Wednesday and Saturday, Pigs feet. My favorite, and they do it right. The Pork skin and everything else is delicious. Don’t forget to tip the ladies. They deserve it.

Ive been coming to Las Americas for years. Which makes it even more tragic that the quality of their food has fallen PRECIPITOUSLY. All THREE of my last visits Ive been saddled with BURNT yellow rice. And u only get so many mulligans. Wont be going back anytime soon sadly.

Racial micro aggressions. very odd i know. but i walked in and asked for a plate and they said it was closed when i clearly saw food just sitting there while they stir and play around with it. i kindly accepted the fact that they didn’t wanna serve so i walked off but 2 minutes later i see a man kindly getting his order taken while chatting with the ladies while the lady who told me no to getting served stared at me as i walked out. don’t go here. nasty attitudes, poor service.

I mainly go to Las Americas for the food, and it is fantastic. The food is inexpensive, yet tastes like I’m at a restaurant. The staff is polite and helpful. You can find a verity of things from personal care items to yummy treats and rare finds. There’s no other place like Las America’s and it’s team, and it will always be somewhere really close to my heart for me. The five star rating is well deserved after many year of delicious food and dessert for a low price but not low quality. I’ve seen a lot of reviews saying “not enough seasoning” or “too much seasoning” and all I have to say to that is, they have found a perfect middle ground when it comes to pleasing customers and taste in my opinion. They can’t please everyone’s taste buds but they sure did get pretty close based on most reviews including my own. I also have seen comments about the area that it’s located in, and it’s in the same plaza/ area as a Starbucks and a McDonald’s, there can be weird people in any plaza after dark yet, that’s not the company’s fault or it’s staff. This is authentic food, with each bite I can taste the flavor and passion put into their food. I definitely recommend!

Pretty good food but they dont make you feel welcome if you dont speak Spanish. Very rude service! How can you call your establishment Las Americas and not embrace English speakers or Americans. You guys lost a customer today.

I love this little Latin market/bodega. I have been coming here since moving to Longwood in 2016. I mainly stop in to get something from their hot food bar for lunch. My selection rarely varies (usually arroz con gondules - sometimes with a little bit of one of the meats avail). The staff are always friendly (even when our language differences get in the way). The food is fresh and delicious! I have purchased meats from their grocery section and the prices are extremely affordable and the quality is very good. I will continue to stop in as I totally adore coming here.

I been coming to this place for about 10 years they never disappoint with their food it doesn’t matter what your get their food is so good and their quantity for their prices are great, my favorites the sancocho, fried rice, tostones, alcapurias, beef, and all of their sweets are delicious. Literally the best food and a great place to get meat. Everything is so affordable. I wouldnt come here alone past 5pm tho, so definitely keep that in mind.

So outside and inside does not look that great not as sharp as it should be but! The food was fantastic. I was a little concerned going into this but when I took the first bite I did the all famous mmmmmmm it was absolutely fantastic the flavor was on point the white rice was perfect the beans were perfect and the meat and the sauce was all perfect I would definitely and will definitely go back and eat here again highly recommended. I would have given it a five-star but took one start out because the place looked a bit Tatty did not look all that well picked up the counter was not wiped down but everyone was friendly I was greeted when I came in and the service was on point. Honestly it pains me not to give it a five star but were being honest here.

Kitchen Staff is super slow rude,when ordering food the wait is ridiculous because the employees see a long line and they act blind as they dont see customer,and at the cash register the people are super slow too,instead of doing they job they wanna talk on phone,with customer,employees to come to buy not a good place rather go somewhere eles

Las Americas has been cooking for my company events for a little over four years. Employee parties and customer parties. Their food is always on the money. We just had it again yesterday for our customer appreciation party and it just hit me that in 4+ years that we have showed them love, we have never showed them love on Google! WTH??? The employees are very friendly but honestly the food isn’t that great, the beans needs more seasoning because they are too plain and the chicken stew also needs more seasoning but it’s definitely affordable food, they just need to improve on the seasonings for the beans and chicken stew !

I went in t get cooked Latin food. The food was good and the prices were good. I only gave it 3 stars because the prices were not displayed and I felt like I was just supposed to know what was going on. I didnt know if they had certain meal deals. I have been to other pick to order buffets like this but usually the prices were displayed and you knew if you could have one or two sides and what cost extra. The women behind the counter were a little on the serious side and seemed a bit annoyed when i would ask what kind of meat was in the trays as i prefer to know if im eating chicken, beef or pork. Overall, nice place I will go back.

The little cafe inside this grocery store is AWESOME!! The food that they cook all day and especially during lunch time is AWESOME!! The meat is always tender and the rice is always fresh and so damn good!! I highly recommend stopping by here for lunch instead of going to McDonalds or some other fast food restaurant!! The prices are also cheaper for lunch here as well!! Awesome place for lunch!!
