No notary on duty. Blank trip to this UPS location. I suggest looking into having more than one staff member who can notarize.

Kiran and the staff at this store are so kind, patient and helpful. I have been here several times and have never waited more than a few minutes. I also appreciate how understanding they were of a very busy (and loud) toddler last time I came in to ship a package!
I stopped by the UPS Lorton Marketplace earlier this week just a couple of minutes before they closed. I needed to send a letter and also hoped to have my passport photo taken, but I thought I might be too late for the photo. Kiran was pleasant and professional, and was happy to take care of the passport photo. I have been going to this UPS store for years and have always been pleased with their service.

I have been a customer of this store from when it first opened back in 2007. My family has used many of their services including mailbox rental, copying, shipping, faxing, notary service and purchasing shipping supplies. Kiran and his staff are so friendly and helpful. Our packages always arrive and in great shape. Recently, we shipped over 30 boxes in lieu of using a pod service for our move out of the Lorton area. It was so efficient and Kiran did a great job for us. Thank you UPS Store and staff for such great assistance. We will miss you guys!
I had an issue returning a product that I bought from Amazon through a third party vendor in which they didnt provide me with a pre-paid label. So, I walked in and Kiran helped me with this return that weighted almost a 100 lbs. He was curteous, polite and professional at his job. I was very satisfied with this shipment with UPS. Returning equipment on a pre labeled box and was Charged a dollar for one line of tape by Mariah.One line of tape, it didnt even take her 30 sec to take the box. .Crazy.
Very bad service, the staff are very rude to the customers.I went to this for the first time to return an amazon package and I didnt know I needed a printed copy of the return code or how to use their computer.The staff refused to help show us how to login to the computor to print a paid copy of the amazon return paper.This resulted in me having to print 3 copies as I wasnt told which printer to use or what format to use. And they charged me for all 3 copies.

