Well customer service is good. It is a hit miss and I feel they have a lot of empty areas that needs to be replenished very quickly.

I found some wonderful decorations for the holidays. The store associate was very helpful referring me to coupons for future purchases at Big Lots.

Unfortunately I didnt get the sales associates name, but the lady I dealt with who sold me a couch was very friendly and helpful. The gentleman who actually brought the piece of furniture out and helped me load it was also very personable.

Love it even tho they sold the Lane recliner loveseat I want and cant get one for 6 weeks if I order it. But I enjoy the savings on food items and other homegoods. Love the check out clerks. They enjoy laughing with the customers, which makes me want to go back to shop and have a good time with the clerks. Thanks for the entertainment.

I have been shopping at this location for YEARS. Ive always been happy with the service and the prices but, sadly, I will NEVER be back to this Big Lots ever again. The way I was treated and the way I was spoken to by a by a woman named Amy (possibly a manager, since the cashier flagged her down when I had a question) was deplorable.The problem itself was irritating but trivial, I chose a waste basket from a sale aisle with the only prices being on paper signs, no other prices were posted. On each sign was printed:Waste Baskets ....... $6Other items may have had a price change down the aisle but waste baskets prices remained the same, $6. None of the items were above $10. I finish shopping, I go to the counter, wait in the usual line, and proceed with the check out process. The cashier, a young man, was nice and helpful. I noticed that the waste basket rang up for $11, I mentioned it to the cashier and showed him a picture of the paper sale sign that was above it. He looked concerned and looked around for help. He flagged down a late middle aged woman of short stature and short hair with olive skin. He explained the issue is if the computer rang it up incorrectly; her response caught me off gaurd. She was short, abrupt, and seemed to try and place blame on my misunderstanding . Being in customer service, I didnt want to be one of those customers so I told her, Thats fine, but its clearly marked as $6 down the entire sale aisle. Some customers might end up getting nasty over something like this, to which she responded with, well, its been up there for a year and aint no one yelled at me yet. I was immediately offended by the blatant lie, those paper signs are obviously not a year old and they are always rearranging the the home and garden section of that store if not for sales then for the seasons.I took a deep breath, hit my hand on the counter, shook my head, apologized to the cashier, and walked out of the store.After putting the items in my car, I decided I was going to call corporate and post this transaction here on Google so I went back in the store, took pictures of the entire aisle and asked the cashier the womans name. I came home & put my stuff away to give myself a chance to calm down. Then I called corporate, made a formal complaint, and here I am... still astounded by the way that woman, Amy, spoke to another human who was also a loyal customer.

I came to this location to purchase an $1100 mattress. This was the 3rd Big Lots I went to today in search of this mattress. After searching for someone to help me, the woman I asked for assistance was of no assistance at all and RUDE. She told me in a very dismissive way that I needed to put on a mask first, while walking right past me. Ill happily take my money somewhere else that actually has CUSTOMER SERVICE. Id give zero stars if it were an option.

They have a really clean and well laid out floor plan stores. There are lots of things to choose from for your home. Very reasonable prices too. Nice furniture pieces to choose from. Linen and towels along with home decor items.

I bought a mattress from here a year ago and the sales associate was a very kind young lady and she was so very helpful; I dont remember her name but she had curly hair. I decided to bring my mom here to buy hers and at first the lady in the furnitaute department was asked for help by an elderly couple and she showed them something and told them she needs to go and walked away. The older lady told her husband, I didnt understand her and she didnt explain it to us. They walked away from their purchase. Then comes our turn and we were ready to make the mattress purchase and of course nobody is to be found. We waited for 20 minutes and finally we saw a blonde lady at the computer and my mom asks her to help and she rudely said im not in the furniture department and we asked is there anyone else to help us because we have already been waiting for the sales associate for 20 minutes and she said there will be someone else coming in 30 minutes and then goes on to use the earpiece and call the actual furniture lady. This lady, I guess her name is Maria, came from the back room told the lady on the earpiece what do you want and saw us standing there and the blonde lady walked up to her; mumbled a bunch of things about us, rolled her eyes, and they both walked back to the computer. We asked them are you going to help us? They said yeah we will be right with you. Maria and blonde lady you both dont deserve to be in customer service or sales. The easiest $600 sale you could have gotten for your store. What a shame!

Love Big Lots!! Store is cleaned and organized. Team members were friendly and attentive. Only compliant, isles are really narrow, im sure thats a covid precaution so people are not close together, but its still annoying.

The furniture they carry is okay. Would be nice if they had what you wanted in stock. 4 times now, and nothing. Even gave the guy 3 different picks, and still nothing in.

The cashier was very nice..store was clean..they had what we were looking for..when yiu first go in they have a little station set up with spray and paper towels.Very nice

Avoid this store at all costs. Workers on a power trip. Especially the bleach blonde in the front who gets carts.

Big change. Update! Made purchase of backyard set and gazebo. Matt and his team were great from beginning to end. Matts assistant mgr, a shorter latino lady was wonderful.

So I bought a pair of earbuds for $11 not a big deal they didnt work went to exchange them 2 days later and they refuse to accept the exchange. They sell Crip but at least they used to let you return them within 90 days and now they wont let you return them it all stay away from there if you buy something thats broken from the manufacturer you will have no recourse but be screwed out of your money

Lot of deals and a good place to shop home essentials. Their parking needs a redesign.

Didnt have what I wanted

I just called this Longwood Big Lots store twice to check to see if they had a furniture item in stock and was put on hold each time. No one ever came to the phone in 5+ minutes. The first time, I was told that he didnt know why the manager never came to the phone and basically just repeated my same experience the second time. I called the Big Lots at 2544 Colonial Dr, Orlando, and got great customer service, so I will be shopping there instead. I dont have time or money to waste on poor customer service.

Store personnel was helpful but the outside had overflowing garbage and more trash around the entrance. Some shelves were empty and they didnt have a few things I needed. This wasnt my first time there and was diasppointed again. Will stick to the store in Sanford.

Great remodel. Was disappointed in the lack of price tags on most items. I would see 10 identical products and maybe 1 would have a price tag. Some items would have a price on the edges of the shelf, but these were often crowded and had tiny fonts with sometimes unclear or inaccurate information

Manager called police on me & said that I was shoplifting. Officers confirmed that I had all receipts for evert item. Manager still calling me a thief in public, on 12-21-19 @#552. Insisted that I be Trespassed for no reason at all. Embarrassing,Emotional Stress,and made to look like a criminal just because I seen an item in their flyer that I wanted to purchase. District Manager just give runaround !

Its Big Lots. Each visit is a new experience. I recommend going like once/week. This way you can keep up with the ongoing rotation of what is available on any given day.

Dirty, disorganized, the staff seemed disinterested in anything happening around them like they were miserable there. The cashier was nice. Overall being in this big lots was depressing.

Everyone there always has a smile on their faces, and are always willing to help.
