Edgar was very helpful when my boyfriend and I came to pick up our sectional. We waited longer than expect to receive our sectionals due to Covid, so we were very excited to get a call about our tv’s. Thank you, Edgar for being so eager to help us load up these couches. We ordered our couch in February. Was told it would be delivered early April due to covid. No big deal. Now all of a sudden we have to wait until July bullhead. We ordered a table about a month later and got that. They couldnt find the second box of chairs so they Gave is 2 floor models. Youd think theyd be more organized even when my husband called an hour before hand saying he was coming to pick it up. Customer service was fine. But they need to get things together.

My husband and I started financing an entertainment center and couch together. We put a $1000 down payment and have been paying our payments. We were suppose to receive our things April 22nd. It never showed, so I called. They told me that it wouldnt be arriving now until May 22nd. Another month goes by and the bank We are financing through calls me and tells me that we have to start payments but furniture world told them that our couch wouldnt be there until June 22nd now. It is now May 31st and I have not gotten a call from furniture world to tell me this themselves. I am making payments to something that isnt even at my house. There communication is horrible and seems as though they dont care for there customers.

My family has been through hell the last few years. We came in to literally buy a house full of furniture. Although there was a little mix up on a couple of things, Jesse and Stephanie have been so helpful and kind. Our visit here ended with happy tears and a hug. DO NOT FINANCE THROUGH THE STORE. They offer their American First financing as no interest or fees for X amount of time. The financing company is set up to get at least double out of you on what ever you purchase. The interest rates are over 55% and the first 101 or 90 days that are supposed to be same as cash are absolutely not. There are so many hidden fees that the sales reps will not tell you about as they want to make a sale. There are fees for early payoff as well. Do not get yourself into a very tight spot with financing from these people.On a positive note, the sectional we purchased is great and was in stock. Every other furniture store has the same couch, dont waste your time here. Go to Elams in Longview.

I have made a few purchases here and so has my mom... everytime we have been very pleased and our stuff has held up. Amber is amazing and the delivery guys are wonderful as well. Did everything they possibly could to try and fit a rather large couch into my house, which didnt work, they then re-delivered my new couch.. the same day. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We bought furniture here the staff was wonderful especially Richard. When the furniture arrived one piece was not new it was damaged and shown signs of wear so we called them and they ordered another piece for us. Still waiting for our order but everything else was great

Poor all around service from the older lady helping us. Poor communication, changed price 3 different times, gave us quote on wrong part number and argued with me once i pointed out the part number confusion. Said they can sell us mattress with no eta arrival?? Then after the 3rd price change we offerd to buy floor model and was told no.... very poor and frustrating experience. Not recommended. Unless they have it there in the store and at the price the tag says dont buy.

Sales staff was great to work with. Answered all our questions, let us rearrange furniture and did not pressure us to purchase. After the sale, a piece was damaged but not noticed until we got it home and in our house. They quickly resolved our issue and we are happy with our purchase. Not our first time shopping at Furniture World in Longview and wont be the last.

My wife bought several pieces of furniture through this store. The customer service is amazing. They took their time with her, never rushing and offering options that fit her desires. The delivery was expedited and the gentlemen that delivered and set up the furniture were professional and courteous. Pricing was affordable. Furniture is quality and well-built.After about a week, my wife noticed a small nick in the corner of the dining room table and sent pictures to this store. Without reservation, they promised to replace the table at no cost.They have earned a customer for life.

In store was great, but if you have to order anything at all.. DONT DO IT. We were told our love seat would get to the store for delivery on the 19th. No call. Called a few days later they gave us a date of 29th.. call today (1st!) they are now saying the 6th... OVER A MONTH LATER. They keep saying because of Covid everything is backed up.. drivers sick what have you... but my parents have been waiting for a piece of their sectional for over two months... so don’t hold your breath.Definitely would not order anything again. We have a family of 7 and a three person couch. Ugh.

Some of the rudest most dismissive customer service I have ever dealt with. Been waiting for almost 2 weeks for a mattress that was supposed to arrive “in a couple days” our saleswoman was great. However calling today about our mattress my mother in law was treated very rudely. I do not recommend them at all, take your money elsewhere. Customer service is a make or break it to me. I have worked it my whole life, and besides 2 people they do not have it.