Nickel and diming to the extreme. While every other UPS store will allow you to email them a return label, I had to log on to print it out. Paid for that. Then spend money for printing. And there was no reason why they couldn’t print it out, just “we can’t do that.” Won’t be back. Obviously don’t care about customers.
Kiran Shreshta is the most unprofessional and cheap manager in all of Lorton. He consistently argues with customers and overcharges for absolutely no reason. One time he charged me for some copies that he had messed up. The last three times I went there the air conditioning was broken, and he still has not gotten it fixed. I will start going to the Kingstowne UPS Store location, (even though it is out of the way) and I suggest those who read this review do the same.
I can NOT begin to express how disappointing this UPS store has been.In December 2020 I sent back a very expensive iPhone through this location which I took pictures of and wrapped very carefully prior to shipping, I simply did not have tape so when I went to the store to send it back I requested tape to do it myself and they offered to do it. Naturally I accepted since it is their job to ship items as it is, about a week goes by and my phone has not been shipped the location still says Lorton VA so I call and they guarantee my phone is gone. Another week goes by and Sprint has not yet received my device and are charging me 2 devices even though I sent one back, so again, I call the store and no one answers until the 5th try only to be rudely told theres nothing they can do about it and it is not in their store yet find my iPhone last tracked it closest (about 10 miles North) to Lorton, 2 days after I dropped it off. My only guess now is that an employee saw a brand new 12 Pro and took advantage of the situation somehow. About 2 months pass and UPS customer support put a claim out for the missing product and Sprint was able to settle with UPS directly.Most recently after my horrible experience there I still wanted to give them a second shot and took some shoes to return to this location only to have the shoes sent BACK to ME, the SENDER. They scanned the incorrect label which you would think would not be an issue if I am returning and they placed the label on for me. I received my own shoes back and took them to a different UPS store. If you want to waste your time and be robbed, then this is your store.
EDIT: Since the manager has replied, I want to emphasize that this wasnt an occurrence limited to holiday season, but starting in July of this year when I first started using this UPS. This has been every single time Ive had something printed.I moved to my Lorton this year and started using this FedEx for my print job needs and have used them 3 or 4 times now. Every instance requires multiple trips. On my first stop in after my print job is scheduled to be completed the store worker will inform me that the store did not receive the print job. The business also has no sense or order as its always quite messy behind the counter, and lacks any sense or organization or process. After the most recent incident I went to pick up my jobs two days after their promised completion date. At that time the desk working informed me they had not received the print job. I asked to speak to a manager who was on shift at that time and instead of accepting responsibility or acknowledging that this was poor customer service, he blamed it on the UPS website. From a customer perspective, I never need to know where the breakdown is. I expect management to acknowledge the customers need and business promises were not met. It is completely unsatisfactory that any level of leadership would attempt to avoid responsibility or attempt to correct it and instead throw the company they represent under the bus in front of a customer.I went back two days later to pick up my two jobs and again only one was ready. I asked the member on shift if he needed my order number or even name (again, no processes here) and he said that wont help. The gentleman on shift then called the manager and let him know that some guy was here for a print job and only one was printed. They had me email my remaining print jobs to the store but now Ill need to go back a third time for a print job.I would not recommend this UPS store for any business. Its run by chaos, chance and happenstance. If you need something printed, it would be more time-efficient to make your own paper and ink.
This store honestly saved me when I was in a really tight spot. I needed to get passport photos taken ASAP for an emergency replacement passport and the management here really came through for me. It was late in the evening and they took care of everything for me, even notarizing the photos and ensuring that I had all my documents printed etc. for my passport application. Incredible service, top speed and top quality! Thank you!!!
Use them for my work mailbox and have done so for almost 3 years. Never had a problem till tonight called to ask to see if there was a check in my box He refused to look. I can have my mom go pick up the check but she is going to be 74 this year and I dont want her to go out if theres no check there. I live a little far away to go drive there and check it.
Standing right at front of the store right now the time is 9:15am they still not open and the store hours are 9:00 am open wow how u mange the business when u not even open on time while I have seen several customers left tug the door and find out not open yet.
I am a frequent flyer at this particular UPS Store. I am an avid Amazon shopper, and I also own my own business. Amazon returns are a breeze, and every transaction is handled quickly and efficiently. My husband also went there recently to have some last-minute documents notarized; as expected, everything went smoothly, and we were able to meet our personal deadline to submit our signed paperwork. The owner and his staff always have smiles on their faces, and Ive personally seen them deal with difficult customers with professionalism and courtesy. I started using this location because its convenient to my home, but I continue to use it because of their outstanding customer service.
Came inside for a printing job for a business presentation. Needed 14 color copies of a 80-page powerpoint deck. The staff greeted me and had the job done by end of day. The printing job turned out exceptional! The pages were binded with a cover and end page. Will definitely come back to this store again.
I was in on 3/17/20 with 2 Amazon returns. I was having some problems getting the packages labeled. Sunny was incredible. He was so wonderful and patient while providing me with assistance including printing a label from my email after I screwed up the first time confusing mailing labels.Sunny also suggested a better way to send my Amazon third-party return which saved me immensely.A big thanks to Sunny for helping me.
Great customer service. Had a lot of documents for the notary and needed it sign d quickly. They did it fast, accurate and at cost that was good. Recommend this UPS store.

I had a package sent to me next day mail, it never left the store and I missed the deadline with my court papers. I THOUGHT UPS WAS A BETTER OPTION OVER USPS, I WAS WRONG. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!If I could have given UPS zero star I would, its their fault my package is not on time yet I cant go to the Brooklyn location and pick it up. Did I say I will never use UPS again!
Went in to drop off a package for DHL pickup since this location is a DHL AccessPoint. Turned out to be a lot more complicated than expected, and the first gentleman (who was v nice and helpful) needed manager assistance. The manager, however, was less than helpful. Clearly didn’t want to deal with my “complicated” request. Gave me conflicting information, was rude, had a very take it or leave it attitude, and basically didn’t want to deal with me or my questions despite my simple questions. I ended up leaving and shipping package from another location, and going 30mins out of my way to do so just because this guy didn’t want to be helpful.
Always great customer service! Kiran is always nice and chatty. The whole staff is quick and courteous.
I worried about my documents privacy at this store. I get service with printing/scan documents and I asked customer service guy to remove my document that he have on usb flash, but he do not want to remove it So I really worried
I just returned a stuff that I purchased online, and the associate informed me, I can take your stuff for return but cannot give you a receipt. Never heard of that, what kind of transaction is that? I hope my stuff delivers, 9:53 am 01/23/20.
Any time any day you will always find here people ready to help you get your package deliver, always with a good sense of humor, plus there is always parking space available.
Only good for packaged drop offs. They overcharge you and force you to buy their own packaging.
They went out of their way to help me I spent at least an hour there trying to find something Amazon and UPS had lost the owner Kiran Shrestha was incredibly helpful honest and kind

This is the local neighborhood UPS store for me. I am usually visiting them several times a month or every other month. I have been doing so for 4 years now and I have never had an issue. The service is always great, prompt and with a smile. I also like that I always see the same faces working there. Unlike most retailers, there is no revolving door of staff or changing of the guard every so many months.

