Cash and create books that expand possibilities. They show me different worlds, inform me about the lives of creatives, difference makers, social Warriors and do it with the most extraordinary photographs and highly curated text. From small beautifully constructed and very inexpensive bucks, to extremely large museum-quality books that require their own handmade stands, this is a sanctuary for the curious and for those that are obsessed with diving headfirst into deep and beautiful worlds of words and photographs. The best gift, and the best heirlooms.
My go to spot for the perfect gift. Well, maybe I shouldnt say go to spot. I always end up finding just the right gift for that person I otherwise cant find *the* gift for. Unfortunately I usually forget about Unabridged until the last minute, and they never let me down.
Drove all the way out here from Silverlake and instead of closing at 7, they closed at 6:20 which isn’t on the sign or Google Maps. There were two other couples trying to shop for books. It’s Christmas, fix your signage.
Not a great selection of current fiction, but plenty of gems if you have time to walk around. They have something for everyone! Super friendly staff! Very kind and helpful.
Pretty interesting store. I had never heard of it before but now I know where to look for books regarding photography, illustrations and art. They have all sorts of these books and theyre mostly images, some are accompanied by text but it is mostly imagery. They have varied sizes for a lot of books and the prints on the pages are very nice quality.
Love to pop in to see whats new. Beautiful coffee table books with amazing photography. If youre looking for a gift or books to add class to your home; this is the place to come. They have a wide range of price points from very affordable to expensive.
Books were reasonably priced. The lady that rang me up mentioned that the Author of the book I was bought was rad. I told her that I knew that already and we high fived. Knowledge is power!
My book collection continues to build.
I think Irma Sytsma is confusing Taschen with Skylight books. There’s NO damn cats at this store, there’s Kaboom the goat at the farmers market who’s the only closest thing to any “mascot” and he HATES books.
Nice and different collection of books at reasonable prices
