One of my favorite spots for donuts. Much bigger selection of donuts and kolaches in town. Staff is always friendly and work hard, so there is rarely a wait longer than 2 minutes. Drive through is the same quality. We go out if our way on weekends to get donuts / breakfast from this specific location.

Everyone needs to know that the donuts don’t taste exactly the same anymore because some of the people that work their or use to work their quitted the job it’s been harder ever since that happened. And if you come to Shipley and expecting it to not have a line your obviously crazy. And I recommend the jalapeño colaches.

Its weird..the regular stuff that is generally always good at every donut shop like reg glazed, chocolate, pigs n blanket werent that good. But their Apple filled, bulvarian cream filled, buttermilk cake, and maple glazed donuts are next level good! Coffee good too.

Put in for my five year olds birthday donuts a week ago and was just told they didnt do them.

A little bit busier than I would have preferred but the line moved quickly.Satisfied will be back.

I love the hot donuts, and hot donut holes! Earl Campbell with pepper jack cheese is also good.

Great donuts, but trying to get served as impossible. One person working drive-thru, walk-up, and some catering or app ordering line. He was obviously overworked, not his fault. But hes obviously pretty new as well. Rotten service.

Hands down, best donuts in Longview! One of the first things our family wanted when returning to the area after four years living abroad...a Shipley donut. If you havent had one, youre missing out.

This place has gone down hill. Called in an order and sat in line for over an hour to get to the window and they had given away half our order to someone else! Last time I came here I sat in line for about the same time to have overcooked and dry food. I used to love our weekend visits and we all enjoyed the food, but we will not be coming back as every experience keeps getting worse.

Went in on a Friday morning. Out of the 5 or 6 workers that I could see, only one was wearing a mask. She was one of the cashiers. She was also wearing gloves, but was not changing them between money exchange/ serving the food, which defeats the purpose. I wont be back.

Ok .. Before yall ask, yes I am from east Texas. I grew up on Shipleys. But this location is not what it used to be ... The donuts have a powdery like after taste now. These covid-19 donuts theyre serving just are not right. I think when the management changed the recipe changed. They are not the same. I miss that flaky icing.

Just cant get past it. The BEST kolache in town - 100%. However, management cant seem to negotiate a visa machine deal so you can buy just one kolache if thats all you need. Shipleys requires a $4 minimum on any Visa purchase. Thats right...any regular Joe with an IPAD can process a free transaction anywhere. People all over Canton and many brick and mortar businesses in Longview do it but Shipleys, with considerably more volume, just cant manage to get it done. To be fair, there are several do-nut shops around town with $3 and $4 minimums and I have the same view towards their weak managers/owners. For the other guys, its an instant vote of no confidence and I dont go back. If it were not for the kolaches, I would never go back to Shipleys (i will never go back w/o cash so they will lose some of my business). They probably do not get a massive amount of pushback but really, few people go get cash from an ATM to pickup their do-nut or kalache in the AM and NOBODY wants to buy extra food they dont want or need. Though I do eat there occassionally, I never recommend Shipleys.BTW, Shipleys has at least one location inside a convenience store and since a customer pays at the convenience store register, a minimum is not applicable.

Shipley has some of the best do-nuts. They are always fresh. This morning we had the bacon egg and cheese sandwiches. They are so big and they are very good.

Went here because they where open at 4:30 am and needed a cup of coffee. They had just unlocked the doors but were very friendly and to my surprise they didnt act like I was bothering them even though they werent quite ready. The cashier got my coffee and donuts rang me up with a smile. After I paid she went right back to finish opening. Great place.

Its my favorite but today my service was horrible! I ask for a dozen chocolate donuts holes she gave me glazed. No big deal, but when I went to exchange them the lady had an attitude and the guy worker! If my service was good your rating wouldve been too!

I was raised on shipleys and although they changed ownership about 10 years ago, I still love them. Their donuts are alot better than those generic donut shops that have sprung up all over longview.

Some of the best donuts on the market; they may not have 300 flavors or fancy artisan ingredients, but I cant think of a place who makes a better donut. Cant go wrong ordering here, every donut is amazing.

We went to Shipleys for donuts on Sunday. It was 11:45am, and the other donut store nearby that I typically go to had already closed.Shipleys is known for great donuts, so why not?The floors inside were dry, but so slippery with grease or oil that my son and his buddy were having fun sliding all over the front lobby area. How nasty!We placed our order. I got an apple fritter, my son got a sprinkle donut, and his friend got a cinnamon twist. When our order was given to us, we had a plain cake donut in place of the sprinkle one. I brought it up to exchange with no issues.Back at the table, we all noticed that the donuts were cold - almost like they had been chilled. There is not much worse than a cold donut. Yuck!While we were in the booth with out cold donuts, they boys giggled as a customer almost fell on the slippery floor.Perhaps if we had gone earlier in the day, our experience would have been different.

We just moved here from Ohio and thought we would never find a donut shop as good as the locally owned and operated shops back home. Boy were we wrong! Shipleys Donuts are better than anything back home! Great service, too.

Hands down one of the best places to get donuts and kolaches in Longview.

Food was pretty good but me and my wife got sick as a dog. Food poisoning real ba I am guessing they let the food sit out and then heated it up and gave it to us. Had thier new bacon sandwich and wife had a sausage kolache as well as some donuts but I am pretty sure it was the meat that made us sick.

Went to purchase a dozen glazed around noon today. Im 68 years old. It was the absolute worst donut Ive ever tasted. My dog would even eat a bite. We will Not be back. Hard to believe they can stay in business

This used to be the best place in town for donuts but the last couple of times I have gone it was terrible. For me a good donut is fresh, warm and dry, not sticky and wet. Today I bought a box of 12 plain glazed at 8:00 in the morning. They were covered in goopy, sticky icing and were jammed into a box, they looked crushed. They were warm but did not taste right, maybe they had been microwaved. I have decided to find a different place to buy donuts. Its a shame because Shipleys used to be so great.

The apple fritters are heaven on a napkin! The new breakfast sandwiches are hefty and delicious! The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean!

I stopped here because of the name Shipleys! These donuts dont taste nothing like Greenville Mississippi donuts Shipleys! The donuts in Greenville melts in your mouth when first cooked but these here in Longview are ok but nothing compared to Greenville.

Just awful!!!!! The doughnuts were too old, cold, and rubbery. I gave them 1 star only because I had to in order to be able to write the review. Dont waste your money!!!