Showed up 2 minutes before closing and though they had locked the door already, Sunny (the manager) let us in to ship a package we wanted to get out soon. Inspected our package thoroughly and added packing materials to ensure no damage occurred. Well definitely be back for the next package we need to ship.
Sending a package here is like borrowing money from the mob. You can do it but it better be your only / last option. I had a small parcel. Postage cost = $11.20 . Then add $11.00 for packaging and service . I incredulously asked what that included and was told it covers the box ( worth about 75cents ) and .... wait for it .... the tape. UPS are franchises. The owner of this one has chosen to use a markup of a few thousand to his costs when fixing his prices . Thats his right - I hope that everyone reading this exercises their right to patronize a parcel vendor that doesnt rob them in the process.
I have been coming to the UPS in Lorton ever sense I moved into the area about 2 years ago. Both management and staff never fail to provide exceptional customer service, and they are always friendly.I would definitely recommend coming to the Lorton UPS for any shipping needs.
My experience at this UPS Store has been amazing. One day, I found out a payment had not gone through online and I needed to mail in a check. This was late in the day and if my check didnt get delivered, I was going to owe several hundred dollars for every extra day it wasnt delivered.I was only 10 minutes away, but the store was supposed to close in 10 minutes. So I called the store while I was on the way, trying to confirm theyd still be open. The guy mustve heard how frantic I was, and he reassured me that if I was only 10 min away, theyd still let me in even if it was a couple minutes after closed when I arrived.I thought I knew where the store was, but I made a mistake and instead drove to FedExs store down the road instead. So I ran into FedEx, explained my problem and asked if they could get my letter delivered by the next day. The FedEx guy said the last mail collection of the day had already gone out.So I run back to my car and go to the UPS Store, fully expecting Id missed my window of opportunity.When I got there, a woman was just locking the door. But the man behind the counter saw me and told her to let me in. I explained that I needed the letter delivered ASAP and he told me it would be no problem.This guy was the best! He helped me look up the address it was being delivered to (just to confirm it was right because by then I realized there was a chance Id copied the address wrong). He looked up the phone number of the person it was to be delivered to. The he asked me how soon I needed it to be there and showed me that they had multiple guaranteed delivery times the next morning. I paid and by the time I left it was at least 40-45 minutes after closing time.Awesome job, UPS Store guy!
Notary refused to notarized my legal power of attorney document saying he didnt understand. Went to the Burke ups and got it notarized. She said it wasnt unusual and they notarized many documents like this all the time. Waisted my time today.
Ive been a regular customer for over 2 years. The staff is very informative and helpful - they always go out of their way to offer me business solutions. Even though this store is out of my way, I couldnt imagine taking my business anywhere else!
This place isn’t even one star first off I’ve been here like 6 times and I always see one person working in the front and no matter how long the line is only one person is in front and I have seen multiple people in the back and they refuse to come help even when the line is 5 plus people always waiting and I kid you not the workers in the back see you and still do not come help
I recommend you go anywhere BUT this UPS store. They are either scamming people or are incompetent. I had a 5 lb canvas that needed to be mailed. It was 20 by 28 inches wide and I was quoted 80.00 due to the strange size. They assured me they tried to find scenarios to ship it cheaper but said the best they could do was 80.00. It was going from Virginia to Florida. I couldnt pay that much and decided to go to Office Depot to see if they could ship it and they sent it through UPS (same carrier) for under $17.00. It LITERALLY makes no sense.

I needed to have a package in the process of delivery today, the site says that the store is open from noon to 3 pm, it is not. Now because I relied on the information that the store provided on its web site, I may be at fault for the shipping delay.
It’s 9:15am and no one is here. The website and hours posted on the door state it’s open at 9am. Poor management. I’ll find somewhere else to mail my two packages. Obviously this UPS location doesn’t care about its customers.

If you are a USAA member, do not go here to deposit checks. The machine is iffy at best, and the people who work there refuse to admit it or fix it.
