Have been in several times over the last month to buy everything needed to start snowboarding (board, bindings, boots, pants, etc.) and never had any issues. Staff were always friendly enough even though some seemed unhappy working there. I called today because the goggles we purchased fogged up horribly both times that I tried to use them. I couldnt find the receipt and of course it is the one item that wasnt listed on our account purchase history. However, the lady that I spoke with said to bring them in and she would work with me. When I arrived the man at the counter (owner I believe) was very blunt and borderline rude. I explained that I had called, what the issue was and told him I was hoping to return the defective goggles and upgrade to a better quality (and of course pay the difference). He told me in a very matter of fact way that I had a good brand, handed me the replacement and said there you go, youre done like he just wanted me out of the store. Didnt even attempt to listen or anything, not very customer friendly even though I was wanting to spend more money... Although all other experiences have been pleasant and we have spent a good amount here to get set up, I dont see us returning to this business based off todays visit :(

Please save yourself some time and find another boat repair shop to handle your boat issues. This place does not specialize in boat repairs or diagnosing boat issues. I wish there was more reviews about how they handle boats on google so that way we could have saved ourselves the time and headache taking it here.

They really went above and beyond fitting me with ski boots. Until now Ive never had boots that dont hurt after an hour of skiing, and I can in ride these all day! Its a real game changer.It took a few tries shaping the boots and footbeds, so dont expect it do be quick. Don and Nick were dedicated to giving me a better skiing experience and made sure it fit my within my budget.These guys really know what theyre doing, and the staff is friendly. I cant recommend them enough!

Emily hooked me up with awesome and clean rentals. She was by herself and helped like 8 people and me at once. I lpve local busimesses that have awesome service thanks guys!!!

The way they shipped skis to me, the bindings rubbed on each ski leaving marks. Emailed and called several times with no support from these guys. AVOID!

I will never bring my boat to this shop again. Never. The money I spent, well over a thousand dollars, was a waste. They even returned my boat with only one battery connected!The people there are very nice, polite and I believe they are honest. I just think they lack mechanical experience, skill and competence.When it comes to winter sports, they are undoubtedly “top notch”. But when it comes to marine I/O mechanical issues, there are much better options than The Pro Shop. Good Luck.

Excellent place to buy water skiing equipment and snow skiing equipment. Always have an excellent selection and the people there know what theyre talkin about. You cant go wrong by shopping here .

Pro Shop is FIRST class! Customer service is 10/10, super knowledgeable and first class workmanship.Ran my Sanger V215 into the ground and took out EVERYTHING. Called Don and he met me in Vancouver to pick it up! He basically rebuilt the entire running gear and I swear the boat runs better now than ever!And such nice people.Cant say enough good things about this shop - if you need ski gear or boat work done, I highly recommend Pro Shop!

I had about given up on ever having great fitting ski boots again. Then Don at the Prop Shop stepped in. He made a custom footbed and adjusted all the settings. hes very tuned in to foot comfort, asking lots of questions and making little changes. I skied a couple of times and returned and he adjusted them twice more, each time eliminating bothersome issues. Ive never had such a great fit before. And the boots are high-end high-performance boots. Really kicked up the whole ski experience for me. This guy is a master with boots. Worth the drive up from Portland if you want the best fit possible. Good prices on skis too. He took my old skis for a reasonable trade, and they offer free waxes for the life of the ski. Awesome.

Younger employees are very nice, the older gentleman whom Im assuming is the owner is not very pleasant to talk to.. I came in asking a simple question about whether a snowboard was worth tuning up or not and instead of giving me a personable response and putting himself in my shoes, he gave a very douche response, which is unfortunate because all of my other visits have been great with the younger employees, who have been extremely helpful.. Will probably take my business elsewhere now

Great ski shop! Always very helpful people and have what you want and do what you need on time. Better than any Portland area shop Ive ever been to. The one-star reviewer must be some kind of clown or doesnt know what hes doing, because Don has to be one of the most helpful retailers Ive experienced locally - were lucky to have Pro Shop here locally.

Ive bought 2 pairs of skis on-line from the Pro Shop (ProSkiGuy) over the past 2 years and it has been a great experience in both cases. The prices have been better than other retailer, the shipping and packaging has been great, they pre-waxed, and also de-tuned. Give Don a call and hell take care of you! Ill be back when it comes time to buy another pair.

This place and the people who work here are fantastic.I first met them at the ski fever expo where they helped me find skis for my particular blend of on mountain activities. I was immediately impressed by both their patience and knowledge and walked away a happy buyer.Well today I took a chance showing up as soon as they opened, and the day after the expo, to get my bindings mounted. Even with their shop a mess as they worked to move their wares back in, and their team exhausted from the weekend, the team at The Pro Shop welcomed me in, mounted my gear, and talked to me about the best places to go in the area.I know Im coming back here. You should too.

After many years out of the sport we have decided it was time to get back into it so we tracked Don and the crew down at the recent Ski Show in Portland. Don was great helping me decide on the perfect ski, boot and binding combo. I doubt anyone knows more about skis than Don does and surely I have never had someone take so much time to explain all the features, advantages and benefits of what I was looking at.Angela and her staff were also great helping the family pick out new ski clothing. On top of all the great service the prices were good which made supporting a local family owned business that much greater. Thanks everyone and see you on the slopes. I too recently got back into skiing after a 10-15 year break. Don at the ProShop provided excellent service and education about boots and Skis. The ProShop continues to deliver well after the sale. With over 40 years in the business, you cant go wrong. Highly recommend.

I get all my winter stuff hear for snowboarding the people are really nice and gave me a discount one a burton backpack but I had to ask they are having a sale this week but if there is something you are looking for like a snowboard shop around and price check because somethings are a little more expensive there then other places other that that they are a great place to get winter sports gear and summer sports gear