So they said would reorder. 2 no later still no dresser... I think they forgot to order it.. would never admit that. Will not order from them again. So disappointed in the older womans service. Will not shop here again. After ringing up our purchase of a bed and mattress, the sales woman tells us its not in stock and will be in town in 2 weeks. Been nice to know that before you charged us. 2 and a half weeks later we had to call because they have not reached out at all. Now they say it hasnt even shipped yet and could be another 2 weeks out. Not even a single apology or anything. Done with this store.

The furniture was okay, didnt end up buying anything. Furniture was a little dated and the prices were really not that great. We would have bought a platform bed but the delivery time was over two weeks and since we just moved here we really needed it now. They had very little in their warehouse and it would have taken two weeks for us to get it at least. We do try to buy local, but honestly Amazon had two day delivery and the platform bed I bought was $300 less

GREAT service in beginning BUT after I had to downsize seemed like nobody cared or wanted to help, the sales lady tried to charge me anything and everything to get as much money as she could. Plus when the furniture finally came, it came scratched and torn. One of the delivery boys even argued with me. Im done with this place dont reccomend it & wont ever go back . I DID have to go back pick up my cocktail table few days ago & I will say the guy in the back was very nice very respectful Id say hes the only thing good i can about that place. But after everything next time definitely going elsewhere..

Horrible customer service, I wish I never bought a couch from these people. If you do purchase a couch from them be aware there delivery guys dont have a clue on how to move furniture. your better off hiring a third party mover. Dont waste your time with these people they will not help you solve any problems. I asked to have a manger call me back. Nothing. I called again and the customer service told me I cant make my manager do anything. He just blows people off and there is nothing I can do. BUY BEWARE

Place isnt very clean in or out. And they cant blame the outside on the homeless . They kicked them out of outside shelter from the rain even though they made sure they were gone before they opened. Sad thing is it could be one of them one day. There is a story to every homeless, but I know ... it looks bad. Im glad Jesus didnt think that way.We eventually all go through the same things in one way or the other. I believe thats a fact! Compassion is a dying thing just like the pledge of leadgent to the flag, one nation under GOD... in schools and football games. And hows that working for us?

Its clear they care more about the sale than the actual customer. I have worked in retail myself and this is the most unorganized place Ive visited. Not only did we not receive any calls but when I asked to state that the sales lady quickly interrupted me and ask what I was calling for. Not the friendliest facility but I suppose they get the job done.. I dont know yet of course because we have been waiting for our couches 2 weeks.

Sales people were friendly and courteous and they had a decent selection. Unfortunately when It came to attempting to buy a sectional is when It took a turn for the worse. We found the sectional that we wanted and agreed upon a price with the sales person after going back-and-forth a little bit. We went to look at some other stores and came back since we didnt find anything better but my wife decided she wanted to get the sectional that we found. She came back and was getting ready to buy it when the lady was getting paperwork ready she looked it up on the computer and it was $600 more than the agreed-upon price and $300 more than the first price she initially gave. The manager took quite a while to get over to look at it and when he did he just said yup thats the price and speed walked away. We decided to take our business elsewhere in regards to a $2400+ purchase and found a better deal in Portland on the same exact sectional.

Customer service is horrible. Decent prices but they are awful at returning phone calls or fixing issues promptly. Took 5 months to get our cushion covers in. Dont waste your money getting the lifetime warranty on anything. Charge a bunch extra and dont like fixing the issue. Bought a $2500 sectional and it got delivered with a hole in the cushion. Took a month to get it fixed.

Sold us a floor model entertainment center without informing us it was the floor model we would have been getting (told us new in box) I would have negotiated price down if Id of known! Sold us the WRONG dining room table and 4 WRONG chairs and 2 of the RIGHT chairs (that should have been right.) Went back next day and NO APOLOGY NO COMPENSATION (the table and chairs they actually sold us were $100 cheaper!!!! No COMPENSATION for selling us a floor model OR wrong dining set!!! They apologized for overcharging us $7 on the chairs!!! WTH??? We spent $3900 on 2 pieces of furniture and this is the service we get?? Still havent seen $7 either! DO NOT SHOP THIS STORE- Nice and helpful when getting the sale HORRIBLE if theres an issue (THEIR MISTAKE)!!!! NO accountability just sarcasm and excuses. We will NEVER shop there again!!!!! Bought a insurance policy on my sectional, going on three months and its still not repaired after a claim I made. Paid premium prices for a sectional and the lack of service is extremely disappointing, only one staff member seems to care, the rest are marginal at best.

