Clay (the manager) was so nice, helpful and not pushy at all like other places I had contacted!! He helped me find the right storage that worked for me and made me feel confident in the facility I chose. I have only been to the facility twice now but each time it has been extremely clean and secure. It made me feel better knowing that a manager lives on the grounds because it is obviously more safe and less likely to be broken into. I also love the fact that you have to use your access code to get in and OUT. As well as the ability to access your storage until 10pm since I am a bit of a nightowl and work late alot. The management is very helpful and friendly. Things are explained in very good detail. The facility appears to be very clean and well kept. I understand that the manager actually lives on site which I think is a plus for security. It was very easy to complete the documentation over the Internet. Gate hours are very convenient, basically daylight plus several hours. The location is convenient as well. Prices appear reasonable relative to market.

Recently I needed an additional storage space at the Los Alamitos location for about 2 months. I was in a desperate place. The manager was very cooperative and found me a space literally right across from my other space. I used it for the 2 months and the manager made it easy to cancel the extra space. It was a very pleasant experience.

It was so easy to start and end my rental. They even don’t make you pay for a full months rent if you want to end your rental in the middle of then month.

Honestly god bless Karissa! She’s the current Store manager at this location and honestly the main reason why my boyfriend and I canceled our reservation at Public Storage, even though public storage was cheaper. Her personality and hospitality as an employee was so infectious we didn’t want service anywhere else. If you want great service especially when moving and needing a storage space, I’d go here. She’s pretty much the only employee so you’ll be guaranteed amazing service. Love her!

This facility was really nice, neat and clean . I loved the workers there and they were very polite . Made sure I got the necessary space that was needed and would utilize all my items as well supplied me with boxes to make things much easier. First time storage renter. I got a great price online and it was convenient to where I needed it to be. When I showed up, Robert was great. He showed me the unit and gave me a complete orientation from operating the lift to testing my gate code. By the time I left I was knowledgeable and confident I could return with my stuff and load up my unit on my own. He gave me a chance to inspect it and he laid out the security. I didnt feel like he was trying to sell me something or pressure me. I really appreciated that experience. I was a little afraid it was going to be like walking on to a car lot.When I finally did move in on Saturday and I couldnt get the lift to work, Norm came right out and fixed it for us. There is a lift and motion sensors on the lights.There isnt a lot of bells and whistles, but there shouldnt be. Its renting a storage unit.Note: avoid in the afternoon when the high school across the street lets out.

This is my first time ever getting a storage unit. Annie was very helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend this facility.

In less than a year they have increased my storage rent twice totaling well over a hundred dollars increase. They require you to have insurance provided by them even if you’re already covered by AAA. They changed ownership and haven’t let anyone know. There is no consistency in any rules or guidelines. Whether you’re on their website, talking to them or getting a letter, all three will have different instructions for important problems. They aren’t very secure and overall I would never recommend. I am incredibly unhappy with this facility and will be getting my things out immediately.

She is such a tremendous representative for Extra Space Storage; friendly, kind, helpful, professional and extremely knowledgeable with regards to explaining the facility policies.I currently rent a unit but I was in the need to rent a second unit and Jewells came to my rescue. My experience was top notch!!

We moved from another storage facility to this one on the recommendation of a friend. We found it larger, cleaner and drier, well-lit, and with larger units and helpful staff. Robert, an Assistant Manager, helped us to determine what size unit would fit our needs and our budget. Later, when we found it necessary to rent a larger unit because we were emptying out a house we were selling, Robert helped us again, and helped us to realize that we could rent a larger unit to fit everything into, and we downsized to just one. Extra Space also has better access hours, and most importantly, reasonable prices. We have since met Sam, another Assistant Manager, and Norm, the Manager, who are equally as personable and helpful. Some may not think these attributes necessary in relation to storage facilities, but I do. These three men made an extremely unpleasant task a much more pleasant one for me. Thank you, Robert, Sam, and Norm!

From the first call to my last encounter, the gentleman working the facility was extremely friendly and professional. The site itself was spotless clean and easily accessible. I would recommend this to place to anyone looking for storage space, it was well worth commuting from Long Beach to get here! I would give it 10 stars if I could.

I have never used a storage facility before and was very impressed with the professionalism that I received here from assistant manager Robert Trcopan. This place is very close to where I live and very easy to get to. The facility is very secure which gave me peace of mind in leaving my business furniture and decorations in the storage unit. This place is highly recommended and I will definitely use them again if the need arises.

Reserved storage online. Went to Extra Space Storage immediately to claim my storage and conveniently person in front of me took it. I think they should at least wait an hour or two when someone reserves a spot online, not literally 15 mins. But Karissa did set me up with another, oddly shaped, but fit our items. She was wonderful, kind, great service. Online thing, why bother if they can still give it away.

I wish I could give zero stars! The rental process was very easy. However, my rent was raised and I paid it. I knew that was coming based on previous reviews. I found out yesterday when I went to the unit it was broken into in February and I was never informed. They personally call to request payment but a however, your unit being broke into is not their priority. PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE WHEN LOOKING FOR STORAGE!
