Worst customer service I’ve ever received at a beauty supply store! They only bother serving you if you “carry shopping bags from Harrods”, and once you do manage to catch their attention and ask for their help they simply direct you to the makeup brand counter you asked for. They then expect you to try the foundation in question by yourself (which means using your hands as I don’t carry makeup brushes with me) without offering to assist you, even thus they are the so called “makeup artists”.
Big store. However I feel that the people working there more pushing products to sale than advising which one will be best for me.
If there’s anyone here who deserves recognition. It’s the sales assistant called Alina. She guided me and my sister through everything that would be good for my sister. Advised her on what and what not to do to her make up and skincare. I haven’t enjoyed an experience quite like this in retail in a long time. I will now only allow anyone who mentions makeup and skincare to only shop in Space NK Knightsbridge now. That’s solely down to your lovely assistant Alina.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM JOSIE AT THIS BRANCH. Honestly do not recommend this store at all. Harrods beauty hall just across is much better with lovely staff.I had visited the same Space NK branch in Knightsbridge 2 days ago and purchased a new foundation along with a powder. After wearing it the next day and seeing my friend, she fell in love with the way they both looked and we decided to go along to the store so she can shade match and buy the exact same products.As we are both makeup enthusiasts and makeup artists we dont need any help as we have a lot of expertise in the area. We spent around half an hour shade matching, applying the chosen shade all over the face and completing it with some concealer and the powder I had purchased which she also wanted to try and buy.We knew what we were doing and as we are makeup artists we brought our own makeup sponge and used it.We were asked a few times if we needed any help by a few staff members, which we politely denied and only asked them if they had any recommendations on a concealer etc.A staff member called Josie walks past and there is a bit of tissue on the floor next to the bin, which did not belong to us. She immediately marches over and tells us to put the tissue in the bin. I told her the tissue was not ours. She huffed and walked away. She then went and stood at the tills with another colleague named Mathew or Micheal something like that, and continued to STARE at us in a very uncomfortable way with a very dirty look. A few minutes later, a customer comes in and asks her to recommend a blusher. Of course she recommends a blusher which is located where we were standing and came and told us to move out of her way with the worst attitude and dirtiest look. Me and my friend looked at each other shocked with the way we were spoken to, thats when we knew she had some sort of problem with us.She continued to stare at us in a horrible horrible horrible way whilst with her customer. I then asked her excuse me, do you have some kind of problem with us being here?. To which she answered in the worst attitude well all your doing is trying all the makeup and not buying anything, we were truly shocked to be spoken to like this as we are regular customers of space nk and my friend had every intention of purchasing the foundation and powder. As makeup artists we frequently go to makeup stores and space nks, and makeup departments and spend time looking at new products to buy. My friend said if im going to spend a small fortune I will test it out on my skin and spend time getting the correct shade and seeing if it compliments other products I use, I wont just walk out the shop because if its the wrong shade I wont be getting refunded after using it, JOSIE continued to say your just using everything, youve been here ages, your not buying anything. and the heated shouting exchange carried on with all the customers in the store staring, to which we were then extremely embarrassed to have been treated like this and said were leaving as there is no way we will be giving our money towards any commission for you, which she then said I dont get commission anyway. and the shouting continued until we quickly shuffled out the storeMicheal or Matthew also said to us if you dont like our attitude you know where the door is, when I said Im shocked at this attitudeI am shell shocked and Space NK is not the only store which stocks Becca or Hourglass, she will be going to John Lewis tomorrow to buy her products. And we will never buy anything from Space NK again. Harrods, Debenhams, Selfridges, House of Fraser and John Lewis beauty halls have amazing brands with the best customer service. They truly have staff that have manners and not a stinking attitude. Is this the what staff are taught at their Space Nk induction? If a customer spends too long on a product, or doesnt look like theyre going to buy anything then treat them like crap and tell them to leave.