I went in today looking for a coffee table. The salesperson was NOT helpful. They didnt have anything in stock and it would take 10 days to get here. I asked which ones were in stock and she very rudely told me that she would have to go back to the warehouse and look. She then say and stared at me making it clear she didnt want to do that. I gave my $600 to Elams. Randy Elam was very nice and his showroom is spotless and they loaded the table for me!

I placed an order with this store on Saturday, 25 February 2017 and was advised of a product availability date of Thursday, 02 March 2017. I contacted the store on Saturday, 04 March 2017 and was greeted extremely unprofessionally. Neither associate I spoke to was informative or helpful and I was asked to call back. I asked the associate to quickly advise if my product was there. She again countered with...I will call you back in 15 minutes. Two hours went by so I called again. Yet again I was treated poorly and was interrupted and said that I would receive a call back by the end of the day. This phone call took place at 12:00 pm. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I have received and will not be shopping with Furniture World again. I do not recommend shopping here simply due to the disorganization, disrespectfulness, and unprofessionalism.

On September 2 my family went into Furniture World on Commerce in Longview WA. We found a couch that we were interested in and applied for a loan- to see if we would qualify. The lady helping us said that we were approved and the couch was ours if we wanted it. My husband asked if we could get the display model for a discounted price. The lady told us no-due to there being a few of them stocked in the back. They said they only sell the display if it’s the last one. So we told her that we needed to go home and think about it, as it was a lot of money for us. We returned back in on September 9, ready to purchase the couch. First thing my husband asked her...-still have a few of those couches in the back? The lady told us yes. We told her we wanted to go through with buying it. My husband had to run down the street for a quick errand, so I started the paperwork. The lady then tells me that our loan is not approved now, rather it is pending. After some research her coworker helped her out, let her know that she didn’t need to resubmit our app like she did, because it was already approved on the sep 2nd. Now our credit was ran twice. I told her that my husband is not going to be too happy about that, and her reply was “ oh well I don’t have to go home with him.” I was just kind of shocked by that response and didn’t really respond to it. After a long process of calling the bank and more paperwork, our loan got fixed and we were “still approved.” No apology from the lady as all she told us was -how strange it was that we didn’t purchase the couch on the day we applied for the loan’” The loan was finished now and we were told to head to the back to pick up our couch. After an hour waiting for them to dig around their warehouse, and eventually no one was around, we walked back up front for them to let us know that they did not have the couch. My husband, once again, asked about the display. But he was told no on a discount now because the loan was already ran. So I put a stop to everything and had the loan reversed. No apology from anybody, and when I asked about them having more in the back her response was -well we sell a lot of furniture, you would be surprised. We were pretty upset that she didn’t check to see if she had the couch before we signed for the loan- And the fact that she told us they did have some in the back, when they really didn’t. After leaving I called the store to try to get a manager or owner’s information. The lady would not give me any information other than a name, so I left my name and number and I barely got the last digit of my phone number out and the lady abruptly hung up on me. I have tried to call back several times to speak with a manager or an owner, and nobody will return my phone call, and every time I call no one is available to talk to me. My family is very disappointed in the service that we got, as we have never had an issue in the past. The lady helping us, her name is Sharity Knapp, I do not recommend this place, or her, to anybody. We are pretty bummed out as we really liked the couch we picked out, and we now haven’t had furniture in our living room for a week. 😬

Yolanta was an excellent salesperson and was very patient and knowledgeable in helping us find the right reclining loveseat. When we found the one we wanted, it turned out to be a part of a set. Yolanta asked her manager if it was possible for us to purchase it individually. Her boss then shouted to us--across two rows of furniture!--that it was NOT possible to sell individually. Then in a contradiction he added, it would be $268 extra dollars and no one would want to pay that. I dont know if the manager is trying NOT to sell furniture, or he didnt like us because we were a same gender couple, or what. However, that is some of the worst sales management I have ever witnessed. He should take tips from Yolanta who walks up to customers, welcomes them, discusses options, and both wants to make customers happy and sell items to keep Furniture World open. We had decided upon a $1,500 budget for a loveseat and additional side chair we had already picked out. Instead, we left the store without any items and went to Elams--where the management is as professional as the sales staff.
