
I love shopping here. I they are one of the few best places to shop for clothes or shoes or anything else from makeup to house stuff I love I t
The staff is very polite. They seem to have the best prices out of all the Goodwills that Ive been to. They also have a lot of brand new stuff especially from Target. You cant go wrong there most everything is in excellent shape.
Goodwill is suppose to be inexpensive...they are not. I dont like how if there is no price tag on something they just look at it and give it a price off their head.. some clothing may still have its original tags and they still want to try and sell it at top dollar...you can go to yard sales and find good clothes for less expensive then what you can find at goodwill.
The selection is skimpy. The prices are ridiculously High. I enjoy second hand shopping but good God! Someone is getting rich off it and it sure aint the nice and courteous hard workers there.
Clean and organized. They had a good selection of vases which is what we were looking for. We used them as centerpieces for our wedding reception. You can find so much at Goodwill!
Great place to make donations or get good deals on unwanted items.
Everyone was so friendly! The merchandise was displayed attractively and seemed to be good quality and selection. The store was spacious and clean.
This goodwill has a lot of stuff I very good prices. Its a thrift store I love it how they have it organized. My favorites are when there is 50% for club blue members they dont do points anymore but I get 50% off. Keep up the good work guys.
I go here all the time. Its the best selection of items Ive ever seen in all of the boulder county goodwills, and the folks who work there are always helpful and sweet. I get about 90% of my clothes here! Its always clean, and the ADA changing room is always locked until someone asks for it, which is very good for me, because my wheelchair doesnt fit in the others. Its a good spot.
The staff here is AWFUL! Trying to donate an entire truck load and the staff rudely tells us to get in line, after we pulled behind another vehicle who had just finished donating. So we go to turn around and the other 3 staff members chain smoking cigarettes on the corner building throw their hands in the air at us and are muttering things as we’re trying to turn around. What a joke.Do yourselves a favor and literally go anywhere else.
Very organized and professional. They have a rewards programs where repeat customers can build-up points and get additional discounts. Prices are sometimes a little high, but they are always having half-off day, so it balances out in the end. On the half-off days make sure to get there EARLY, because they get slammed. Ask for a sales calender at the beginning of the month; it is very useful in planning your shopping. Overall, great place and I will definitely be a return customer.
Great experience donating a bunch of stuff to the Longmont Goodwill today! The staff was helpful and friendly. It only took a few minutes to unload my car full. I had all of my things categorized into separate bags (clothes, linens, books etc) which made the donation process fast and easy. They were nice and asked if I wanted to keep the bags I had things in and offered to write out a receipt for us. I was initially put off by some of the bad reviews for this particular Goodwill, so wanted to share my experience for anyone else looking for a place to donate.
Two separate times and two separate employees have come up and taken what I’m looking at away to purchase it for themselves... as a customer shouldn’t we get the respect to shop before the employees rudely take their pick of inventory right from under us? Very discouraging .
Definitely one of the best thrift stores out there. Amazing staff and amazing products for everyone.
Christine was very helpful. At longmont goodwill. I was in there looking for a costume for my 11 month old son an could not find one. My husband an I asked christine she help us look. Found us a fox costume 12months in back got it priced for me an everything
You win some you lose some. I personally think that they could have some better things on the shelves. Ive been to better Goodwills. This one, not so much.
Very large Goodwill, general a nice place with some good inventory. Expect more of a selection in the womens department. They also have vacuums, toys, lots of random things making this place always worth a look
Great stuff! Every minute something new shows up they are great for restocking.
Never shopped here, but I donate stuff on a regular basis. stopped by this afternoon to donate a very VERY nice couch in near perfect condition and was told that we dont accept furniture despite having double checked only yesterday that they do, in fact, accept furniture. called the store and was told that the people who unload/sort donations are allowed to reject items if they dont want to lift/move them. seriously?!?! I cant donate a couch that would serve someone very well because your are too lazy to do your ONLY JOB! extremely irritated that they both lie to people and refuse to take things out of laziness.
Worst experience weve EVER had! The workers on today 9/19/19, refused to take lamp, & coat rack because they were taken apart. We had all the necessary parts, my son explained we had to take them apart to get them in the car as we dont have a truck. The fat old man said, thats no excuse, we wont take them put them back in your car or put them together. My son spent at least 10 minutes putting them together with his buck knife. But all three workers were extremely RUDE!!! Weve give thousands of dollars worth of items to this goodwill, we will NEVER give to them again! Extremely poor attitudes, not a place to give items to, go to ARC or some place else...this goodwill shouldnt even be allowed to be open with the attitude presented to people giving good items to them!
I tried to drop off a couch and was treated with such disrespect by the supposed manager, he was rude and unprofessional. He told me they didnt want my couch to take it to the ARC. I explained I had confirmed with a phone call to the store that they could take it, he said the front has no idea what their doing or what is going on in the back. Again telling me they didnt want the couch. It was in good condition with power recliners that worked, too bad they let some sour mouthed ill tempered individuals speak for their store!
Went here to donate a perfectly good couch no stains no tares no holes just a good couch, but they wouldnt take it cause it had pet hair on it not a lot just enough for them to say we dont to take the time to clean it off so im never going to go there again or suggest them to anyone
Tried to go purchase pants more then an hour before they closed and wasnt able to as they apparently close dressing rooms way before they close. Ive never been in a clothing store with a dressing room that wont let you try things on. When I asked they informed me its because people leave to many things in there and they have to put them all away. I wish I was kidding that this is the answer I received. Do restaurants only do half their menu an hour before close? None that Ive been in
Large store with pretty good selection. Nicely organized and easy to get around
This Goodwill was nice. They keep it clean and the staff was very friendly. One pet peeve of all goodwills is they dont sort shoes by size. I wish they would do this!
Good stuff sometimes. Good people work there.
What horrid horrid customer service. Everyone in there needs a serious aditude adjustment. These employees dont look at you, Make eye contact, speak clearly answer you or seem to give a damn. Everyone was unpleasant from the guys who are in the back to the cashiers. Watched one girl walk in for her shift looking like shes going to kill someone. This place is a mess. There are way better options and better good will even in differing towns.... I would drive before going here ever again.
Attempted to donate an ice maker. The person working donations told me that that they are going to have to pass on it. Sold it for $1,200.00 the same day.
Love the $1 back room! So many great scores.
Very limited mens clothing, but that could easly be the areas market. Rather messy book area and bathroom was ok. Personal were friendly enough. They do honor senior discount, so I did get two long sleeve shirts for $8 and change.
I have shopped at Goodwill stores for 45 years+ and l must say this one is the worst!! Prices on everything are WAY TOO HIGH!! Tag days you are lucky to find a handful of items in any size! ! Ive also noticed several of my favorite clerks no longer work there since the new young lady manager has come here...whatta shame!! I was so thrilled when l heard the store was going to open.... now l just hate going in there!!;(
Typically a nice experience. Cheap stuff and a cheap crowd but there are good deals from time to time.
Goodwill is a great place to get great deals on the things that you want
Terrible. Surly workers. Dirty store. Never anything good. Really bad area. Give this one a miss.
Huge store. Lots of good stuff usually. Just like any other goodwill otherwise.
The floor manager is extremely accommodating and nice but in my experiences most other employees are very rude. When you call they pick up the phone and immediately hang up.
Donated a bunch of kitchen ware that was in very good condition. They took the box it was all in and dumped it into another by bin, breaking it all. There was very nice coringware that was all broken because they were careless. Could have saved myself and them trouble if I knew they were just going to trash it like I could have.
A great place to find new and used clothing, furniture Halloween costumes
My favorite Goodwill to Shop at. I’m from out of town and love coming to Longmont for this thrift store.
I believe this is typical for thrift stores but there is a much better selection of womens clothing here than mens.
Do they have any black leather jacket women
They have great stuff and are really helpful about getting everything to your car
Because you can sometimes get really well made furniture there
I watched an employee receiving donations, stomping, yelling, and throwing things into bins. This mortified the people donating in line. He treated his co-worker horrible by yelling at her and throwing things. This man, heavy but not fat wearing a baseball cap was out of control. I called the store and talked to both the store manager and the donations manager. I explained that there where very nice things being donated and the man was smashing an breaking things in front of the public.I took a video and will be talking to Channel 9 News tomorrow.
Donation used to be appreciated. I took my loveseat to this Goodwill on a Sunday and they saw that but said they dont have room in that busy day so asked me to be back in the middle of the next week. I went there again and this time the guy told me he is alone and cant take that. I even offered to help him carrying the loveseat but he didnt accept it and asked me to come back the next day. I did again the next day and this time they told me since the loveseat has scratches they cant accept it. Something that they could tell me the first time. Never going back there since they dont value peoples time.
Recently redid the setup of the housewares area, so there wasnt much stuff out on the shelves as of early june 2018, but this is mainly because of a lack of donations (do not blame an employee for a customers wrongdoing). Employees are pretty nice and I like to talk with them about their work experiences while they ring things up. Nearly half the store is furniture and the other half is clothes, which is really great because the furniture is far to cheap for what it is and the clothes are great as well. Also as of early june 2018 their selection of dresses was only on one store rack so if youre looking for a dress Id try someplace else first. In general its hard to find pants in common sizes, specifically mens, but you could always do one size up and have it fitted and hemmed. Definitely a good place for shoes and shirts though.
Friendly helpful staff. Awsome prices and deals.
I got a cool fluke of a desk from here for 5 bucks. I like going through peoples old things...
Very helpful really good people.
Great prices for things you know wont last around the house with kids!
Prices have gone up big time
Great Place for bargains- cleaning the building would go a long ways
99 cent jeans day, someone from another thrift store buys up every pair and theyre gone 5 minutes after opening time. They need to set limits on good deals.
Theres usually something to find...but if not its kind of fun to brouse around! They have New employees wich is nice! They had some employees that were really rude...and make sure you keep.your receipt..some of the items you may buy can and will be broken..they have some things that are way over priced...and the jewelery consists of alot of costume and department store donations and they are priced rediculously...they sometimes sale jars that have a whole bunch of misc stuff like beads old broken necklaces earrings and some random stuff that they found at the bottom of a trash can....and charge a WHOPPING $100. $50. $40 And i personelly bought a few and found some silver items such as earrings..a few necklaces...and bought never found any gold items to conpensate for the amount of money you pay to find absolutely NOTHING ? Theres jewelery thats priced at GOLD PRICES! I SUSPECT the person in charge of pricing all of the jewelery donations.....DOES NOT KNOW 1 THING ABOUT GOLD/SILVER/COSTUME JEWELERY FOR NOTHING! I found a ring in a box in the jewelery display and it was marked $99. And i looked at the ring and it wasnt even marked gold or not even a hallmark ...just a fake gold colored ring! I showed the employee and the ring is still in the jewelery case ....so remember to check out the jewelery because theres NO RETURNS OF JEWELERY ITEMS! And they never have mens blue jeans like never..Ive been going there for about 5 yars and i have never found my size...34X32. Basic size....??? And the shoes look like HOMELESS PEOPLE SHOES....GROSS! But other then that i have fun just looking around...they moved all of the Aisles and stuff around and got some NEW items you should check out.. :)
Decently clean goodwil. Items that I saw had decent prices.
Always good deals, of course, and friendly people.
Nice place for cheap interesting things and toys.
Obviously needs better management. Im disappointed in how its going down hill in amount of quality items
Dont have a lot of items on their shelves. High prices on the few things they do have.
They dont have a great mens selection, the girl that I asked for help made me feel like I was bothering her.
Its very over priced. The one in Lafayette is better
I love this place because I get a senior discount at the age of 55! Nobody else in town gives a discount till 65
Jesus took twenty mins to donate stuff here i called ahead and they said they took bedframes but i guess they dont really
DO NOT GO IN HERE IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO CATS!! Within a couple minutes of just walking in the door allergies started kicking in.
Very impressive! Clean and organized
I like coming here they have half price days often and its a good place for me to find work close since i work outside
Nice people, clean store and good deals.
Awesome place and smoking deals..
